Gambit stared long and hard at the man. Slowly, a small smile graced his face. He laughed a bit, almost purring as he kissed him slowly. "Mmmm....So, den...we be muthah an' fatha?" He smiled, snaking his fingers down to grope his bottom. "Mmmm...cher...."

"Ja." The man nodded, purring. "Zo, vat are ve going to do about Jeannie? He's sort of baricaded himself in ze room." He rolled his eyes. "Und I haven't forgotten I'm a teleporter. It just feels wrong to..." He searched for a word. "To barge in."

He smiled tenderly, gently kissing him once more. "You nevah cease ta surprise me, mon petit demon..." He held him close, lovingly kissing down to his neck. "Remy always want a real family..." He sighed softly. "Ah go talk ta him, cher...."

Kurt nodded, perching on the stair railing and watching the man head up to the room. Jeannie blinked as he heard something against the door. "Th'ell y'want?" he murmured, voice thick. He cleared his throat. "Th'ell y'want?"

Gambit slowly walked in and sat next to the boy. He gently touched his hair, smiling softly. "Petit...Gambit wanna know...do you...wanna be a family?"

The boy glanced over at him, leaning slowly and nodding against his side. "Famleh wi' who? You'n'...Kurt?" He licked his lips, looking at the floor. He moved closer, pressing into his side, continuing to look at the carpet, plucking out the fuzzles and letting them scorch up between his fingers.

He nodded, gently petting his hair. "Ah know ah haven't been fair ta you, petit. He nodded. He paused, nodding again as he found his voice. " 'Kay. Mm-kay. A'righ'. We c'n try," he said quietly. A laughing smirk spread over his face as he looked in the man's fiery eyes. "Guess I c'n stop yellin how y'ain' m'dad, huh?"

Gambit blinked, a sputtering laugh escaping him. "Yah right about dat, petit!" He smirked, playfully ruffling his hair.

Jeannie sputtered, blowing a stray hair off his mouth. " 'Ey!"

"Hey!" He jumped, staring as Bobby teetered in the window...again. "THAT'S NOT FAIR, DAMN IT! WHY CAN'T ANYBODY HERE AD-AAAAH!" Several loud thumps were heard as bodies toppled to the ground. "ADOPT US!"

"You got yer own famleh, y'cheap b*****d!" the boy shouted back, folding his arms and settling his head against Remy's shoulder. Kurt poofed into the room, crouching in front of them.

"Iz everyt'ing rezolved?" he murmured, looking at the thief.

"Kitteh," replied the boy evenly.

Gambit smirked, pulling the fuzzy mutant into his lap, kissing him tenderly. "Yeah, it all fine, cher. We a family now, an' you be da mom..."

Kurt smiled, pointed teeth showing over his mouth. Jeannie leaned over, feeling the blue mutant's fuzz against his cheek. "Y'min' if'n I jus' call yah kitteh-dad? Don'..." He glanced away. "Don' feel too...too goo' 'bout sayin'...talkin 'bout mahs..." The demon-mutant wrapped his tail around the boy's shoulders.

"Zat's all right. I'd feel strange if you called me your mozah anyvay." He laughed.

Gambit smiled, holding Kurt's hand. "Dis is nice, oui?"

"WE HATE YOU, FUSE, YOU LUCKY SONUVABITCH!" Bobby shouted in a sobbing voice.
