"Wh-wha' y'wan', lady?" Jeannie mumbled, glancing away as Rogue continued to stare at him.
"Wha' y'think you're doing, kid? Being with that man like you are? Wha're you gonna do when he finds hisself some wo--"
"Shuddup!" the boy snapped suddenly, a low glint forming around him. His eyes flashed. "Wha' y'care? Y'had a chance, I heard." He snarled. "Mean, if'n y'had some chance then y'threw i'way 'n' y'shouldn' be all like a snaggly tooth ha--" He gasped as the woman's bare hand touched his face.
"Y'shouldn've gone mouthin' off t'me, boy." Cold shot through his marrow. A dull sound like a scream came from far away as he sank to the floor with a growing dark in his eyes. Rogue stumbled around the room, plaster and bits of linoleum shooting into or down from the air as the boy's power shot through her, more uncontrollable than her own power it felt.
