The boy slid his arms around his waist, nuzzling into his shoulder and nodding slowly. "Yeh. Yeh, I like it." He tightened his grip, pressing closer. "Feels good."

He held the boy against him, gently stroking his hair, just resting under the sheets.

Jean reached up with one of his hands, toying with the ends of Gambit's hair. He giggled softly, flicking at the strands. "Coul' make a lil pon'tail outta tha'. Feels long nuff." He turned slightly onto his back as he moved closer, staring into the other's red eyes. "Beau'ful..." He leaned forward, kissing him lightly.

Gambit's eyes widened slightly, gently holding the boy to him as he returned the kiss, stroking his back. "Cher, you wanna know...why ah wanted you?"

"Wasn' gettin on too bad," Jean mumbled. "Got nuff t'eat. Foun' someplace t'sleep when i'was nigh'. Wasn' too bad." He nuzzled up against the man's face, letting out a soft snicker. "Heh. Scratchy..." He settled down again against his chest, closing his eyes halfway. "Don' wanna hav'ta..." He chewed the word over. Don' wanna hav'ta be all needy...all...all baggage like...

He gently tilted his chin up, his eyes smoldering as he stared at the boy unflinchingly, like he could read everything he was feeling.

He stared back into the hypnotic eyes, tearing his gaze away with an effort and glancing toward the ticking of a clock somewhere. "Don' stare a'meh like tha'." He pressed his lips into a pale line. "Makes meh wanna..." He shook his head, looking back into his eyes. "Remy..."

He smiled, his eyes half-lidded as he moved a smidge closer to the boy's face. "Yeah, petit?"

He felt his lip turn upward slightly at the edges. "Nutin...jus sayin y'name..." He moved closer, brushing their lips together as he spoke. "Remy...'s nice name..." He turned his head, burying his face in the other mutant's neck. "Nice name..." The room darkened as he closed his eyes, half-dozing.

He gently held the boy to him, licking along his ear down to his neck, patting his back as the boy rested against him.

The boy squirmed and groaned in his sleep, worming closer against him before slurring something in a muffled voice and falling asleep.

He chuckled and settled a bit so he was resting on the headboard, the boy sleeping soundly on his stomach. He lazily stroked his hair as he, too, laid back, slowly falling asleep.

Jean blinked the sleep from his eyes as he sat up, looking around the dark room. He slid out of the bed, moving out the door and stumbling down the stairs. Hnn...where's the damn pisser in thi' place...He knuckled at his eyes again as he turned a corner and went into a room. The door slid shut behind him with a hiss. He stared.

"Wha' th'ell..." Before him was a ruined city. He moved slowly through the debris, jerking his head to one side and the other as huge pounding sounds surrounded him. Where th'ell 'm I? A sharp pain rose up in his shoulder. He jerked a fraction later and looked at the blood decorating his arm, then to the source of it. Oh mah God... A robot towered in front of him. Well...I don't havta use th'pisser an'more...
