(( Not quite so dead?
The only explanation that I can give you to guys is....college business. Things got pretty insane, so I had to drop a lot of hobbies to get everything under control. I can see you guys have been trying to keep this alive, so I think I'll try to do my part. Let's say he fell asleep or something and got left behind.
CORVUS RETURNETH
*Gets the thread defibrillator* CLEAR ))
Lost in the vast dunes of the Corsan desert, Corvus trudged slowly through the scorching heat of the mid-day sun. Ever since he had been separated from his "comrades", Corvus had long since lost his bearing and had been wandering mindlessly for days on end, with no sign of any civilization to be seen. Hope for rescue had been long lost; the Khaev soldiers who were to escort him to the Council of the Two Hundred had long been wiped out by the traitorous Shuzan, and his bodyguard Azepael had long since disappeared.
His mind was filled with thoughts that had never come to him before.
Was I being foolish?
Am I just not strong enough?
Should I have treated them better?
Corvus snickered sarcastically to himself. How pitiful I am. One who strove so headstrong towards greatness will be taken by the desert, forever lost.
He wasn't aware when his knees gave way and he plummeted to the ground. The warmth of the sand against the side of his face was the last thing he felt before he descended into darkness.

Who are you?
The voice resounded through the void, echoing endlessly across plains unknown. A small speck of light could be seen in the distance; he reached out to it, but as hard as he tried it remained unreachable.
Who are you?
The voice droned on endlessly, each echo bringing a spike of pain in the back of his skull. He covered his head with his arms to banish it away.
"What is this?! What do you want from me?!"
Who are you?
A figure came into view; a woman veiled in light, unknown yet familiar. She had a pained expression on her face, yet her voice was solid and resolute. He knew this woman to be Saya, the spirit that was fused with his body, apparently the physical incarnate of his power.
"What is this, Saya?! What is happening?!"
I know not of this Saya. You have not answered the question. WHO ARE YOU?!
Memories flowed back into his mind like what felt like the pouring of liquid metal; a horrid burning sensation as what seemed like the life of another person fusing with his. A farm in the countryside, a man in which he called his father, siblings of which he knew nothing of, and the portrait of his mother who died giving birth to him. A woman who's beauty seemed otherworldly, as if she were not human at all.
His eyes widened with sudden realization. He looked up to the one who called herself Saya, whose remorseful expression had now turned to a comforting smile.
Who are you....my son
With renewed strength that he didn't know he had, he reared back and bellowed into the void. "I am Corvus Xalelm, first of the Two Hundred, protector of the bound blades and keeper of the Blade of Light! Broken away from the power hungry Khaev Empire as they strove for dominance, I answer to no one!"
The womans smile grew wider, yet her presence began to fade into the darkness. "You have passed your final test, Corvus. May you find the strength to do as you see fit."

Corvus opened his eyes with a start; he was standing upright at the bottom of a sand dune, which was now shrouded with the darkness of the night. His body was illuminated with the aura of light; his black leather garments were replaced by a bright fabric that was soft yet firm. Velve Del Ssussun was drawn an shining brighter than it ever had before, as if the final piece of the puzzle had finally fallen into place.
He put a hand to his face; tears were rolling down his eyes for the first time they had in many years. How could I have forgotten? What a fool I've been... He smiled slightly as he embraced the memories of his long lost family. 200 years had passed since they had died, and yet he remembered them as clearly as ever. It was as if they had been with him this whole time, just waiting for him to realize they were there.
Corvus wiped his tears away, his expression becoming stern. Time to get back to what I left behind. A darkness rose in the west, one quite familiar to Corvus. Without a second delay, he set off towards Corsa, following the winds that guided him along his path.
