Blood Moon Open and Accepting

Hallo, this roleplay is for the anime/manga series, Vampire Knight. We aren't going to go with the plot because that's just taking the fun out of everything.

Well now that that's said, here's some info.

In Vampire Knight, vampires can have children among themselves and with humans, and they age, albeit at a much slower rate than humans. Vampires are nocturnal and they dislike sunlight, but exposure to it does not harm them. They are likewise immune to most of the traditional vampire weaknesses such as crosses, garlic, and holy water. They can also regenerate quickly and easily when wounded, therefore making them very hard to kill unless a weapon made especially for vampire hunting is used. An example of a vampire weapon is a gun called "Bloody Rose". In episode 6, an example of a bullet that contains anti-vampire magic can also be used to kill a vampire.

Vampires organize their society based on the purity of their blood. Level A are the Purebloods - a very small but very powerful minority. Only a bite from a pureblood can change a human into a vampire. Pureblood siblings sometimes marry each other to keep the bloodline pure, which is not a rare practice. Level B refers to Noble vampires with advanced powers. Ordinary vampires make up Level C, by far the largest group. Level D consists of vampires who were once human; they are a small group, as turning humans into vampires is forbidden and only a handful of pureblood vampires would dare to. The final designation, Level E, is separated from the others because it is reserved for former human vampires who have become violently insane. Falling to Level E is considered the inevitable fate of all former human vampires, who can never completely accept their vampiric instincts and their need for blood. A Level D vampire can prevent itself from ever becoming a Level E if they drink the blood of the Pureblood that bit them. Level D or E vampires are left in the care of Level B vampires and purebloods, so they can keep them in check.

Vampires have warred with human vampire hunters for centuries, though the existence of vampires, and the war itself, is kept secret from most humans.

Note: you don't have to know the series to make your own character, but so you don't get confused or something, there are two classes, the Night Class and the Day Class. The Day Class is unaware of the secret of the academy, the Night class is all vampires. the only students who know this are Zero Kiryuu, Yuuki Cross, and of course the Night class. even though that may be the case, OC's can eventually find out tis little skeleton of the academy's closet. :3

A cold glare was given to a few girls trying to get around the white haired perfect. He snapped at the one who complained, "You people need lives! all you do everyday is yell' kya kya kyaa!' over some snob nosed brats all day!" One of the girls gasped at his words of harshness and another said, "you're so mean Kiryuu!" and then they ran off. they were probably going to go and try to break through Yuuki's poor defenses. As one could tell, the student was not in a good mood today, worse than usual. Seeing that there was no one around, he slipped a hand into his coat to pull out the small black box with a design in red which was also upon the side of his neck and slipped out a couple of pills which read, BL-XXXV06E. They were blood tablets, why would he need such a thing? Because he wasn't human, well he used to be, but not ever since an incident four years ago when the madly blooming princess had attacked his family. Just as he thought of putting it in his mouth he started to choke at the disgusting thought of them. He leaned his shoulder against a tree for support as a pale hand clapped onto the red glowing tattoo of the ex-human. As someone would guess by his actions, yes, he was a vampire. but not any normal vampire, he was a low level one, one that would eventually fall to level E, or 'The end'.

That meant that he would loose all sanity and recognition of friends and foe. Suffering of an unquenchable hunger until as one could assume, killed. the girl named Yuuki that was mentioned earlier, was someone whom knew of his condition. she was also the one which always backed him into a corner, forcing him to drink her lifeblood. He hated how he could never refuse the fact that he needed her blood, such a pathetic beast he always called himself. He despised himself, and had even asked Yuuki to abandon him, but why did she refuse, because they were friends? That made no sense to him, but that was because of his hate for vampires. He continued to stand there, trying to steady his breathing, eyes closed and unaware if the Night class students were already out of there dorm area.

"Stay back!" Come the voice of Yuki Cross, blowing her whistle crazy, as she tried to hold back the stampede of girls, who went coo-coo for the Night class. Yuki couldn't blame them, but really? Who would be this obsessed over them, she knew their secret, and intended to keep it. Sure she had a crush on one of the Night class students. But she never admitted it. But then again it wasn't to hard for some one to figure out her little crush on the class president. Kaname Kuran. The person that saved her life. Yuki looked around desperately, for Zero, wasn't he here a minute ago? Where'd he go! Yuki huffed in aggravation.

Yuk felt something bad at the pit of her stomach though. Was Zero okay, she was a worry wart a lot of the times, but she couldn't help it. Glancing around, at the gates began to open. She wanted to find Zero to make sure he was fine. Perhaps Kaname could sort this out of his own. How she felt bad for leaving him with all the work, but all the girls seemed to willingly listen to him, since they fell head over heels for the guy. "Just this once" She muttered, as she disappeared into the crowd of girls as she fought her way through them, managing to get her self elbowed in the cheek, and hit in the side. "Oww!" She moaned, rubbing her cheek.

Surprised she could make it out of the crazy crowd. She practically kissed the ground beneath her feet. Yuki ran off, well around the place. Surely Zero couldn't have gone that far, he was only there a second ago. "Zero!" Yuki called randomly, looking through the tree's. "Zero!!!" She called again, desperate to here his voice. Yuki could here the crowd of girls were she stood, going crazy. Aido probably showing off, or probably complaining how the discipline comity not being there to save their buts. The girls probably ripping their clots off buy now. Yuki would smile of let out a giggle, but her mind fixed on the current situation. "ZERO!".

Zero's ears perked at the girls voice which called his name. It was none other than the always worried brunette, Yuki. He sighed as the slipped the small black box inside his coat, shaking his head. the hunger attack had passed for now, but he knew it'd be back. Probably sometime in the night before he took a shower or went to bed. his vampire instincts always had liked night time, go figure. Yes, Zero was a vampire, but nothing like the ones in the night class. He was once human, but the incident from four years ago was the one that changed his mortal life forever. The pure blooded princess, Shizuka Hiou had slayed his family. Why? because his family, which was of Vampire hunters, had killed her loved one and she saw it fit to get revenge. The white haired boy was the only known survivor, his younger twin brother, Ichiru was grouped in with the deaths. That woman had bitten Zero, thus turning him into a vampire, it was painful and very slow, thus making it worse for him. He despised vampires to the core, also meaning that he hated himself for being such a monster.

He straightened himself and wiped whatever perspiration had formed with his sleeve from his always pale forehead. He thought it a little humorous, he was once human and was yet probably even more pale than the dorm leader, Kaname whom was a pure blood himself. The two both had much hatred for each other, and it could even be felt in the air among the human students. Zero turned on his heel in the direction he had heard Yuki's voice and began to stroll over as if he hadn't done anything such as leave while on duty as a guardian. He had both of his hands in his pockets and that somewhat emotionless expression of his on his face.

Yuki, looking around, everywhere for the boy, she was growing tired of his disappearance. He couldn't have gone far! Yet he would seem like the hide and seek expert. She started looking in the stupidest of places, behind a small bush, of some skinny trees. Okay, You could probably see a guy as tall as Zero hiding behind a small bush. but a tree!? Yuki was getting that desperate to find the boy, she was groaning impatient. Well Yuki would assume he was tall. Because... well she was completely short. She grumble to her self. Standing in the middle of no were. as she rested her hands on her hips, looking around her self.

Suddenly, she saw someone approaching. Putting her hand, resting them so that the suns rays would be blocked so that she could see the figure more better. "Zero!" She said happily, though stopping her self from tackling him to the ground. Indeed she was happy he was fine, yet he was his old self once more. Cold, distant looking, she could shudder under his gaze. It was so still, emotionless. She wondered if he ever blinked! She remembered the first time she ever saw him. His eyes, full of hate. They were so beautiful, just once she would wished to see happiness shine, but alas, she was in doubt it would ever happen.

But who said Yuki was the one to give up. She'd make him smile one day whether he'd like it or not. Her face turned into a frown as she ran up to him, hitting him in the stomach about three times, but not enough to hurt someone like him. "You left me to deal with the crazy girls! Why do you always disappear when i need you!" She whined angrily, looking at him with a pouty face. "Gosh!" She said stomping her foot on the floor. "Now common" She said grabbing the sleeve of his, as she began dragging him back to the gate, making sure the girls weren't going to crazy.

"Just one day, I'd wish you'd help me out" She continued her chatter over Zero's attitude. But she could tell he probably zoned off by now blocking out her voice. Though Zero probably couldn't see it, since Yuki was facing forward, there was a smile planted on Yuki's lips. Sure Zero could be a pain in the butt, but at the end of the day she still thought he was good friend to her.

Just as she had assumed, he had started to zone out and ignore her little lecture. Zero looked to see that the night class had survived the onslaught of the screaming fan girls, which too were leaving the scene. Even though Yuki complained about him leaving and out helping her out, that was somewhat a lie. Him leaving when he felt like he was going to become bloodthirsty was protecting her, thus assisting her in some way. A sigh passed through his lips as his amethyst eyes wandered about their surroundings, trying to keep them off her neck. He always found himself gazing at her neck and it made him feel even more so disgusted with himself. The frown and constant scowl remained on his face as she pulled him along, he didn't have anything to say. Not that he ever said much anyway unless it was something important, really. Once she let go and got distracted, he would probably run off to Lily's stable and try again with those damn tablets.

Even though they couldn't do anything for him, he would rather make pathetic attempts to eat them instead of feeding no Yuki's blood. Like he had told her before, her giving him her blood was nothing more than fake blood to him. He supposed it was better than falling to level E right away, but he still refused when told.

As they approached the gate, Well Yuki willingly went there, all the while, dragging poor Zero along with her. The girls more a less gone, to their dorms, a Probably Kaname ordering them to do so. Some were chatting away in front. But upon seeing Yuki and Zero approached, they scrambled to their dorms. All was left was for Yuki to lock up and such. She finally stopped her grip on Zeros sleeve, as she turned around and smiled to him. "Time for patrol" She said happily. Of course this wasn't really the best of jobs to be having if you have school as well. Being as this job practically lasted all day and night, not much time to sleep!

But Yuki did this for the headmaster, Her adoptive father. It was the least she could do, for him taking care of her. Though Yuki was known to have bad grades, since majority of the tie she's in class... she tends to sleep a lot. But so did Zero! So she wasn't alone. She really needed a tutor or something though. Missing out on all the lessons, wasn't really the best way to get through those upcoming tests. Yuki thought on the happier side of things. In her thought, she wasn't really paying attention for a moment, but soon regained it after a while.

"I guess I'll see you later?" She questioned Zero with a smile. Usually work was done better when splitting up, more ground was easily covered. "Don't get into any trouble while i'm gone!" She teased, though he probabley just shrug it off. "Why can't you smile just once" She muttered, not intending for him to hear it. As she turned her back to him, walking up to the gates, and locking them up.

Zero blinked which seemed to be a rarity according to Yuki. He turned the opposite direction of her and raised a long arm waving as he walked away saying, "Yeah yeah... same goes for you..." Those were probably the first words he had spoken all night. As he wandered about the school grounds aimlessly and scratching the back of his white head for no apparent reason he listened for any giggles of fan girls. Honestly, why would anyone ever make such a big deal about a group of people? He let yet another sigh come from him as he looked up at the sky. The only real lighting around there was what was coming from the moon, even though it itself didn't give off any light. He returned his gaze to the area in front of him and returned to patrolling the area, getting closer to the building in which those beasts were currently inside of. He hadn't ever witnessed what kind of class, but not that he would be caught dead in there, but there was still a small amount of curiosity for the Ex-human.

He had heard Yuki ask why he never smiled, how could she was his question. She had no memories so how could she be so cheery? He thought it better to have memories than none at all, but that was just one of his hidden and quiet thoughts in which he kept to himself. the perfects life was very stressful, not because he hardly got sleep, but because of this whole vampire thing. Headmaster was insane, probably even more than a Level E! He was trusting a bunch of blood craving animals attend a school full of their prey for crying out loud! Just thinking about it made him full of animosity especially the day he met Kaname. The three were having dinner and then Yuki dragged him in the dining room. Zero grabbed a knife, charged, and stabbed the pureblood in the arm, thus making himself known to the vampire. The boy had left the room and went into his own, had a small confrontation with Yuki and thats where Zero ended his little flashback.

Mking sure the gates were secure, she heard words from Zero who wondered off, but only made her smile. "That's Zero for you" She spoke to her self happily. Growing dark as it was, she looked up at the sky, seeing if the stars were coming out yet. Yes the night was peaceful. Well most of the time when you just walking around, and everything's in order. Then she can take her time to watch the sky. Count the stars, make pictures of them... it let the time fly by quickly, so that was a little hobby of hers. Just like Zero, she wondered off around the school grounds, randomly. She wondered why they never went inside the school at night.

Well night class students were studying inside, they were always stationed outside. But you could hear some noise inside. It was a little chilly outside tonight though, even the school cloths she had on failed to protect her from the cold winds that blew through her body. Wondering, she found her self at the top of the roof, of the school. She hummed to her self quietly, it seemed that this night would be just another peaceful night. All the girls seemed to be at bay for the night. That was a close call before when those two girls were outside the dorm.

Aido, and his cousin found their way to the seen quick in a flash. Bother Yuki and one of the girls were bleeding attracting them... Yeh that was annoying, having to get rid of the girls memory's, returning them to their dorm. Even Kaname come to the scene. Yes things happened, but were dealt with. Yuki come to the edge of the building, looking over. She sat her self down, as her feet dangled from the ledge. She looked around, almost innocently, her big, chocolate curious filled eyes, taking in every detail of her surroundings. her feet going back and fourth.

A little rest wouldn't do her any harm.

It didn't seem like the girls of the school would be causing any trouble tonight, not that they really caused much anyway, and the perfect had let himself stray away from 'work' to where he usually stayed. The stables, with the 'wild' horse, Lily. He pet her snout with one of his hands while the other remained concealed in his pocket. He said to the horse, "I wonder if it's sad that I talk to you more than humans..." He sighed it was probably because she couldn't saw anything to anyone, well anything they would understand unless the person could magically talk to animals. But then again, vampires existed so why not? He decided to take a nap among the silence since he felt as though he had nothing else to do. He plopped down on the newly cleaned hay which was surprisingly comfortable and leaned back till he was lying upon it. His fingers laced behind his head, serving as a pillow of sorts and he could feel the corner of the little black square in his coat poking at him. He frowned as he stared at the ceiling, he supposed he would have to try again but what he couldn't understand is why his body had to refuse them.

Yuki, leaned over the wall a little ore, thinking she saw something, but it was probably just some sort of animal, fox? maybe? Leaning forward to much, she lost her balance, falling off the side. "Gah!" She sort of shrieked, thinking she was going to fall. But luckily, her hand caught the edge before she fell. Her fingers, grasping the cement of the wall, having scrapped it a little. Yuki was sweating nervously, as she looked down. With all her strength, she pulled her other hand to the wall, pulling her self up, quickly as possible. Her hair fell over her face, her heart beating three times faster then it was. Yuki laid out on the roof, her arms legs spread out, as her breathing calmed. "That was close" She muttered.

She fixed her hair, so she could see properly. "Note to self, stay away from edges" She muttered, remaining on the roof. She looked at her hand, a small scrape, just a paper cut, it was nothing to attract anyone, she took no notice of it. She let out a little yawn. Her hand fiddled with her necklace. She felt her eyes drooping a little. little by little. "Just, a" she yawned, putting her hand over her mouth. "Nap" She muttered, closing her eyes, as she relaxed on the solid floor.

Zero yawned and covered his mouth. "Well, I guess I should get going before Yuki comes looking for me..." He said to himself as he stood slowly, brushing off whatever hay had clung to him and his clothing. He made sure Lily was tied up for the night and exited from the stable door and began to walk towards the academy main building again. just as he was about to go inside he noticed something shine a little by one of the walls. He walked over to it and noticed it was Yuki's staff, Artemis. he picked it up gingerly, flinching slightly as he felt a small electric-like shock as it disagreed with him holding it. well he figured since it was there that she was on the roof. did she not notice it wasn't strapped to her leg like usual? This normally wasn't his thing to do but he climbed a tree that was pretty close to the building and jumped. He almost didn't make it but blinked, small surprise coming across his face as he saw the sleeping figure of the girl perfect.

He knelt down and extended his hand towards her, pausing as he stopped himself from staring at her neck and shook his head, shaking her a little afterwards. He spoke in his somewhat quiet and smooth voice, "Yuki, wake up , you'll catch a cold out here..." He removed his hand and set Artemis on the cement ground beside him as he awaited her to open her brown eyes.
