Welcome to Gaia! ::

Rig stared dumbstruck at the tall figure. What the … ? But no good answered came to his mind, or at least not ones he wanted to accept. Now was not the time to ponder about the tall figure standing next to him.

Rig addresses the Captain quickly, “We have a problem. That fool Lubbar has pissed off some N.E. personal and now they request service here. As much as I would love to turn them away, this port is a neutral one and denying them access here will only give you away that much more.” Rig stared at the Captain. He wished he could ream into her about the state she let this ship get in. But for later. “There’s a back lot. We just need to move …her…” An eyebrow twitches. “…there.”
"Him," she corrected almost immediately. "This way to the bridge," the captain started down the hall in a run, unknowing to the two shadow she had, Keaya and Kuro. What worried her was her crew, and getting them here safe and sound. Especially without attraction attention, not that might be a problem. She was panting by the time she got to the lift. That was when she was followed in by Keaya and Kuro. "I thought I told you two to stay put... oh well, just don't touch anything on the bridge," Raven said as Rig joined them and the lift doors shut, taking them to the level the bridge was on. As soon as the doors were open Raven rushed out of the lift, jumped the rail, landed on her feet in at running start, and was in the pilot's chair in a matter of a second or two. "Gale start me up," Raven called out hitting several switches and buttons. The engines came online, their purr could be heard outside the ship as it prepared for launch.
Rig had noticed the two...things. And HIM?!?! Him? The ship was a he? All this time singing and cooing to it...oh man....Rig shuddered at the thought.

This day was just odd, to put it lightly. As the Captain started up the ship, Rig could hear that the purr of the engines was off.

"Whoa whoa! Take it easy! Sh--He's not fully repaired, and there was heavy damage to the thrusters."
"Don't tell me what to do," Raven snapped before quickly adding, "Just where to go." She got the Grey Gale hovering in the dock, if it was one thing no one, not even Gale, could deny it would be this young Fitzroy's flying abilities. She had the knack for flying, if she did not the Grey Gale would not be around at all. Then again, she could be a little reckless but truth be told she loved the Grey Gale... just not Gale so much. She swore that Gale went through mood swings like a human woman during that particularly painful week every month.

The two looked at the new man first, examining him the same way they had the Capitan--like predators. They, nonetheless, weren't inclined to follow orders--they had no real reason to at the moment. Standing there doing nothing wasn't a very good way to keep them entertained--if they didn't have anything to do, they would most likely get in trouble...
The customer is always right, Rig sighed in his own mind. The poor Grey Gale. Though, as the Captain started to sail the ship, he could sense her abilities to fly and most importantly, her connection to the ship. As the ship hovered there in the dock, Rig couldn’t help but feel some connection with the Grey Gale. Just…well, he'll think about that he/she thing of the ship later.

“It’s just around the back side of the tavern. You’ll have to exit, then make a half circle starboard and once I tell Mey, you should see the hanger. It’s old, but hidden well.”
"Gale call this Mey person for the gent, will you?" She concentrated on getting the ship out of the hanger and maneuvering the Grey Gale without doing further damage. As for the twins well, she did not know about their doubt to her yet or rather to her wallet. The bridge itself was nice and sleek and had a lot of flashy buttons and panels. Once clear of the hanger she made the half circle starboard as Mey's voice could be heard over the bridge intercom.

Eventually, the boys got bored and wandered off again probably to become lost or something. Eventually, the boys found their way back to the storage room-their apparent home for the moment. They had been up all day for a while now--a few days in fact. So, both slumped against the wall and leaned on each other, eventually going to a sitting position and falling asleep.

(Sorry but I've got to got for the night. See ya.)
(( Night! Sleep well ))
"Yes boss?"

Rig: "We are ready for the hanger Mey. Lower the field and rise 'er up"

"Right away boss."

As the Grey Gale approached the back of the tavern, anyone near a window could see a hologram of a ‘sand lake’ disappear and two huge metal hangers opening to the sky as a large circular platform raised into the air. Well, not those in the tavern. Their windows had a nice hologram displaying the same picture they just saw a few minutes ago. This hanger truly was in mind for the blackest of the black market in Misfit territory.
"How nice, fit for a princess," Gale's voice sounded sarcastic from over the bridge intercom. Raven muttered her favorite of curses and guided the Grey Gale smoothly onto the hanger platform. With everything in order, landing gears down, no major damage added to the power supply or thrusters, and the platform starting to go down again into the safety of the secret hanger The young woman started shutting down the systems again. "I have to tell my crew we've changed. Duncan should be on his way back here by now," she said talking to herself mainly.
“And I suggest you don’t go into the tavern here either. I’ll be sending the buggers there.”

Over the intercom Mey was requesting Rig to return to the control center. Although Rig had a lot to talk about with this Captain and her…interesting…ship and interesting collection of children, that would have to wait for later.

As Rig marched into the control room, the image of a pristine N.E. Officer snapped on the overhead screen. “Do I need to remind you that you are messing with the Neo-Earth Empire, and if you cannot dock us now, I’m afraid there will be a warrant of inspection over your heads.”

Rig composed himself. “Ma’am, you are free to dock. I do apologize for the delay. We have a back up of ships to repair and it took some time to pay the captains off to move their ships.”

“Misfit ships perhaps?”

“Well you are in Misfit territory Ma’am,” Thinking to himself: What a dumb question to ask. Continuing on: “And this dock belongs neither to the N.E. nor the Misfits. And might I remind you of the courtesy procedures here.”

The Officer did not look appreciative.

“Right. Well, suppose I’ll make this easier. Since your ship is the biggest I’ve ever had to dock, I’ll request your crew to not be in the port while my team and I are working. You are free to stay at the west pavilion of our tavern—“

The image snapped off and a black screen was left behind. Before being allowed to finish explaining his policies to the Officer, the N.E. Battle Claw started her docking.

Rig let out a deep, annoyed sigh.
Great, she lost them, but Gale insisted that their were not getting into trouble and right now she could not deal with them. Too many problems, too little time. "Duncan and the crew first. Right, Gale send out a warning to all the crew about the dogs in port," she got up from the chair and walked over to the life at Gale confirmed sending the warning out.

A few minutes later and Raven was walking down the corridor in the Trade and Stay, avoiding any N.E. personal. After all, you she may be but well known amongst Misfit Hunters. Freedom! She thought once she stepped outside onto the hot, muggy, crowded streets of Garguron. She'd be safe for a bit, N.E. had little power here and the Misfits nearly all. On the ground, things like power leveled out between the Misfits and N.E.
James looked around expectantly at the horizan awaiting the mining strip to come into view. It had just warmed up enough for them to leave the drop ships and all they had seen for an hour had been the sand dunes. The boys were way to excited to be kept waiting that long, Hell so were the girls. So they sat and waited all of them wanting to blow shots in the air but couldnt due to the cloak around them. James was beginning to drift into sleep when suddently the mining strip came into view at an alarming speed as the flew towards it. The capatin gripped his blasters and aimed them at the defense grid just before a huge array of lights were shot out as the crew began firing at the automatic lasers when promptly began to explode in a firey inferno which raine ddown on the workers. Someone shot a grenade at the electricity wall infront of them and the battery exploded just before the speeders blasted through them. James jumped and rolled to the side ready for his first target. He spotted a guard with a blaster shooting at one of his men and marked this man as dead as he rolled beneath him and brought his blade into the mans stomach spilling his innards before shooting him in the head numerous times. He jumped over a man at a turret and decapitated him mid-air before using his body as a human shield to advance on the retreating cowards. He heard gun shoots in the mines meaning his spies were doing there job which he hoped meant the bombs were placed. Finally the carnage was over and the surrendered miners were brought to the mines. " Well good catch everybody now take what we came for and close the mines," He saw the horrified miners faces and added " Oh and yes, you will be in them," When the bombs exploded there was a massive shack as he looked at his plunder. Priceless alien artifacts and ancient writings. He looked in awe at his stash and new there would be good drinking tonight. " Everyone saddle up and get ready to go before the fuzz come we need a place to pawn this s**t of before we get anything out of it," He was thinking of getting a new ship with this since the Norad II was wanted in every sector of the Galaxy. As they rode back all he could think of was money. And broads. And refreshing adult beverages.
The Norad II pulled in to the Trade and Stay. The ship needed parts and repair after being gone six months of pure looting, killing and pillaging. James also needed a quick place to get rid oft he valuables in his cargo hold. Those mining planets had proving to be quite worth the effort if he can get full price on these. The ship pulled in and the engines died as it landed since on the way back She had been in a tussle will an N.E. ship. The Norad was heavily armed and She felled it even with her down torpedo systems using only Her main cannon. As they left the ship to go sell the things James sent out some boys to get the liqour for the "festivities" and others to get more girls. He smiled as he thought of tonight. However he lost the smile when he noticed his ships smoldering frame.
