Welcome to Gaia! ::

He smiled as he touched the sensitive controls of his ship. The ship he flew was one of a kind pieced together from Lubber's parts he was willing to trade for jobs. He pulled up next to a N-E ship. He enjoyed the two day journey over to the port. It was the biggest one and the one with the most creds to be made. It was absolutely amazing that the N-E hadn’t militarized this area. As he was walking into Lubber's shop. He took the package out of the small cargo hold and snuck over. He slid into the shop and said "Hey Lubber I have a gift. Now I need more insta-soder a 128 bit data tube, and that board for my ships control. “He sat down and waited for him to bring out what Anndra had requested.

((Something tells me that Chris and Duncan might become good drinking buddies in the near future! xD ))

"Star Buster, ma'am?"
"Sure." Chris agreed, with a lesser enthusiastic voice than she had been aiming for, but hey. She was feeling rather uncomfortable.
"Right then miss. Should be re'dy in 'bout few minutes." With a nod, she went to take the order into the kitchen, where all sorts of animal cries and baning noises could be heard.
Chris shifted in her seat, her eyes still fastened onto the clock hanging above the wall. Only twenty minutes had passed. Twenty minutes! Heaving a heavy sigh, she exhaled and let her eyes linger around.
(( Lol! Yeah, that'd be an unexpected event. ))

The cat-like women who stayed in their statue like pose suddenly moved, doing their little dance before returning to pose with Raven walking down the three steps that lead up to the wall. The music was turned up to drown out the cries from the kitchen. The young captain smiled and made her way, almost dancing, across the dace floor. "Big mohla, good music, and a nice hard drink. What could be better?" She reached the bar and joined Duncan by his side picking up the glass with a purple liquid and olives on a stick in it. "Locksley bought, the crew will be happy," she took several large gulps of the hard alcohol before eating one of her three olives off the stick that came with her glass.

"Enough to cover expenses and pay?" Duncan asked looking forward at the bottles that lined the shelves behind the counter.

There was a slight rustle underneath a canvas cover in the storage room of the Grey Gale. Two lumps protruded where they shouldn't in the canvas though soon enough a clawed hand appeared on the edge on the sheet. The cover was thrown back to reveal two children--not exactly friendly looking ones though. Their eyes, unusually colored, glanced about the room curiously though observantly. One, the left one, got up and hopped out of the container while the second followed. Both figured that enough time had passed and it was time to explore. Wild, frizzy and long black hair covered both of their heads and shoulders. Skinny completions and angular features accompanied by various scratches, markings, claws on their hands and feet, toothy smiles made them look like things from a fairy tale meant to scare children. They probably would. One glanced at the other before the left one proceeded in opening the door. Neither wore a thing with the exception of ragetty pants.
He waited and when Lubber came out he looked at the merchandise. "Thanks. This is good stuff. So watch out. There is an N-E ship and it looks like trouble." He smiled and slapped the boy on the shoulder "I know they are. But I screwed them on a deal. I got them good." This made Anndra very uncomfortable. He left and went back to his ship. He then proceeded to run the new chip from the Navigational panel. He installed it to the top right corner of his ship. It would let him detect things that normally would be cloaked. After that he ran the data tube from it to the holo-screen and soldered it in place. After that he turned on his ship. It worked okay but he needed a 75GHZ power cord and some Mellia, a common metal used for power, so he could cause a reaction so he could boost power to it so he would have a better result. He walked down to the bar and ordered his drink. Normally he couldn’t order but the age for Aurioun had a younger drinking age. He took the drink, it left a hot burning taste, in his mouth and knocked it back. He saw a person, by the looks of her she was a misfit, and she was knocking back a Star Buster. He walked over and said "I need something and you look like you have it, may I sit?"

But looking more closly he saw something that gave her away. She was a member of the N-E. He couldnt help but say "Nevermind." He said quitely and moved away. He saw a ship on the way back called the Gray Gale. He moved toward it fascinated. Walking into a entrance hatch he said "Hello anyone home?"
Now the Grey Gale was a special ship, considered an outdated model however. Why? The spaceship had an A.I. system that was almost... alive? Yes, alive was the right word. And the A.I. went by the name Gale. He, yes he, projected himself thanks to special sensors in the halls. They were everywhere in the ship except private areas. "Oh my, stowaways have come out of hiding," the ship picked up the two extra life signs. The ship projected itself as a realistic hologram that appeared in the shape of a tall, fair skinned, elderly human man with grey hair cut short. he wore a black suit jacket, a grey button up shirt, black slacks, dress black shoes, and no tie. The hologram formed before the twins. "What are you doing here?" Gale asked putting his hands on his hips and looking at them sternly.

Raven finished off her olives, "Yuppers. And pay well too." She set the stick down and turned to face the dance floor. She loved to dance, and the dark haired woman debated now whether she should go dance on the crowded floor with the other Akuda patrons.

The twins screwed up their faces in slight surprise and terror at the hologram. Then, not a second later, bother sets of clawed feet could barely be heard darting the opposite direction as the hologram. They cast tentative glances back at the thing as they ran--gods they were quick. If you had been there not a second before you've never even knew they were there. That is if you ignored the annoying ship talking to them. They ran through the halls of the ship, swiftly dodging two people who, a second after the two were gone, had no idea whatsoever what had just occurred.
"Oh bother! They ran!" Gale frowned and sighed, what to do now? Then an idea popped into his mainframe. Let the dear, dear captain deal with it. Not that he didn't like Raven, he simply felt that he belonged in more experienced and capable hands. The hologram disappeared as Gale, in the sensors now, attempted to keep track of the two... its.

The two ran on for a few more seconds, finally reaching an area that looked similar to the mess hall though there was no way to be sure. Exchanging glances both gave a sigh of relief that the thing had gone. Neither had a clue what that was back there, nor what a hologram was, but they clearly didn't like it. Leaning against he wall now, the left one, Keaya, looked at the right one, Kuro. They seemed young, probably boys seeing as they had flat chests--though there was no way to be sure. Scratch that. There was, but you'd lose your hand first if you even tried it. What now?
Gale scanned their bodies, and to the ship's dismay he found the reading to be unreliable. "If you're hungry," the A.I.'s voice came over the intercom speakers for that area, "Feel free to snack away." The automated doors swished open showing a relatively large room with rows of metallic benches and a counter with a set of doors to the left of them on the far wall. The mess hall was empty, free for the plundering if so desired.

Raven handed Duncan the grey card, it was the standard way of getting money transferred. "I'm going to go unwind," she said with another playful smile to Duncan who shook his head.

"Be careful, cap'in," he said as she walked away and pushed her way through the crowded dance floor. Out there he didn't have any direct sight of her, which made him worry form time to time. He turned back to the bar and ordered another drink having finished his first.

((Added))
Back on the Grey Gale, the ship's sensors picked up yet another person. The ship projected before the newest intruder the hologram appearence of Gale. "Who are you?" he asked, somewhat snooty, it wasn't that lovely mechanic back to polish him, oh bother.
"I am interested in a item I think you could get me. I am willing to let you in on some good news on the
N-E. " He smiled and said " I want to trade Melli for information. And I want a power cable. And the information is amazing. Send the captain out and we can talk more." Thinking about the offer made, made him smile more. If he could let them be on Eyes Only then they might be able to bring good business for him. Especially if it was endorsed by misfits.

The boys looked less than happy that another voice had appeared. They glanced around quickly and nervously, giving glances to the ceiling mostly though to the walls and floor too. Eventually they proceeded through the doors, eyes glancing around to the tables, counters, then to the kitchen. Both sniffed at the air, a sweet smell catching their attention. So, obviously, both were curious as to what this could be. Following the smell into the kitchen, both stopped dead when they saw the food. Exchanging grins of mischievousness, both proceeded forwards ans commenced with the ransacking of the kitchen. It was notable that they even ate like animals.
The hologram paused, thena broad smile crossed his face. A chance to spoil that little brat of a captain's "her" time? Ooooo.... the thought made him want to giggle. "Yes sir, right away sir!" Gale was absolutely beaming. "Just step right this way, sir," Gale indicated the corridor to the left, ready to lead the man to the main meeting room onboard. Thanks to the sensors throughout the ship, he could lead the newcommer to the meeting room AND keep tabs on the two Its. Plus thanks to the captain's little "upgrade" he could send her messages at her own expense. Now if only that adorable mechanic would return life would be perfect.

Raven was enjoying dancing when suddenly a sharp pain attacked her skull. It was strong enough to make her stop and saw a few colorful word. She quickly pushed through back to where Duncan was. "Mister Drama Queen is calling, says some one is interested in trade. I'll meet you at the ship later. Cash that and hand out the platnium to the crew, thanks," Raven told her first mate before departing to the ship back at the Trade and Stay.
He followed the hologram to the room and sat down. After it left he looked around. It was an amazing ship. It made him smile. He hoped one day his single person ship could be this amazing. He walked over to a panel and tapped the screen. It came on and he started looking for schematics. He smiled when he found them. It more wonderful than he thought. This ship was on the cutting edge. They could provide him with more than what he wanted. He also looked down a list of stuff in storage. He noted a few things then sat down and waited.

Soon enough, both of them were full to their hearts content--that being most of the meat and bread aboard--raw meat or not. Poor cooks. The two exchanged glances again, though from the point they had entered the ship earlier today during the re-stocking, neither had said a word. They weren't about to start now. The two left the room to wander the halls again, their eyes darting from thing to thing and back again. Somewhat like rats in a maze.
