Welcome to Gaia! ::

(( No, they were just a spy for Xhu. ))

She let out a sigh, something about Fayt made her want to smirk as she lifted her head from the table. "He was running for a reason," she said trying not to give anything away. He only knew enough about her past to use it against her. Unconsiously she moved her right hand to the back of her neck where she still bore the mark of her captivity. With her left hand she picked up the mug and took a sip of the drink.
He looked at his watch and decided to go meet his other source. He needed to know stuff for his broadcast tonight. He went into Lubber's shop and said "Is he here yet? " Lubber came out and said "Yeah he is. " Anndra smiled and walked out into the back. a smartly dressed captain was sitting there. "Well we have a mess here. There are a couple of ships demanding repair, they are looking for a ship know as Grey Gale. The captain , her name is Raven. " Anndra smiled and said " I have met her. I was going to mention it tonight. Now for my pay?" THe captain tossed a bag across the table that contained a odd kind of dust. A dust that could make him a ton of money if he sold it to one of the misfits in the station. He smiled and said "Your credits will be transfered tonight." He got up and left.
He smiled as he watched her drink,"I see..running with a reason...thats usually always the reason is when they know something they shouldn't...but i wont ask any further."He looked to the keeper and raised his mug,the keeper nodded and brought another mug for Fayt.Fayt smiled as he picked up the fresh mug and took a swig, this time savoring the taste of drink. He put the mug down and looked over at Raven,"So then...shall we find something to do or part ways as we always have?"he laughed. He looked outside at the busy streets of the city, thinking back to when he first met Raven.

-memory-
Fayt had just arrived with his new ship, but in need of a crew badly. He roamed the streets in search of a crew, checking every building that had men or woman looking for someone to serve as pirates. He soon found himself at a tavern that played music for others to dance,he walked inside without thinking and looked around."Huh...theres some potential crew members around here...woah whos that??"his eyes landed on Raven,he had no idea the trouble he was going to land himself into next.He walked over to a table and ordered a drink, after a few drinks he got up and walked over to Raven,"Hey there gorgeous..lets say you and me dance?"He figured it would be easy only to find that she was more than what he could handle that day and was teased more than most,he left that place somewhat broken when he relized who it was,but in the end he swore his loyalty to her as others have.
James exited the elevator once again on the first floor. After searching for about 3 hours he had found nothing of intrest on the second floor and the third floor was restricted access. He decided to take a walk inside Garguron. The slums reminded him of his homeland and the brutality he had endured there. Happy times. He decided to relive those memorys by walking down an ally, a bad idea on a regular planet, to see if he could get any fun out of killing backwater thugs. He haerd a noise and was suddenly surrounded by four teenaged boys. Two were human and one was a weak looking green gooey thing but the last one he didnt recognize. He was huge, 7 feet tall, and had way out of poportion arms which hung close to his ankles. He was very muscular but he didnt seem intelligent at all. hes face was like a gorilla and a human and he figured he was some kind of mutation. One boy pressed a gun to his back and the other human smiled at him. James smiled back before turning around quickly while grabbing the arm with the gun and breaking it with his other hand. He kicked the gorilla man, while turning, in the head before grabbing the human boys throat and shotting the green kid in the head with the gun. He did all this in a few seconds and while he was choking the human boy he decapitated the rising gorilla man with his sword and shot the boy with the broken arm. As he dropped the limp boy he'd been chocking he left the alley only to be hit by a running person. He quickly pulled out his gun to demand some respect but he was already down the street. He noticed his N.E. clothes and began in pursuit to find out why an N.E. was down this far in Misfit territory.
Raven set her mug down, she could not afford to over do the drinking, she still has a ship to command. "I hate when personal things end up being used against you," she commented. "You know Fayt, I think you have wised up quite a bit there," she said teasingly with a smile. She would probably head to Akuda to meet up with Duncan and the rest of the crew. She also would have to let Duncan know about the current situation. If that spy talked, well she'd cross that bridge when they got there.

The spy needed to get back to the Commander Xhu. Just think, the famous Captain of the Grey Gale had a weakness and was actually property of the Neo-Earth Empire! That was news indeed.

(( The spy for plot reasons will make it back but feel free to hinder and chase 3nodding ))
"Do you really think so..."he laughed as he finished his mug,"So...whats the true plan now huh.."he put the mug down as well of some Platnium to pay for the drink. He looked outside, drenching himself in so many memories of every since he became a pirate to now."I have climbed so far up the pole...but i wonder...have i climbed to high to fast?"he said aloud even though he was talking to himself. He looked over at Raven curious at first but then removed any thoughts as he looked back outside at the city, just for a moment he had counted 4 victims being pickpocketed. He smiled on the inside but only to hate himself for not being the pickpocketer,he counted quite a bit of money was stolen.
"Aye," Raven listened to his broad casted thoughts, thinking herself. "Well, I stepped into this game and quickly became what i am thanks to my family's blood and past. We are some of the youngest captains around, haven't you noticed?" She would let him ponder that for a bit as she stood. "Thanks for the drink, Fayt, but I should be heading to Akuda. You are welcome to escort this young lady there is you be a true gent," again, she was teasing the other captain. He left himself wide open for the teasing by being so civil and nice.
((I was gonna make him just chase after it and find out what it was doing))
Indeed i have noticed...and sure..ill be more than happy to escort you.."he laughed a bit as he stood up,he couldnt believe he left himself open.He continued to watch his surrounding curious as to who is out there watching them for the N.E. but even so he did not care.He looked at Raven,"So then..shall we go.."he walked out of the cafe and into the streets. There he turned around, facing the cafe and waited for Raven to come out into the light and join him.As he waited he also made sure as to keep alert for any spies that could be watching.

((Im heading out now lata))
(( Alright seeya later then Firu. And you can chase the spy and over heard him talking to someone form the N.E. before going to Xhu 3nodding ))

Raven exited the cafe after leaving a tip for the keeper and joined Fayt by his side. "Enough about me though, how is your business going?" She asked as the made their way together towards Akuda. It had been a long time since she had talked to any of the other captains, especially Fayt. Her recent exploits had been in N.E. territory stealing valuable energy crystals, used to power defense grids for space stations and other artificial satellites. Once thing she needed to improve admittedly was networking allies. Her lack of trust in others hindered this. As captain she trusted her crew to a certain extent but the only person she truly trusted with her life was her first mate Duncan.
((Eli, I can post to you in private message what Xhu asked of you, and you can respond back weather or not she did it. Either way, Xhu is going to carry out his plans razz ))

At exactly 51 minutes and 32 seconds, Rig and his crew finished work on the N.E. Battle Claw. Exhausted, sweaty, and apprehensive to confronting Commander Xhu again, Rig pushed aside all of this to see the Commander and get this dang N.E. ship out of here.

The Commander had been watching Rig the entire time, and when he saw the mechanics taking a break, he checked his watch and decided to go down to the hanger. Dr. Albrooke had parted ways with him not too long ago. If all went well and Dr. Albrooke was successful in her given assignment, the Royal Misfits were in for some big trouble. Before Rig was ready to confront Xhu, two metal doors parted for the tall Commander.

“I am pleased to see you have finished earlier than one hour. I’m impressed.” The Commander spoke.

“I hope you are satisfied with the repairs, sir.” Rig did everything he could not to look Commander Xhu in the eyes.

“Oh, I’ll be more than satisfied.”

The Commander drew out his pistol and aimed it at Rig. Rig’s eyes widened. Things went from bad to worse.

“Your assistance on-board is required.”

Out of instinct, Rig drew out a wrench and took a step forward, locking the wrench and his wrist around the Commander’s own. He was only able to achieve this thanks to surprise. Without another hesitation, Rig twisted the Commander’s arm behind, using the Commander’s own weight to throw him forward. Diligently, Rig removed the pistol from the Commander as Xhu lost balance and fell forward. But not for long. Once Xhu had calculated the attack, he was back in a sturdy stance, not an ounce happy.

Rig held the pistol in a shaking hand. He truly hated these things. Commander Xhu was vulnerable. Rig could shoot him. End this evil man’s life. End it now.

But he couldn’t. Not with a pistol. Never again would he take a life with one of these things. Never. He tossed the pistol far away so that Commander Xhu could not reach it in time. This was a mistake, Rig knew. But he had a promise to keep. And he was a man of honor. And he knew he would suffer greatly for it.

“Now, that is not the type of payment I was expecting,” Rig told Commander Xhu to calm himself down.

The Commander didn’t wait. He hooked a strong right to Rig’s temple, sending him flying. About fifty N.E. soldiers came in with the other mechanics as hostages. The area had been secured. The hanger locked off from the outside world. Surely some Misfits would have intervened the N.E. personal? Right? Rig looked around at the soldiers from his spot on the ground. He wondered where all the Misfits where right now. Or perhaps no one knew? Or worse. No one cared. These were Misfits we are talking about after all. What about the Norad II? Was the crew onboard?

But Rig’s questions could not be answered. Before him stood a terrified Mey. A blaster pistol was digging into her skull. She tried her best to keep calm, but cold tears streamed down her face. It was clear to Rig. They would shoot her if he made any more false moves. He looked around and saw his fellow mechanics. They too all had guns pointed at their heads. If he tried to save Mey, they would be shot. There really wasn’t a way out of this.

Commander Xhu walked over to Rig and lifted the mechanic off his feet and into the air. For the first time they locked eyes and the Commander was shocked for a second. Rig had to look away. It’s too late. He knows. Rig sobbed on the inside. Damn it, he knows.

“Well well well. This is truly my lucky day.” Xhu’s wicked grin spread across his face. “Royal Misfits running amok under my nose, sniffing at my bait. And now I’ve found the lost, prodigal son.” Commander Xhu roared with laughter. He had never been so happy before in his life. He tossed Rig to two of his officers and they locked arms around Rig, their free hand pointing pistols into his back. “Get the girl on board too! Leave the rest for their demise.”

Commander Xhu entered his freshly repaired ship almost with a light bounce to his step. His N.E. officers and soldiers, along with a captured Mey and Rig, followed behind, boarding the ship.

Shortly after, the N.E. Battle Claw launched away from the “Trade and Stay” and out into orbit around the planet of Garguron.

(( GOSH!! I miss to much!!! Oh, the many questions: So, Rig and Mey are Misfits? Xhu wants Chris to do his evil bidding plans of Misfit destruction?

Chris isn't evil, but heck she'll do what Xhu tells her. Not that she'll possibly know of his plans? Maybe that's not for her to decide but, she was hired to work as a doctor! xD Like she knew anything about politics...being the genius she is. She never assumed that the N.E. were the bad guys. The job was offered, so she took it...))

(( Anyways, she made the poison, hehe. Needles. xD ...I say, could I make a cure for that kind of stuff? Since it's deadly and Xhu could do so much with the endless supply of it? ))

***

Chris was aboard ship in her private laboratory, a gallon of thick, liquid blue and grey-ish contents sitting atop a bunsen(sp?) burner and under a fixed lamp. It had not took long to make it really, she had already gone to work, experimenting all the possible ways on how to create a simple substance that could kill...but not just instantly.

"Just one drop of this, and it goes straight to the blood stream..." She told her captain the night before, before she was ordered to pollute the water system. Whatever was he planning to do? And if he was subject on using the formula again in the near future...

Now, the trade and stay was immobilized, and would probably be down for quite a while since Chris had yet to make a countermeasure of some sort.

Take off had just occurred a few moments prior, and it seemed her work was done for now.

(( Gah...short post, aye? >< ))
((hehe, yes! evil plan in motion! Muwahahahahaha! Rig is not a Misfit. He's actually of pure N.E. Military blood. But he calls himself neutral. Mey was the granddaughter to Rig's mechanic master, the original owner to the "Trade and Stay." She's borderline neutral, but believes in the Misfits. And yes, make a cure. Just don't tell Xhu-Xhu. Keep it as a trump card just in case. Chris has been working with Xhu for a long time, and Xhu may even like her xp , however, Chris is very intelligent and has probably noticed this 'evil pattern' in her boss, though may want to deny it.))

((and yes! I have to be gone for the day, but will be back later))

(( WHA-?!?! In terms of "Like"-like, Like-like? Double You Tea Eff, mate. xO ))
(( *giggling because she's enjoying the complicated character links* Hehe, now it could just be like as in "I like you, you can die a quick death!" way of liking. ))

"Thuh cap'in's been gone a long 'ime now," one of the crewmen of the Grey Gale spoke. The crew of about ten to fifteen men and women sat at the large, oval table that occupied the center of one of the many hidden meeting rooms. They had been told to meet there for they would be told where they were going next and any who wanted to jump ship could. Only, Duncan had arrived first and for the past twenty minutes there had been no sign high or low of the captain.

"She'll be 'ere, things got complicated 'n a few 'hings need takin' care of," the first mate of the Grey Gale stated as he slid his thin, rectangular shades down to look the crewman who had spoken in the eyes.
