John nodded and went back to sleep, balling up a shirt he used it as a pillow, he coughed several times as he waited for her to return, he wasn't feeling the greatest but he managed to get back to his feet, walking to her weapon he reassembled it and placed it on the ground. As he sat by the fire.

She went out and got him a bunch of medicine from a nearby hospital. She came back with an entire shopping cart full of food, medicines, bandages, even a radio. She smiled. "Here." she said to him. grinning.

He looked at her and raised his brow. "What has you so happy?" He scooted back from the fire placing his back to the wall looking at the meds.

"Look how much I got!" She said. She then pulled the makeshift bandage off, and put some medicine on it, and wrapped it in gauze.

John winced as she tended his wounds, he groaned lying back for her to work on him. He looked into her eyes and smiled. "I appreciate this." He said with a smile which quickly turned to a grimace. The medication burned the seeping infection. But he knew it was for the better.
