Zephyr remembered nothing of her past, which both worked for her and against her. Most of the time she didn't care about her past, but every so often she felt like a piece of herself was missing. She did not even know her original name, Era. She only knew the name that the demons called her: Zephyr. There were shadows of memories that lingered in the dark recesses of her mind, but she could never manage to grasp them or focus on them. They were left as shadows, dark shadows of their former vibrancy. She couldn't see enough of them to put them together and make sense of them. For that reason she lived in a semi-depressed state. Oddly enough, her depression is what kept her powers under control all those years in the asylum. She had hated it there, and was more than happy to get out now, but she wondered how long her current stability would actually last.
She streets of London had always enchanted her; she loved London. Hyde park was probably one of the few places she truly found peace, and she spent quite a bit of time there. Unfortunately, the presence of so many angels in one place was making her uneasy, destroying the peaceful feeling that the park generally gave her.
She was currently in her human form, sitting on a bench, enjoying the sound of the fountain as it flowed in front of her. Ducks waddled around the pavement and floated in the water. It was times like these that made her feel the most civilized. She let out a quiet sigh, brushing her hair from her face, her gloved fingers brushing against her skin, scratching gently against her scalp.
"I really don't care about them... but I should go and check on them... If they reveal themselves to the humans, what could happen? No telling, but it could get dangerous and messy..." At the thought of blood shed, her heart momentarily jumped with eagerness. She forced herself to take a few deep breaths to calm herself before standing and focusing her senses in the direction of the angels.
I'd best get going... she thought, and started forward, crossing the streets of London at a much faster pace than a normal human could have, thanks to her power over the wind. They are around here somewhere, she thought her eyes narrowing slightly as she focused on the angels.
