Sophia sighed. My mistake, she though to him. Although it would explain a lot of things about you if you were a skater. She stood up on the builing letting the wind run through her wings and her hair flew back behind her. She stepped off and fell straight towards the street, saving herself a few feet before she would of hit. She stepped down onto the street and then leaned against a building again. We going to be leaving anytime soon? She asked Alex with a slight smile across her lips.
Yeah. "Hey, guys, gimme back my stuff!" His hair was ruffled numerous times and looked as if he'd stood in a wind tunnel for two hours by the time he came out of the building again, grinning and shaking his head, a slight laugh in his eyes. "Where y'wanna go, Soph?"

Sophia got off the wall she was leaning against. "Have fun?" She asked with a dry voice. She sighed and put on her jacket again. "Anywhere but here, this noise is doing nothing for me." She said rubbing her temples. "Even though I wasn't in there, you were and it sucked enough to hear it through your head."
"Wanna grab some coffee'n'go home?" Alex suggested, taking up his stride alongside his new Guardian--he had a hard time thinking that to himself, rolled his shoulders and closed his eyes. "Maybe I could scratch out some idea for a poem."

Sophia nodded at the idea, really it was his to make she would follow him wherever. "The choice is up to you." She gave a small smile. "Oh how sweet a poem about me." She said saracsticly.
"No, about the coffee," the boy corrected, smirking as he moved on to the shop, slipped inside, and came out with two to-go mugs.

Sophia shook her head and took one of the coffees. This was one of the few human things she enjoyed, it didn't give her the rush it gave them. But the taste was rather rich to her, she tried all types of coffee during her travels. She studied Alex as they walked this was her first guardian job, she wouldn't fail at it.
Alex looked over at her, rubbing his eyes. "So, what were you before being a Guardian?" He sipped his coffee, strolling across a line of cars without looking and moving up a flight of stairs toward a long aisle that ended in a corner house, fiddling with the keys.

Sophia sighed. "Guess you could of called me a hunter." She said, she was one of three angels that would specially track down demons. The job was hard but she enjoyed it, she saved lives that others couldn't. Sophia smiled remembering her old partners, they were quite the odd couple.
"So, why'd you get reassigned to me?" Alex murmured, sucking his coffee and looking over his shoulder at her as he awkwardly hung up his bag.

"Reasons that are of concern to you." She said looking around. "So this is where you live?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. She never really took her time looking around a home, to her it was quiet warm something she hadn't felt for years.
"Is my obvious lack of coordination one of them?" he wondered as he sat down. "Yep, home, humble, sweet, all that stuff except pie at the moment. Haven't gotten some in a while. So, you want a the bed? And what you wanna eat?"

Sophia smiled soflty. "If I could tell you, I still wouldn't tell you the reasons I was reassigned. Your cooridantion may have something to do with it." She said taking a seat at well. "I am comfertable right now." She finished off her coffee and set the empty cup on the table.

Byruku nodded, then picked up the phone. He walked over to Ren, and handed it to her. Byruku yawned, feeling a little tired. He sat back at the table, and rested his head in his hands. He was thinking about a family again, the one he wanted very badly, the one that he didn't have.

.....And burn to the dead ash left behind.
"Heh. Nailed it." He dropped back on the couch, staring up at the ceiling, letting the scalding liquid run down his throat. "Hope you got to pick me, at least. Mean, it'd suck if you didn' wanna hang around or somethin."
