"Amygdala: Part of the Brain's Limbic system, designated as one of the main emotional control organs.
Infractus: Latin for Broken
Disinhibition: unable to control or suppress impulsive emotions and behavior. Usually caused by damage to the Limbic system.""

Hazelthorne Hospital. It stood for years on top of the hill. It was used for many things. Asylum, Clinic, Hospital, even a fortress in the civil war.
However now Hazelthorne has a new purpose. A privately owned land, the hospital was inherited by a man. A man with a bloodlust. A man with a broken mind.
With permission from the state this man hired and evaluated serial killers to punish criminals.
To kill to their heart's content. However, the state only gave so much money.
Now the Hospital is an easy way to dispose of bodies.
Assassination, Revenge, sometimes even just kidnapping by the serial killers.
The Hospital is now Hell incarnate on earth.
The scary part being, there's nothing supernatural.
Just the darkness of the broken human psyche.
So. Check on in. We'll see if you survive.

1) The Ruler: I am the God of this RP. I will appoint Mod's to watch over when I am not on from time to time.
2) PG-17: Romance is alright, Fighting is alright as well. This is a Horror type RP. BUT DON'T GO OVERBOARD.

✤ Insane Staff Explanation ✤

The serial killers hired by the hospital are given jobs based on the type of killer they are

Doctor: The calling card type of killer. Like the Tarot killer. Usually uses a favorite murder weapon.
Nurse: Methodical, torturing type of killer. Think Freddy Kruegar. Torment then kill.
Guard: The standard killer. No set weapon, sometimes even uses a gun.
Janitor: The nonstop, unintelligent killer. Think Jason Voorhees

✤ Sane Explanation ✤

While the Hospital is used as an execution by the state, it's also used as assassinations and in some cases Serial killer kidnap innocents to torment.

Normal people brought in are considered "patients." Everyone from convicts to mobster's daughters can end up in Hazelthorne.
The Head Doctor prefers to keep it as just convicts and the occasional assassination to ensure
that the hospital does not get shut down, but he can't be everywhere at once.
If you befriend one of the staff your chances of survival are higher.
Just make sure you actually befriended them and it isn't a trap.
The Hospital is old, and some of the staff are careless.
You can find knives, scalpels, lead pipes, fire axes and if you manage to get to the garden shed there's the possibility of a chainsaw. Just remember that the more extravagant the weapon the harder to obtain it is. I don't see a little girl being able to get past all of the staff to get a chainsaw, or to be able to wield it properly even.

Doctor Enan Nathanial Blayke

Nickname: Doctor Galagher, Dr. Sledgehamer, The Skullbuster (all serial killer names)
Age: 21
Gender: male
Weapons: A sledgehammer, and assorted hammers
History: Dark Humored and enigmatic. What is the origin of the man who made Hazelthorne into Hell? A broken family? Issues as a child?
The truth is that Enan had a wonderful childhood. He took woodworking classes and studied old black smithing techniques. He was forced to use a ball peen hammer to fend off a burglar one day. He found that he enjoyed the splatter and gore of it. Slowly his body began to get more and more violent impulses to kill.
Then came the day that he inherited the hospital. He saw a blank canvas that he could paint in blood and gore. He sent in a request to the state, and oddly enough it passed. Now allowed to use his hammers to his heart's content, Enan's dark humor and sadistic nature have only gotten worse.

History: Born with no mother, she had always been raised up by her Psycho Father that loved to kill in one manner. As a Doctor. He taught her everything on how to kill. But she always loved to Torture the best, and cut people left and right. When she tried to get a degree as a Nurse the first time, she failed. And the second time she went back, she had to "persuade" the teacher to give her the degree. After that happened, she came to Hazelthorne when she heard about the rumors there. She became the Head Nurse. When she met Doctor Blayke, one thing led to another and now she stayed there for two reasons. For her cutting, and the man she loves.

She ended up getting worse while she was there and was put in solitary confinement often. Eventuallly they sent her here hopeing it would solve things once and for all.

Weapons: Be it a fire axe or his favored bundle of knives, Maverick is a fan of anything that slices.
History: Maverick had a decent family, lived in a decent home, went to a decent school, had decent health. That was probably why his sudden violent outbreaks or rather, the discovery of them, came as such a huge shock to his family. When his parents could no longer explain his strange behaviour through "hormones", they tried to have him committed. Lovely mistake of theirs. He killed several orderlies, and nearly made his psychologist a permanent mute. Somehow, through all of that, they managed to proclaim him a Psychopath. After being stuffed in a straight jacket and the like, he thought he was being transferred to another asylum. Lucky him, he found himself in the good Doctor's hospital instead.

Nickname: How the hell can you make a nickname out of 'Dax'?!
Age: eighteen

Weapons: Bone saw and needles.
History: Raised by his father, he was constantly on the move as a child, going from town to town. It wasn't until he discovered his father torturing and dismembering a young woman that he realized why they were so nomadic. His father, not wanting him to talk, beat him and threatened him to ensure he stayed quiet. That beating, along with the sight of all that girl's blood, made him develop a rather severe case of dissociative identity disorder. Whenever confronted with copious amounts of blood or simply a situation he can't handle, he morphs into what is essentially a secondary identity. He ended up killing a girl himself one day, to keep her from calling for help and getting his father arrested. Somehow, he and his father went on a father-son killing spree, which ended when his old man was caught and convicted. He was thrown into a children's home, as they didn't think he had any actual part in the killings, from which he eventually escaped. The next while was a little blurry to him as he was constantly switching back and forth between his identities. In the end, he found himself working at Hazelthorne Hospital as a male nurse.

Other: He has a highly addictive personality and tends to flirt (badly) with both other staff members and the "patients". He suffers from dissociative identity disorder which usually triggers when he's deeply troubled, such as when he's encountered with alot of blood.

History: Guile doesn't talk about his past. He's also totally unidentifiable. With his hands burnt and repaired he lacks fingerprints, and his DNA always seems to match different people. He's either a genius or some kind of monstrosity. He doesn't like to talk about his past and hardly talks at all. Any convict that escapes his clutches is still traumatized forever. Only 3 are known.
Before the head doctor sent them to the next life they were catatonic, only able to mutter "the smile" over and over again.
Guile is unstable, and his merciless style made him a shoe in as a Janitor.
Doctor Blake keeps him locked up except for emergencies though.

History: Arissa was adopted when she was two years old. Her mother died during childbirth and her father gave her to an orphanage. Ari later learned that, not long afterward, he'd committed suicide. Her adoptive parents were nice, but they had a 26-year-old son who didn't like having his 13-year-old "sister" hanging around him, so one night he told Ari that he was taking her to a party. Not knowing what it was, she followed him to where his friends were waiting. They beat her until she was unconscious, even though she was thirteen years younger. As soon as she woke up, bloodied and injured, she managed to run away - only to find herself in a hospital she was not expecting.

The convict in orange panicked and ran. Doc smirked, humming a bit. He then started singing.

A young woman with a blood stained nurses uniform walked out of a room. She had a chart in her hand as she was reading it with quick red eyes. Her red hair pulled in a pony tail over her shoulder as she walked down the hallway. She then hears a man screaming, and looks up. Running down the hallway was a patient dressed in orange, most of them had to wear it. But right behind him was Doctor Blayke, and she gave a slow smile at the sight of him. She moves to the side to let the man run past her. But he didn't get very far. Before he turned the corner, Faith reaches down inside of her pocket and tosses out a small scalpel. It flew through the air and landed right at the back of his neck, hitting the middle of it. The man falls to the floor in a gasp of pain, and didn't move. He was still alive, but her blade had hit and landed right into his spinal cord there. She turns to give a flirty smirk at Blayke. "Seems you missed again, Dear." She chuckles slightly.

Faith shrugs, "At least I stopped him for you to play with." She watches as Blayke dragged the man away, and soon followed him into the room. As she watches what he did, she tilted her head to the side to see the blood spatter at a different angle. "Your right, it does look like a neat little design." She gave a small sigh, and walks up to Blayke, she places a hand on his back as she leans close to him. "We're running out of patients. And some of the Nurses are almost getting edgy. They want something more, but they don't know what." She pouted at him with a cute look at him. Tilting her head to the side to let her hair fall off her shoulder.

Doc stiffened up a bit as she got close. Faith had always flirted with him, and he played the game.
Yet lately she'd been getting more and more flirtatious. When he heard her talk about the nurses he sighed.
"...well sadly the hospital is doing it's job properly...no one is scared of committing murder for fear of being sent here..."
He pulled his goggles up, his brilliant blue eyes looking to the wall.
"...we're going to need more assassinations...and if it continues they'll probably break the rules and kidnap children"

Faith had a stern look on her face when Doc mention about children, it was the one rule they were never to do. Never take in Children under the age of 18 or so. She nods her head, and then leans her head on his chest. Her hand still on his back. "Yes, I'm worried about that as well. I've already heard rumors that one of the Nurses had found a girl. Age 18, has a very good family. Lucky. The nurse wants to bring her in and play with her." Her gaze went up to his blue ones, and tilted her head to the side, her face was blank. "Should I dispose of this Nurse right away? Or should I let her do what she wanted." Since the girl was 18, she was a adult in the world of today. Modern, that was what they were living in. But in the Hospital, everyone dressed like back in the days. Her hand would circle around Blayke's back a few times.
