Her stern expression softened as the blacksmith backed away. "This is good sword metal. It is a shame you do not find it worthy of your skills. Even so... I hope you don't continue swindling the villagers here out of their money... for oyu see.... justice is always at work. Mayhaps you need healthy competition? There are master swordsmiths up in Laedra whom would be most happy to attend to Ethra's needs." Rurutia's voice was soft, and then sharp at points, a voice obviously used to ordering people about and settling disputes. She glanced briefly at a figure decked in riches, the vibrant golden helmet in his arms distinguishing the figure from the rest of the group. Ah, the most infamous Arislan.... no good to get tangled up here. I don't want to be sent up to the castle and sold off. Pink lips pursed as her eyes darted from Arislan, the castle... and... a white tiger?!
Her stance shifted from that of a noble women to a fighting stance, the sword-scythe brought across as a guard to her front, both arms outstretched. Catching sight of the... one could only say human expression on the tiger's face, she hesitated, scythe end swinging down to hook around the throat of the tiger. Just a hair's breadth seperate blade from flesh. Her own sapphire eyes met the tiger's yellow ones with slight interest, eyebrows pinched. "So.... I suppose there is something to be desired from me...? Perhaps I'm imagining things but you're a human tiger." Rurutia wanted to laugh at herself. It was rather ridiculous of her to think so. This was merely a tiger afterall, and she had met worse before. A tiger would't be something too troublesome to take care of, wherever it wanted to go. The hairs on the back of her neck prickled as she felt Arislan moving closer. "Either way, if he catches us, it won't be good for either of us..."
That's because you put yourself in a difficult position miss Princess Court Jester. Now you wouldn't be in such a pretty pickle if you had kept yourself a little less conspicuous, no? With barely a murmur of sound, she swung her scythe away, bringing the weapon to an upright and more or less safe position. Even so, she felt a twinge of apprehension. There was always something to be feared of about the ancient weapon. She looked at the tiger once again and motioned with her hand towards the port. Unthinkingle, she placed a hand on the scruff of it's neck, ruffling the white fur gently in what she hoped was a soothing manner. For now, that would be a better place for her to find a new Court Jester costume to disguise herself and lie undercover until the self proclaimed Knight was off of their tails. Yea Lords! She was already thinking of the white tiger as part of the team? Ethra was really a place that drove you insane!
