Her stern expression softened as the blacksmith backed away. "This is good sword metal. It is a shame you do not find it worthy of your skills. Even so... I hope you don't continue swindling the villagers here out of their money... for oyu see.... justice is always at work. Mayhaps you need healthy competition? There are master swordsmiths up in Laedra whom would be most happy to attend to Ethra's needs." Rurutia's voice was soft, and then sharp at points, a voice obviously used to ordering people about and settling disputes. She glanced briefly at a figure decked in riches, the vibrant golden helmet in his arms distinguishing the figure from the rest of the group. Ah, the most infamous Arislan.... no good to get tangled up here. I don't want to be sent up to the castle and sold off. Pink lips pursed as her eyes darted from Arislan, the castle... and... a white tiger?!

Her stance shifted from that of a noble women to a fighting stance, the sword-scythe brought across as a guard to her front, both arms outstretched. Catching sight of the... one could only say human expression on the tiger's face, she hesitated, scythe end swinging down to hook around the throat of the tiger. Just a hair's breadth seperate blade from flesh. Her own sapphire eyes met the tiger's yellow ones with slight interest, eyebrows pinched. "So.... I suppose there is something to be desired from me...? Perhaps I'm imagining things but you're a human tiger." Rurutia wanted to laugh at herself. It was rather ridiculous of her to think so. This was merely a tiger afterall, and she had met worse before. A tiger would't be something too troublesome to take care of, wherever it wanted to go. The hairs on the back of her neck prickled as she felt Arislan moving closer. "Either way, if he catches us, it won't be good for either of us..."

That's because you put yourself in a difficult position miss Princess Court Jester. Now you wouldn't be in such a pretty pickle if you had kept yourself a little less conspicuous, no? With barely a murmur of sound, she swung her scythe away, bringing the weapon to an upright and more or less safe position. Even so, she felt a twinge of apprehension. There was always something to be feared of about the ancient weapon. She looked at the tiger once again and motioned with her hand towards the port. Unthinkingle, she placed a hand on the scruff of it's neck, ruffling the white fur gently in what she hoped was a soothing manner. For now, that would be a better place for her to find a new Court Jester costume to disguise herself and lie undercover until the self proclaimed Knight was off of their tails. Yea Lords! She was already thinking of the white tiger as part of the team? Ethra was really a place that drove you insane!

She thought for a moment as she placed a finger gently on lips to configure her notion. "I would greatly like to see my room first so I may put away my articles." she said gently. "That is if it's okay with you." she spoke in an even more hushed tone. She placed one of her hands on the nose of Strike as she listened to Trinities last remark. A smile formed upon her mouth giving notice to dimples that haven't been viewed since she before her brother had died. "Oh thank-you that is so sweet, but as terrified as I am of your horse I believe his coat has a much lovelier hue." she said gently smiling. "Um...Trinity - I can call you that right? Your highness, do you happen to know who shall be married to whom except for you and the prince?" she said tilting her head to the side in question. "If you don't know it's perfectly fine, just merely curious." she added.

Merric tensed slightly when the sword-scythe hooked around his neck, then relaxed again when it was removed. He almost nodded when the young woman mentioned them being in trouble if Arislan caught them, but gave a quiet, rumbling growl insead. When she motioned towards the port, he hesitated, glancing at the castle. He was so close... but he really couldn't just transform back in the middle of the village. It would cause too many questions... The white tiger padded quietly after the girl, hoping Arislan was still too busy breaking up the crowd to notice him.

Trinity nodded at the girls choice before smiling ever so slightly at her hushed tones. "there's no need to be quiet Akira" she said in bemusement before smiling slightly at the girls complement. "you don't have to be afraid of Satan as long as your with me. He's a violent horse but his hearts in the right place" she said affectionatly, glancing at him with the love obvious on her face. she turned back to the princess with a smile, "of course you can call me Trinity." she said warmly her smile turning to a slight frown of mild regret as she heard the girls next question. "sorry but I'm not allowed to tell you until everyone's in place. We're still waiting for three of the princes to return home and there's still one or two princesses that need to show up as well. You'll learn soon enough though.." she said, her voice trailing off as she remembered the day she'd found out she would be marrying Vinent.

With a soft sigh she stepped ut of the stables and gestured for Akira to follow her, walking back the way they'd come and into the castle. Trinity lead her up the staircase and continued walking until they reached the third floor. The woman the turned right and opened the first door to their left, a sea of rose pink greeting them. They had heard this princess was quite feminine and so they'd given her the pink room. All the fabrics were a shade of pink and most of the wood was either white or a dark brown. the room was gorgeus and Trinity turned, wanting to see akira's reaction.

Zenith smiled and squeezed Anne's hand in return. Eventually they found a nice little clearing in the trees to practice in. "This should be a good spot." He grinned at Anne. "Well, before we start, want me to teach you a rogue's trick for hiding knives?"

Anne blinked and smiled in amusement. "Sure."
She crossed her arms over her chest and cocked her hips to the side. "Quick question? How many knives do you have on you right now?" She raised an eyebrow at him, still smiling. She wouldn't be surprised if he managed to hide more than ten knives on him at the moment. Really, he didn't look like he was hiding. His clothes were light and simple.
Then again, this was Zenith, the King of the Rogues.

"Yes, so I'm crazy, but the crazy princess also says for us to run.....so lets go!" Rurutia set off at a fast sprint, keeping an eye on the white tiger as she ran. This really wasn't the best outfit to be running in, neither was the weapon easy to shift although she had been carrying it around since the age of 14. The weapon didn't exactly make things easier. It would be so much easier to follow them later. Well, atleast the tiger wouldn't be able to tell everyone up at the castle that she was actually a Princess when she changed into costume again. As she ran past a mask stall, she flipped a gold coin into the hands of the stall holder and grabbed a mask, doing the same for gaudy fabrics, brightly patterned shirts and trousers. Turning a street corner into the port area, she motioned for the tiger to follow her into an alleyway and started to shift her overcorset off, not knowing the true identity of the white tiger. She tightened the corset she had on, and added more cloth to bind up her chest. Of course, she wouldn't have done this if she knew that the white tiger was actually a human, but she carried on, swathing herself in cloths and pulling on the shirt and pants.

With haste, she yanked off the hair pins and placed the mask on her face, only the mouth and chin of her face showing as with her previous one. She bundled up the rest of the things in a large cloth with her weapon, all traces of her identity as a princess masked by the identity of Court Jester. The only thing that would have given her away was the beige coloured hair. letting out a breath of relief, she stretched her neck a little and massaged her temples, directing her attention to the tiger. "Hmmm... well... the best mode of action would be to take you to the palace... but then.... I'll pass you off as my pet, sorry to say, but that's the best I can do... and then when I manage to get out without any interference, I'll set you out in the wilderness." Geez, she really felt as if she was cracking. Explaining herself to a tiger? She'd probably get eaten anyway. Her eyes showed an expression of consternation as she petted the tiger again and emerged from the alleyway.

Merric was exhausted by the time they reached the alleyway. He'd been walking and running in this form for a long time, and it was starting to take its toll on him. The white tiger sat down, catching his breath when they stopped in the alleyway. When he noticed the young woman starting to change he quickly lowered his head and let his eyes slide shut. Tiger or not on the outside, he was still a human prince on the inside.

The white tiger hauled himself to his feet, doing his best to just stay at the jester's side. If he concentrated on just doing that, Merric was sure he'd make it to the castle without much problem... The disguised prince nodded absently as the young woman explained herself, slowly looking up at her with his intelligent, tired brown eyes.

As she walked through the market place, she kept a hand on the tiger, seeing that it seemed to be exhausted. How long had it been travelling for exactly? For animals, being around in such close contact with humans was emotionally exhausting. She felt some pity for the magnificent animal with the majestic white fur and intimidating appearance. Surprising. Before she had any more time to consider this, the murmurs int he market had already begun to stir. Rumours of the Laedran princess arriving. Rumours about her. Questions and prediction of who she would be married to and how oh so terrible it would be for her betrothed. Nonetheless, Rurutia kept a smile on her face, knuckles white from how tight she was gripping the hidden weapon. "Nae too far now ye puir thing...." Hopefully, the speech transition wouldn't throw the weary tiger off kilter too much. At the moment, she didn't care. She was tired, and wait, yet more tired.

Near enough, the Court Jester arrived at the doors of the Castle again, pushing them open with her shoulder. "Weel... I guess the only thing ah kin say is tae behave yerself."

Slowly Akira trailed after Trinity replying to the last comment she had made before they reached the castle. “Oh okay, I hope there are as pleasant to talk as you are Trinity. And sorry about the softness, just a bad habit I guess.” she said with a half grin. She wasn’t about to tell Trinity about her brother, her parents in fact stated they weren’t – but they were only doing that in hope of her not being brought up on the subject.
Step by step she clung to her pouch which contained her desirables. Her feet seemed to carry her into the room and at the sight she was in awe. The room’s pink color caught her off guard, but in such a delightful way. She slowly walked towards the canopy bed to lay the pouch down as she glanced wide-eyed and mouth a-jar at the room. “Is this mine? Is this all for me?” she asked her azure eyes sparkling. “Oh! I LOVE IT! Thank-you Trinity this is wonderful! You are the greatest!” she exclaimed giving the girl an embracing hug soon letting ago and blushing. “Sorry.” she said softly. “I got kind of excited, don’t really get such beautiful gifts.” she said looking towards the ground. She may have been 18 but even adults can get excited by gifts.

Despite his exhaustion, Merric pushed himself through the doors and into the familiar halls of the castle. He turned and looked back at the jester when she told him to behave himself. The white tiger almost seemed to smile at her before quietly padding further into the palace. I'm finally home... He instinctively headed to his old room, hoping it was at least still his. But he didn't know how long he'd been gone... Merric sat down outside the door to his room, catching his breath and wondering if he could get the door open without transforming back.

Vincent wandered through the halls, rubbing his eyes tiredly. They were turning black again, his skin paleing so white it looked like he was deathly ill on the verge of death. He didn't feel himself anymore. He didn't know who he was besides the next King. His family was gone, the love of his life was going to die soon, and she wouldn't even tell him why or stop...
What could grow worse? He had nothing left... Nothing but his own living and beating heart...
Nothing left... So nothing could get worse...
Vincent soon came upon his brothers' rooms, pausing when he saw something large up ahead in front of their deceased brother's door. A white tiger...?
Normally he'd be shock and maybe even try to shoo the thing out of the castle before it hurt someone... but he just couldn't bring himself to feel anything anymore.
Vincent looked over at the tiger tiredly before just continuing down the hall and past it.

Merric turned and found himself staring at a very pale and emotionally drained Vincent. It scared him a little... Even though he was exhausted and his brother wasn't enthusiastic about magic, the white tiger hauled himself up and padded after the other prince. "Vince," he managed to say, doing his best not to fall unconscious. He nudged Vincent lightly, his feet trying to buckle beneath him.

Vincent paused when he heard a voice speak his name, and a furry head bump against his hand. Slowly he turned and looked down at the white tiger, seeing only it and no one else in the hall.
It spoke? And it knew his name?
Vincent knelt down in front of the tiger, staring into his eyes tiredly. Brown with human emotion... If he knew anything about human souls in animal form, it was how to tell one from another.
"...Merric," he whispered hoarsly. His hands reached up and held the tiger's large one. He was starting to shake a bit. So much mental stress...
Weakly he rested his head against his brother's, his eyes sliding shut as tears started to fall down his face. "...Y-You're alive..."

Merric finally transformed, giving his brother a hug. "I'm sorry. I was away longer than I thought I'd be..." The prince had always made sure to reassure his family that he'd be home soon... His worn clothes covered by a plain, simple, brown cloak that matched his hair and eyes.
Poor Vincent... he was clearly falling apart. "Vince, what's going on?" Who knew what had happened since his last visit home? The mage didn't even know how long he'd been gone. It hurt to see his older brother so upset, especially since most of his memories were their cherished and happy childhood years. Merric inspected the other prince's face, worry beating out his exhaustion. "What happened to you?" he asked quietly. Even after his incident with Raine had his brother looked so depressed and defeated.
