The moon shines on the midnight sea
the wild waters beckon me
the wild waters beckon me
Layla was talking with Cain and the experience was surprisingly amusing as it were. The man was right now, avoiding her questions and trying to get her to leave it seemed. Now that just wasn't right. Layla's eyes narrowed as he carefully avoided her gaze for a moment before looking up at her once again. She agreed with him as far as the whole 'better for fieldwork' went but she could tell that underneath his calm exterior there was an interesting (perhaps aginizing) past. She knew all this but she didn't ask about it. His past was his own and as long as he stayed out of her personal business, she would stay out of his. "yeah I can see how that would work... but it's always nice to look attractve." she replied easily. She had heard that Cain was bad at talking to women but he seemed fine to her... maybe people just overexagerated? With a slight smile she decided to ask him about it. "so I heard you were bad at talking to girls..." she said, trailing off to see what his reply would be.
The earth is nothing,a distant land
as the pirates dance hand in hand
as the pirates dance hand in hand
