With her hips bent at just the right angle to clearly imply that she wanted someone to look at her, Jessica inspected the food behind the glass. It wasn't like it changed or got any better but the longer she was up here the more she held up the line and the more she heard voices calling at her to move. Standing up and flashing them her winning smile - aka the one that she had perfected to make men melt and woman consider trying a few lesbian experiments - she was just going to turn around to decide on her meal choice when a voice cut her thoughts and made her turn. "Well, they can't keep a pretty face like mine locked away too long." She pouted and gave Alexxi a quick peck on the cheek before picking up a tray of food rather rudley shoved in her direction and making her way toward a table all her own. Tossing her hair again - though there was little reason since it was already tangle free and neatly settled on her back - she met Alexxi's eyes and spoke as he picked over the mystery meat on her plate. "So, I heard through some of the nutcases here that you were getting into trouble again. Trying to make things more interesting?"
She chuckled and glanced over to Kadesha as she approached the table. The little girl was so cute to Jessica what with how shy she was and how soft spoken she could seem. Chuckling at her own thoughts, she pulled on of the uncomforatble metal chairs closer and made Kadesha sit right next to her. "How is my little girl doing today? Did you leave your room and make good friends? I saw you talking to Alexxi today. He's nice and won't bite. You should talk to him more often." Despite her casual flow of questions, Jessica did not give the girl a chance to talk then immediatly went back to scolding Alexxi for his behavior all the while smoothing any wrinkles in her outfit and combing her fingers through her hair. Everynow and then she'd look toward Kadesha and ask for her opinion on something - usally along the lines of - "do you think I'd look good with black streaks in my hair?" or "am I more of a summer or winter to you" - still not giving her chance to answer. When she finally had to pause for breath was the first break - and silence - the two got from her.
