Welcome to Gaia! ::

Samael spared the child who approached him a glance. No one approaches him, ever. They freaked out far too easily. A question, was asked, and Samael glanced at his drawing. What was he drawing? He was drawing the one thing that made him feel alive, he was drawing something he dreamed about. He was drawing something big. He had no idea what he was drawing.

He drew a being, with wings, in robes. He drew a scene of battle and carnage. The being was there, the being was him, sort of, and at the same time, it wasn't. The being held great power, and was pledged to an even greater one. The being... he really wished he knew who they were, so he may remember, then again, what was there to remember?

Ignoring the question, Samael simply placed a finished drawing in Tanner's lap, one that held himself, once again, and a child, near the verge of death, and another being, a female, with such insanity and evil all bound in one, you could feel her wish to crawl off that painting and haunt your nightmares.

He settled back to draw, the distraction known as Tanner could not take his attention away, from the one he was watching.

Kadesha Heart

Kadesha was starting to get very sad. She felt ignored, even though she never made an effort to speak to anyone. 'Your such a stupid girl, Kadesha' Steven was being his usual evil self. She turned away fromt he two boys and turned to her picture. She picked it up, stood up, and walked over to the trash can. Before throwing it away, she took one last look at it, then threw it away.

After throwing away her 'stupid' drawing, Kadesha wanted to read. The only good books were in her room. She looked around to see if the nurses were watching her, they all seemed busy. She sighed softly and headed to her bedroom. 'You better hurry up before you get caught. You remeber what happened the last time you got caught?' Steven was speaking to her, Phil laughing.

After getting a book from her room, Kadesha found her way back to the lounge area. She found a corner, a boy was sitting in it, his back to the rest of the room. She decided not to bother him, she didnt want to talk to anyone. She walked to the corner where the boy was sitting, she sat down three feet away from him. She crossed her legs and opened her book, beging to read.

Tanner blinked, watching still. The other boy, Samael, if Tanner remembered correctly, handed him a different picture. Tanner picked it up, studied it, and his eyes widened. That person... he knew that person. He knew all of them... but why did he know them? He shouldn't know them at all. He had never seen these people before in his life, yet he knew them...

"This..." he whispered. "These are... who are they?" He looked over at the other boy, head tilted in question. His disorder demanded that he go over by the wall again before this boy pushed him away, but he didn't want to... he and this boy were connected, somehow. He knew it... he could feel it, somehow... but why was that?
Looking away from the object of his intense gaze, Samael regarded the boy with emotional detachment, glancing at the picture he had handed Tanner, Samael looked at it, touching the figures with light fingers.

"The past." Was his answer as he removed his fingers. Blue eyes reverted back towards Alexxi's direction, once again watching silently, noting the new figure, noting that she was different like Tanner was different and he was different and so was Alexxi, but he cannot remember her in his dreams, so he did not draw her like he now started drawing Alexxi.

Why did he give that answer? Honestly... Samael has no idea, in fact, it all felt just right, and he was but a tool for the past to come to life in the drawings he created. Stuck to the underside of his bed, the inside of his closet, around the bed poles... everywhere he could place them, he did, for all of them depicted things the staff would surely not allow, and despite his obvious lack of empathy, he knew better than to keep them in the open, these were the things of his heart's desire, he would keep them safe. Especially the picture of Him. Of Him killing, Him sitting upon His throne, Him doing unspeakable things to Samael himself... Or was it Samael? He was not sure, it felt like his own body, but... it was another, another with wings...

As he glanced around the room for something to do, be it an actual activity permitted by the institution or someone to annoy. He had no intrest in 'art and crafts' as they called it, though sometimes it was fun to laugh at some of the mindless scribbles some of the other residents came up with. Nothing on TV was any good, the sort of movies he used to love werent alowed, it was all stupid wishy-washy kids shows as if a bit of action might send the place nuts. He had no patiance for books, there were few interesting with enough twists to hold his abnormaly short attention span.

Alexxi did however, like people. People were never the same, they recated differently depending on everything around them, even the slightest change their surroundings; if the lights went out, everyone would get nervous. But what he loved about people most of all was that he could make them all dance to his tune, just like that idiot doctor. Others of his race were so pathetic, so weak minded, especially the ones in here it made him sick that he and they were considered the same.

The young man paused his casual scrutony of the room when he noticed a pair of empty blue eyes looking at him. It was that weird one, well they were all a bit weird but this one was worse, he diddnt conform to the usual rules, he diddnt react to Alexxis actions or taunts. Alexxi diddnt like him. Before he could thing of a suitable reaction to Samael, a rather cute little girl was creeping a little too close to be ignored. He diddnt think he had ever spoken to her, she was quiet and went unoticed quite easily. she probably came to his corner because it was more secluded then the rest.

Taking the lolly stick out of his mouth, which he was still sucking on despide having eaten the last of the sweet some time ago he sat back down in his chair and flicked it, aiming for the girls head. "Hey, what you reading?"
For that brief second, their eyes had connected, and Samael felt his heart race a tad bit faster. He could feel his heart rate speed up, the usual thumping of his heart creeping up the meter, making his chest ache a bit. Unsure exactly why his body had responded as such, Samael simply ignored it, and looked down at his half drawn picture.

A few more strokes, yes, a few more strokes, with bold, black wings, and such power that oozed from this being... And it was done, the one he titled 'master', the one that captured him and held him forever more. Even in his dream. Though he cannot explain why, for he does not bother to find out. In his dreams, he felt alive. Outside them, there was nothing for him.

Nothing saved that one person who it seems, did not like him very much, he thinks. Gently, Samael picked up the picture, and stood, walking over to Alexxi. Placing the picture (there was carnage in this one as well, blood and gore, even in black and white, made his Master look so much more beautiful) in Alexxi's lap, he simply stood there, looking blankly at the nurse that tried to approach them and successfully freaking her out.

Kadesha Heart

Kadesha had been reading for what seemed like a year, she did get far in her book, though. She loved to read, it took her to a different place everytime she opened a book. When the boy she was sitting by flicked the stick of a lolly at her, she grabed it out of the air, then set it next to her. "Im reading a book of course" She said, looking up at him. She scanned over his face, she wanted to remember his face for later use. Her light green eyes seemed to sparkle, untill she looked away.

Steven and Phil hadnt stop speaking, which made it difficult for her to read. Kadesha did her best to ignore the hurtful things they would say to her, but it hardly ever worked. The only time they ever shut up was when it was time to go to bed, but she didnt know why. She said in a soft voice, "Im reading about death, dont tell" She said to the boy who was sitting near her, she then looked around to see if any of the nurses heard her.

At the young girls answer, Alexxi pulled a face that, if he were an anime character might have looked like this -.- "Well obviously its a book." He said rather abruptly, she better not be trying to make fun of him or that would be the last book she ever read. The boy was rather bored, and when he was bored he became more adjitated and prone to little outbursts than usual. But before he could come out with some kind of smart-assed comment the girl spoke again. "Death." He repeated, in a voice as soft as hers now, knowing what the concequenses would be if they were over heard by any nurse that might be hovering near by. "What about that is there to read about." It was more of a statement then a question, death was simple, he had seen it, he had caused it. Death was the ultimate display of power against another human being, if you could kill them, you owned them.

At the sound of anothers footsteps approaching his chair, Alexxi looked up, it was the boy that had been looking at him earlier, Samael or whatever his name was. "What do you-" He started to say before the picture was set on his lap. Looking down at the image he frowned a little, why was he showing this to him, granted it was a beautiful image, he had never been one to understand why people went ga-ga over art, a painting was just oil on a canvas, no more beautiful or awe inspiring than a photograph. But this.. It wasnt the style or work that had gone into the drawing that captured his attention.. that man, though he diddnt appear paticulaly tall in his surroundings he stood above all others, the aura of pure power that radiated from the being made him more imposing than physical stature ever could. Such beauty, such power, Alexxi wanted it.

But it was just a picture, he diddnt know why it took his breath away, why it made him feel more empowered than any drug he had tryed in the past. "Whats this for?" He asked, quickly regaining his cool and looking up at Samael. "Take your inane scribbles somewhere else freak show im busy."
Jessica let out what was left of a scream from her raw throat - it sounded more like a heave than anything - and she turned to her side, struggling to get out of the bed without her arms. The straight jacket that was wrapped tightly around her torso prevented the use of most of her upper body and as a result she toppled from the steel-framed bed and unto the soft Styrofoam floor. With a muffled 'oomph', Jessica struggled unto her back and then sat up only to lean against the wall with a huff. She wasn't one that dealt with solitary very well but she was put here - yet again - after her little one woman show on the welcome desk. Well...at least she knew that grandfather and his grandson would have a good story to take back home. Smirking, she - for a moment - forgot where she was - and felt what she could assume was pride settling in her chest. Then, as she went to applaud and found her hands still bound to her back, her happiness came crashing down around her in a blur of stained yellow padding. Heaving out an attempted scream again, Jessica forced herself to her feet and waddled over to the door banging on it with her shoulder when she was sure she heard footsteps passing by. Yet despite all her efforts, no one answered the door, no one let her out and within a few moments, she was back to leaning against the wall staring at the door waiting for something to happen. That something that didn't happen for a good 7 hours when an aged nurse opened the door with a sardonic grin. "You feeling better Miss Wright?"

Jessica smiled and tossed her hair back from her eyes. "That's Miss BLACK-Wright. There's a hyphen. But yes..I am feeling better. A little hungry though and my throat is somewhat sore." She returned the nurse's grin and slid up to a standing position.

"Alright then. You know what happens if you muss up again. Back in here for a full day."

Jessica nodded and turned so the nurse could free her arms. Once she had use of her limbs again, the youg female brushed her hair into a somewhat more acceptable appearance and then quietly left the room. "It's lunch time right?" She asked looking back at the nurse who just nodded without a care.

Grinning, Jessica made her way to the common room and waved immediately to everyone else, clearing her throat loudly when they didn't give her attention. When a few faces turned to face her, she smiled, satisfied and skipped into the center of the room looking for the cafeteria line. "What's for lunch?" She asked loudly.

Kadesha Heart

Kadesha smiled when the boy said 'death'. She could see it now, how she would kill each person in the room. It would be different, unique, but she decided not to share that thought with anyone. She saw the boy place a picture on the other's lap, she glanced at it, she liked it. Kadesha quickly adverted her eyes to the boy standing. She looked him over, he was a handsome guy, but said nothing. She looked at the girl who had spoke to everyone, asking about lunch.

Now getting up, Kadesha was heading for her room. She had to hide her book before a nurse or doctor saw it. She looked around quickly then walked down the hall. Once to her bedroom door, she opened it and walked in. She quickly hid her book under her mattress and looked around once more. She thought she saw a dead cat on her floor and screamed. Soon after the nurses came into her room, she relized nothing was there. "I..Im sorry. I just saw something outside. Thats all" She said in a soft voice.

With that behind her, Kadesha made her way back into the lounge. She was hungry as well, and wanted lunch. Phil and Steven were coming up with ideas on who to kill first, Kadesha kept trying to ignore them. "Shut up, Shut up! I'm not doing that!" She said in a soft voice.

Alexxi's words did not faze him, instead, he merely blinked at said Alexxi, before turning to walk away. It was hard to do that, his body demanded he went back and do what Alexxi 'ordered' him to do, but nonetheless, you survive 19 years being an emotionless block, you survive most things.

He had felt the girl's gaze upon him but spare it no thought. He was used to it, people looking at him, that is. Even though he never really saw them since they turned away if he looked their way, he could feel the weight of their stare. It was... well, it was nothing, really.

He wondered if she would scream like the other girl if he cut her with a knife. He still had yet to find out why they screamed, he cut himself several times, he didn't scream, he wondered if it was because he needed someone else to cut him, yeah, that should work. Maybe it is the different people holding the knife?

Someone asked about lunch, but Samael did not care. He was never hungry. He will eat whatever was left in the cafeteria, if there was nothing, all the better, because then he could return to drawing and not have to consciously think about chewing food and swallowing. You see, he doesn't feel hungry, even when his stomach starts making those noises like grumbling and stuff. So he doesn't eat if he isn't hungry, but here, if he doesn't eat, those doctors and/or nurses would try and force food down his throat which, apparently, they do not equate to 'choking'. And while he does not really have the state of mind to care, it gets tiring after a while.

Settling back near Tanner, Samael picked up a new piece of paper and glanced out the window. A storm was coming, he noted, the clouds were going deep gray towards black. Black, for someone who does not care, he rather liked the colour black, it reminded him of his dreams, that was a nice feeling.

Kadesha was a bit sad, yet again. She went to the large window that looked out to the street. There were many flowers and trees outside the building. Because Kadesha was sad, the flowers outside seemed dead. "Thats weird...the flowers should be in full bloom" She said to herself outloud, then turned to look around. She saw people doing different things, crafts, reading, talking to themselfs. She wished she could have a friend, but she knew it wouldnt work out. "Stupid flowers, bloom!" She yelled out looking at the flowers, a few flowers bloomed red. "What the..." She said softly, she was sure she was seeing things. "Just an illusion, Kadesha" She said to herself.

Alexxi was a little dissapointed when Samael left, the cute girl with the Death book had wondered off and without either of them he was left with no one to talk to. At the sound of someone clearing their throat he looked round, watching Jessica as she asked about lunch and joined the que. Ignoring the doctor that was supposed to be keeping an eye on him he rolled up the picture that the weird boy had left and stuffed it into his back poket before jumping out of his chair and wondering over to her, pushing infront of others in the que so that he was beside her, though he wasnt hungry right now, it wasnt food he was after.

"They let you out then babe?" He asked, flashing one of his sexy, seductive sort of smirks. Jessica had been here for a long time he thought, she had been here when he was brought in and that was long enough for anyone in this nut house. There must have been something seriously wrong with her but for a lunatic she was pretty hot so it diddnt matter.
[Master, love. He left the drawing on Alexxi's lap. He did NOT do as he was told. -giggles-]

Kadesha turned around, away from the outside, and looked around the room. She saw the boy she had been sitting by next to a girl. The girl had been loud about lunch, she was very beautiful. She wish she could look as great as her. She sighed softly and walked to the two. Looking at the floor she said in a soft voice. "Hello...Alexxi, Jessica" She said, wondering to herself if they would answer. She held her hands behind her back, waiting for a response.
