Marry Lynn
Marry Lynn was alone in the town. "Hello?" she called. "Where'd everybody go?" she asked out loud. She had never been truly alone before. Her parents, her friends, her teachers, or her doctors had always been with her. Marry Lynn felt a chill run up her spin. She turned around, and behind her was a little boy, except she could see right through him. "Hello," she said, then continued, " Who are you?"
"I'm Death," he said shortly. "I brought you here do die," he said then pulled a knife from behind his back. "It doesn't hurt to die," he said with his raspy voice.
"No, I can't die," she cried.
"But if you die then I get to live again, as you," Death said.
In the hostpital, Marry Lynn's face twitched uncontrolably, and her limbs made jerking movements, as if she was running away from something. The doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. They had all but given up hope that they could find out what was wrong with her.
