Caine nodded and blushed "Sorry." He stood up and pushed his chair back in. He took her bowl into the kitchen and stuck it into his bucket to wash it out. He went back out "It's pretty late. What're you going to be doing?"

Alice was a little suprised when he took her bowl, but she didnt say anything. When he asked her, she thought through the things she had to do. Read. Draw.. Read. She looked up at him 'Nothing. I would go back to bed but Im too awake to..' she sighed at the fact of that. She loved sleeping because it was the best way to make time pretty much fly by. Playing with some lace that rimmed the top of the neck part of her dress, she waited for a suggestion so she wouldnt be stuck in boredom, which was one thing she hated most; being bored.

Caine leaned against the wall. "Hmm, that's a good question." he looked around the room. "Well I don't have anything to do but I could probably get you out of here for the night." He said raising a curious eyebrow.

Alice grinned, walking over to the door. 'Sounds interesting enough..' she eyed him, staring up at the moon. 'As long as it isn't a waste of my time..' her grin went to a smirk as she stepped out the door, turning to wait for him.

Caine smiled as he followed. He rolled the sleeves of his shirt up. He ran his fingers through his hair slowly and brushed his dark locks out of his face and his gray eyes caught the light of the moon. He walked ahead and turned to look at Alice smiling "So where would you like to go tonight?"

A small china bowl made a small, 'clink,' noise as it was set gently against the counter by a petite figure, faintly illuminated by the moonlight. The girl sighed lightly and placed the spoon beside the bowl, leaving it for someone of the staff to wash. She was feeling too full to have any sweets afterward, as the helping of vegitable stew was quite hearty. Olivia was also feeling drowsy on this day, and supposed it would be best to turn in early. Her eyes already feeling heavy, she opened a cabinet and searched for some chamomile tea leaves. The cabinet was...empty. Maybe she could look for some chamomile in the field? She had done it once before, and the tea was sweet and smooth on it's own. She made and weak indicisive groan and bit down on her lip. It was late, but the people that took care of the children let nearly anything get past them. She had decided; she would go out into the field.

Walking slowly as to avoid suspicion, she looked around for her security blanket. It was white, like the colour of her long-sleeved dress, with pale blue lace around the ends. She finally found it and draped it over herself. It was just about as long as her dress as well; just a bit longer then her knees. Like an expert theif, she slipped out of sight and found herself in the shade of the looming door. Olivia opened it as silently as possible and saw the sun hadn't been down for long. The moon was cool and bluish on this night, and reflected on the highlights of her pale skin and hair. She blinked rapidly for a moment because the moon was extra bright. She began to find her way to the field, stepping lightly on the grass-covered loamy soil. The grass tickled her bare feet.

As soon as she found the field, she saw a few children there. Since her transfer to the orphanage was recent, she didn't recognize them. She twiddled with her fingers that held the blanket over her. Her green eyes widened. Would they notice her? Would they speak to her? Olivia didn't want to talk to anybody, but the other children did seem amiable. She simply stood in the entrance to the field frozen, waiting for something to happen.

Alice shrugged, stopping right in front of him. 'Ive never really been outside the orphanage, so its really all up to you.' she preffered him not to ask anything, but if he did, she'd tell him the same as she told anyone else; 'I caught a disease in the last orphanage, so Ive had to stay in bed ever since I got here in order not to get the other kids sick.'. Seeing something in the corner of her eye, she turned her head to see.. ghosts? Squinting her eyes a little, she made out the figures of children. Smiling at their little sneaking out fun. Looking back at Caine, her eyes widened for a second, then went back to normal. Caine looked so much like her brother, it brought back unwanted memory and images, but it only made him a little more interesting.

❣ Adelle was confused, Laughing? That wasn't very new to her,she had been laughed at for saying things that were strange to others,were interesting. As confused as she was she let go of her blanket,it had gotten rather warm,she didn't want to sweat now. Her pink-ish hair slid down her shoulders and down to her back. She blinked,she didn't get it,but she was dense after all.

After that laughing scene had ceased,she heard, 'Are you hungry?' She wasn't all that hungry,she had just eaten anyway. "Oh not really but thank you," she sad to both,both Sweets and Devyn. "Are you two hungry?" she asked,she couldn't think of them as one person,her mind was stubborn,she hated that.

"Alright." Caine shrugged and began walking. He walked until he reached a gate. He jumped over and offered his assistance to Alice. He walked through some tall grass untill he reached a small road lit by small lanterns. He followed the lanterns until he reached a small building. The sign at the top read 'Travellers bar and Inn' Caine grinned lightly as he entered. Some of the older people through odd glances at him and Alice but nobody questioned them. He ordered two glasses that smelled strongly of alcohol and payed with two copper coins. He sat in a dark corner with a small candle barely spreading any light.

Alice followed behind Caine cluelessly, soon figuring out they were at a bar. Finally they sat down, more in the corner of the place. Alice didnt have to move to smell the strong drinks that were obviously alcohol. She looked at her glass, then Caine. 'Ive never had this before..' she laughed sheepishly, lightly pushing the glass away.

"Well, you said not to waste your time and this seemed like a great way not to waste your time." He laughed and sipped his drink. He let warm liquid slide down his throat and the warmth began to spread through him. The tart taste relaxed him and he brushed the hair out of his eyes. "Well this late, what else is there to do?" he asked, more tohimself. He thought for a second.

► Devyn blinked, and both he and Sweets answered at the same time. "No." He leaned down to pick up her blanket from the floor. He held it for a bit, staring at the color. "It is very pretty," He muttered and handed it to Adelle. It reminded his of a flowery meadow in the morning, right when the first rays of sunlight break through the horizon.

He smiled absent-mindlessly, as he remembered those kind of mornings when he and Sweets were forced to spend the night outside, under a tree. He was always afraid that some wild animal would attack her, since her body was much more fragile then his. Devyn shook the thought away, as he glanced at Adelle again, but mostly her wheelchair. "Well, can you walk? Or... not?" He asked carefully, hoping not to sound rude.◄

Alice put her elbow on the table, holding her head up with her hand. 'I dont know.. we could..' she thought for a second, growing quiet. She glanced up at Caine.. he sure didnt seem like someone who would like half the things she liked. She sighed, leaning back against her seat putting her hands in her lap. 'I really dont know.. Can we just get out of here..?' she blushed lightly, looking over at some big biker guys staring at her. She quickly looked down at the table, hoping Caine would think of something fun to do..

"Okay then." Caine said and finished his drink and stood up. HE felt a slight buzz but nothing he wasn't used to. He followed Alice's gaze and glared at the man. Caine didn't wait for the man's reaction before looking back to Alice and offering his hand. He lead her out and down the road once more.
The boy walked in the pale moonlight towards a fast approaching small town. He turned to Alice and bowed dramatically with his hand before him. He smiled childishly at her "M'lady."

❣ Adelle looked at him,smiling as she her light hands received the blanket. She was happy that he had picked up the blanket. She looked at him as he asked that question,Can you walk? The question buzzed and echoed into her ears. She didn't know what to do but one thing was sure for her,she wasn't going to look like she was helpless,at least not like she couldn't do anything on her own. She wasn't going to lie and say no,it was against her principles,though it felt like she was exposing a grave secret. A grave secret that no one should be permitted to hear.

Adelle took in a deep breath,she hesitated,they would think she might have lied. She didn't want that,but she was alone most of the time anyway,if they were gone it would be the same. They had only just met too,so she thought it wouldn't be bad being like her old self,alone. "I guess you can say that I can," she said slight hesitation her voice,but she knew it wasn't all that noticeable. In an effort to show that she was okay,she pulled herself up,she was okay though her legs felt some what sore. She stood,The first time in awhile now...... she thought,trying to get used to standing,her legs shaking slightly.She sat back down,"But as you can see,I can't stand long,"she said scratching her head in embarrassment.
