Kana smileed lightly as she was set back on her feet. She thought for a moment when he asked about the song. "It's just a lullaby that the woman who cared for me used to sing me to sleep with when I was a child. Have you heard it before?" She asked as she looked up at him.

Escalus nodded. "Yes as a child." He found himself caught in her eyes again, gazing into her beautiful soul. He lost track of everything around them, he just watched her eyes, locking his gaze onto her own. He smiled. "I find mmyself... enamored... by you." He whispered.

Kana blushed lightly at his last remark. "Why's that?" She couldn't really stop herself from asking the question. It just seems a little strange that a man of his ranking would be interested in her, a maid.

Escalus smiled. "I have no clue. Your grace... your beauty... your innocence. Your eyes are deep oceans of blue that I find myself wishing I could be eternally lost in. Kana... I think you are amazing, and that you shine brighter than anyone." He noticed her blush and smiled.

Kana's blush deepened when Escaslus answered her question. 'Wow. Does he really think that?' Her thoughts were interupted when she noticed his room. She slowly came to a stop before she passed it. "Oh! Here's your room. I hope it's to your liking," she said as she opened the door and moved out of the way to let him in to look around.

Escalus walked past her and looked around. The room was great, though a little too much for him. He smiled and turned back to Kana. "It is lovely." He bowed. "Thank you for showing me here, Kana."
