"Sure, sure." Pierre said a little lazily. His head was swimming. He pointed his Scorpions at one of the soldiers lying on the ground and approaching the supposed corpse, nudged it with a foot. When the soldier didn't move, Pierre kicked it hard to make sure. It still didn't move. Satisfied, he bent down to grab the P90 and a few ammo clips from the soldier and then stood up, tossing the weapon and ammo to the armored stranger. "None alive over here!" he called back to Jerimiah.

Torajin's eyes looked at Pierre who outstretched a paw to offer friendship. Such things were seen among human culture, but to this big creature who had lived in the underground for so long among these humans, he was very rarely offered friendship. Torajin looked at his paw, sniffing it quietly in his animalistic nature, and slowly, with his and, grabbed it. However, Torajin's strength might have been too much, as among his people, this was a firm handshake, but to humans and sentient beings with weaker physiologic builds, this was considered a very strong hand shake. Just then, his eyes sharply looked to the sound of the gun. He immediately began to search the corpses, tossing them over with his tail and kicking a few over. Like Pierre, he wanted to make sure that they were dead.

As he looked at the corpses with his heat vision to see if they were alive, he blinked softly to change back to his normal vision, eyes looking at Pierre.

"Flying...?" asked Torajin as he looked at him, scratching his head quietly. "What Mean Flying?"

John caught the P90 and thought about growling an admonishment to the boy about throwing a loaded firearm but it probably was not his place. He checked the clip and the action making sure everything was in working order, "Climb inside the lander if you want privacy," he told the dog-girl, he was not worried she would steal it. First of all he doubted she had ever seen anything like it before and secondly Harvey would not let her.

He clipped his new gun to an equipment clip and strode over to the corpses to find some ammo. There certainly a lot of them, he grabbed a couple of spares and looked over to the beast man who was searching through the corpses as well. He came over soon enough to hear the beast wondering about flight. John figured he would elaborate for him.

"Flight, like the birds," he told the beast man and pointed up to a few that were passing overhead as they spoke.

Lynn's eyes darted all around as everything unfolded, watching from her place behind a jutting
piece of stone. "A beastkin? And someone...a human? In an exoskeleton type armor suit?"

The small ice creature spoke. "Yeah. Watch out if the beastkin gets too upset. They got some
issues. Not that there's anything wrong with being who you are, but when you got anger issues
and you are as strong as this guy...you get my point. I'm getting and energy off him. He's got
another form that you won't wanna meet." It swished it's tail like an angry feline. "It can't hurt me,
but you aren't as durable, are you?" it asked, giving an icy blow to the back of her calf.

"As for the dude in the suit, he's not from the surface. I can see what's under that exo-whatever;
he's not a mutant. I'm gonna say he's from another planet, was in space, or was in suspended
animation. Whatever the case, he doesn't appear to want any harm." It laid down on it's side,
propping up it's head with the back of it's paw.

Lynn diverted her attention from Jeremiah's hyper/overly-friendly chatting with the foreigner, then
falling off the giant steel machine at Daphene's being shot in the...posterior to the creature
who'd nearly just given a lecture over who and what these people were. "You really know how to
talk..."

"Yeah, well, artificial intelligence rocks your socks, now, doesn't it?"

"Not really..."

Fajin sat in silence with a sullen mood about him. He had never had such great opportunities to test his abilities, and the giant cat-like creature would have proven the greatest test of his strength. His attention was taken for a moment by the attack of the wounded guard but the others in his group quickly finished the job. "Well my large friend, I see that you are having a hard time deciding, let me make it easy for you, I am going to lead these nice people to the 'blessed lands' over the mountains," he tone was very surreal. "I could use more people to start the town there and you are by far more capable then us," now his voice was a little more sly as he was not truly used to using flattery. "So I ask you as a friend to follow me and help," Fajin was honestly just trying to get the group moving and if that meant adding another person to it so be it.

True love is like a ghost; everyone talks of it, few have seen it.
But true love is a durable fire,
In the mind ever burning,
Never sick, never old, never dead,
From itself never turning.

Jerimiah eventually found the guard he had knocked out, who was mumbling in his unconscious state. He didn't feel like wasting good ammo on him. He said "I guess we should leave before we get some nasty guards on us." He then grabbed a few more rounds for his sniper rifle off another soldier who had used a .385 magnum. He gathered up a few other supplies, like a body armour set off the unconsious soldier, and put parts of it on, mainly the left shoulder guard for his wound, the shin and thigh pads, and the sniper's helmet, which had rolled over to him. It had a built in scope-eye and filter system. He put on the helmet and shoulder pad, and kept the rest for later, tied around a loose string he had found lying about. He was set to go.

"Bird...? What Bird...?" asked Torajin as he looked up to the sky to where the outsider pointed. His eyes widened at what he saw for the only thing that he saw could do what they were were the bat-like creatures in the caverns, and they didn't even do a very good job of it. Hell, they were down right gliding and jumping for long distances, much like Torajin was.

"Torajin... Want Fly."

At that moment Torajin was tempted to jump into the air and catch one, but still, he had his loyalties. He looked back to the underground city. Though the Government treated him nicely, he always felt that they council hid something from him. He also didn't like how people treated him, and so, he ventured into the library to look among the texts, and from time to time would stumble upon a forbidden book. It was there that he learned what his name meant, but now having the option of leaving the Underground city of lies, he now hopes to broaden his horizons. Quietly he looked to Pierre, to Fajin, and to Daphene.

"I Go Surace. But... Torajin want something first. Torajin want... Torajin want different name." said the mighty beastkin, reaching into his pocket to pull out a book that seemed like it was a book for understanding the meaning of names, and not only that, it was a forbidden book that he got his hands on by accident. Opening the pages quietly, he stopped at one, reading the definition.

"Tora... similar to Tiger. Jin... related to monster or Justice, but commonly used for labeling type of monster..." read Torajin as he looked to them, "Many Underground... Call me Tiger Monster. No Tiger Monster, No want bad name. Me want find others like me. Me want them to read this..."

Quietly Torajin removed another item from his pocket, a long scroll, with an insignia that looked like three scratch marks on it, showing it to them quietly.

"Maybe... Others like me on surface. Maybe others read Scroll. Maybe others give Torajin true name, not funny insult name! Torajin want new name. Torajin want new life. Torajin... Torajin want change!"

Daphene continued to shake her head at the outsider. "N-no, I mean it, I got it," Daphene continued to stutter, shooing the stranger away. She put on a cheasy smile, assuring her statement was no lie. "See?" she said, raising her bag and showing its contents of bandages and medical supplies.

Meeeooooowwww Came come a small creature inside of the broken building where the reploid who was just resting through all these events were. The reploid was putting all of his armor, looking down at his helmet before he would begin to think about putting it on. "The RAM still seems in tact...no one tried to rob me..." He softly says to himself as he looks down at his blue helmet, pressing a button on the side which was the manual way of opening and closing the battle mask section. "Gotta find a new radio just in case to crazy humans decide to show themselves for once..." He softly says as he opens up the battle mask section so that he could put on his helmet, as he put on his helmet a thought ran across his mind since his internal memory drive was damaged beyond repair when he got out of the capsule. What did a human look like? The only form of contact he has received was with strange mutated creatures that less than anything didn't have any vocal cords, yet when he had the radio he could barely pick up human chatter. "...a human...what do that look like..." He softly says to himself as he looks down at his hands, suddenly out of nowhere Meeeooooowwwww was heard once again which caught Zero by surprise, he turned over to see what he at least thought was that of a cat...although to him it was a strange creature. "...Take care of yourself now you hear?" He softly says with a smile as he walks over and pets the creature, letting it purr up against his hand. "...Later..." He says as he waves off the cat, walking out of the big hole in the building. As he made his way out of the building holding his ripped up cloak by his side, he looked left and right as he began to think of where to start his next search. He looks off to the left for a few more seconds than to the right as he decides on where to go, he then throws his cloak up and wraps it around his neck, walking forward as he does so. Where he was going at this point was not sure for him...but all that he knew was he was looking for a working computer...or at least a being who has lived for a long enough time to know what the hell was going on.

~Meanwhile...at an undisclosed location of the Underground City...~

"Have you assembled the Elite Guards?" Derzo says as he stands behind the elevator door with his arms crossed held closely to his shoulders, he was waiting patiently for the elevator he was on to the floor of his destination a tad bit more sooner so that he could leave quickly. "Yes Master...they are being prepped for combat and briefed on the current situation. Disembo, the computer program under the supreme order of Derzo, spoke to him from a speaker placed in the elevator. "...And the 'bandits'?" Derzo said as he looked up at the speaker with a curious look on his face, awaiting an answer that could either please or surprise him. "They dispatched with the guards as you planned they would my master...also they have seemed to run across some new lifeforms. A short time ago also, the Bald Speciman made a big enough hole in your favor sir, a big enough hold to fit the Goliaths in. Disembo spoke in his usual monotone voice, though monotone with a bit of an edge of sarcasm sometimes, though this was the moment not to be sarcastic. "Hmmm...it would be nice to bring the Goliaths...but knowing that screecher...he would try and disable the systems to it..." Derzo softly said as he spoke to himself trying to figure out what he could do with this new development. "...Nah, we'll go with the plan we have come up with earlier." Derzo said outloud to answer the thought that the computer was calculating. "Ahh Yes Sire...because Overkill is alittle redundant these days don't you think?" The Computer said to him adding a Hmmmmmmmmm? to the end as if to say something. Derzo closed his eyes halfway and just gritted his teeth together, "No one likes a smart-a** Disembo..." He says outloud while tapping his fingers harder on his arms.

The Elevator finally reached its destination as the doors opened up, Derzo stepped out of the elevator and looked as he saw what was a huge hanger bay where tons of ships, tanks, vans, police cats, and all the sorts of military items were stored. A bunch of soldiers strapped in black combat armor were scrambling around getting to their positions as their leader had just entered the room. "EVERYONE, STAND AT ATTENTION AND PRAISE OUR GOOD LEADER, LORD DERZO!" The Officer from before yelled from the balcony above as all of the Black Armored Soldiers stopped in their places, turned towards the balcony and stood at attention saluting upwards as Derzo appeared on the balcony above them. Seeing all the hundreds and hundreds of soldiers standing at attention saluting him just made him giggle inside, showing a nice grin as he could feel his pride swell up. "It's good to be da king!" He says outloud as he lets out a nice chuckle. "At ease!" Derzo said to his soldiers as they did just that, going back to doing what they were doing before. "It is an honor to have you here sir, the Elite Guard will be happy to go out after this long period." The Officer says with a cheerful smile as he walks with his leader, who was walking down the ramp towards the bottom of the hanger area. "Yes I know...it's been awhile since we have had bandits like this pop up...the urge to kill and serve might have rusted in these men if these events wouldn't have popped up." Derzo says with the grin still on his face as they made their way down to the bottom. "Of course sir, they have all been briefed on the current status at hand and are awaiting for more orders...and uhh...about the guards in the border area that the bandits killed..." The Officer trailed off as he looked away in sadness. "Oh that? Yeah I'm actually happy for that since I don't have to lie about how these guards died this time." Derzo said as he kept on walking, though his officer just stopped in place, confused at his leaders words. A simple "Huh?" was the only thing that came out of the young officers mouth.

Derzo then walked up to a group of about 12 soldiers in a triangle formation, the one soldier at the front tip of the triangle salutes his leader with much respect. "Sir, the Elite Guards have mounted up and we are preparing the...'special' cargo you requested." The soldier says as he looks off to the left, seeing a bunch of other Elite Guards pulling what appeared to be a Box like Cage which would shake violently as if some weird monster was in it. "Excellent, I want the cargo placed inside of my transport, the last thing I need is my Elite Guards going onto the field of battle with crap in their pants again." Derzo said with a sigh as he looked off towards the box cage, remembering a time where his men did indeed do just that, he then shook his head to get the memories out of his head. "Also sir we've got a good description on our targets from the surveillence footage that we have seen, we are preparing the special weapons and ammo just for the right type of people." The soldier continues on as he stays saluting to his leader. "You see Disembo...I need Officers like this, people who know what the hell they are doing! Derzo says outloud as he pulls out a small mechanical card, looking down at a projected hologram of what appeared to look like a sophisticated man wearing a suit robe, this was Disembo, the master computer program of the whole entire Elite Guard unit, this hologram was infact that. "You did my master...you killed him last week for accidently spilling your wine remember?" Disembo answered him bringing up the events of last week, it was indeed a silly reason to kill someone, though it was a good enough reason for Derzo to take his anger out on someone. "...Oh yeah thats right...what was the excuse on that one?" He asks as he looks down at the hologram. "...'accidently ran into a wall too quickly' if I assume." The Computer Program answered, "Ha haaa...I am indeed clever..." The madman said while stroking his chin as 7 vans pull up a few feet away from him. 6 of the vans made a upside down V formation while one of the vans, which was to be Derzo's, pulled up behind the van which was the tip of the V formation.

As he watched his special cargo be put in with his van, he called for his Officer to come to him. "I want the stealth bots to survey the area the bandits enter, once they have picked up their definete destination, I want you to send the Air Vipers to drop off the first batch of soldiers. Once the first batch has been sent send in the second batch, while the soldiers are coming in by the drop ships, we will be coming by the V.A.N.S." He says to his officer, though before he walks away he stops him by placing his right hand on his shoulder, which had a brand spanking new black leather glove over it. "Remember...this is your last chance..." Derzo said softly to him with a cold, dark, and serious tone to his voice. The Officer just shivered in fear as he ran off to go do his job, not wanting to fail and die like his other fellow officers did. "My Leader...with the cave in on the border lines it might take awhile for us to get the Air Vipers through in one piece..." One of the soldiers said hoping that he would have a solution to the problem, which he did. Derzo just turned to his soldier with the cold, heartless grin back on his face. "We will get through..." He says as he walks over to his van, hopping in the back and closing the door. "ALRIGHT LEADER DERZO IS IN HIS TRANSPORT, MOVE OUT!!!" The Officer yelled as he pointed towards the vans and airplanes. All of the Elite Guards who were suppose to go into their rightful van and Air Viper do so as everyone gets prepared to move out. Up in the Control Room of the Hanger Bay two people working on the computers begin to open the program which would open the door. "Lord Disembo, we are requesting access to Door Program 2401-Z" One of the Computer Techs says outloud as he taps on his keyboard opening up the program up until he got to the clearence section to await for Disembo to open it more for him, which he does. "Master Derzo is prepped and ready for dispatch, you may open the door." Disembo responds to the computer techs by radio.

"You've got a green light gentleman, opening the doors. Good luck on your mission, protect Leader Derzo!" One of the computer techs transmits the message to all of the soldiers in their respectful vans and Air Vipers. A loud honking and blaring sound warning people that the hanger doors were opening are heard as the Main Hanger Door slowly opens up. "We are exiting in 5...4...3...2...1...Move out!" The Soldiers leading the V formation vans transmits to the others as they all put the pedal to the medal, taking off with no hesitation out of the hanger bay, going up the hill and onto the citys main highway, which was closed off as they were getting prepped up to leave. All of the people watching just stood there in confusion wondering what was going on...while some of the older residents watched from afar in fear as they knew what was going on. The Elite Guards were being sent out catch the bandits...or maybe even kill them. The vans just took off down the highway making their way towards the exit to the city and to the cave. In Derzo's van, he just sat there in the back seat holding a wine glass as sitting across from him was the box cage rattling around trying to break the chains strapping it down so that he could break free more easily. "It will be interesting...I haven't used you in awhile so you should be happy to get some fresh air...my...PET..." Derzo says outloud to the box with a cackle as the vans just drive off down the highway towards their destination.

Pierre followed Jerimiah's example. He too scrounged some armor from the fallen soldiers, mainly a chest plate, shin guards, thigh pads, and gauntlets. They didn't have any helms that he could wear, seeing as none of them were humanoid bats like he was, so he decided not to get one. He felt strange wearing the armor of his most hated enemy, but it would probably save him considerable amount of pain, particularly the pain of having Daphene's knife jammed into him again. He was grateful that she had done it for him, considering the fact that she had probably hated him from minute one, but he wasn't sure if having improvised surgery done on him was the best course of action. And speaking of improvised surgery, how was Daphene going to get the bullet out of herself? She had been shot in a very awkward place, and it made Pierre concerned as to how she'd get the bullet out. She had declined the help of that strange armored man, most likely because he was male and she was female, so who else was there to help her? There was Lynn of course, but she looked too nervous most of the time to help very much.

Lynn stepped out of her hiding spot -and possibly her boundaries- to get a better look at some of
the other people. Torajin, the beastkin, was much more appealing to the eyes at this angle...his fur
shone in the sun coming in from the gate, and his stripes were much more clearly defined. His
strength was obvious...but there could also be seen a gentler side. The golden yellow fur piqued
her interest the most, however.

"Torajin...perhaps you might be newly named...Kinsuji." She paused.

"Gold...is of course very valuable...and, in the military, 'stripes' are given to those of importance..."

The small dragon at her side hissed with anger. "What are you being friendly to this thing for?" it
bit, disliking her action in it's every aspect. "It's a beastkin! They're roguish and wild! You can't
expect me to--"

"You realize I could have you eaten right now." she whispered, trying to keep attention from the
worse part of the conversation.

"What's taking so long, damnit?" asked Jerimiah, "We have barely any time in the first place. We're wasting it and need to get out of here before a dumbass battalion of guards tries to wipe us out!" He was annoyed and waited outside the cavern entrance, checking his guns and motioning for people to exit. He didn't want to stick around long enough to have to fight more guards. His leg hurt, and frankly, he needed a safe, quiet place to rest and heal from his battle wounds. "This is why I use guns," he thought to himself, "to prevent getting religious on the battlefied."

Rock on! Woot! You know you want some of my art!
Pierre walked over next to Jerimiah and leaned against the wall, folding his arms against his chest. "Jer's right guys. This is no time to be foolin' around, not while we're so close to the end of our little journey here. Yo Daph, how's about you patch up that cute little rump of yours and let's get goin' eh?" Like Jerimiah, Pierre was itching to catch his first glimpse of the Surface. To him, there was no time to lose, and every minute they wasted here meant more time for the guards to set up an ambush in the exit tunnel. There was no way Pierre was going to let himself or Jerimiah be killed this close to their goal. Besides, he was curious as to what Torajin and the armored human could do in battle. Torajin looked as though he could take on an army of the government's troops alone, and that armor looked like it could take more than it's fair share of damage. The prospect of seeing these two in battle seemed only to worsen Pierre's impatience. He began tapping his fingers against his arm in annoyance.

"Don't get your panties in a bunch, I'm going!" Daphene grunted, still irritated of being shot. She dropped her bag in front of her, medical contents spilling onto the cave ground. She began moving so she would be facing the group. Her knees were carefully placed so she would cause as little tension on her muscles as possible. Bending over slowly, she grabbed the canteen that now held a little underhalf of water, and a cloth. She twisted her upperbody and with her empty paw, she grabbed the back end of her skirt and raised it to her muzzle, securing it in her teeth. She began to wipe blood off her fur and around the wound with a damp cloth. Setting the cloth and canteen down, she twisted back around to retrieve bandages. She wrapped the wound securley, squinting and releasing muffled whimpers.

After she had finished, she let go of her skirt and let it cover her. She then focused on her hip, continuing the same cleaning procedure. For now, she bandaged around her hip quickly.

Tossing everything back in her bag, she zipped it up and tossed it around her back again. She set a paw on a wall and grunted painfully as she stood up. A dull pain throbbed down her left side.

"Alright.. let's get the hell out of here," she stated, limping slightly to the group.

John slipped the extra P90 clips into utility pouches before heading for the lander, "If you lot can help me I'll give you a lift to where ever you are trying to go," He figured that it would be good to travel with help. The planet had turned awful hostile in the sixty seven years he had been on ice. He climbed up the ladder to the lander's passenger compartment.

"Come on, if you're being chased then we've already wasted too much time," He tapped the start up sequence and double checked the maps Harvey provided him. It would be a quick trip to the next heat source He doubted the new friends would mind if he set the course for now. If they did then he could keep going on his own. The lander rumbled to life.

"John are you sure it is a good idea to take these people with us?" Harvey asked over the internal speakers of the lander.

"Honestly? No, but the need me and probably don't know how to use any of our gear. Plus, I have you to keep an eye on them for me."
