Damion sat in the specified seat. He was bewitched, completely ignoring everyone but her. He gazed directly into her alluring eyes. "Please forgive my appearance. It's been a long morning," he paused, "Might I inquire what you are?" It was obvious that she wasn't human, but Damion could not pin point it himself. She was beyond beautiful and the only one to hold his attention. Damion was pretty reserved. He hardly communicated with others and rarely ever acted in this manor. What was it about this woman?

"Names Ryu." He said introducing himself.

"I am a fallen angel" she said cocking her head to the side slightly "and you are a werewolf?" she asked, she can usually sense what people were, especially people like her. She smiled and leaned back in her seat "Pardon my ignorence" she said.

"A fallen angel?" he repeated to himself. "I'd have to say you are the first I've met," he assured. The truth of the matter was, she was also the only one he was willing to talk to. "Yes," he paused, "I am a werewolf." Damion was ashamed of what he was. He didn't ask to be a monster, he was born into it. It was undeniable and unavoidable. "Might I ask why you're here? Surely heaven must be lonely without you," he continued. Damion was too intrigued to notice the other person at the table, nor did he intend to. No one had ever gotten to him like this before. He wasn't use to it.

"The creator said I committed the deadly sin of lust by going out of heavens gate after a boy who was going into hell... Walking about 3 steps out of the gate, I just fell through and came to earth" she said looking at damion and ryu "oh this is my friend ryu" she said patting ryu's shoulder and smiling a little.

"It sucks you got thrown out like that." Ryu said."its great to see you agian, maria."

She smiled at ryu "Its great to see you to....but is that why you came down here? to find me?" she asked curiously looking at ryu.

Damion gazed further. "Forgive me for saying this...but you're lucky," He stated referring to her dismissal from heaven. It might not be so desirable to her, but Damion had his reasons for believing this. There are so many things which we can't control. No matter how hard we try, and for some...this is our fatal flaw; our desire to change what history has written. To some how command what the future holds and avoid that which we wish to avoid.

"Guilty as charged." He said smileing."heaven was soo borring, so I made a little deal to come and find you."

She smiled "yeah, you found me ryu, but I still cant go back..... and how am I lucky? I was charged with the deadly sin of lust, now I have to walk around here with all these human men getting all goofy on me...." she said remembering what had happened earlier. "I dont want a repeat of what happened earlier, these two men came out of here and started flirting with me, then they grabbed me trying to make me go with them, thats when ronan and minka showed up" she said.

"Hey, you got me here to watch your back." Ryu said."Im not expected back in heaven in like....forever."

Damion smirked slightly. Maria's response was as expected. "You might not see it as luck, but at least you had the opportunity to make a mistake. Your lifestyle is a result of your own decisions," he paused, frowning lightly, "I on the other hand...I was cursed, cursed as a seed. I was given no choice, no decision, and no opportunity to make the right or wrong decision. I am what I am, not from my own doing, but from 'the creator's' mockery." Damion's tone was morbid, depressed and rattled. "I'm sorry, we've just met. I shouldn't be burdening you with my sorrows, forgive me," he finished, his head hung slightly. His vision had shifted from Maria for the first time since he sat down. His eyes were fixed on the table's surface as his life's content played through his head like an unwanted rerun. He had opened up to this woman; not very much, but had done so none the less. What was wrong with him? What was it about this woman? Was it her curse, her divinely given,undeniable lure? No, it was more. It was a feeling long lost to him, infatuation with the potential to become more.

Marias head tilted slightly and she reached acros the table and gently grasped his chin tilding his face back up to hers, she smiled kindly "there is no need to appologize" she said before looking at ryu "thats true that I do have you, but if you showed up a little earlier you would have saved me some emotional trama for sure" she said giggling slightly. She looked back at damion "I think that no matter what you were born to be, you can always make your life what you want it to be, a chance I was deprived of in my death at 17 years ago, but thats a story for another day. My point is, you have this power and its beautiful and it makes you what you are, and the creator does not mock us, he creates new life every day, and people like me, they fall into misfortune by choice, but people like you are born with it, and its not a bad thing, I think its wonderful" she said thinking to herself that she sounded like she was ranting.

"I woulda came sooner but my powers were limited." Ryu said."As a part of the deal, my powers were limited, and I can only change once per day." Ryu said, he let out a sigh."but its worth it."

Damion briefly enjoyed the feel of her touch upon his chin. No one had ever shown him such compassion and normally he would avoid it. This woman caused such unbalance within his persona. Damion took in a deep breath and accepted her words, considering them within his mind. He gazed back into her eyes once more and offered her a warm smile. "Thank you for that," he replied. He knew no other way to respond, but did feel some sort of ease from her words. "Is it really so bad to live among the normal?" he inquired. Damion was burdened by more than his curse, he was plagued by his own inner conflicts. He was torn between instinct and free will, between hunger and humanity. Was he a monster? Does he have the will to be better than that? What was he meant to be?
