Today was the day. The day where everyone and everything was supposed to go smoothly. But for the past few generations, the Seekers weren't strong enough and they were destroyed, one by one. In fact, Puto -- the head Scientist for this time around - didn't look very hopeful in the young heroes. He had sent a voice message through the airwaves, announcing the Experiments for the test through the Multiverse had begun. Puto had remembered little applause from the people of the Earth. And that was only a few days ago. Today was supposed to be a rather sacred and hopeful day, to know that, one day, the darkness would never ever happen to touch this world. It would never make its way to destroy families and tear apart lovers. If the darkness ever reached Earth, Puto and the rest of his Scientists wouldn't really know what to do. Unfortunately, Puto hadn't realized that today was the day that darkness was going to reach Earth. He hadn't gotten any type of notifications about it until last night so he wasn't able to warn the heroes. Because of this, however, he thought this to be the very day to execute a test run.
They were to meet in New York City, where the Experiments were sent off every day. And as they all made their way there, they noticed something. The sky above them was covered with darkness. And the clouds were filled with electricity. Surprisingly enough, a young man with a black and red jacket on was the one there first. He walked down the street, towards an empty parking lot which held no cars, except for those that they would have already arrived. But he was to arrive here on this day, around 3pm. He didn't feel it was necessary to put a ******** time on when they should come here. s**t, he already had to be stuck on this pitiful planet for more than a day. Why did they have to bother him with s**t that was unnecessary? "Man... ******** Earth." This man was quite a vulgar, as he strolled through the streets, walking into the parking lot in front of the signature building that he was supposed to meet at. "What the ********?" The man asked, running up to the front door. The door was locked... and the place looked extremely dusty. "Ayo, what the ******** is this s**t? Are we not supposed to meet here today? Earth and their bull s**t a** ways, ahhhhh, they make ******** insane! I just wanna--" He breathed deeply and said, "Whatever. I guess I'll just wait here for more people to come." This young man's name was Navitas, and he came from Wonderland. Of course, to ensure that he was here on time, he was transported to Earth when selected to take part in this little event they were having. He was hot-headed, ill-tempered, and really wanted to kill people and get this over with. He knew Earth was supposed to be some great a** place to these humans but... he couldn't see the greatness of this place. It was all technology, and all bull s**t, in Navitas' eyes anyway. He couldn't believe he was the first one here... He was so ******** pissed. s**t, he can't believe he had to wait. Earth's hospitality? ******** that, that didn't mean s**t to him. He hated waiting and he hated making others wait. Navitas sat down on the ground nearby the front entrance, as something moved behind the door, within the dark corridor.
It was a camera. That Puto had put there, and was this entire place was covered in state of art of replication and cloaking. Puto had smiled when Navitas arrived, bringing his face and name up on the screen. "Excellent. Navitas. Wonderlander. Perfect. Let us hope they all arrive here before they... attack." A shiver almost went down Puto's spine. He almost felt bad for what was going to happen to these new... Seekers. He wanted them to survive but... at the same time, he wasn't very hopeful. But this would be a test run. If they could make it past this, then they would be inducted into the program. If not, then, well... back to the drawing board.

"Touch her again and I'll break your god damn neck next time!"
The angry Irish accent stood out even in the crowded streets as a redheaded woman, her hair in pigtails, marched down the street. She shot every rude gesture in the book at the taxi driver as her twin sister Mona followed behind her. The driver had reached into the backseat and 'accidentally' brushed his hand against Mona's chest. Accident...yeah right. How did you accidentally take your hands of the wheel while you were driving, reach back, and grope a girl? Mona had gotten quite upset over this. Catlin did the only logical thing to do: She crawled into the front seat and broke his fingers.
The driver had pulled over, and Catlin had pushed Mona out of the car. They were relatively close to where they needed to be anyway. Now they were walking down the street as the driver took off down the street, probably heading to a hospital or something. Who cares.
"You okay?" Catlin asked Mona softly, her irritation immediately replaced with concern. Mona didn't say anything, but she nodded. Catlin put her hand on her sister's shoulder, squeezing it gently before the two of them continued walking. The sky was odd today, but Catlin was too mad at what had just happened to pay any attention to it. Mona kept looking up at it though, her face a mixture of fear and worry. She tried to keep her eyes on the path ahead of her, but she couldn't quite keep herself focused.
Finally they arrived. One person was already outside, and Catlin immediately didn't trust him. She judged books by their covers. She had to in order to protect Mona. If someone didn't look trustworthy, then why bother with them. Someone looked nice and friendly? Might as well hate them anyway, just in case.
Catlin led Mona to the side of the building, where they leaned up against it. Mona seemed preoccupied with the sky still, but Catlin continued to glare at everyone that passed by.

Cecilia was nearing her destination when a few anthro haters began trowing things at her, within moments she was on all fours and sprinting. I hate New York and all of it's purist scumbags. I'm still human, even if I don't look it. She didn't stop till she arrived at the place on her map. There was a creepy guy, some science-y looking guy and twin well endowed women already there. She approached the science-y looking guy, "Furball One reporting for du-" She ducked as an empty soda bottle flew right where her head was a moment before, "-ty." She sighed and stood on her hind paws, "I'll wait somewhere that's harder to spot." She walked over to the twins, "Good day ladies, you aren't gonna throw things at me, are you?" Cecilia hopped up the wall to a second story window sill above the twins and curled up.

Zakk Hetfield, or rather "Punk" aimlessly walked through the streets of New York for awhile, he figured that he could get close to his destination (which he sort of did not comprehend the purpose of yet) while doing some good old sightseeing. He actually liked that a lot, just exploring... hoping to find what he was looking for. Anyhow, the man in the dark denim jeans and red Metallica t-shirt did not cease to amuse himself with the petty little things he witnessed, which of course was an every day occurrence to most people in Manhattan. He could not help but feel even calmer than usual due to the huge black clouds looming over his head. Truth was, he actually loved the weather like this, but this time it felt different like these clouds being there did not exactly mean it was going to be a rainy day.
All of a sudden, something that was actually really close to startling him happened, a random bus flew past the other cars sort of zigzagging in an actually impressive fashion. At first Punk thought that the driver had gone mad or something but then he stared as the bus quickly made its stop at a faraway hospital. "Man... that was actually kind of different." He whispered to himself and continued his commute.
Eventually, after not being amazed one bit by the every day happenings in New York, Punk made his way to this "facility" he had been summoned to. From a couple feet away he saw a scary-a** looking guy in a red hoodie, a couple girls that were actually twins, another rare happening today (dully noted in his mind the one in the bright white dress), a random pseudo-cat-human-thing... and finally someone that gave off the appearance of a scientist. Punk quickly made his way to this rather extravagant group, held his hand up with his index and middle finger sticking up in a peace sign, and sort of just said "Yo." That was his usual greeting for almost anything actually, even for something as weird as this.

What fun this day was going to be! Oh man, she couldn't wait to get out of the house! She had been waiting for this day for a long time and now, it was finally here. These were pretty much the thoughts of this one girl that had been getting ready since early this morning because she couldn't sleep. Well, not until she simply passed out that is. After she woke up, it was still sort of early but she was recharged and ready to go! She was so pumped, she was going to finally be able to follow in her parents footsteps. The girl did things here and there around her house, with a giant smile on her face. She brushed her hair... stopped, brushed it again... Stopped. And continued to do so until it was time to go. Before she left her room, she took one last look at a picture sitting across the way nearby her television. She walked over to it and picked it up, wanting to get a better view of her parents before she had go on her own... and possibly, never come back. "I swear... I'll make you guys proud of me!" She determinedly says, and quickly rushes out of the door, after placing back on the table. She doesn't think she needs to take anything with her. Alrighty then~ Off we gooooo! Is what she was thinking as she exited her earlier that day. Upon arriving in New York City, which is why she had to leave early to make good time (because she lived in Long Island, which wasn't that far away but still), she looked up into the sky and saw these strange colored clouds up there. Symphonia, the girl in question, looked up and kind of groaned...
Those weren't ordinary clouds. Something was going to happen today, she could feel it. These new... things she was "feeling" lately had to be a result of her own Seeker abilities developing. She... figured that was always something she thought. She shrugged and simply entered a taxi, heading down in the direction towards the facility that she was told to meet at around this time. The taxi driver had to stop, when he heard something from behind him. They were only a few steps away from that place... So, Symphonia got out of the taxi and handed the guy the money before she started making her way towards her destination. Before she knew though, she heard something rush from behind her. She turned around and smiled, seeing that a bus would have crushed her if she hadn't been careful. She sighed, and her smile dropped for a second as she said, "Man... Typical New York, these days." Symphonia's smile came back, as she skipped towards her destination, seeing someone else arriving. Upon arriving though, she saw several people of all races and places sitting, leaning, or smiling at her. Someone had just arrived before her, and even though they all looked a little... shifty, Symphonia was determined to make good with her teammates. "Hello, everybody~" Symphonia spoke up, waving her at everybody, seeing a creepy looking man give her a glare and turn his head away from her. She smiled back at him and waved saying, "My name is, Symphonia! But since that's kind of hard to pronounce, just call me, Nia! I'm happy to meet all of you! What is everybody else's name?" Symphonia turned her head and saw that a Scientist, or rather, a guy that looked similar to one was standing at the entrance to the place, looking down at the ground, waving to her, as she looked at him. Before she could speak any further, the "creepy" looking guy that nobody seemed to trust spoke up first. "Navitas. My name is Navitas. I'm from Wonderland. I'd prefer if you called me "Navitas" but if you must give me a nickname, call me Navi. Nice to meet you or whatever, Nia. Bleh. By the way... the b***h with the fat a**, the one with her hair up. Thanks for introducing yourself. I thought we were supposed to promote "teamwork" with this s**t but I guess you don't know what the hell manners really are. Oh wait... I forgot, this is Earth. Earthlings don't have anything that pertains to "hospitality" or "manners" or anything else that falls into that category. That goes for everybody else here who doesn't know how to speak the ******** up... Except Nia, over here." Navitas stuck his tongue out in the air, as he said this, as Symphonia smiled and nodded, acknowledging him, albeit feeling slightly awkward about his introduction. He was definitely a scary individual but she was sure she would get used to him eventually. "Awesome, nice to meet you, Navi! What about everyone else?"

Good lord what a day. Jakub had spent the last several hours on crowded bus full of obnoxious people. He was just about ready to tear his eyes out with two fingers. The bus finally pulled up to a stop, and the driver spewed some crap about this being the end of the line. "End of the line? We're in the middle of nowhere you idiot." Jakub said, standing up to get off. He stepped down off the bus and it took off like a rocket. What the hell was up with people these days? Taking a moment to make note of how freaky the sky was looking right now. He focused on his destination. It was a big, beat up building that looked like it was about to fall down in on itself. Lovely, somehow he felt like he was being called here like some fawn in a horror movie, about to be brutally torn to shreds by some horrible monster from a failed lab experiment or some other horrible plot device. Shooing his suspicions from his mind, he noticed that there were already a couple people at this run-down old crap factory. He made mental notes of each person as he got close enough to see each person properly. He made mental notes of the creepy guy in red, the energetic girl with raven hair, the dark haired boy, the two gorgeous redheads and the anthro in the window above them. Not exactly sure how to introduce himself, he spoke up with his lamest one-liner. "So when does the guy with a chainsaw get here to kill us all?"

And of course the scary-a** looking guy in the hoodie, now known to Punk as Navitas from Wonderland, was the typical loudmouth trying to make friends by cussing off somehow. Oh well, he expected to have at least one of those in the group and would have to deal with him sooner or later. "Well my good sir." Punk said sort of mocking the fact that Navitas just called them out on their manners yet he was cussing out at everyone. "Before another ******** comes out of your mouth, my name is Zakk Hetfield..." Punk finally spoke out looking at Navi and the energetic girl Symphonia, who Punk made a mental not to never call Nia because her full name was actually kinda badass. "But if you want to give me a nickname, go for "Punk." Nice to meet you all." Punk mockingly bowed and gestured with his right hand at Navitas as he said that last line.
All of a sudden another dark haired guy joined them, and as Punk straightened his back out he noticed as the newbie scanned them. Then he said the lamest one-liner ever, and Punk could not help but snicker a little bit. "Now that guy seems I can get along with." He said quietly then walked across and rested his back against the building putting his hands safely inside his jeans' front pockets, waiting for the rest of the introductions that were sure to be "unique."

Cecilia hopped down from the window and began stretching as she looked over at Navi and Nia, "Sorry I didn't say hi earlier Navi, kinda busy trying not to get hit in the head with a tire iron again, took me thirteen hours to remember my name after that one. Anywho, the lack of excessive violence towards me in the past few minutes has convinced me that it's safe for me to be sociable for a bit. So, My name is Cecilia. The handful of people that like me call me Sissy, not sure why, but it's nicer than a lot of things I have been called. I also answer to Furball, ya' know, just in case someone here doesn't like me for whatever reason." Then she looked at the new guy, "You realize this is New York and not Texas, right? If I were worried about some horror flick happening at this dump, I'd be looking for the Cloverfield creature. We are in the right city after all."

"Good point. But it's all the same formula, just a different way of dying." He droned, not even bothering to laugh at his own stupid joke. "Now, this being New York is of no consequence to me. Everyone down here thinks people from my neck of the woods are polar-bear riding eskimos, so I regard most of you as redneck crazies. I'm hoping this group of....interesting individuals will prove me wrong." He said with a rather uncaring tone as he looked the anthro over. "I gather Americans aren't too...tolerant, of anthros?" He asked bluntly, not really caring if his question offended, he was really just curious. He then remembered that nobody even knew his name yet. Oh well, he was barely paying attention, he must have just forgotten. "Oh, yeah. My name's Jakub."

"West coast likes anthros a little more but I still think I would get a nicer welcome from Hitler. I think I'm the only American in this group so far. And I am definitely not some inbred, moonshine drinking, sister screwing redneck. I actually own a brain and I have been known to use it." Cecilia walked around aimlessly for a moment before grabbing her shoulder bag. She pulled out a few decent sized books, "Sorry, forgot to do something earlier. My Sorceress leveled up at the end of my last game night and I get new spells. I know, I'm a nerd." She tried to hide behind her books as she spoke. Cecilia ran over to the building and sat down with a handful of Dungeons and Dragons books opened up in front of her, "Okay, got my PH 1, 2 , 3, and 3.5, Spell Compendium, Complete Arcane, Unearthed Arcana. Okay, now I need two eighth level spells. Oooh, I can get Wrathful Castigation?! Oh and Fierce Pride of the Beastlands?! Ha, Celestial Lions, take that Miri, now who can summon badass critters. Stupid Miri and her stupid Favored Soul." Cecilia looked up for a second, "Sorry bout that, I got a little excited, heh." She hurriedly put all her books back in her bag, "I'm just gonna go over there and shut up now." Cecilia jumped back to her window sill and curled up, trying to hide.

"Heh, DnD. I probably would've gotten into that if my parents weren't sports-crazy half-wits who constantly tried forcing me into martial arts and football. I really don't mind. And sorry about the American comment. I don't care much for sugar-coating my opinion." He said dully, putting his bag against the wall and sitting on it. He had nothing important in the bag, so there was no risk of breaking something. He did however fish around in the bag and grab an ornate pocket watch he kept with him. It was some little trinket given to him by the only person who he never had anything bad to say about; his grandfather. He opened it to check the time, but almost immediately became entranced by it, and ended up just sitting there staring at it. This was a common occurrence, as his grandfather was pretty much a better father than Jakub's real dad. He looked at it for a few more moments before he closed it, and wound it twice before putting in the chest pocket of his coat. He leaned his head back against the wall and let out a sigh. "Soooo, why are we here again?"

Navitas held back his urge to give them finger and simply turned away at any of their comments, finding that they weren't worth his time at this point. He felt so annoyed here, why the hell did he have to be the one to be chosen for this stupid s**t? Well... He did originally enroll for this position. He thought anything would be better than crazy old, Wonderland. But it seems that, Earth was boring. And he didn't enjoy boring. But he didn't enjoy crazy as hell either. He needed a balance. Something in the middle that wouldn't let him have something too crazy or have something too boring. Luckily... this journey might be just that. Navitas continued listening to their conversation, as he heard a squeal come from someone. Navitas turned back and saw that Nia was jumping up and down, like a crazy school girl that just got a great grade in her class. She seemed so excited... but why? He would never understand it.
As Symphonia squealed, she smiled at the people who introduced themselves. "Oh my gosh, this is going to be so cool! Punk, Sissy, Jakub, and Navi right?" She pressed her fingers to her forehead and forced herself to remember their names. Forced their names to be imbedded into her brain. Symphonia heard the conversation go on between the two, as she heard Sissy pull a book out of her bag, and begin to say something cool about it. At least... to her it sounded awesome. Symphonia was curious so she walked over to Sissy while she was talking, and observed her from behind her back, and jumped back to her normal spot when she turned back around. She heard Jakub speak up and speak the name of the game. "D... n...D?" Symphonia asked, having no clue as to what that was. "Is that.. a game or... something like that? I've actually never been really into games. Is that... DnD game fun? What does it stand for? And what's it about?" Symphonia was never one to stay on topic for more than twenty seconds. "Also... don't you already know, Jakub? We're supposed to be the new group of Seekers! My parents used to be Seekers as well and we're supposed to be taking after them. Did you guys even bother to read through that message the Scientists sent us the other day? Nonetheless, I think you guys are fun. I hope we can all be friends someday. We'll actually have to be. We'll be together for months now. Possibly even years. I can already see some relationships developing~" Symphonia sung, brightly, at a very high pitch. "Yup. I'm already totally about to ship Jakub with Sissy. Or... maybe Jakub with, Navitas? If you're into that, I won't judge youuuuuu! Or maybe I'll get with someone! Oh man, that would be so fun! Don't you think, guys?" If you were listening to anyone in the parking lot, you would have heard Navitas sigh pretty loudly. He was most definitely NOT into homo-eroticism. He didn't have those kind of powers. Now, he didn't know about Jakub. He wasn't going to judge him or anything like that... Wait, he totally would. What were talking about again?
