She Wolf- David Guetta

-Luka had her back to the man. She hadn't left his unnoticed. But sitting there sleeping she deemed him nonthreatening. Besides she was a very sly little creature. Even if he became a threat it wouldn't have mattered much. She keep waiting for her answer even after the sudden burst and tirade. Eventually she sighed and dropped her saddle bags onto a stool and leaned her rifle against the bar. She turned and cast her golden orbs over this odd man. His features didn't frighten her. But as she gazed upon him she felt she were gazing at a rippled reflection of herself. What a curious creature.

She smiled then laughed a soft but dark little laugh. "You were sleeping." She pushed off the counter as this woman draped in black herself began her prowl forward. Stalking like some untamed beast with sharp fangs. "Did you dream i wonder... of hands reaching for you? Cast in beautiful crimson. Or did you dream of glass eyes watching you wonder, with mouth gaping open but no voices to be heard." She cooed this dark whispers with almost a sinister delight. This was one killer whispering to another. But there was such amusement in her golden gaze. Now here she had come to find rest and drink. But here lay in wait a dark little gift. "Do they speak to you?" She chuckled more before taking up a chair at his table and kicking back unafraid still. The black wolf was playing a dark and dangerous game.

Nathan sat back down with a groan, picking his coat up off the floor and donning the garment. It had been a good nap while it had lasted, anyway.

"Aye lass, and them crimson hands started doin' themselves a wee jig on yonder table while the glass eyes was spinin' place and shootin' stars out their arses." Nathan said with a fake grin. He sensed the darkness of her tone, and had to resist laughing. It was the same tone he used when he was stalking someone who had particularly annoyed him, when he wanted to hurt that person as much as possible; to make all of their darkest nightmares and bloodiest horrors come to morbid fruition at his hands, all before he concluded his hunt with a few slow, agonizing cuts. He had heard many other killers in London use this tone when trying to intimidate other, younger members.

So she's bluffing. Trying to intimidate.

That, or she's trying to get her feckin' jollys off by givin' me s**t and unless YOU make me do something stupid, we should be fine!, Nathan thought angrily. The voice made a derisive noise, but relented.

"And yes. They DO speak to me! And I would much rather they keep thier bloody mouths shut!" He added with an even wider smile.

-Her head tilted curiously at the accent he had and the strange words he spoke. In the end she burst into a slight cackle of amusement. As it died off she removed her hat and set it on the table. Her hand lifted and pushed back her hair. Her golden eyes danced across his face. What a strange unique creature she faced. She leaned forward leaning against the table to get a closer look. "You have a pretty face." She smirked and leaned back again. She moved her hand to her corset and slightly pulled it down to show several cigarette burns over her heart. She was riddled by burns and scars. So the wolf was barring her scars to her rippled reflection.

She sighed and leaned her head back. It was a highly exposed position. "This town is really very interesting." She grinned. She had her fair encounters but she always enjoyed the rare ones like this. "Your voice is quite the odd one. I dont think i've ever heard anything like it before." She shut her eyes and yawned. She was tired, to sleepy to care.

Addy kept her eyes to the ground as she went about her task of sweeping the floor of the tavern. A few people came and went, but most didn't pay her much mind and so she didn't bother to address them outside of a quick glance in their direction. The man asleep under the stairs, however, she avoided at all costs. He was intimidating, not only to look at, but in nature as well. The random growls and grunts and muttered nonsense didn't help, either.

She gave Charlotte a brief glance as she entered the tavern, but didn't address her, either. It wasn't really her job to greet customers anyway, all she was supposed to do was keep the place clean. Isabelle took care of making the customers feel welcome.

For a moment, her attention was drawn out the window as she heard a commotion down the street. It looked like several of the town enforcers were gathered outside the bank. A robbery? A shiver ran down her spine as she quickened her pace in her cleaning.

Not long after the commotion started, a woman dressed entirely in black came in, asking about a room. Almost immediately after, the strange man in the corner stood, wielding a knife as though ready to attack. Addy jumped, her eyes widening. Instinctively she took a few steps back as Isabelle moved to stand in front of her. Not that her sister moving before her put her at ease. If anything, it only made her more nervous. What if something happened to her?

With a small panic setting in, she felt the urge to grow very small. Thankfully it was minor enough to repress on her own.

The conversation that sparked between the woman in black and the man didn't help things, however. Isabelle seemed to sense her struggles, though.

"Addy, go on upstairs and get a room ready, please," the red head spoke, not in a stern tone, though she still made it clear it wasn't open for discussion.

Addy frowned lightly, fidgeting and glancing quickly between the two strangers and her sister. A small look from Isabelle, however, was enough to send her scurrying on her way up the stairs to do as she'd been asked.

Isabelle had, for the most part, not bothered with the man in the back corner. He seemed more interested in taking a nap than he did in her company and so she let him sleep.

The commotion outside caught her attention as she waited for a reply from Charlotte. A small frown flitted its way across her lips as she stole a glance out the tavern windows. Seemed as though a robbery was going on down at the bank. Not that there was much she could do about it - a saloon girl armed only with a knife under her skirt would be more hindrance than help. Best to simply hope for the best at the moment and keep her customers - and her sister - from worrying or panicking.

Not long later another stranger entered, this time asking for a room. Before Isabelle had much of a chance to answer, however, the sleeping stranger under the stairs abruptly moved and pulled a knife, seemingly ready to attack. Immediately she moved to place herself firmly in front of her sister while her eyes narrowed ever so slightly in the man's direction. From his random noises and mutterings, she almost wondered if he was deranged. Before she could try and dissolve the situation, however, the woman that had just entered walked up to the man and began a conversation.

For a moment or two, she listened warily. It didn't seem as though they were connected to the bank robbery, but their conversation was anything but lighthearted. Worrying things may grow worse, she turned to glance at Addy. "Addy, go on upstairs and get a room ready, please."

The girl seemed to hesitate at first, but then quickly ran off to do as she'd been asked. Isabelle watched for a moment, making sure the dark-haired girl was out of sight before turning her attention back to the two strangers.

"You'd best keep that knife put away, you hear? I won't have you scaring off customers,"
she commented curtly to man. Her hand lingered near her skirt just in case, though she hoped it wouldn't come to any of that. Especially not with most of the town's enforcers currently preoccupied.

"As for you..." She gave the woman a glance. "My sister will have a room ready for you shortly. Now. Can I get either of you something to drink?"

After a morning of making breakfast at the tavern, Willow was currently taking a break and looking around the market to buy more supplies. It hadn't been incredibly busy lately but that was to be expected as summer would soon be coming to an end and fewer people traveled during the winter months, you would get a few from time to time often people who had no other choice but to travel.

As soon as she was fully stocked on supplies, Willow thought it best she head back, things would undoubtedly pick up soon and she needed to be there in order to cook food for the customers. Another normal day it seemed that is of course until the sound of gunfire filled the air and soon a commotion appeared outside the bank. Willow turned noticing as three enforces were quickly on the scene, granted this town was not the most peaceful, not town was these days, but never did she expect something like this to happen especially in the middle of the day.

Deciding it best not to get involved, Willow headed back to the tavern in a hurry, only to walk in to another strange and rather spine chilling scene. Two new faces and it seemed the man who had been sleeping was now awake holding a knife at one of the two women with in the room, although her reaction it probably what caused a slight shiver in Willow. Not wanting to linger to long Willow took a deep breath and walked in "Hi Isabelle, it would appear things picked up a bit while I was gone" Willow said to the redhead giving a small smile "I have a feeling, people will be a lot more riled up when they come today" she said, referring to the commotion that was currently happening outside.

Well then. Perhaps this wasn't the sleepy town she had been expecting after all.
Charlotte had mumbled a thanks to the lady-Isabelle? As people started to stream in the doors, she smoothly pulled her deck of cards out of her gun holster and shuffled them to relax herself. As usual, one of them was missing.
Sighing and smoothly turning around on her stool, she addressed the tavern. "Anyone seen a 4 a clubs?"
A dead silence draped itself over the place, and Charlotte was worried for a second before realizing there was a ruckus going on down the street. Tavern goers mumbled anxiously among themselves, and with a pang, she made the connection between the conversations she had heard earlier. It was a bank robbery, she was sure of it.
The initial excitement was rapidly dying down, and Charlotte went along with it. She turned back to Isabelle, waiting patiently for her to wrap up her chatter. "These rooms free?"

Adrian Montero

"The Quicksilver"

Adrian had been keeping an eye on the movements inside the bank, when a woman clad in all black attire. It was rather strange to see a traveling woman place herself in harms way for a town she had no relations with. Bounty hunter perhaps? Adrian pondered this for a moment as Lex handled the woman and Vivian interrogated the two she had captured earlier and came up with some troubling results.

Adrian listened to Lex speak for a moment, and would let out a sigh. "I hate killing... but if we don't. More will die. I get it." Adrian spoke sincerely. His voice was soft and ached for the man inside. Not as a fellow mutation, but as a human being. Anyone who knew Adrian personally, knew he was a bit of a softy at heart, but he took up the gun for a reason. Order had to be restored.

Adrian took a tight grasp of his gun and took in a deep breath which was cut short by what he saw in the building. It was subtle, but it was slowly becoming harder to see with in the bank. It wasn't long before he could no longer see the hostages. "Something's happening inside the bank. Everything is..." Adrian stopped in the middle of his sentence as he focused the silver under his clothing to gather around his left arm and right hand which held the silver revolver.

With his blood pumping, Adrian spun around to kick the door forward. Before him was the scared outlaw who had nearly dodged the door as it swung inward. The frightened man was easy to pull into the wall next to the door way. He wouldn't look at the man, however, as the outlaw mutation still had his hand outstretched towards him. He had been a bit shocked when realizing the room had been darkening and it wasn't of his own ability, but the sudden entrance of Adrian grabbed his attention once again. Thanks to Vivian, Adrian knew what to watch out for and quickly lifted his arm in time to block a blast of light which burned away his sleeve and reflected off the silver armor which covered his arm in large plates. Instead of blasting Adrian or the scared outlaw away, a hole had been made into the roof instead though the unnatural darkness quickly over took the area that had been lit up.

Vivian had sat by to allow the others to mingle and work out a plan of action. The guns were most important apparently, so she would have to set her sights on such. Of course, she obviously wasn't the only one taking advice from Lex, as My. Grumpy Grits himself had told of the ebony-clad newcomer. Smirking to herself, she looked up to Morrigan on her shoulder and moved the bird to the ground beside her. Rolling and popping the joints in her neck, she was ready to move along with whatever happened next. Again Lex spoke about the necessities of the situation and she had to agree. ""I'm not working up tears no matter the casualties on the bandits' side." she said, moving to a crouch and glancing at the man she'd threatened.

Of course, Quicksilver mentioned then that it was getting darker inside of the room and she nodded once more, turning to the crow at her side. "Run distraction, Morr." she croaked softly, a mixture of human and low squawks. "The dark inside means no light going in, so I want you tapping from window to window. Mimic sounds, do your thing. An' don' get shot." That should cover enough to get the men to think they were outnumbered more-so than they thought. The bird flew off and soon, cries, croaks, and pecking could be heard from window to window.

Adrian jumped into the fray and another shot of light flashed inside, spooking the bird at work and forcing her to fly off. Stupid avian. Of course, there was darkness afterward, and Viv could see naught of what was going on within. So she decided to take the darkness as an advantage and gave Lex a quick salute before moving off around behind the building to the window nearest the back. Thankful for the light trick obscuring her opening of the window, she crawled inside and found herself behind the counter. Reaching out, she found the teller's hand and shushed the woman as she jerked away from her touch."No no miss. I'm getting y'all out of here. Stay silent," she whispered before guiding the woman back through the dark and out the window.

One down and four to go, but it was nearly impossible to see who was where. Looked like it was time to get the gun, and she knew just the nippy little vermin who'd help her.

Nothing left to g i v e

At least the woman had gone off when she was told. Meddlesome types tended to just get in the way more than anything. Better to have a team that at least knew each other enough to come to some kind of agreement. The other two probably didn't think the best of him, but at least they seemed to understand his reasoning. While there wasn't much of a plan to go on, they were prepared to move into action. Or, at least, were prepared to do something, when the lights started going out. An odd development, but one that could be to their advantage. Whatever was going on, it was time to move in.

Adrian went first, and seemed to be drawing the attention of the mutant. He gave a nod to Vivian as she snuck around in order to be their big surprise. His powers were useless in this darkness, but he knew how to shoot and was very good at wrestling. Without sight, he might be able to take down his enemies before they could figure out where to point the gun. Not only that, but he could keep his head up, knowing no innocents would get caught in this particular crossfire.

Lex moved in, running low and with his gun out, back to the wall. He ran into one of the outlaws, that was yelling in the confusion and firing blindly towards the light that had temporarily lit up Adrian and the man he'd pulled into cover. Lex took the moment to throw a heavy hook into the poor man's face. He staggered and fell backwards over a chair. Lex quickly stomped his boot onto the outlaw's nose, and heard a satisfying crack. He kicked away the man's dropped gun, and then shot with his own into his victim's kneecap. Thoroughly in pain and his weapon tossed away, that was one more down. A noisy attack, though, one that might draw fire. He crouched low by some of the hostages - a girl and a man. He thought the girl worked here, and he could only vaguely remember the other bloke - Isaak? Ishmeal? Something like that. Either way, there was going to be more bullets flying and they were in danger.

"Get to the exit, now! Before these bastards figure everything out. I'll stick close until you're out, but then you gotta run and find a safe place to hide." He couldn't really make out their expressions, but he hoped to the Lord that they didn't try to be heroes or something of the sort. If they ended up dead, it'd be a dumb tragedy. Not only that, but a lot of paper work and blame that would probably end up on the enforcers' shoulders. Mutants incapable of keeping people safe despite being trusted with that authority, et cetera, et cetera.

He decided that he would keep himself firmly between them and the remained few bandits. Lex had survived a wound or two, and frankly he was willing to accept the possibility of dying. He viewed it with near indifference at times. His life revolved around this work - to Lex it was either die proud or live as an incompetent coward. He'd prefer the former. So he raised his gun, and kept his eyes wide, straining in the dark for a shine of light - that of the mutant, or the flash of a gun from one of the human outlaws. Hurry, Vivian, he thought, hoping she would interfere soon and at least get the guns out. The mutant would be a problem - his powers were his weapons, and Lex couldn't neutralize him so easily unless he had enough light to shut the b*****d down.

Nathan slowly turned to Isabelle, a look of expectancy on his face. "If yer gonna draw, then draw." He said irritably, "I don't give a shite either way." Without a second word, he turned back to Luka.

You, pretty face? HA!

"Quit flirtin' with me, darlin'. I don't do that whole...romantic relationships thing. Too messy whent he going gets rough, aye?" He leaned back. "And me accent is from a mystical land to the far north were faeries and goblin all muck about the in the marshes and cause all sorts of trouble with the unseelie and seelie courts. She Wolf- David Guetta

-She peered open one of her eyes and watched the young girl scamper on up stairs as she was told. Well seems her reflection drew out to much of the wolf. How bothersome. She sat up and eyed the red haired woman. She certainly did have a strong back bone. She could respect that sort of character. "No just the room for now. Sorry about all that fright ma'am. Just trying to calm him down a bit." She sighed. Yes bothersome. Seems she would have to pull on the sheep's skin again and blend in.

Some one else called out asking if they had seen a lost card. Luka wasn't interested in sniffing around for a card. So her golden eyes fell over her dark companion. Who quite caught her off guard with the flirting bit. But at the end he had her laughing again. Oh thats what he meant. She tapered the laugh off into a chuckle as her head leaned against her hand and she watched him with amused eyes. "Mhmmm indeed, that would get rather messy." Because Luka wasn't the sort of woman who was out for the passion. She would make him bleed. This wolf was not one to tumble about with. "I didn't say you had a pretty face to jump your bones. That bit is quite in your head." She sighed and grabbed her hat putting it back on her head. She was done with this conversation. Ireland. What a curious thing to say and she wondered what exactly he was talking about.

She walked away giving him her back, as she gathered her bags and the rifle covered in hide. As she walked back she paused and leaned down so the others did hear her next words. "Wolves don't breed with sheep." And there it was. He could rightfully take it for a insult if he so desired it to be. But this reflection was simply that. What fun was a reflection. She wanted another beast... another monster entirely than simply herself. But she was to tired to seek that out in him. She could wait and have her fun latter on. She slowly made her way up the stairs. Seeking out the room with the child. Eventually finding her. Luka stood in the doorway for a moment before she entered. "Be sure to keep your distance from the man i was talking to." Why? She wouldn't give a reason it was a warning. But Luka was funny like that. She had a softness when it came to the little lambs. She eyed the girl and fiddled about in her pouch. She dug out a few coins. IT wasn't a lot but she walked tot he girl and took her hand putting the coins in her palm. "Now get on out..." This tone wasn't so kind and more growled than anything. Meant to frighten her off.

The door to the kitchen swung open as Lulu passed through, a small barrel of brew under one arm. She held a plate of fruits she had peeled and cut in the other hand.

"Sorry for leavin' ya two up here by your lonesomes, my dear Isabelle! This 'un was a sneaky bugger!" She chuckled, pushing the barrel snug in between the crevice made between two bigger ones.

"To make it up to you, I brought you and Addy some snacks!" Lulu laid the plate on the bar table. She took the rag she had hung over her shoulder, folding it neatly into a square before starting to wipe down the bar.

She looked over the tavern while she was at it. More new faces. Though that was nothing new, she grinned to herself. Always is nice to have some company! She thought, oblivious to the heavy atmosphere that had hunkered itself down in some parts of the tavern.

"Addy, sweet pea! Where ever ya are, I have some grub for ya!" She started to polish away at the glasses kept under the bar; Not that any of the usual rabble cared for clean glasses. It was just seeing a little shine in em' made em' look like jewels! Least' that's what her pa would say.

For a brief second, Isabelle's attention was drawn to the saloon's doors as they swung open yet again, this time bringing Willow's familiar face along with them. It was a small sense of relief to see her there - at least now Isabelle knew she was safe. Though for how long was anyone's guess. It seemed things had calmed down...at least a little, but she wondered if they would stay that way.

Her attention was drawn sharply back towards the two strangers, however, as the man spoke to her. Her lips creased into a small frown and her hand rested lightly on her hip. How he came to the conclusion she was going to draw a weapon on him was beyond her. She didn't recall giving any indication that she'd planned to. His statement was vexing, however, in the sense it seemed more a challenge than anything else. Very irritating. "Darlin', if I had any intention of drawing anything, I'd have already done so. Now, settle yourself down. There really isn't any need to get so riled up."

For a moment, she let her gaze follow along the floor, attempting to find Charlotte's lost card. "Willow, love, you didn't happen to see a card on your way in, did you?" She wasn't overly concerned about it, given their current predicament, but thought to at least try and bring the tenseness of the atmosphere down a little.

From the corner of her eye she spied the one stranger heading up the stairs. There was a pang of worry, though she didn't show it. Though disconcerting to say the least, the woman thus far hadn't seemed as though she had any ill intentions towards her sister.

Just then the kitchen door swung open, bringing in Lulu. That was certainly a relief. Her cheery attitude was certainly most welcome as well. "Thanks, Loo'. Addy's upstairs getting a room ready, but I'm sure she'll appreciate them when she gets back."

Addy found her way to the nearest room from the top of the stairs and set herself to work tidying it up. Not that it needed much, she made sure to always keep the rooms nice and neat. Isabelle had once told her their tavern was probably the cleanest in all the west - which had made Addy beam with delight. It was, after all, her job to keep things clean and to know that she was doing well in her task only drove her to strive even harder.

After only a few short minutes, she heard footsteps coming up the stairs and approaching the room. Curiously she glanced over, swallowing hard when she realized it was the frightening woman from downstairs. The woman spoke a warning to her, which caused her to tremble slightly, though the girl tried her hardest not to show it. She gave only a small nod to show she understood, while mentally making a note to do just as the woman said. Not that she'd had any plans to talk to the man downstairs anyway. No, she planned to stay as far away from him as possible.

Nervously she watched as the woman approached her, though her nervousness quickly turned to curiosity as the woman dropped a few coins into her hand. Usually people paid their way downstairs, but then, Lulu hadn't been there and Isabelle had been trying to calm that man down, so...

She didn't have much time to finish the thought as the woman started speaking to her again. Addy turned her head in the woman's direction, but she seemed far less friendly this time. Eyes widening slightly, she let out a soft squeak as she hurried from the room and back down the stairs.

It seemed Lulu was back - she heard the woman calling for her just as she made it to the stairs. Scurrying down them, she noted that Willow had also come in. Both of them were people that she liked - they were nice, and their presence helped ease her nervousness despite Nathan still being there. Walking over to the bar counter where Lulu had placed the plate of food, she set down the handful of coins that the woman had given her and pushed them towards Lulu before pointing towards the stairs in an attempt to convey it was payment for one of the rooms.
