〈〈〈 ᗩᙢᕊᙓᖇ ᒪᙓᗩ ᕼᘮᘐᖺᙓᔕ 〉〉〉"Hey." Amber smiled and waved a little as she was greeted by her friends. She looked them over, one by one, observing their expressions and body language. There was definitely tension, and definitely a fight of some sort going on, just like Roxan said. Nodding in understanding, she turned back to the line and stood on her toes for a moment, adjusting her glasses as she looked at the menu board. Nothing particularly new, or at least nothing that interested her. Most of them were big fancy words she didn't completely understand.
As Nathan offered to pay, she blushed and blinked. "A-are you sure? Um, thank you.", she said, biting her lip and looking at the floor shyly. She wasn't one to accept gifts very well, or when people paid for her. Even with her friends she was fairly reluctant. As the cashier snapped his fingers to get her attention, she jumped. "Chai latte, please.", she spat out, shaking her head to get herself to focus again. Amber smiled at the cashier, reassuring him she was fine.
Once she had her drink, she leaned against the wall and waited for the others to get theirs. She loved the smell and taste of chai. It kind of reminded her of the forests during fall, for some reason. With a shrug, she walked to school with her friends and made her way to English. It was one of her favorite classes, since she loved to read. She leaned forward on her desk and listened to the teacher.
