Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
==== ☠ ======== ☠ ====

Strolling out of the House Zero had become bored of the 'Woe to the dead guy' party as he walked out the front door, still chipper as ever as he walked down the drive to his 1951 Chevy Fleetline Deluxe that he had 'bought' off a moonshiner that was passing through chicago when he was there for a job, and had sort of fallen in love with it as he climbed in, turning on the radio as a voice came through the radio. *-In other news Atomic Testing in the Mojave is set to be done tonight at 8pm, The U.S. Army stating that the tests are in fact safe to view from the strip and will not have any adverse affects on its citizens...This public announcement is being brought to you by the Lucky 38 Casino; Lucky 38! Take Her for a Spin! And now for one of my personal favorites, here's 'Maybe' heard here on Galaxy News Radio with your host, Mr.Las Vegas* "Oo I love this song!!" Zero said with delight as he clapped his hands and started up his car, heading off to the Blacktop Diner for a cup of coffee and something light to eat before he wasted the rest of the night gambling and probably chasing every bit of til he could before the test started, it helped too the diner was maybe a 20 minute drive from the house, and five from the strip where his penthouse was.

Strolling into the diner Zero was whistling "Fly me to the Moon" to himself and flipping a poker chip from the TOPS casino when his tune stopped abruptly, a soft clatter sounding at his feet as the poker chip hit the ground. It was her...his little summer rose, his honeybee, his only love. It was that cold hearted back-stabbing little runaway Akane at the other end of the room, serving drinks to a couple of greaser punks.

Seeing as the small trio hadn't noticed his arrival a dark smirk crossed his face as he turned to the jukebox, pulling out a quarter and shuffling though until he found it. Hitting another button he waited until the record began to play as he pulled his brim down low to cover his eyes as he started snapping his fingers to the rhythm of "Ain't that a Kick in the Head?" by Dean Martin, the song incredibly sentimental to both Zero and the Bombshell Harpy at the bar, since it was this song that had played at the bar they met at. " How lucky can one guy be? I kissed her and she kissed me.." he sang along, strolling towards the counter as he danced side to side. All the while he reached into his coat, pulling out his switchblade as he twirled it before pressing it open as he threw it past Akane, making sure the razor sharp blade grazed her cheek and embedded into the wall behind her and startling the two greasers at the bar as he continued walking with a smirk. " Like the fella once said, Ain't that a kick in the head?" He sang, scooping up an ice pick off a nearby table as one of the greasers came up to him. "The hell ya thi-!?" He started to say before Zero drove the eye pick through his eye, killing him as the man crumpled to the floor in front of Zero as he casually stepped over him.

" The room was completely black, I hugged her and she hugged back" He continued as the other greaser pulling a knife, "Like the sailor said, quote; 'Ain't that a hole in the boat.?' " Without even looking he pulled his .45 and fired three rounds square into the kids chest, killing him as well as the rest of the patrons cleared out right quick in fear. " My head keeps spinning, I go to sleep and keep grinning! If this is just the beginning, My life is gonna be beeeeautiful!!!" He sang spinning around as he pulled off his fedora and tossed it away, both his eyes and the barrel of his signature pistol leveling on Akane as he grinned like a madman. His eyes burned with delight and hatred as he approached her, not even bothering to sing anymore as he climbed up onto the bar and dropped down behind it so he was right in front of her, the barrel pressed to her head as he stared her down, his breathing ragged as his hand started shaking before he simply dropped the gun. Raising his hands he shrugged before out of no where he wrapped his arms tightly around her, kissing her passionately as he picked her up and pushed her against the counter, shoving bottles and glasses out of the way as they crashed to the floor around them before he pulled a way, looking at her with an estatic and loving glare. "I thought I'd never see you again my little Italian Dream" he said softly, barely pulling his lips away from hers as he brushed a few stray hairs from her face, "Your still as beautiful as the day I met you"

Jaycee pours Hanna's a glass whiskey and gave her little cup a soft clink and a tired smile. Idling in the kitchen as he thought back to the last few weeks when he order Tidus executions. If he was honest he has been planning this day for a year and half. Ever since the incident with the guns, Jaycee couldn't stand by his brother's idiocy any longer. The old man has been slipping, but didn't want to step down at all. Mistakes have been happening all the over the place and people were starting to talk.

Eventually, Jaycee left the kitchen and saw Hanna sitting on the couch next to Era. Watching the woman treating Era like a daughter was a side he hasn't seen before. It brought a warm feeling that didn't have anything to do with the number of alcohol he been drinking. Maybe it was time to talk about having kids of their own. The idea was interrupted with the reappearance of black widow herself.

Jaycee dug a finger in his ear as Hetty started yapping in his ears about his performance. ”Like nails on a chalkboard.” Jaycee spoke in a demeaning manner. Digging out a piece of ear wax and flicking it in the ebony woman directions.

Rude, but Jaycee wasn't raise to respect women. A habit that he was halfheartedly trying to break out of. Especially when he has a woman like Hetty, who couldn't keep their big mouth shut. Jaycee wonder why his brother couldn't marry some dumb brod if he was just in it for the looks. Hetty had no quality as far as the dreaded man could see and wonder how his brother married this bird for as long as he did.

Raising an eyebrow as he watches C.T approach Hetty. A bad feeling started to grow, but he drowns it with his whiskey. C.T was acting way too comfortable around hetty. From the touch of her face to the obviously loud whisper. The gestures almost look intimate. Masking his curiosity with a frown as he thought about playing along with C.T game of fake pleasantry, but he had enough of people fake personalities for one day. “c**k a doodle doo.” Jaycee softly chuckles at his own private joke.

”Do introduce us to your new ...friend.” The way he said the word 'friend' with a slight more emphasis. Implying the relationship between the two women were more than just friends. As Jaycee sat down next to Hanna. Happy to finally be off his feet, the older man closes his eyes briefly. Able to relax even with an assassin in the room, because whether or not Hetty knows about C.T profession, Jaycee was more than confident in his fiance. She was his body guard before they started dating after all. Although she spent more times, avoiding his advances than actually protecting him, because who would dare lay a finger on him? No one. Not if they want to breath their next breath.

HETTY AUDITORRE

Hey sexy, who are you? CT, Era, Hanna, Jaycee
Where am I again? Auditorre Main House
Do you know how I feel? Enjoyment

She gets too hungry for dinner at eight
She like the theatre and never comes late

Hetty turned to see CT walking toward her, openly approaching her in front of the others. She supposed it wasn't that big of a deal, considering it was only the replacement, his b***h of a bride, and the brat that were around. "Hello." She said in a low voice, a sensual smile spreading across her face. Then she mentioned being introduced to the rest of them. A frown flitted across her face. She couldn't think of a reason such a woman would want to be introduced to such lowlifes, but then Jaycee jumped in. The way he emphasized friend made her smile again. He was so traditional, so easily flustered. "This is my friend, CT." She said with a sickly sweet smile. "We've met recently, but we've gotten so very close." She looked directly at Jaycee, a devious twinkle in her eye. "So very close, you could say we're bed-mates." Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Era giving her a strange look. Of course, the innocent little twit didn't understand something unless it was spelled out for her. But Hetty wasn't going to be that kind. "Don't worry, darling. You'll never have to think about it. Ozzie and Harriet would never let you." She leveled another sweet smile as Hanna, sitting beside the brat, and turned back to Jaycee.

"Now how about you stop stalling and ready my dear Tidus' will." She said, settling in her seat. There was another strange look from Era. Of course, the brat hoped her father had left her everything. But she didn't have the stuff to convince a man to give her everything. Poor little twit would always have to hope that someone would take pity on her. It was pathetic, really.

She never bothers with people she hates

She could think of a number of ways to have him sit with her a little longer, but it was the formal use of her last name that stop her. The message was clear, but Akane wonder if she did something wrong. Did she comes on to strongly? Was her intentions only one-sided? “Take care, Officer.” Akane bid her farewell as she watches him go. Resting her chin against her knuckles as she was left alone with the blonde hottie return to his job and more likely out of her life. She probably chase him away with her forwardness.

“Better luck next time.” The waitress had returned with Jullian meal and Akane let out a soft laugh. “Guys like him give girls like me only one chance.” Akane sighs as she stood up from the booth. Grabbing her forgotten cup of coffee, “Let me help Molly. You can take a break while I work the tables.” Akane suggested. Hoping a little hard work will save a little face. “Akane, you don’t know how much of a blessing it is having you here. Unlike my own daughter.”

Shaking her head, Akane removes her jacket and traded it for Molly apron. Walking behind the counter, Akane saw a few greaser type rough housing at the end of the bar. Rolling her eyes, Akane plaster on a plastic smiles as she approached the group with a sway of her hips. The fact she was wearing a cocktail dress instead of boring gray did catch a few eyes. The two men in leather jackets and smiles as greasy as their hair flirted with her. “Anything I can do for you boys?” Akane asked notebook in hand. Ignoring their cheap pickup lines, Akane jotted down two cokes for them. “Two cokes then. Be right back.” Akane turned around and grabbed two bottles.

Having no other customers to serve, Akane mingles with the guys. They were nice to talk to if you want to forget earlier failure. When the juke box began to play a familiar song, Akane sighs dreamingly. “I love this song!” Akane exclaimed. When suddenly she felt a sharp pain against her cheek. Touching her face, Akane felt a certain wetness that she was afraid to put a name to. “Woah, yer bleeding!” One of the slower witted greaser pointed out.

There in the flesh was her pudding, her muse and reason she has been running for so long. “Zendello.” Akane was sure people was fleeing the scene one the love of her life stab a man in the eye with an ice pick. The sting in her cheek was forgotten as the boom of the gun was fired into the other man's chest. Frozen in fear, Akane couldn’t move, she couldn’t speak as the man she fell in love with hop the bar counter and level the barrel of his gun in front of her eyes. Tears started to leak from her eyes

Her heart was racing with a mixture of suppressed emotions or from the gun. Matching breath to breath as she looked him in his eyes. As his hand started to shake, Akane knew he wasn’t going to kill her. Not today at least. Licking her lips, Akane tried to speak something to him. To calm the rage he rightfully has for her. Leaving him that day with only the faint scent of her perfume.

Akane was waiting for the abuse, the strikes of his fist or the pain of his words. Instead she was embraced. Her head tilted up in confusion, before her lips were claimed and devoured. Her back was pressed to the bar counter and she could hear a number of bottles being thrown carelessly off the edge. Even if some of them were rare or expensive, Akane couldn’t honestly find herself caring. Her focus was on the tongue caressing her mouth. It felt so good and she didn’t want to stop as she slowly drags her hands down to the front of his shirt. It was nice, but unfamiliar. Did he buy it himself? For some reason that he had something she didn’t know about annoyed her.

Between parted lips, he hurt her deeper than any insult. Shivering from his glare, Akane gripped the front of his shirt to steady her. “I’m sorry my muse.” Akane apologies and she was telling the truth. There has been many times since Felicano been born that Akane thought about returning to New York. To seek him and his forgiveness, but each time she’d somehow been able to convince herself that it was a bad idea. Now here he is, in the flesh. Kissing her and saying her precious pet name. Beside the corpses littering the ground with broken bottles, it was like old times. Okay, maybe there was a few corpses and broken bottle back then too. “I done something awful. Please forgive me.”

                                                                    Translation:

Jaycee didn’t need the change in tone of her voice to understand what type of friends she was suggesting. His eyes look at Era who didn’t look like she was understanding and he didn’t want to corrupt the girl by her step-mother influences by explaining the type of floozy she was being. “It’s good to have friends, for grieving purposes.”

“È la prima lettura volontà? Tidus’s lawyer is swinging by to read his will.” Jaycee corrected as he continue his drink. He didn’t care about the money, but he kind of hoping his brother give Hetty nothing. Just to put the woman in her place. She doesn’t deserve a damn thing.

The doorbell rang and alerted the occupants of the house of a visitor. Quietly, Jaycee stood up and approached the door. As he open the door, an elderly man with pepper gray hair enter the door way. The two spoke in hush whisper, before Jaycee gesture further into the room. The older man was a little older then Tidus and carried an expensive leather brief case. “I promise I won’t be long.”

“A few of you may know me already, but I’ll introduce myself anyway. I’m John Thomas. I work closely with Tidus over the years. Owe the man a big debt. His profession left him with a few matter that we discuss together in private.” The lawyer open his brief case and pulled out a manila folder. Inside was few papers.

                                                        “As I read:

To my baby brother and his wife to be Hanna. I am asking you to take care of my precious little desert flower. She is my pride and joy and I know I know I can count on family to make sure she continue to grow strong. In exchange for her care, if you accept, I leave you with this. Five thousand dollars for her care. Like our father before me, I entrust the entire family business to you.

Era, my beautiful desert flower Era. My, how much you have grown. I hope you continue to grow both in your music and as a wonderful young women. Your mother would had been proud to see the type of women you have grown up to be. Your inheritances and the home you grew in will be which has been safety put into saving until your eighteen birthday as well as the home you grew up in. Until then, I ask you to stay with your Uncle Jaycee and Aunt Hanna.

Lastly, to my wife Hetty, you rekindle a certain passion, a youthful love that a man my age haven’t felt for many years. I know our marriage wasn’t approve by many, you have suffer and still you stay strong beside me. Such strength in face of true tribulations need to be rewarded. You know family means a lot to me. . I believe you when you said you were not ready for children, but I know you love Era like a mother. The effort you made to be a wonderful mother to Era was not overlook in my accounts. I hope for that effort to continue until Era is of age. I ask you to spend every other weekend with her. If you can do this, I leave to you my sugar dove fifty thousand dollars. If not, then I can’t entrust you with any of the money I previously offer. “

Tucking the papers back into his suitcase. “You’ll be seeing your money in your respected accounts in the next week or so. Brining the drink up to her lips she sipped on the whiskey letting the warm feeling spread through her body. Yeah this is what she needed to get through the rest of the night with Hetty around. Looking back at Era when the girl questioned the need for being present. “I highly doubt your father left everything to her. Your father was smarter than that.” Her eyes narrowed as she looked to Hetty. If the man left more than a small token of money she would be surprised, the woman wouldn’t even adopt the man’s daughter. “You will still know that it will be yours.” She said before leaning back against the couch and giving Jaycee a kiss when he sat down. Resting her free hand on his knee she tried to ignore the two women across the room. Internally she was shaking her head at the fact that they Hetty was already moving on with her love life less than a week after her husband’s death…and with another woman no less. God what did her boss ever seen in that chick?

When the doorbell rang Hanna lifted her hand from where it had been resting allowing Jaycee to get up and answer the door. Waiting for her man to return she tapped her fingers against the glass in her hands. For her this whole thing was a bit awkward due to the fact she was not part of the family, yet. Though she really wanted to see Hetty get completely cut out of the will, although that probably was just a pipe dream.

When her fiancé came back she moved a little closer to him. Luckily this whole reading seemed as if it would go fast. Really everything in the will was to be expected at least that was until it got to Hetty’s section. All the compliments thrown in there, she could not imagine how Tidus thought Hetty loved Era. Then fifty grand! Though there was a catch. A small smile moved onto her face when the other woman was sentenced to actually be involved with the kid’s life in order to get her portion of the will. When everything was done and Jaycee walked the layer to the door Hanna turned her attention to Hetty waiting for the freak out likely to come.

HETTY AUDITORRE

User Image

Hey sexy, who are you? Jaycee, CT, Hanna, Era
Where am I again? Auditorre Main House
Do you know how I feel? Annoyed/Surprised/Pissed

She gets too hungry for dinner at eight
She like the theatre and never comes late

Hetty glared at Jaycee when he spoke in Italy. Everyone in the damn family had that knack, like they had to remind everyone they were so special because they spoke another language. This isn't Italy a*****e. She thought venomously. She watched as he went to sit on the other side of his wife. She rolled her eyes at the overt display of affection. Yes, we get it Harriet. You love Ozzie. The more she used the comparison the more she liked it. What the hell were they thinking anyway? They were the mafia. They had the entire city under their control, why were they trying so hard to look like the good guys? Everyone knew of their ruthlessness. And those that actually bought their act were too stupid to actually be of any help. It was just useless.

Hetty leaned back in her seat as the lawyer spoke. She didn't care about what Tidus had done for him. However, when he began reading the will she paid more attention. Of course he started by talking about the family. The beginning was all to be expected, Era lived with them, Jaycee got control of the business, blah blah blah. Then there was an entire section focused on Era. As if the little brat needs it. Hetty thought, narrowing her eyes. The amount of her inheritance wasn't named, but Hetty was certain it was sizable. For all her work in seducing Tidus, she couldn't completely sever his unnatural affection toward his daughter. But it wasn't the inheritance that annoyed her the most. She gets the HOUSE? Hetty's eyes widened slightly. She looked over to Era with a glare, to see the girl looking shocked. You dirty little liar. Hetty thought, narrowing her eyes. She had to have done something to get the house. Some manipulation, some secret deal. What man gives a 15 year old a building?

When it got to her part, Hetty couldn't help but beam. The two years hadn't been easy, but they'd been worth it. Just listen to how highly he spoke of her. She had to resist laughing out loud when it mentioned how much she obviously loved Era. Step aside, Marilyn I'm the best actress. She thought to herself. But everything came crashing down as the lawyer continued. The only way she was getting a cent is if she spent weekends with Era? Hetty gritted her teeth, her hands curling into fists. She'd slept with that miserable decrepit old man and this was the best she was getting? She rocked his world, gave him reason to live, and the b*****d went and put a condition on her inheritance? She looked back at the little brat, absolutely certain she'd done something to ruin all of this for her.

Hetty sat frozen in her seat while Jaycee walked the lawyer to the door. Era glanced at her once, furtively. She was still wide-eyed and looked almost sick to her stomach. That's right, "desert flower" Hetty thought acerbically. I know what you did.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me

Era listened closely to the will, knowing these were the last words she'd ever hear from her father. She smiled a bit when he called her "desert flower". It was his favorite pet name for her. And while she'd always brush it off when he spoke it aloud, it warmed her heart. But then the fuzzy feelings evaporated as the lawyer read on. Not only was Era getting something, she was getting the house! Era's eyes widened. She glanced around the room, as if truly seeing it for the first time. She loved that her father had left her such a gift but...she didn't know if she wanted to live in this city her entire life. Was this Tidus reminded her one last time that she belonged here? Or that she should be the next family leader? Papa, what were you up to? She thought.

Things got even stranger as the man continued to talk about how much Hetty loved her step-daughter. Era's quirked an eyebrow quizzically. Loved me? She thought. How could he possibly see that? As if to make things worse, Hetty's inheritance had a catch: she had to spend time with Era. A ball of lead appeared in Era's stomach. She knew her stepmother wanted that cash more than anything. She would subject Era to her presence twice a month if it meant getting the money. And Era could think of nothing worse than having to regularly spend time with the floozy. Honestly, how could her father have been so absolutely blind?

As Jaycee went to walk the lawyer to the door, Era stared at nothing. This was all so much to take in. She was going to have to spend time with the woman that hated her more than anyone else in the world. Era looked up, risking a glance at her step mother and met a fiery glare. A slight blush lit up her cheeks as she quickly looked away. She couldn't stand being in the same room with this woman, not when she was glaring daggers at her. Era mumbled some unintelligible excuse, standing up to leave.

"Not so soon, 'desert flower'." Era turned, her heart beating double time. Hetty stood up and moved toward her faster than she'd ever seen the woman move. "What did you do?!" Hetty yelled at her when she got closer. She leaned down in Era's face, till the teenager could smell her breath. "I...I didn't do anything." Era stuttered, holding up her hands to shield herself. "You little brat." Hetty hissed. "I didn't ******** that old b*****d for 2 years so some little whore could come and take everything away." Era was speechless. She knew Hetty didn't care all that much for her father, but to hear her say it so bluntly completely surprised her. Not to mention, she hadn't often heard such language.

After several moments, Era summoned her courage. "That's what you get for tricking him." She said in a shaky voice. "You lied for years. You don't deserve anything." Her voice gained a little bit of strength, although it was hard to maintain with the woman glaring at her. In a last-ditch attempt to get the last word, Era took a deep breath. "You're just a.... gold digging floozy." The next thing she knew, Hetty was literally snarling at her. The teenager barely had time to register the woman drawing her hand back.

SLAP! Era blinked in surprised, her cheek stinging. She didn't have time to regain her balance before Hetty was pushing her against the wall, her nails digging in to the girl's shoulders. "I should have sent you to a boarding school when I had the chance." Hetty hissed. "But rest assured I will make the weekends very painful." As she stood there, looking into the icy inferno of the woman's eyes, Era had no doubt she would keep that promise.

"So the great king has fallen," said the man as he leaned back in his chair with his boots on his desk, "Who woulda saw that comin'?" Swirling the liquid in his glass he answered his own question, "Everyone, I guess." Taking a sip, he tried to suppress a smile as he let his head fall back and his eyes close, allowing his body to feel the warmth of not only the rum, but the news that had shaken a majority of the family and its connections in the area. Their leader, employer, and friend to some, but commander to all, Tidus, had been found dead in his Las Vegas home, bloody and yet mysterious. The papers were going to have a field day.

A few quiet minutes passed before Nicholas called out into the hall for his secretary. "Marcie, get in here!" A mousy, underage girl appeared, nearly tripping over herself as she entered the office. "Y-Yes, s-s-sir?" With his head back and eyes still closed, the man waved his empty hand in the air, "Send a bouquet of whatever's in season to the Auditorres." "Th-Th-The Au-Auditorres, sir?" "Did I ********' stutter?" The secretary gave a jump as he boss raised his voice. "N-No sir, it-it-it's just that, those people aren't s-s-supposed to be the m-m-m-most reputable. Sh-Sh-Sh-Sh-Should we be associating with th-them?" Now opening his eyes, the man raised his head enough to look at the trembling girl at the door. She was young, impressionable, and a bit stupid. She had come in weeks ago begging for a job, claiming to have started to make her way out west to try and become an actress and then her bus fare having run out in the city. For a second he had felt something in the black pit where his heart was supposed to be and offered her the job. Later that evening he found out that feelings was just sobriety and had regretted the decision since then.

"I don't remember askin' you for your political standpoint or beliefs. Just send the goddamn flowers and make sure the card reads: 'With greatest sympathy, your family at Spurs.' You got all that?" The girl merely nodded before hurrying back to her desk, nearly slamming the office door in the process. "Idiot," he said before straightening himself up, finishing his drink, and giving out a massive and nearly chaotic laugh. "I guess Jaycee wasn't kiddin' about movin' up in the ranks." For a moment his hand hovered over the phone. Nicholas was playing his possibilities in his head before making a move. On one hand, he could call his cousin and express his faux-condolences and see what the next move would be. On the other, he could call Malachi and check in on him and the kids. With the new development in the family, the police would be scrambling to make some sort of move, or at least some sort of investigation to begin probing inside the inner workings of the family if their defenses were down due to the murder. "Choices, choices," he said as his fingers hovered over the receiver. The rum was already beginning to work its way from his liver and into the rest of his body as the smuggler picked up the phone and dialed his lover's phone number. "Best cover my bases before havin' some fun."

Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
==== ☠ ======== ☠ ====

Frowning slightly Zero placed a finger to Akane's lips as he quietly shushed her. "Don't worry sweetie, all is forgiven" he said with a warm smile before kissing her again, things between them about to quickly get heated as Zero's hands started sliding down her cocktail dress.....until a wet rag smacked him in the side of the face stopping him cold as he slowly pulled the rag off his face to see a very agitated old woman standing a few feet away with a broom tapping her foot. "Zee! How dare you come in here and think you can just take your pretty young whatever here and break all my dishes!? Do you realize how much it costs to replace those young man?? And your not leaving till you clean up this mess!" she scolded, the cleaner looking around at the broken dishes around him and his girl. "Oh...um, sorry Molly...Guess I got a little carried away" he said with a sheepish laugh as the woman walked over and forced the two apart, handing zero a broom and dustpan as she picked up his pistol and set it on the counter. "I swear you have to be the most childish boy I have ever met!! Can't even have the decency to take this young girl somewhere nice before sleeping with her!" he said as she stormed off, shoving one of the dead greasers out of the way with her shoe like it was common for her.

"Um....looks like that little reunion of ours is gonna have to wait sweetheart" He said as he set the dustpan down and took off his coat, leaving it on the counter as he started sweeping up the broken glass and ceramic plates. "Old lady is always so mad when I break her stuff....it's never a 'Zee! How nice to see you! Sit down! have a cup of coffee!' Noo, it's always 'Zee learn how to shoot straight, you broke out another window'...sheesh no need to be all picky about it ya crazy old coot" he mumbled as he swept, obviously seeming defeated as he cleaned. What was funny too is how calm both Molly and Zero seemed to be acting even though he'd just killed two men in front of a full diner and was about to get re familiarized with his little Italian Dream right there on the counter. But if anything would be apparent to Akane it was that the two knew each other, and very well at that judging by the way she had just laid the smackdown on the cleaner. "Hey sweetie in my coat pocket should be a stack of cash, could you see molly gets it so she doesn't come knocking at my door again at 5am? that was really weird answering the door without any of my clothes on to that old lady...."

It was hard to play the role of the innocent newcomer when Hetty just everything all so very obvious. It made C.T want to rethink the role she had cast herself as. The vicious lover moonlighting as the ditsy lover wasn't going to work out to well when Hetty was doing a very good job shining a light on the latter part of C.T's character. Shame really, C.T wanted to surprise them Jaycee a bit more, ah well, it wasn't like she was winning in all this, she hadn't done anything but say hi and she was receiving a prize for it.

Namely Hetty's affection. If that's what one wanted to call it, it was a rare thing, not something that C.T was given in troves even though C.T thought she was a very good....host. To Hetty, she just wasn't given to many compliments for her actions, despite the sex they didn't do anything that would suggest that they were a couple, none of that cuddling, no talking for hours on end about absolutely nothing, none of that. It was like a passionate transaction between them, one that they paid to each other to keep the both of them just the least bit interested in each other so that they wouldn't move on to bigger and better things. It was weird and probably not healthy, but it was a comfortable trench, and as of now C.T didn't feel like climbing out of it, though Hetty was setting the foundation to a ladder with her words. They didn't usually make mention of their 'arrangement' in public as blatantly as Hetty was. But C.T ever the actress just played along, still grinning widely playing off the words Hetty spoke to Libera. "It'd be safer if you never found out anyway." C.T chuckled

But now on to the will, tale of what C.T and Hetty did in their bed could wait until later, the lawyer arrived shortly, and the reading of the will was nothing like C.T expected, it went a lot quicker for one, probably because no one here was actually mourning, except for the maybe Tidus' daughter, other than that, this moment was more about acquisition than anything else. Jaycee would get the business which C.T smirked at, she was loving the affect her actions was having on the people in this room. Libera would be getting money in an undisclosed amount as well as this very house. C.T raised a brow at that, it was kind of cruel in her opinion to grant the girl the house, seeing as her father had been murdered in it, but she supposed it didn't much matter what she thought. Hetty didn't look pleased, that was for sure.

But speaking of Hetty, finally her name came up, C.T couldn't help but pay a little extra attention, seeing as whatever happened next would effect her as well, determining if she kept Hetty, or if she would be returning to an empty bed from now on. It wasn't looking good for C.T, Tidus had nothing but praise for Hetty, and the woman was beaming, until, Era was mentioned and it all went to hell.

50 grand, no small amount of money, but it had an anchor to it. Bi-weekly visits with Era. Something that Hetty was seriously pissed about, C.T hid her smile from the woman, The results favored the Russian, she got to keep her bed mate, even if said bed mate would be pissy for some time to come. and there she goes C.T chuckled as Hetty approached a very meek looking Libera, her anger everything but hidden as she unleashed her fury on the girl. It was fun to watch really, C.T always found this dominant side of Hetty sexy, even if it was a bit scary. Though something told her that she should step in instead of just watching Hetty chew the girl out, this couldn't end well. As if on cue, Libera decided to talk back, and not just in defense, she bit back at Hetty nastily and C.T sighed shaking her head with a tsk, some people just needed to know when to shut up, and take it.

Slap!

Crash!

Ok, that was a bit more than she had expected, Hetty looked like she was going to rip Libera apart, and that's when C.T moved, not hearing what Hetty said to the girl as she ran up behind the woman, separating the two, using more technique than strength to force Hetty to release Libera, and from there she pushed Hetty away from the girl and around her, creating a divide between Hetty and the others, using herself as a border. Oh the things she did for this woman. Well, I think that's our cue to leave, thanks for the free food and hospitality." C.T said her voice still friendly and her grin still as wide as ever, almost as if she hadn't seen Hetty assault a teenaged girl, she turned to Hetty, nodded her head towards the entrance, "Start walking." C.T said evenly to her, under her breath so no one else would hear. C.T would inch out behind Hetty, making sure to keep her eyes on the woman. They may be nothing but acquaintances with benefits, but C.T would be damned if she let anyone damage what was hers.

Once Jaycee left the air seemed to leave the room. Era seemed to excuse herself and Hanna nodded knowing that the whole thing had to be tough on the girl. Though Era didn’t even make it to the door before Hetty was on her feet yelling. Hanna remained seated on the couch as Hetty caught the girl’s attention. Gripping the couch cushion Hanna tried to not get involved with what was unfolding. She hoped that there would just be a few exchange of words and Hetty would leave, but it soon became apparent that the woman was not going to leave quietly. It was only when Hetty became face to face with the girl did Hanna get up from where she was seated. Moving slowly over to the two she kept some distance not quite sure what would happen. “Hetty! I would suggest you calm yourself.” She said when the other woman called Era a brat. Then Era did something completely unexpected. The girl actually stood up for herself and started yelling at Hetty.

Before Hanna could step in and prevent Hetty from hurting Era the other woman brought her hand down on the child’s face. Running up to the two as they collided with the wall Hanna was about to get a hand on Tidus’ former wife when C.T pulled her ‘friend’ away. It was probably good that C.T got to the other woman before Hanna did. Right now Hanna wanted to kill the woman, not only had she targeted a member of the family but it was also a child. Looking down at Era she surveyed the girl. “Why don’t you go upstairs Era.” She had a feeling that was likely the only thing the kid wanted to do at the moment. She would go check on Era later after everything downstairs was resolved.

Turning back to Hetty and C.T, Hanna pulled out a small knife she kept on her person at all times. “Don’t you dare leave Hetty…” She hissed as she walked to the two women trying to edge their way to the front door. Glaring at C.T she grabbed Hetty by the shoulder putting herself between the two women. Carefully she lifted the knife, holding it against Hetty’s dress just below her ribs. “I swear if you lay a finger on anyone in the family again I will gut you…and your little friend here won’t be able to stop me.” Looking back at Hetty’s new roommate Hanna gave C.T a look that dared the woman to challenge her on the threat. Letting go of Hetty she looked back at Jaycee waiting for the man to rip the woman a new one before making the leave.

HETTY AUDITORRE

User Image

Hey sexy, who are you? CT, Era, Hanna, Jaycee
Where am I again? Auditorre Main House
Do you know how I feel? Angry/Annoyed

She gets too hungry for dinner at eight
She like the theatre and never comes late

Hetty was about to wring the brat's neck when suddenly someone was pulling her away. She expected it to be Harriet, playing mommy once again. To her surprise, it was CT. "What are you doing?!" She said loudly, pulling her arm away from the woman. Hetty didn't take orders from anyone, especially not the assassin she was ********. The couple wasn't going to hurt her. The police didn't buy the "robbery gone wrong" fairytale Jaycee had tried to sell them. The only reason they weren't already swarming around the place was due to common courtesy. The minute it was no longer "disrespectful" uniforms would be infesting the house. Another death so soon would screw them over completely.

Of course Harriet had to interject her own two cents. She told Era to go upstairs and the brat immediately obliged. Not so strong, are we flower? Hetty thought with a smirk. CT was pulling her towards the door when the "mother" turned on Hetty. The knife in her side was a bit of a shock, but the woman wasn't going to let her know that she took her threat seriously. Hetty looked her in the eyes evenly. As Hanna stepped aside, a smirk played across Hetty's lips. She wasn't even a legal part of that family and she was already trying to act like a "mama bear". It was just so amusing, she couldn't help herself. "My, how protective." She said, suppressing a giggle. "You really think you can be that girl's mother, don't you? Be just as good as 'queen Naomi' was?" At that, she had to laugh. But after a second, she grew serious. And a little mean...err, meaner than she already was. "You two are just the replacements. The substitutes for the real thing. And under your hubby-to-be's leadership, the name Auditorre wont mean s**t." Her parting words said, Hetty turned on her heel and left, assuming CT would follow. Once they were outside and safely away from Ozzie and Harriet, the gold digger turned on her lover, giving CT a glare. "Don't ever try to give me an order again."

Things could never just go smoothly, though all semblance of control had left as son as the guest filtered out of the party and Hetty grew comfortable enough to let her hair down, so to speak. C.T had been prepared for violence, she had come armed for the occasion, her weapon going undiscovered, heh, and she had really hoped she wouldn't need a gun for today. But people just wanted to make things hard for her.

If only Hanna hadn't tried to act so damned tough. C.T would have let Hanna pound her chest and just threaten Hetty, by all means Hetty deserved it and her jumping in right away would have possibly forced a conflict instantly, one that would for sure end in bloodshed. But Hanna couldn't just take a small victory. No, the b***h kept looking at her, challenging her, as if her little knife made her victorious. As if just saying she could C.T wouldn't be able to stop her, made it true, when the truth was, C.T would mop the floor with her. C.T had half a mind to voice her thought, but Hetty spoke up again, taunting Jaycee and his b***h before walking away, leaving C.T standing alone with the two.

The woman let out a long sigh, before reaching into the small of her back and pulling out her M1911. "I tried being nice today Jaycee." C.T said with a shrug,no longer hiding her heritage behind that fake Canadian accent, the time for games were over. C.T chambered a round before she leveled the gun on Hanna. "But you've seem to have forgotten who I am and what I am capable of, and that hurts Jaycee, but lucky for you I'm feeling benevolent so I will let you all off with a warning today instead of letting my gun do the talking." C.T said before motioning towards Hanna very pointedly with the gun. "Keep that puppy on a leash from now on, if she ever even thinks about putting a hand on me or mine again, I'll end her, and you know I'll enjoy doing it." C.T said, she licked her lips and winked at Hanna before turning her head towards Jaycee "I also expect you to learn your place, yes. I said place. It would be nothing for me to return to my country, and leave you to deal with the consequences of pissing me off. You like to play the tough guy, but you're nothing more than fake." C.T spat before smirking, scoffing a laugh before wiping the irritation from her face and allowing a 'genuine smile to return once more."But I guess I'm talking a bit too much eh? I'll be taking my leave now before Hetty gets too far." She was back to the ditsy Canadian friend, and with a half hearted wave C.T made her exit, catching up with Hetty very quickly, C.T offered her a smile and Hetty offered C.T a glare.

"Don't ever try to give me an order again."

She spoke and for a moment, C.T snapped, she grabbed Hetty by the collar and glared down at the woman, C.T's naturally light brown eyes darkening to a nearly pitch black. How dare this b***h, say something like that to her when she had been trying to save Hetty's life? Hetty had just put BOTH of them in a ******** up position and she had the nerve too....

C.T let out a shaky breath, before lowering Hetty slightly releasing the woman's collar and straightening it out. "You're right," C.T said, as if she hadn't just been about to strangle Hetty. "I'm sorry, it won't happen again." Satisfied that Hetty's state of dress appeared unaffected, C.T stopped messing with her clothes and stepped back. "Are you ok?"

Malachi Ravencroft

It had been a early start for the Ravencroft residence atleast for Malachi as his living alarm clock had woken him up by 5am. Even after changing and feeding Reuben, the baby refused to fall back to sleep but neither could Malachi so the male stayed up with Reuben.

The father of 4, spent the early morning getting clothes ready for the day and lunch ready for the kids to go to school with before prepping breakfast of waffles and warm syrup. By the time the kids up, ready and fed for school. His eldest; Luciana had swung by to take care of Reuben while Malachi took Jenson and Mirabelle off to school.

The morning was spent with Malachi doing paperwork for the family business as well spending time with Luciana as she waited for her colleague to come pick her up before the male feel asleep in his chair. Leaving his daughter to continue watching over Reuben until the phone rang.

Malachi was shocked out of his nap with the ear splitting ring of the phone before fumbling to reach the phone and place the receiver to his ear. "Ravencroft residence..." Malachi greeted tiredly as he rubbed his eyes awake. Although Malachi didn't have to wait for a response, he hear his alcohol laced breath from a mile away. He merely smiled at the incoherent utterances. "Ah why isn't it my dear beau, what a rare occurrence gracing me with your voice.. let alone your presence" Malachi said being tiredly sarcastic, he was unimpressed with Nicholas since he hadn't see or heard from him in the past week. So much for having a lover sometimes.
