Continuing to flee his pursers, Shin rounded a corner and quickly ducked into the local weapon smith's shop. He was still quite concerned that the three men after him would still spot him so for safe measure he plastered himself against the wall alongside the door and held his breath until he was sure he had lost them. He really was pressing his luck, wasn't he? Making a mental note he took a deep breath and glanced around the shop. In all the time he had been in Feora he had never once paid a visit here, though with his weapon of choice it was understandable. You didn't need to sharpen playing cards, all you needed was a general shop that sold them which made them a rather abundant weapon. After a few moments he moved form his position against the wall and began to look around.

'Maybe it would be a good idea to carry a knife or dagger or maybe a sword of some sort with me...' He allowed his thoughts to trail off while he looked around the small shop his curious eyes scanning over the weapons until they came to rest on a simple tanto. His father had shown him a similar weapon before and Shin had often made his way into his fathers chamber where he would pull the blade out and look it over. Of course, his father had never given him a weapon, he was far to worried that Shin would bring harm to himself or someone else and thus he simply taught the boy how to manipulate fire through the magical arts. Now, however, the demon prince was rather positive it was time for him to carry an actual blade. Keeping that thought in mind he lifted the tanto and examined the price tag only to yelp and drop it.

'No way!' he thought to himself before he reached down and quickly lifted the item to set it back on its display and back up. There was no way that he could afford such a price tag. This fact alone cause the demon to sigh before he looked around again in an attempt to find a weapon. Each time, though he ended up in disappointment and finally he placed the last object back and sighed allowing his wings to fully vanish. He had been parading around with them exposed simply because he had been far to lazy to conceal them.

User Image Nothing, nothing but pitched blackness surrounded and hid her, nothing moved save for faint scorching as if many lags were moving all at once. That and the faintest sound of dripping foul smelling water were the only sounds in the foul darkness. Suddenly two orbs of the bright yellow appeared, they blinked as if to clear themselves of the sleep that remained within their bright depths. A sudden light appeared banishing the blackness for a good ten feet as the girl sat up. She had skin the color of polished white marble, her hair was a black so dark it was like looking at the places between the stars. She was also completely nude, and surrounded by rats, beetles, whaps, and other foul bugs of the underground. Nazerene stretched , her back popping and cracking as she stood. The vampire yawned her lips pulled back to reveal her needle sharp teeth. Nazerene moved to a large ornate black chest, the beetles and other vermin scattering out before her, crawling over one another to make room for their master. Reaching in, the girl pulled out some small cloths that smell more or less clean. Pulling them on she grabbed a brown and amber colored dress and pulled it over her head. The moment the cloth hit the beetles, whaps, and yes even a few rats crawled up her dress. That was ok, Nazerene didn’t mind her friends after all, wanted to keep her safe, and if hiding in her dark places was doing the job, that who was the vampire to compline. In fact, she kind of enjoyed the sensation, grinning the vampire left the stone chamber, the room going pitch black once more.

The vampire made her slow way through a maze of dark tunnels, the walls of her dark world dripping with foul green water in some places, an army of some of the foulest incest’s and mammals followed her. They kept pace with their ruler until she came to rusted metal ladder where they surrounded it and climbed up its sides while the vampire left the safety of her dark catacombs and up into the world of the living. While Nazerene was a vampire she did not eat that which her kind were known to eat. No, she was the only known member of her race that ate the dead, men, women, children, even her brothers and sisters weren’t safe from her when she had The Hunger. But that was why she lived were a fresh supply was readily replacing what she took. Meaning of course she lived in a freaking graveyard of all places. Nazerene inhaled the brisk air. She looked around her realm of the dead hungry eyes alive with dark wants and needs that none of the living could understand. Walking over to a fresh grave, the vampire bent down and muttered a few words. An instant later the ground parted, revealing a simple wooden box, Nazerene licked her bloodless lips, a shudder of need racked her thin body as she ran a finger over the small box, she pulled the top part off, revealing her prize the lifeless body of an infant. Drooling ever so slightly the vampire grabbed her prize by his cold heel and tossing the box away from the grave, she bit into her prize, taking a small handful of marble flesh and shoving it under her dress, after all, if she was eating it wasn’t fair to not share her meal with her pets. Nazerene left the graveyard, her meal in one hand, blood and gore as she made her way down the path from her dilapidated church and maze of tunnels that was her true home. The vampire licked her lips, the sweet taste of the dead utter perfection. As she moved and while she appeared to have no blade on her, the people she passed drew away from her, as if they sensed the true wicked intent of her... Nazerene moved through the people, who parted before her, after a time she tossed the half eaten body into an ally and continued on, a maline air seemingly to hang around the woman as she moved among the living.

Divona Arethina
The Chubby Chocolate Southern Loli Demon

Divona gave a small nod of acknowledgment as the blonde woman responded to her offer of help, glad to see the mess was all sorted out as the knight stood up. Chuckling softly the demon smiled more at the girls awkwardness, "Lovely to meet you Anna, I'm Divona, but ya'll can call me Diva if you really like." she said with amusement. When the young woman asked about the knights headquarters, the demon felt another big smile coming to her glossy lips, "Well honey..looks like you came to a goat’s house for wool!" she declared with another rich feminine laugh, "I'm afraid I haven't a clue, only been here a few weeks and haven't paid much mind to the knights to be honest." she explained with a well natured shrug. Hearing the voice of a young man nearby piping up, Divona looked over to see another blonde knightly looking sort, this one a male. How fortunate that there should be a knight nearby to help this nice woman, however the short demoness quickly found her brow rising as she listened to him go on, he sure seemed like quite the character, quite full of himself, but perhaps she wasn't one to judge about that. Although to be fair she didn't find herself better than anyone else, she just felt very comfortable and happy with who she was. Divona found her musings interrupted as yet another person spoke up, entering the growing conversation and apparently criticizing the man who had just offered to help. Letting her crimson gaze drift toward the source of the voice she inspected the speaker for a moment, he looked to be human, but she couldn't say for sure offhand, given there were a good many human looking races. Bullying? What was that about? Obviously this newcomer had seen something that the two women had not.

Looking between the two curiously, she let the other man speak his mind in return, however the fruit vendor seemed to have his own piece to speak as well and from the dialogue that ensued, Divona was able to piece together a vague idea of the events. "Well couldn't you just charm the dew right off of a honey suckle." she said at last to the young knight apparently known as Cyneward, shaking her head a little though her face held a smile to it still, "There ain't a thing wrong with being short ya know, no sense being insulted by the truth." she pointed out, standing a good four inches shorter than the man who seemed sensitive about his height. At the dark haired mans question as to how she and the other girl were doing, Divona smiled in her usual friendly manner, "I'm doing just great, just a touch hungry is all, ain't had a good meal in near a month now." she explained with another of her chuckles. Placing her free hand on her hip, the demon looked at the small group, "Well mister Honor Knight, I'd say you ought to get escorting Anna here to your barracks, I'm sure she has some business to tend to." she suggested, having no business of her own to worry about at the moment but knowing other people were usually busy.

Arina was about to leave the weapon smith's shop before she heard a group of men yelling and watched as a young man ran into the shop. He seemed to be hiding from those men. She wondered slightly why the young man was running from them, but figured it was not her business. As she stepped outside however, she was greeted by the three men running past her before the final one knocks her to the ground. She felt her face flush with anger. How rude of them. It didn't bother her that they were chasing after someone. It could have been that the boy needed to settle a debt, but they were rude enough to shove someone without so much as stopping to make sure that she was alright as she watched them do it to many others, including some of the children playing. That was it. Untying her horse from the post, Shamera made sure her katana was still on her saddle before she mounted the horse and rode after the three men, making sure not to hit any of the people in the street. So soon as she caught up to them, she cut them off, stopping her horse in front of them. She looked down on them with a deadly gaze before she unsheathed her katana and pointed it at the head of the group. "I don't care if you are in a hurry, I don't care that you pushed me aside, but you do not run blindly shoving everyone else out of your way. You have no right. Do I make myself clear?" Her voice was low and exuded power, though the group of men did not seem impressed.

"What makes you think you can tell us what to do, eh? A little b***h like you has no power over us, now get out of the way, we need to find this little cheat." The man's words made Shamera only angrier as she glared at him. "This is your last warning or I'll make you beg for their forgiveness." Her voice was venomous. The men just laughed as they moved in close. "Beg? Seems you don't quite know what you're getting yourself into. Perhaps we should make you beg. The only thing little girls like you are good for is lying on your backs and-" The man's words were cut off as Shamera lashed out and held her katana at his throat, drawing a thin line of blood. "I could've killed you just now, now get out of my sight or you won't be so lucky." She said before the men scattered like flies. Letting out a small sigh of relief that she hadn't needed to spill any more blood than she had, she looked around, only to see that she had scared quite a few people. She grumbled something quietly to herself before she dismounted her horse and led him back to the post where she had left him. "Perhaps now I can finish my errands in peace." She muttered to herself as she tied her horse up once again and walked towards the shops once more.

It was just another day for Grimgor Steeltoof. Earlier today, a couple of orcs were seen looting one of the local store of its goods. When they were spotted by the guards they naturally took off running to the safety of the orc held district. Now the guards are yelling over the wall to get the orc's attention and to exact justice. Bah! He'll shove that justice straight through their skulls if he has to. As Grimgor made his way to the gate he saw the two orcs who both had an armful of stolen goods. Next to Grimgor was one of his trusted shaman, Waznik. "They're the ones who took the stuff, boss. Seemed to have nicked some good 'un till the guards showed up. Now the cap'n wants to speak with ya." Grimgor snorted in anger as he pushed the massive wooden doors open by himself to see who would disturb him. The captain of the guard was by no means a coward, but the sight of a nine foot orc made him shake a bit. The guards of the city and the orc guards were at a standoff with bows pointed at each other. Grimgor strode up to the captain and looked him straight in the eye. "So, some of me boys been causin' trouble? I don't see a problem with liberating unused goods from a store. Do you?" Grimgor asked as he loomed over the captain. The man swallowed his nervousness back and replied. "Uh, when you put it that way. There is no crime I suppose." The captain would never admit it, but an open conflict with the orcs right now would result in him getting killed, and he had a wife and child to think about. "Then take your guard boys and go find some real bad guys to fight." Grimgor said with an agitated snort at the end. "Tired of your faces already." He said to himself as he walked back to the confines of orc territory.
User ImageAhh. the life of the knight, sitting within the baracks with her long auburn hair she looked down at the knights head in her lap, he was probally no older then twenty. His face covered in bandages, "I told you not to push your self to hard..." she sighed deeply as she moved some of the young knights hair out of his face, the knight just looked up at her with a half smile. She would smile back at him before removing his had so she could stand up. "Rest easy..." She would whisper as she gently gave his hair a pet. Walking away she would pick up her sowrd and shield on the way out of the room. Walking within the baracks many young knights waved at her and said hello, some even called her mother sun. A nick name that was given to her due to the power of the sun and her personality. She would smile at all of them waving, though a older commander stopped infront of her. Looking up at him she would snap to attention, and nod her head with respect to him, when he nodded back she would finishing walking out of the barracks, and into the town. Setting her weapons on her back she looked out at the sun and smiled. Aahh.. beautiful warm day, she could soak up this solar heat all day. Though she heard some one call out to her, ah.. the little yeller boy. Watching as he ran up her she would giggle, the young child would hug her leg. Reaching down she would pat his head, though that momment ended quickly as he had to get back to work. Mmmnn.. the days were always so nice. Though.. something caught her eyes, a very very famillar person. She would give off a warmth of light as she walked towards the group, Oh it was no other then the honor knight, and surronded by a group, she hoped that he wasnt being a pushy show off. "Oh honor knight~" She would call out in a very friendly tone as she waved to him. "I see you have made new friends." she would laugh as she joined the group, the warmth radiating off her, a smile plasterd on her face as she looked at all of them. "Do introduce me, it is not often I see you and your friends." lifting up her hand when she got to his side she would pat his back, looking up at him Her blue eyes gleamed as she would look at all of them, then back to him. She had to contain her laughter as she stood next to the young knight. Though young, her truly was the honor knight. And for some reason she always sought to take care of him, along with every other knight.

Shin had barely paid any attention at all to the girl who had previously been in the shop with him. It wasn't until he heard the voices of the men who had been rather rude that he took immediate notice of their identity and moved to the shop door. He didn't want to involve others in his affair and if the men brought harm to her it would be his conscious paying the guilty price. He had prepared to emerge upon the scene and stand up to the men but he wouldn't be allotted the chance. Instead the girl had driven the three off and the streets were clear of danger for the demon prince. At that moment he seized the opportunity and emerged his eyes falling upon the horse and then the girl leading it.

"I apologize for the inconvenience those three caused you. I would rather avoid fighting right now considering I can barely afford lodging or a hot meal much the less medical expenses." he uttered before he offered up a rather warm and bright smile with an extended hand," It is, I must say, a pleasure, though. My name is Shin." he uttered before his eyes moved to the horse that was obviously her companion. At that moment all else was forgotten and the demon found himself approaching the creature and gently running his hand down its nose with a soft look in his eyes," You take very good care of him, he thinks very highly of you." he uttered in a quiet tone while his hand gently caressed the animals nose.

User Image Nazerene walked down street, the people going to great deal to avoid her, as if they could sense in her the dark intent of death itself. While Nazerene caught the eye of more then one man, none came to her as if they knew in their true hearts that the eeire beauty of the woman would sprll their doom. As Nazerene moved, graceful, eeire, and tall she saw something cought her interest. A fruit vendor... ok it really wasn't the fruit vender so much as the people around him. What lookd to be two knights and the oddest thing, a fat short demon... Nazerene had never seen a fat demon, or one that was short for that matter. And so she openly stared t this odd display of demonic life, her bright yellow eyes seeming to shine with dark needs and wants as she stood as still as a gravestone watching, people moving around her, not daring to come with a few feet of the vampire, she just had that sort of air about her. An air of pure dark maline intent, as if death itself had chosen to appear in the form of this eeire nineteen year old girl. Nazerene inhailed the scents of the people around her, her body coiled and tense as if she were about to spring on her dinner..

"Well, haven't had a good meal?" Nico inquired before he lifted a hand to his chin and caressed it in a few gentle strokes," What shall we do about such an inconvenience? How about this, considering my latest job brought in more money than I expected I shall be a gentleman and treat you to a lovely dinner!" he proclaimed before his eyes fell upon the male knight," Huh? Oh, well, that's nice Mr. Knight." he answered with a rather uncaring attitude before he turned his attention back to Divona where he offered up a smile. What most would see when they looked at the scene was a man taking the chance to up his points with a woman but in reality it wasn't anything like that. Nico understood the feeling of going hungry, he and his brother Stalin had done so many a times. So as a gracious offer he would attempt to help the demon girl out.

His mind remained on such thoughts until a newcomer appeared and he found himself gazing at a female knight. One who seemed to know exactly who the high and mighty guy was, "Well, it seems a crowd is forming, I would offer to escort you myself Anna but it seems that Mr. Knight over there would like to stroke his ego some more." he uttered with a slight inclination of his head towards the mentioned man.

" You di--" Cianna began in acknowledgement to Cyneward's response. He had indeed heard her correctly but it would seem she wasn't going to be able to complete her vocal response so instead she accompanied her small amount of words with a nod. She opened her mouth a few times to speak and answer him but each time he continued to speak and she found herself unable to get a word in before another voice cut into the conversation. Well, quite the crowd was building indeed. In the short amount of silence that followed, Anna leapt at the chance to speak," Yes, I am from Sorvetta. I was recently asked to journey here in order to speak with the knights of Feora. The matter is rather urgent so I would be greatly honored if you would allow me to accompany you to the hea--barracks." she responded.

Hopefully, things would go well for the girl after this, all she had to do was inform the knights and spread the word she was asked to bring and then she would be able to return to Sorvetta and go about her day to day life until her wedding. Of course, the date of the wedding wasn't set in stone yet due to her recent dispatch but she could still look forward to it, couldn't she? A warm feeling filled her heart for a moment before another female voice made it's way into the group and she found herself looking up. This woman obviously knew the knight so maybe she would be accompanying them.

Shamera was taken a little by surprise as she saw the boy who had come into the shop approached her and even more taken aback when he spoke to her. Most people would just keep their distance, but this boy seemed a little odd as well. She merely kept her eyes forward as she listened to him talk and offer her his name before he said that her horse thought highly of her. Of course he thought highly of her, she had had him for many many years. He had been her only companion since she had left her family and tribe behind. "Shamera Utaku." She said quietly as she looked at him for only a brief moment. She didn't quite trust this man, he was getting rather friendly with her horse and she was not about to have someone steal him from her. As she walked down the street, Shamera couldn't help but notice the throng of people just standing there and talking. She couldn't quite tell what they were doing, and the only creature she could really tell the race of was the short chubby demon girl. Many people would've thought of the girl as fat or ugly, but in Shamera's tribe, women like her were considered beautiful and blessed by the goddess of fertility. She watched the scene for a moment, making sure that it wasn't something that was going to hurt someone before she continued on her way, continuing to watch the demon boy who was petting her horse.

Even with the previous incident, Grimgor was out of the orc district with a group of his boys and his shaman. Everyone in his path instantly moved out of the way when he came by. The people of the city learned to steer clear of the orcs when they were on a warpath out of the district. The orcs behind Grimgor were causing trouble to anything they thought would be funny. Some flipped tables while others just scared the locals into screaming in terror. The laughter of the orcs was heard from all around. However, Waznik was getting the shivers now and again. "Oi, what's the matter?" Grimgor asked. A shaking orc, much less a shaman, was never really a good sign. "I'm getting strange feelings from all around, boss. The weird un's must be out again." Grimgor frowned in anger at the thought of it. All the others races, especially the more darker ones, always seemed to make him angry to the point he would flat out attack them. He rarely did this as it was hard to tell them apart from the regular humans sometimes. It was fun to bully and hurt humans, but he would never kill the source of his entertainment. "Keep your eyes peeled them. I don't want one slippin' by." Grimgor patted his sides to make sure his weapons were securely fastened to his belt. An orc never travels without his smashing tools.

- Cyneward Atreus -

- The Honor Knight -

Cyneward found himself briefly distracted by the sounds of music, turning to catch a glimpse of the nearby performers and giving a relaxed smile. "Oh, I love this group.." he murmured to himself, calmly rocking from side to side to the rythm of the music. Eventually, once it was done, a small child approached them and he offered a rather generous donation with a grin, ruffling the child's hair before watching them walk off. Turning his attention to the unique demon as she spoke up, he gave her an awkward look as he made his best attempt to listen, but all she said didn't quite get through to him.

"I'm not entirely sure of what you just said, but I'm going to assume it was a compliment, and if I'm correct and that is the case, then thank you very much!" he bowed formally to her before she brought up a good point. "Ah, yes! You're absolutely right! I should be on my wa--" he froze as he heard the vampire's response to him, his pride taking a slight blow, but he wasn't down and out yet. "I am perfectly capable of carrying out an escort myself! And my ego requires no...stroking..! ...What?" Cyneward found himself a little puzzled before he stopped where he was.

At the sound of a strongly familiar voice he slowly turned to face the woman who approached and looked to be a few years or so older than him. "A-ah...S-Soleil.." he raised a hand to rub the back of his head and cleared his throat. "I-I'm not in trouble with my mentor again, am I?" he asked meekly, his once proud and heroic demeanor now taken down a notch. As she brought up the topic of friends and introductions, he jumped slightly. "Friends..? Oh, ah, yes, that's right, my friends." he blurted out awkwardly before turning to look at Anna. "That's...Andrea." he then pointed to Divona. "Er...Derva?" he turned to Nico and found himself flashing a glare. "Bob." and finally, he moved his attention to the fruit trading Orc. "And this is Zug-Zug."
"My name is Grashovak--"
"Grogg. His name's Grogg."

"Son of a-" A man said but was cut off by a punch to the face. "Damn... this motha-" Another mans said but was also silenced, by an errant back kick. "He's too big to be this fast!" Shouted another guy. "Return my property now" Rex commanded. "Uh.... hold em off a little long! If the goblins get it into their jurisdiction then he cant get it back!" Snapped another guy. "Crap whats this thing made from? Is it made outta dwarf?" He growled. Rex grabbed a man, lifting him by the throat, toppling his friends with him, suddenly he was in front of the goblins who squealed. "Its so heavy... because 1... your goblins..." He said. Holding out a hand. "Two, The blade is Wyrm fang, Titanium, and diamond, the mix makes it unbreakable, and easy to sharpen..." he said. "Three... the guard was forged by only the finest Elven assassins, making it a durable and easy to handle guard..." he said. "The Pommel was taken from Arummasas, The King of Giants favorite knife, a gift..." He said, his hand began to gather heat. "4... the handle is made from Spirit wood, from the souls of 1291 lost dryad souls who wished vengeance on the Goblins... and Orcs, and Minotaurs..." he said. "The Wrappings and bandages are Naga Skin... gifted by the Ssallissper Tribe of the Swamplands... and most importantly, all of these ingredients and materials came together, In a corridor of fire, only a fire golem could survive..." he said. "You tried to steal a weapon that you hadnt even bothered to ask the name of..." he said. "It has no name, for she still seeks one worthy of her power" he said. Lowering his hand, as the goblins dropped it. It sunk into the hard ground, obviously 'heavy' was an understatement. "Now then..." he said walking back into the small food inn he had just been disturbed at. Holding his sword upright, letting the tip touch the ground, letting go as it sunk into the floor.

The scarlet cat

Alexis leaped from roof to roof, pursued by guards. "Damnit... shoulda listened to Nikki" She said. They were keeping up poorly, but Still managed to stay with her. She had been darting across roof tops for an hour now. "Damnit these guys dont give up" she gasped. Jumping down a thin ally using her claws to slow the fall, sending sparks into a pile of hay. "Uh oops..." she said though it wouldnt spread, thankfully the guards realized that putting out a potential fire was more important than catching a runaway girl who so happened to piss one off. "Whew... now that was fun" she said, putting a cloak around her.,, though it went to her knee's she still had those dark boots on... that stuck out like a sore thumb. Not to mention her bright hair... tan skin... narrow eyes... large clawed weapons... "This is sort of pissing in the wind... but it is comfortable..." she said.

She walked around a corner to see a couple of goblins, being chased off. "Eek... hate goblins... so... icky... and... ew" she said as they took off. Seeing the man drag his sword back into the cookhouse she knew this had to be good. She was going to head to the cookhouse... but something else caught her mind... this guy just beat up some bums and a bunch of goblins... whats to stop him from... all sorts of disturbing images filled her head. "Again... groooooss" She complained to herself.

Shin moved his hand away from the horse only to let his eyes fall upon the group of gathered citizens. His curiosity was a rather dangerous thing and before long he had moved form the girls side and approached the group," Well, this seems like a lively gathering!" he voiced with a cheerful tone while folding his arms across his chest his demonic disposition only given away by his pointed ears at this point," Would any of you like to try your hand at po--" the prince began to ask before he silenced himself realizing that two of the group were knights. Gambling wasn't exactly smiled upon and so it was always best that the demon keep his mouth shut," Ah, uhm, try your hand at...uhm...poetry!" he declared quickly with a nervous laugh.
