It felt like an eternity passed, as Artemis gently pulled from the kiss to breathe, resting his head on her collar beneath her chin. His heart was racing, his breath a little more rapid.

Spam noticed a similar thing when Artemis pulled away. It felt like she had ran a race with how fast her heart and lungs were moving. She began to gently stroke his hair, smiling all the while.

She made a noise in her throat. It was almost like a contented purr. "No worries...'twas fine," she said, smiling, as she continued to gently run her fingers through his hair.
