Shade chases after Gemini. He throws a couple of shadow daggers and a bit of the green acid bood sprays his arm. The shadow cloak doesn't protect him and it burnd his arm. He winces and wip his chain out. He spins and kills three more.

[Kredaem]

As she enters the tunnel Gem throws a timed bomb into the hoard of rats that were crowding around them. They snarl and hiss foaming at the mouth. "Hurry Syn!" She screams.

Description:
Bio: A raging monster that treads the outer walls of Verridian. It's mutation causes random spurts of intense pain. Standing nearly twelve feet tall it constantly walks the walls trying to find a way inside.

Syn leads the rats over the bomb and whispers "touketsu...arano" suddenly a flash of light appears and as the light clears all of the rats become frozen within the 50 foot radius. "Lets get out of here!!!" he catches up with Gemini and Shade, running as fast as he can

They run down a hall and turn a corner. Gemini flips the switch. The explosion brushes past them in a fire blaze. Then the fire dissipates and leaves the walls charred black. The tunnels they entered here are much different. The floor is actually an old train track. The walls are made of brick and are constructed in a circular pattern. There is only the spastic lighting of an old hanging electric lamp ahead of them.

"that was close!" Syn blurts out panting and winded

The sound of the city comes from just ahead. They quickly scurry to it. Neon lights gleam in their eyes. The sound of the city surrounds them. Ahead of them is a ship dock with thousands of metal crates stacked tall. Somewhere off in the distance a ship blows its horn.
"Great." Shade says sarcastically "another maze." he finishes staring at the many metal crates in front of them. At least the city was close at hand.

[Akuma Mezuki]

"only one thing to do" Syn says with a grin "hey Shade, mind givin me a boost? i wanna get up on these crates and scan the area."

[Valvayne]

"Sure. " Shade says smiling slightly. He lifts his cloak and flails it. The shadows on the ground ripple toward Syn and form around him. They ripple in a circle then rise up. Lifting Syn to the top of the crates on a giant black pillar.

[Akuma Mezuki]

"Either way will be fine! but we will be dealing with...What the? Shade..." Syn's voice shakes. " i think you should see this!" He looks down to shade and gemini with a disturbed and unsettling gaze.

[Valvayne]

"What is it?" he asks taking Gemini by the hand. She had reverted back to her scared self. She stood silent with wide eyes. He lifts himself up using his cloak. It appears as he if he simply grows incredibly tall. He looks to where Syn's eyes gaze.

As Shade rises up. Syn turns his gaze to a giant shadowy creature in the distant, looming at an incredible height, at least 40 feet over the crates. "What is that..."

[Valvayne]

Shades eyes widen. "I don't know. Whatever it is its in our way back into the city." Shade pauses. "Let's go." He knew the way back to the city from here. He didn't really need Gemini's help anymore. She walks willingly. He begins to lightly trod down the aisle of crates. The sound of his boots clank the whole way. The storm overhead booms thunder. Shade had forgotten about it while they were in the dessert. He always thought that sound was comforting, now it seemed like an omen of what lied ahead. He feels the vile of Accelerator X in his pocket. It is the first time he thinks about taking it since he had met Alice and the others.

[Akuma Mezuki]

"...Yeah" Syn follows closely behind. still shaken by the size of that creature, he grips the handle of his frost sword tightly, ready for battle at any given moment.
