In the begining of the 31st century a great apocolypse wiped out the majority of the world's population. From the ashes of destruction rose Dirza Corporation. A pharmasudical and weapons manufacturer. They offered safety and stability within the walls of Verridian, a massive city of neon lights and flying contraptions. In the middle sits Dirza Corporation Headquarters. A massive black tower. Yet Dirza Corp was not as docile as it seemed. Its true goals include genetic and psychic experimentation, bio weaponry manufaturing, and illegal drug trades, its most popular being a drug called Accelerator X. Its most prized experiments were named the Unnatural. For those that survived they experiments were given extrodinary, yet dangerous powers. Within a few years Dirza Corp had monopolized the entire world. All who survived the apocolypse now live within the walls of Verridian. Daring not to go into the vast dessert that now makes up 90% of the planet, for fear of worms, rebels, and mutations. In the year 3276 Dirza Corp offered a solution to the problem of the never ending day caused from the apacolypse. They created a storm named Zeus over the city. Zeus beckoned rain. Yet the black clouds lingered and for thirty years and there after was it always night in Verridian. Yet for thirty years and still it never rained. The year is 3296......

The Laws of Verridian
1. Marshall law is declared active at all times.
2. Curfew is at exactly 10p.m.
3. Anyone found outside of a residence after 10 p.m. is to be considered a Mutation, a Rebel, or an Unnatural, and is to be killed on site.
4. Anyone found guilty of fraternization with or the aiding of a Mutation, a Rebel, or an Unnatural is to be killed on site.
5.Upon questioning by athorities you are to show your Dirza Corporation issued indentification card. Anyone who does not own a Dirza Corporation issued identification card is to be considered a Mutation, a Rebel, or an Unnatural and is to be killed on site.
6. Anyone that is found outside the wall is to be considered a Mutation, a Rebel, or an Unnatural and is to be killed on site.
7. Dirza Corporation Headquarters and its other facilities are completely restricted to anyone without a Dirza Corporation Employee pass card. If you are found on or within 100 yards of a restricted Dirza Corp. facility without a Dirza Corporation Employee pass card you are to be considred a Mutation, a Rebel, or an Unnatural and are to be killed on site.
8. Anyone found guilty of being a Mutation, a Rebel, or an Unnatural is to be killed on site.

1. Don't PM me about joining. Just post your profile and play. Make your profile post in Document style. Do this so we know you're joining.
2. Please be literate. No text speak please. Try to not use one liners except when talking to someone. Like if you're in a conversation with another player.
3. This is a sci-fi rp. Please follow the rules of a science fiction. Sorry I love unicorns too but they don't exist in science fiction.
4. No Bumping.
5. No killing other players or godmodding. Be nice. Be respectful were all here to have fun. I don't like trolling.
6. Follow the profile outline. You can change color and size just remember to post in Document style.
7. Add the word spelunker to your profile so I know you read the rules.
8. Do not make your posts Ornate. Those are for plot points.
9. If you are a Mutation you have super strength, agility, speed, and senses because you have no powers.
10. Try to post everyday at least once. If you cannot please tell someone else in the game.
11. If you do not follow these rules then your character will be ignored until you do. You can always go back and change your posts. There is an edit button and it likes to be pushed.
12. You may have up to two powers. Your second power, however, must be an extension of your first. eg. Telekenetic, Pyrokenetic, or Water, Ice exc.
13. If you want to quit kill yourself or give control of it to someone else. You can come back later just post a new profile.
15. If you decide to work for Dirza Corp you'll get updates via PM as to what Dirza is up to. If you change sides these will stop. Same implies if you are a Rebel.
16. You cannot kill Dirza. This goes for Astor and Grant as well. If you work for him you may talk to him to get instructions, but please do not have him mention any master plans you may have received in your Dirza PM. If you work for the Rebels same thing.
17. If you are Unnatural working for The Rebellion or Dirza Corporation then your profile will be posted under the respectful side you choose. Same for Mutations.
18. If you are neutral then your profile is either under Unnatural or Mutations. If you are a neutral human then your profile will be posted when it becomes clear which side you are on.
19. If you are going to be a spy then follow these steps. First post an fake Alias Profile here, make sure it says you are working for the people you are going to be spying on. Next post your real profile on either the Dirza Corporation Employee Lounge or The Scarlett S.

Bio: Eric once worked for a computor programming company. After learning of his twin sister's, Erin's, death, he goes in search of his sisters killer. The trail leads him into the underworld of Dirza Corp and to Accelerator X. He was captured by Dirza Corp after becoming too close to the answer. He escaped with his new powers and now seeks answers as to how Erin was entangled in all of it. He starts by looking for the main distributer of Accelerator X. He eventually finds himself using the drug in order to amp his powers. It causes him to become extremely paranoid and he often hallucinates because of the drugs side effects. Eric is usually calm, except when fighting he becomes a bit scary. He is obsessed with finding the truth and often takes drastic measures. He is a tortured soul yet not unwilling to make freinds, just as long as they desire the same things he does. Unknown to him Erin is still alive and under the command of Dirza Corp.

Description: Lance Jackson as a human is still build like a tank with broad shoulders and thick muscles lining his arms and legs. Not some average pretty boy, he has a coarse black beard, and short scruffy hair to match. He stands six four naturally with deep chocolate brown eyes, and from time to time he is known to dress in flannel. When he shifts into a bear though, he sprouts thick black fur and if standing upright on his rear legs will reach an impressive thirteen feet in height.
Bio: Not much can be said about Lance Jackson. With little money to his name, he would do anything to earn a buck to feed himself. So when he got an offer to have some test run on him by the Dirza Corporation who was he to turn it down. Little did he know that they would be genetically altering him to test the benefits for combat. When let go, Lance Jackson suddenly found himself turning into a massive bear without his control. And so began the wandering life of Lance Jackson, the bearman.

Bio: Astor and his little sister were of the unfortunate souls who were kidnapped by Dirza Corp. After years of ruthless experimentation, he found himself in a position to escape. The scientists failed to give him enough anesthesia during one of their twisted experiments, giving him the opportunity to blow the lab he was in sky high. Unable to find his sister in time, he was forced to flee before he was overwhelmed and recaptured. It wasn't long before he found Alice, the rebel leader. He quickly became one of her most trusted allies, eventually becoming her second in command. On numerous occasions he tried to convince her to lead a frontal assault on the labs, in the hopes that he could be reunited with his sister. She refused him however, stating that she wasn't willing to risk the entire rebellion for one person. Taking matters into his own hands, Astor kidnapped one of their own prisoners - a Dirza Corp scientist, and tortured him for information before burning a hole in his throat. His sister was being held in a laboratory apart from the main Dirza tower, making it all too easy for him to single-handedly break her out.

Bio: Velestia was abducted along with her brother by the Dirza Corporation at a young age, her right eye was destroyed due to an accident and was given a synthetic eye with a gold iris. Much of her body has undergone many an experiment and has become weak from them. She has kept her sunny disposition, certain that her brother would rescue her. She wanted him to be proud and took the experimentations quietly and without resistance. Afterall, there was that man who had told her it was for the good of mankind.

Her greatest asset is her appearance and Ivy does her best to keep it a sradiant as is expected of her; though she certainly doesn't hint at trying. With blonde hair that flows down to mid back, and a smile that beckons those watching to come closer, Ivanka is the full package.
Bio: Ivanka comes from a well to do family with high morals, thus felt great pity for those in need. Such is the case for most of the city, and because of such greatly ignored injustices, the woman felt obligated to join the fight. So, coming as she is, Ivanka brings her willing cooperation to the table, as well as a strange arsenal of talents. Though her looks are decieving, she manages to use that to her advantage and often gained the upper hand based on such mistakes. Currently she's looking to get into contact with the small band of freedom fighters in hopes of assisting thier cause.

Bio: Mr. Williams rose to power in Dirza Corporation much in the same way a sloth rises to power in the wlds, in short, it doesn't. The man had stumbled into his position due to nepotism, his father having worked in the law department for some years, he got his directionless son a spot and slowly but surely his mediocre-ish work got him into a position to be absently tossed into a special division of law. More importantly,mthe fetching and retrieval of company property.

Bio: Mr. Johnson was never an ambitious man. He went to school he got a job, he was content. For several years he worked at Dirza's legal department, and was eventually made into senior staff member. It was one of the most exciting days of his life. However, due to some internal problems, he has been transferred into a "special" legal department to help in Dirza's time of need.

He crouches upon a balcony of a gothic church. Gazing below into the crowded streets. "The storm never fades. Its black clouds linger over this city, wrapping it in an eternal night. It always forebodes a storm that never comes. Below me a swarm of parasites crowd the neon streets of Verridian, the last human city. THey took her now vengeance is all that I have left." He takes a needle filled with glowing yellow liquid and injects it into his arm. The world spins. Thunder booms in the black clouds over head. Lightning flashes in neon colors. Ripples of warm color vibrate out from the massive city of black glass and glowing lights. His heart beats faster. His palms begin to sweat. His eyes dialate. HE stands and drops the needle. It hits the concrete far below and shatters. He can hear it even from that height. He looks out into the city before jumping off the balcony. As he falls he wraps his black cloak around him and dissapears into the shadows.

Bio: Both of Mia’s parents had been mutated. They had been part of a rebel group, and was kidnapped Dirza Corporation. They tested on her mother when she was pregnant, wondering if it would have any effects on the child. She lived there for four months, and eventually gave birth to Mia. Her mother only touched her once before being dragged away and never seen again. Nothing was strange about Mia except that she had silver hair when both of her parents had brown hair. Her eyes are nearly white around the pupil. The scientists expected her to have some sort of power, but none was produced. They merely created an odd looking child. A mutant. One of the heads of Dirza Corporation had taken Mia in to “make her useful”, and ever since has been Richard Grant’s assistant. She doesn’t know what Dirza Corporation really does, and stands by the side of Grant faithfully.

On the outskirts of Verridian lies many warhaouses often home to raves and junkies. Once more Shade is perched atop a building. Across from him is a derilict apartment building. Half destoroyed by time and neglect. Through a window he sees, feels, hears, and smells, all. Thanks to the effects of Accelerator X. Inside stands a short scrawnny man. Almost skeletal looking. Behind him stands two bulky men. Their muscles bulge from their black shirt.
"Now you are going to pay us. We have given you plenty of time Agatha." The scrawnny man says to the woman across from him. She is just as thin, her blonde hair is wild and tangled. Her teeth are yellow and rotten. She wears a dirty night gown.
"Screw you Jerry!" she screams as she throws a lamp at them. It shatters, missing them and hitting the wall behind them
"That's not very nice Agatha." The scrawnny man Jerry says before he pulls out a gun and shoots her in her head. Blood splatters the wall behind her before she falls flat on her face, dead. "Take anything of value leave the rest." Jerry commands to his two silent body gaurds before leaving the room. The narrow hallway of the appartment is only lit by a flickering light at the end of the hall. It casts a green shade over everything. Beneath the light stands a man dressed all in black. He appears, at first, only a shadow. Jerry stops as he spots him.
"Who the hell are you?" he says. The man does not reply. "Get outta the way!" he screams pointing his revolver at the man. Yet before he can pull the trigger the man in black has him by his throat.
"Where do you get your supply?" Shade screams.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Jerry begs. "Lemme go man!" The two body gaurds run out of Agatha's appartment. Shade spins and throws Jerry at them. THey all tumble over and then quickly rise and point their guns. Yet Shade is no longer there. He now stands behind them, a black blade in his hand. He impales the first gaurd through the back before spinning andslicing the others head off. Jerry stands stunned. Blood sprays his face. He falls and scrambles back on all fours, like a crab walk. Shade calmly stomps towards him. His thick black boots echoing with every step. He bends over and grabs Jerry by the neck once more. Dragging him to a window he smashes Jerry's body through and holds him.
"Now, you're going to tell me exactly where you get your Accelerator X from, or they're going to be picking up pieces of you for a while." Shade says.
"I don't know his name. He just meets me once a week at the old nuclear power plant in the dessert. I don't know who he is. He never talks. He's strange. He has white hair and a white hover bike. Please! Let me go!"
"With pleasure." Shade says before letting go. Jerry drops thirteen stories before hitting the concrete below with a splat.

"The Endless Dessert." Shade thinks. He'd need a transport to get there and to move around. It would be too dangerous to walk through it with all the Mutations and Worms. He remembers his freind Gemini. A double agent for Dirza and the Rebels. She would be able to get him a transport.

After visiting Gemini, she gives Shade a motor bike. Its old and rusted yet still working. A relic from when vehicles still had wheels. Now all he needed to do was get past the Wall and its heavily maintained security. The wall stands at four stories high. A black omen of entrapment. It would surely be gaurded by the Unnatural under Dirza's command. Or worse, Mutations. Mutations that cannot die. Mutations that needed not the effects of Accelerator X for they are quick with senses higher than any animal or being.

Mia sat in front of her mirror and brushed her silver hair. She hummed to herself as she sat in her cozy room. She wore a beautiful red silk shirt, and black pants.
"Mia, I have an assignment. Come to my study please." Mia quickly finished brushing her hair and exited her room. Walking down hall, she opened a large wooden door, one far different from the rest. She stepped in the doorway, and waited for orders.
"I have another shipment for you to deliver to Alva. Here. They'll be meeting you there, take the bike." Mia handed her two suitcases that had locks in the shape of x's. Mia nodded, and rushed out of the manson. Getting onto her motorbike, Mia raced out the gates and drove North. Eventually, she made it to a bar with a cheap wooden sign that read "Alva". It was at the very edge of town, near the desert. Mia parked her bike in an alley way and set the alarm, wouldn't want it stolen. Mia entered the bar and sat in the far corner. She didn't know what was inside the box, but she knew that every shipment costed 20,000 unless Grant told her differently. The buyers had yet to show up...

Alva. Shades favourite bar. Marque, the bartender there, often gave him helpfull hints. He pulls up and parks his ancient bike. He walks through the door. The sound of drunkeness and the smell of harsh liquor stings his nose. Marque was not there. Instead there was someone new. Shade looks around. To his amazement a woman with white hair sits in a corner. Could this be them. The dealer he'd been looking for for months. It couldn't be. He thinks as he takes a seat at the bar. He tries not to look at the woman but fails miserably. That hair. It can't be. He finally stands and walks over to her. hHis black cloak trails behind him, blending into the shadows dancing upon the dirty wooden floor of the smelly bar.
"I haven't seen you around here before." Shade says. "Yet you look familair, do I know you?" he asks trying not to give away the fact that he knew who she might be.

"...Damnit..." Rei grumbled as she she pawned threw her food storage, It seemed she had caught that damn mutant mouse to late. Her canned were all destroyed as well as the food inside. Fifty cans of food eaten by a kitten sized mouse with teeth sharp enough to bite threw metal. Sure the mouse had been a fresh meal but that wouldn't last... therefor she was going to have to find more. She slithered outside her rundown house and glanced around. She basically lived in a house in the middle of the desert. "I hate going into town..." She grumbled as she ran her fingers threw her hair. People were so judgmental. Half the time she didn't even get a chance to say a word. People just screamed like little girls and ran like hell. She slithered back into her house and grabbed a large sack and her cloak. Her cloak was very very long in order to hide as much of her body as she could. She kept the hood down for now as she exited her house one more. "Well gotta do what ya gotta do..."

Mia sat quietly, the suitcase on her lap, she was always interested in the keyhole. Grant was the only one she had ever seen with a suitcase like this one. It was white, and keyhole was black, and in the shape of an X. (You may assume it stands for what is inside of it.) She was fiddling with her pocketwatch, they were late... She glanced up when she saw someone was addressing her. She clutched the suitcase with her hands tightly.
"I do not believe we have met...Ever." Mia said, focusing on the safety of the suitcase. She peered at him with her barely grayed eyes. Where were the buyers? She wanted to get out of this slum. She found sitting here to be somewhat distasteful, she did grow up in a manson after all.

He didn't believer her. He never forgot a face and for some reason this one crept up on him. Like a memory from the past. "Nevermind." he says as he turns to leave. Then he stops dead in his track. "Mia." he says softly outloud. He rembered now. The injections of Accelerator X. The experimentation. She was there. Inside Dirza Headquarters. He knew now and was positive she had been the one distrubiting the drug. He quickly turns on his heal. "You!" He says with a hint of rage in his voice. "You work for Dirza. Don't lie to me. I remember you from their headquaters. What are you doing here? Tell me now." He says pulling a long black blade from his cloak. Seemingly it appears from nowhere. Some people around him scream and most of them flee from the bar. Knowing that those two were not human and not wanting to be caught in the crossfire.
