A huge red oak tree looms over a grassy hill, and around its trunk is built a house, two stories tall. No windows can be seen, but a pair of double doors rest at the front, where a single Kanji glows.

Ennosuke and Kyoki, riding on the nimbus, break through the clous overhead and descend upon the quaint little cabin. Ennosuke touches down kneeling and holding Kyoki in his arms. The flight had been a long one as for a while he merely allowed them to float upon the heavens, and during that time she had drifted to sleep.

He stared into her beautiful face and thanked Gaia, Luna, and every incarnate he knew of for bestowing upon him such a grace as this perfection known as Kyoki Marie.

Marie, exhausted, clung to him tightly. Her eyes were dark around the edges, as if her sleep had been disturbed for night after night. Her eyes flickered but didn't open.

He brushed some stray hairs away from her face, "My dear marie, what dangers have you been exposed to in my absence?" he asked rhetorically as he stood up and took her into the cabin.

The door opened for him, and after his entrence it closed again. He makes his way quietly up the stairs and into the master suite. Gently he lays her across the large bed formed from the great oak that grows through the house. He covers kyoki with a blanket and then bows to the tree before retreating down stairs to the kitchen to prepare a meal for when she awakens.

Marie blinked awake, for the first time seeing a familiar cieling. "Hi." She smiled at the branches which seemed to sway and wave, welcoming her home. She was revitalized. "Good to see you too." She sat up, the blanket slipping off her shoulders, and around her waist, her hair cascading. "Where is he?" The tree whispered to her, and she nodded. "Thanks." She didnt' bother to dress, just walked downstairs. "Hey, sexy." She was standing at the base of the stairs, leaning on the railing, her hair dangling down over her chest.

"Evening," he was laying a meal on the table. Grilled fish, sesame chicken, yakisoba, and a vegitable lo mein, "You slept for a long time," he turned around, "How are you fe--!!" he stoppped in mid sentence, mid word as he spotted what she was wearing -- or rather, not wearing.

She grinned and sauntered up to him, wrapping her arms around him. "What?"

"You are in a good mood," he hugs her back, obviously excided.
"I made us some food," he glances at the table, then back to her, "But Dr.Wind-Stalker says you shouldn't participate in strenuous activities for 30 minutes after eating... So I guess the food can wait."

She laughed. "Ha, yeah right." She reached for dinner. "I haven't eaten in the last two days. Feed me, tiger."

[Supervising]

"Well then," he walks back to the table and stands behind her seat, waiting for her as any gentlemen would, "Shall we?"

She sauntered past, her hand trailing across his tail. "Sure, why not." She sat down, her ankles crossed. Here at home, she's dramatically different from normal, her ears and tail easily relaxed. She nibbled absently on her dinner, not self conscious and not at all shy. She was dramatically different than usual, seeming totally relaxed.

He sat at the adjacent edge of the table, watching her while she ate. Seeing her in this new environment, in this new light, made him fall in love with her all over again. She was totaly relaxed here, with him. She wasn't worried about interruptions or distractions, and dangers were the farthest thing from her mind. She trusted him completely, even in this place, where not but her sister and her closes friends have been. No man before himself have set foot in this house, this haven, this sancuary. He sighed and continued eating.

She was finishing her dinner up fast. "You're good at this cooking business. I usually just go hunt." She grinned, her teeth sharp. "Now, what was this about a doctor in the Sanctuary?"

"Oh -- well I mean, you know Aegyro? He's a physician; he specialises in herbal medicine." He collects his plates and stands up, "That's not important though..." he looks at her plate, "Would you like some more?"
