Story
Pangaea failed, the idea to combine Elysian with the human kingdom of Conrade ended in destruction as after Queen Dew's death the rebellions continued,the celestial gates were nearly destroyed and the kingdom was flooded beneath ocean waves. In the end, Winter a noble lord and the former queen's secret lover used ice and wind magic to evacuate many of the populace to ships where they sought out new lands. He ended up giving his own life in order to do so. His son, Soren, left to guard the gates of time and his younger sister left when Elysian separated, determined to make the person responsible for Pangaea's destruction (Oceanus) pay dearly.

Pangaea's eldest prince, and last king, holding himself responsible for Pangaea's destruction left to seek out the nine ancient artifacts of the sages of Vanir in hopes that somehow they can revive the former country. The eldest princess went on to become a pirate, never talking about her royal lineage and seeking out treasure wherever it may be. The second prince became the guardian of hell and has separated himself from all of humanity for the most part, upset that no one ever listened to him when he openly spoke out about what was befalling Pangaea. The youngest princess ended up stranded on the isle of Xanion, where what were once two kingdoms (Chastelle and Mylan) were now one kingdom of Xanion and ruled by a ruthless dragon who devours humans and tortures elves for fun.

Indeed, everyone moved on and were doing their own things, that was until strangers from the east came to Xanion and killed off the dragon queen. At first they were labeled as heroes but were soon discovered to be more bent on world domination then anything else. With Pangaea gone and Xanion under their control these strangers from the east set their sights on the kingdom of Durrell, a country of mixed races. Which is furthermore the strangers have gained the backing of Elysian to do so. These strangers come from the kingdom of Hunan, an eastern kingdom where the ruling family who's last name is 'Fenghuang' are actually a family of phoenixes. With so much power at their command what chance do citizens of Durrell have against this new threat? Why is the fairy kingdom of Elysian siding with Hunan?

Important Places

The Underwater Kingdom of Pangaea Pangaea is currently underwater but the remains and artifacts from the civilization can be found under the waves. On the surface artifacts from Pangaea tend to fetch a high price on the black market.

The Island Of Xanion Xanion use to be two kingdoms, Chastelle and Mylan, however a dragon took over and it became one country. The dragon queen was considered a tyrant and killed by the people of Hunan who were hailed as heroes. Elves and humans are both native to Xanion.

The Kingdom Of Durrell Ruled by a human king and queen this kingdom tends to have several races in it's lands. They are fairly peaceful but have recently been invaded by the Kingdom of Hunan.

The Kingdom of Hunan An eastern kingdom whose ruling family are all phoenixes with the last name Fenghuang. They are proud martial artists and fighters. Humans, dragons, and phoenixes are native to this land.

Elysian This land exists in a separate dimension which only those of fairy blood can get to. Elysian use to be a monarchy and part of Pangaea, but after the queen died and Oceanus took over the council they separated from the human world and destroyed Pangaea. The council rules over Elysian who has allied themselves with the kingdom of Hunan... Elsian is home to many nonhumans, being human here is punished by death.

The Celestial Gates There are seven celestial gates, guarded by seven different guardians. Gate guardians can teleport and serve as guides to the world but their primary function is to 'keep balance' in the world.

Temple of the Four Winds This temple is at the edge of Hunan where the priestess Ama is protected by a ninja clan who lives there. she can see the future and the past, but you may not like what you hear.

Relics of Vanir

Eye of Truth: It is said that once a young woman extracted an eye that belonged to a god named Odin. The eye she put inside a small box for safe keeping never deteriated and years later it was found to have magical powers. The one who possesses the eye can see the true form of any person whether they are human, dragon, elf, fae, or demon. It is also said that the one who holds the eye cannot be lied to by anyone else and will always know someone's 'true' intentions.

Book of Summons: This is said to have at one time been a holy relic which saved many lives. Inside the book are several powerful summons which the user can use to call upon magical beings to aid them in combat.


Sword of Shadows: This sword is said to be forged by a demon lord and the user can control shadow magic. It also allows the user to see into a person's deepest darkest secrets as well as their deepest desires. The sword slowly swallows it's user's soul as payment for use of it's powers.

Mace of Spirits: This Mace is said to come directly from the spirit world it's self and grants the user the ability to talk to spirits, walk through walls, and invisibility.

Sickle of Electricity: This Sickle is said to have once belonged to a great warrior who stood up against the corrupt and protected the weak. It is truly a sickle and chain which grants the user power over electricity.

Staff of Light: This staff is believed to have once belonged to a great ruler and grants it's user the ability over light magic.

Cloak of Illusions: This cloak is believed to have been crafted by elves and grants the user the ability to change their appearance at will.

Relics of Avalon

Excalibur Once belonging to King Arthur. This sword is unbreakable and can disable all magic spells. But it has been lost to time and remains hidden in a place with no one is aware of.

Merlin's Chronicles A collection of books which are composed of several magic spells used by Merlin. It remains hidden and guarded by a shapeshifter high up in the mountains.

Mordred's Cloak This cloak grants it's user invisbility for short amounts of time. It's beleived to be somewhere ion the isle of Xanion.

Stones of Xanion

Crystal of Telekinesis A crystal shard which grants the user the power of telekinesis. The user must be holding or wearing the crystal for it it to work.

Crystal of Flame A crystal shard which grants the user the power of fire. The user must be holding or wearing the crystal for it it to work.

Crystal of Ice A crystal shard which grants the user the power of ice. The user must be holding or wearing the crystal for it it to work.


Crystal of Fortune A crystal shard which grants the user the power of luck. The user must be holding or wearing the crystal for it it to work.

Crystal of Life A crystal shard which grants the user the power of to bring objects to life. The user must be holding or wearing the crystal for it it to work.

Crystal of Healing A crystal shard which grants the user the power to heal others. The user must be holding or wearing the crystal for it to work.

Other Items

Carbo 40X An explosive black power when lit can create small or large explosions depending on the amount used.

Pistols Found only on the black markets. Finding ammo for such a weapon is often difficult.

Phoenix feathers Very rare as only the royal family of Honan are phoenixes. The penalty for having or selling one is death of not only yourself but your entire family as well. These feathers can heal any injury and cure any ailment.

Iocane Powder A white powder which is odorless, tasteless, and dissolves in water it is a fatal poison. If one trains themselves for years they may develop an immunity for it but it's rare. It's fabled to be from a land called Austraila.

Demon Skin A cloak which when renders one immune to elements such as extreme heat and extreme cold. It's only sold on the black market and is considered illegal.

Scepter of the Fairy Queen Since her death the scepter has been missing. It is said to hold immense power but no one knows what it is yet.

Chocolate A rare but valuable commodity, chocolate and cocoa beans often sell at high prices and can even be used in trade. Chocolate chip cookies are also valuable. Some employers will pay solely in cocoa beans.

Dragon Eggs By law in both Honan and Xanion the dragon population must limit their young to a certain amount. Thus excess dragon eggs are typically destroyed. However, if they reach the black market some individuals eat dragon eggs believing them to grant them strength (they don't... but it's a belief) and other attempt to hatch a baby dragon and raise it as their own. Both actions are considered illegal.

Ground Fairy Wings Also known as 'fairy dust' this is when a fairy's wings are cut-off and ground into a powder. The powder is said to cure illness and stop aging.

Mermaid Paste This is composed of skinning off a mermaid and processing his or her remains into a thick whit paste which reverses the effects of aging, covers up dark spots, and leaves flawless skin. Such an item is often purchased by very wealthy noble women.

Soren de Season The son of a former lord of Elysion, Soren is suppose to represent the season of autumn. He's also the guardian of gates of time, taking the job after Chronos' death. A former knight of Pangaea who lives in the mountains and often keeps to himself. He's technically a pegasus, half-unicorn and half-fairy.

Sol Helios Invictus Before Pangaea was formed Sol fought against the idea of the fairy kingdom of Elysion joining with a human kingdom. He had a confrontation with Chronos and figuring that he was better off disappearing he faked his own death making it look like Summer had killed him when she was just a child. The little girl was emotionally scared and had no idea that some of Sol's men took him out of Elysion. He thought Pangaea was doomed for destruction and was right. Currently he lives in an isolated library caring for ancient texts and having very little to do with anyone.

High Priestess Ama Born in a small village in Honan the priestess was a fragile eastern dragon at birth but said to have the will of the gods in her. She is blind, deaf, mute, and cannot walk; however, she talks to others telepathically. Ama is capable of seeing into the future but sometimes the seer sees many futures. She lives in a a temple high up in the mountains and is guarded by the ninja clan who lives there and sees the dragon as a sacred being.

The Celestials A group of gods and goddesses who lack all physical form and rarely appear. They sometimes talk with priests and guardians to provide guidance. However, they typically refuse to interfere with other affairs.

Oceanus Atlantica Oceanus was the head of Elysion's council a long time ago but was soon seceded by Sol and then later by Winter. With Sol being believed to be dead and Winter actually being dead the council turned towards him. The queen of Elysion was dead and many believed that her eldest daughter, being quite young compared to most fairies as well as being a halfling was incapable of ruling ( In Elysion women rule before men as it is considered a matriarchy.) That happening Oceanus took over Elysian and was soon named Supreme Holy Emperor of Elysion. He also became engaged to Summer, much to the younger fairy's dismay.

Amaterasu

High Priestess/ NPC

The high priestess was sitting down on the floor with two guards, one at each side when Hunan's emperor paid her a visit. He came, at the same time, everyday, for the past three years now. He had done this ever since Pangaea's destruction, worried about his own people, worried about the world, and worried about the future. Before he said anything the blind priestess turned towards him, knowing why he was here, she spoke to him telepathically as she always had done. " It is as I have told you your highness, Pangaea's destruction has tiggered off a number of events which cannot be stopped. Elysian leaving the human realm and Xanion having been under the control of an ancient dragon, both events are related to Pangaea's destruction and the changing of the guardians at the celestial gates. "

The emperor looked over at her on his knees, she knew that this was not what he wanted to here but something which he must. " The new guardians are young and inexperienced. Even Chronos' successor has a hard time talking with me, though he too is a telepath. " The emperor pounded his fist on the ground, grinding his teeth slightly. " Get on with it?! What does this have to do with my family?! My empire?!" The guards flinched slightly, ready to attack the emperor should he make a move against the priestess, after all they did not serve the emperor of Honan. They served the High priestess Amaterasu.

Her eyes were closed as her long hair flowed across her shoulders before she began speaking in his mind again. " Honan is not immune to change. This time the phoenix shall not rise again but wallow in anger and despair. The coming storm and times is not one Honan, Elysian, or even Xanion can withstand. Only Durell shall remain. Only they have the power to bring stability to themselves and this world. Honan,burns quite brightly but a flame always does before it is put out."

The emperor wasn't pleased, the woman spoke in riddles. The age of the phoenix couldn't come to an end, he wouldn't let it. If Durrell had some sort of special power source or something inside of it then he would harness it and use it to save Honan. He would be damned if he let Durell win. What on earth could they be planning.

Ama sensing the man was going to do something rash tried to grab him, to stop him, but the poor woman was unable to walk. In order to see through time and space the priestess had given up much of herself; mind body and spirit. After she feel to ground for reaching towards the emperor her guards helped her sit down again and make sure that the woman was unharmed she sighed thinking but knowing that the emperor was gone and would not hear her thoughts. Even if he heard them he would not believe her. 'The end of Honan will come at you hands and not there's, Emperor Shin.

In the Kingdom of Durrell, at the castle ground was a young girl with long blue hair in the castle court yard. She walked around watering the flowers blooming in the garden, especially the rare blue roses. Rumor has it that the moment the eldest princess was born, the blue roses appear. She looked up at the sky and smiled seeing the birds flying around and chirping.

I found it heavy on the heart, though light upon the head.

A heavy sigh escaped from the Queen's lips as she gazed the city of Morqouse surrounding the castle from the walls. It was one of the few spots she could be alone thought it was selfish of her to do so. She needed time to think and distance herself from her duties. She looked beyond the horizon longingly thinking of her childhood when she had been free to do as she wished. That was no longer possible because she had responsibility towards her people. She couldn't help but slightly chuckle at the time when she had been more than willing to take willing to take the golden circled which now rested upon her brow. The time when her parents had been still been alive. Thought light physically the crown was far heavier upon her heart. Many times she had sent her dearest friends to battle to defend her and their kingdom and each time fewer return. She was not allowed to mourn their loss either for the queen had to be always strong.

"Oh gods that dwell beyond the stars, if you can hear my cry, and if you have compassion. Let me send no more to die." Lilian whispered a prayer to the powers beyond yet she knew that it would not be fulfilled. She could only hope that they would hear her prayer and answer to it thought knew better. It was a prayer she made each day as futile as it was.

Finally the Queen's gaze fell upon her daughter on the courtyard. A smile, perhaps somewhat sorrowful, appeared upon her face. Makira did not know the price of the crown yet and Lilian could only hope that she never would. It was not a responsibility which she gladly passed on but she knew that when the time came the eldest would inherit the crown just as she had. Only thing she could do was to groom her children to be ready for it. The Queen pondered if her parents had similar thoughts in their mind when they had watched over her growth. She softly shook her head because she needed to get back to her duties which she had neglected when she had sought this sole moment of peace. The melancholy upon her face disappeared as she had trained herself to master her own emotions; the queen had to be always strong no matter what. If she faltered then so would the rest of the kingdom.

With that Lilian walked away from the roof and into the castle pondering what the future would bring.

Summer de Season

" Be the change you wish to see in the world. "

She escaped, she had to, there was no way in hell Summer would marry that pompous a** of man, Oceanus. The blue haired ocean fairy was old enough to be Summer's great grandfather from a technical standpoint, but it was more then the age thing, the man gave her the creeps and she didn't like how the council tried to deny her a say in her own life. Did they think she would just roll over and agree to anything? Yes, her brother died while saving the populace of Pangaea a three years ago and true the only blood relative she had was her nephew Soren who was off doing the celestials only know, but she would be damned if she allowed someone else to control her as though she was some pretty little object.

Besides, Oceanus wasn't Elysian's 'true ruler' anyways, it should be Pangaea's last eldest princess. Elysian was a matriarchy and Pangaea's lost nobles were all the children of the former fairy queen, even if they were halflings... Hmph! The fact that they were half-human and that Pangaea was destroyed three years ago was why the council refused to allow the girl take her birthright. It was ridiculous! Summer wished she knew where Pangaea's lost royals were but she had no idea. In a way, she felt as though she failed them, before Pangaea was destroyed Summer had been captain of the guards and yet she still couldn't prevent the kingdom's destruction. She had opened a portal out Elysian and was in the human world but was being followed by Oceanus's men.

A battle ensued, Summer was n't sure what happened but she washed ashore in Durrell, on the beach close to Morqouse. She was found by some guards on patrol who were unsure what to do with the girl at first, that was until they saw a medallion around Summer's neck with the seal of her adoptive parents on it. A couple who were actually nobility in Durrell, they also took note of the patterns on her sword that she carried, which were clearly of Pangaean craftsmanship. They took the passed out woman to the castle to find a medic. If she was a threat then she would be dealt with, but for now the guards had no idea of what to make of the strange blonde woman.

The Queen strolled through the halls of her home as her crimson hair softly blew in the breeze which managed to find itself inside from the windows. Her steps came to halt when the Queen's emerald gaze fell upon a man only slightly younger than she; handsome by human standards. His face was like chiselled from the very bedrock this world stood on and his crimson full beard was well kept as was his shoulder length hair. If not for his height the man could have been mistaken for a dwarf and the assumption wasn't wrong since dwarven blood ran in his veins as did human. Lilian towered over him but only be the slightest margin. The man was clad in a heavy armour which bore a crest only few selected were allowed to carry; the crest of the Queen's Knights. A two-handed blade's hilt rose over his left shoulder.

"Theoden!" The Queen exclaimed with rare happiness in her tone. She had fought along side with the Knight many times and just as the crest showed he was among the people Lilian counted as her friends. "What brings you here?" Lilian was curious since if she wasn't wrong he should be watching over one of the battlefronts.

"Milady, I have come to report that we managed to free the town of Tristram from the enemy occupation and managed to establish the garrison there and a defensive parameter over it." The Knight reported however he carried rather sorrowful tone in his voice.

The Queen gaze fell over the man with rather inquisitive look in her eyes. "That is hardly a reason enough for you to return; a messenger would have done the same job." However a realization finally started to set in and rather grim look fell upon her face. "What is it?"

"I am sorry but Joshua fell in the battle as did many of other soldiers." Theoden took out a sword Lilian knew all too well. It was the sword of her knights; a specifically crafted for each of her knights. There was no mistake in the half-dwarf's words and no disputing them since the only time a knight would give his weapon was when he no longer was able to wield it. "We buried him to the town which he gave his life to free."

"Thank you, my friend." The Queen spoke the Knight with a voice which trembled thought tried to stay firm as she fought back her tears while she took the sword. "You should return because I think your, and Joshua's, men will have need of you soon. Your heroism in freeing Tristram will not be without retaliation."

Theoden raised his hand as if trying to comfort his friend but thought better before he was able to. His fist tightened into a fist and fell to his side. He bowed knowing the pain the Queen felt. "As you wish, milady." Then left knowing with solemn step in his walk.

The news her friend had brought were painful to Lilian yet ones she had heard ever so often in the past three years. Both sorrow and anger boiled deep within her and it took all her strength to contain these emotions. She had to stay strong for her kingdom and its people. She felt sorrow for passing of one of her dearest friends and anger for the enemy which had claimed his life. The land and its people had needs which she could not deny and so she had to even sacrifice even her dearest friends if there was such need. Then with these sacrifices she was not allowed show her sorrow for their loss. If only she wasn't the Queen she would not need to make these sacrifices yet her destiny had spoken otherwise.

The Queen's gaze wandered into the window and from there to the distant horizon. It was a beautiful day outside yet she would have preferred if it had rained. She would need to visit Joshua's family and tell them the sad news and ask forgiveness. Lilian knew that Joshua himself had forgiven her for what she had asked of him when he had taken his role as the Queen's Knight and had done more than she could ever ask of him yet the same could not be said about his family. Now his son and daughter would grow up without a father. It was a heavy price to pay and it was a price Lilian had hoped he would not need to pay for his services.
