It is in the late medieval era, there is a war between demons and humans. This war has been going on since the begging of time, and the humans are growing more powerful with a growing power. The humans have harnessed the powers of angels to aid them in the battle against the demons. The only humans that can use the powers of the angels are the Holy Paladins of the Royale Guard. There are now a limited number of them, since the many years of fighting the demons have finally taken its toll upon the human kingdom. Upon becoming a Paladin, a human warrior must go through vigorous training, not just of their body, but their mind and spirituality. They must have have committed a crime in all their years of living, and must truly be loyal to the King. But since the Paladins are the most powerful in the human armies, they are also the most vulnerable, for if they are defeated on the battlefield, and their mind and souls grow weak, they can be easily possessed by a strong demon and they are not easily freed. If they are freed from that possession, the Paladin is likely to go insane. However, there have been few cases of a Paladin regaining his mind and strength back after possession, but they are often retired and sent away, so that they may not be possessed again.
Once a human becomes a Paladin, they cannot be anything other than that. They practically sell their souls to the High Lord, and once defeated, the angel that accompanies them, will bring them to heaven, and that angel is put upon judgement, and considered to return.
Before the angel is captured by the Paladin on the Paladin's final test, they can be anything. Often times they hide in small villages. They can hide their wings and take on a human form. Often times they assume the responsibilities of a preistess or an apothecary, since their natural abilities are of healing. There are some, however, who are completely different, and find better, more difficult hiding. These angels are known as fallen. Technically, all the angels upon earth are fallen, but the ones that hide in unholy places are known to be harder to catch and find and stronger.

When an angel is captured by a Paladin, it is always in its angelic form, to constantly have access to their powers to aid the paladin during battle.
If you wish to capture an angel, please be sure to ask that player's permission before posting the capture.
You may be a half-breed if you wish.
Half-Breed Demons and Half-breed angels are accepted, but they do not have as much power as a full-blooded, and Paladins only capture full-blooded angels.

The process of a Paladin capturing an angel is very tedious for the Paladin. First, they have to find the angel they wish to capture, they have to put a binding spell on them while they are unaware of the Paladin's presence, and the Paladin must claim the angel, by reciting the prayer,

"Before Heaven and Earth, I have captured a fallen angel to declare in the Earthen Kingdom's name. I, -the Paladin's name- claim this angel to assist in the coming battle against the demons and humans!" before the binding spell wears off. Binding spells are available at the Paladin's nearest Barrack station in every major Earthen Kingdom Town.

Personality: Sheila is a very straight forward person tending to get straight to the point. Thanks to her years as a merchant she will do anything for money as it is her only reason for living now. After traveling the world so long she is very knowledgeable for her age and is a very calm person. One will rarely find Sheila in a panic even in the most dangerous of situation, but she is capable of anger especially when her past is involved. Strong willed and having great persuasive skills she is able to manipulate those of low intelligence with ease. Sheila is an incredibly fit person so much to the point that she can wield her weapon with great ease in spite the fact it weighs a good 150 Lb. Lastly, she is very sly person and though some call her a traitor for helping the demons [if they live long enough to say it] she doesn't really care as she prefer not to be tied down by affiliations. Money is money no matter where she gets it from. [Not afraid to kill anything or anyone who hindesr her work]

Bio: Sheila was born into a family of well-known beast tamers whose job was to simply provide well bred animals to the kingdom. As a child she was taught the secret techniques in order to enchant the beasts, and was told that once she learned it she would be capable of taming any animal. She was captivated by the idea that she would be able to control any beast that came her way. With that thought in mind the she began training to master the are]t of beast taming. At first, she met with a great amount of difficulty as the animals would not see her as their master. However, she did not give up on her dream and continued to practicing even if it meant getting kicked, bitten, and or scratched. Soon, her hard work paid of as little animals began to be swayed by her, and with them also came some of the larger animals like horses and cows. Once she had turned the age of 12 she had the trust of all the animals that her family owned which was an amazing feat considering that her father couldn't do it until he was 15. Sheila became known as one of the youngest beast tamer of her time, and maybe even one of the few rare ones. The young girl found her ability to be great, but she felt like something was missing more so something just didn't sit right with her.

Although she could tame the normal animals, she felt that it wasn't as thrilling as she thought it was. She felt like there were more challenging creatures out there, and decided to travel to find a beast worthy to be her partner. It is said that once you master the technique you may control any beast you want, but the beast will not be truly yours. All beast tamers have a partner, but some may die in the process of receiving their own as it takes a great amount of willpower to make an animal completely submit to the human will. Depending on the creature you wish to tame varies the amount of willpower you will need. For example if you were to take a dog as your partner than you will need an average amount of willpower compared to a mouse that will need very little power. The stronger the creature the more willpower the tamer will need in order to capture it, but once you have captured it the monster will forever be loyal to you. Sheila searched high and low for a partner to no prevail until she heard a rumor about a blue water dwelling chimera in one of the towns she had been staying in.

Interested in the unknown beast, she went to the lake the villager specified and was greeted by a playful yet majestic creature covered in fur with the body of a lion, face of a lizard, and wings of a bat. The young girl was fascinated by it and thought that it was exactly what she was looking for in a partner, and so with her power she got the beast to confront her. It growled at her, but soon it stopped as they were lock into a deadly battle of wills. The creature was indeed strong, but after three days and three nights it finally gave in to her and became her partner named Tamaron. Now having her very own partner, the now 15 year old Shiela traveled the world in search of a new adventure. Soon she came up upon another chimera like creature taking residence in a far away mountain that was said to be causing havoc on the neighboring town. Without a moments of hesitation she went to the mountain where the beast was said to roam wondering what the creature would look like.

Once they arrived, they saw a red chimera with the head of a wolf, body of a lion, wings of a eagle, and tail of a lizard. Pumped up and ready to go she attempted to tame the beast, but who knew it was going to be a battle of wills to the death. Before she could make eye contact with the beast, it pounced and landed on top of her with it's claws digging into her flesh. Although in great pain, Sheila continued on trying to control the creature, and soon made eye contact with it. The Beast struggled to get away from her gaze, even scratching one of her eyes to cause her to let go of him, but that wasn't enough to stop her. Tamaron who was ready to attacked was stopped by his master telling him that she would be alright. Sheila glared at the beast with her one functional eye, and moments later they were fighting against each others will. The animals will was extremely violent, so violent that it made Sheila cringe. Although no matter how powerful it was she knew if she were to lose this battle she would be good as dead, and so she pushed forward until eventually the beast submitted. After that day Sheila would no longer be able to tame another beast again.

After she was taken to a human village by Tamaron and her new partner Vishki, she was treated immediately by the village doctor. Having never treated such serious wounds he tried his best, and somehow managed to stop the bleeding. Soon, the you tamer awoke from her slumber only to see that her right eye had gone completely blind. The doctor who treated her told her about the severity of her wounds, and told her she could live in the village for the time being. Sheila was distraught , not over her injuries, but the lost of her right eye as the technique only worked when the user has both eyes. Losing her most prized possession she felt as if she had lost her purpose, and with that she stayed within the village for a year or two. Soon, after a merchant came passed their town, Sheila decided it was time for her to get out of her slump and find something new to do so she gave being a merchant a try. The villagers helped get her started by giving her a few items to sell and trade. They also gave her a wagon to put it all in, and they were going to give her a horse as well but she called down Tamaron and Vishki saying this is all she will be needing. From that day forward she put her heart and soul in becoming a merchant, and in a few years time she would be known as the Devil merchant who can get you to trade even your child if she wanted.

Currently she is doing business with the humans, and even with some demons. She is making large deals of money thanks to the war between them as one side pays for quality supplies while other pays for information. Never really being apart of any side Sheila finds herself neutral, since as long as she gets paid than it didn't matter to her who won.

Personality: Mysterious, and Powerful, Sai'yurri is one of a few limited number of Paladins fighting for the Earthen Kingdom. She is often hot-headed, but can change to quiet and brooding the next moment. She is incredibly powerful for a human girl of only 23, but she uses her disposition as an advantage against her enemies.
Bio: Sai'yurri was born to a noble family. When she was 15, in the middle of the war, her family was all murdered by a powerful demon who was looking for a group of angels that often traveled together, instead of killing the young Sai'yurri, he raped her and left her to die in the woods upon a road. A lonely old merchant, traveling that road found her there about a day later. He took her in and gave her a place to stay until she recuperated. Since that demon had raped her, she became infertile, meaning, if she wanted to in the future, she will be unable to have children.
Sai'yurri doesn't hold onto a lot of hate, however, she vowed to herself and her dead family, that she will find the demon that ruined her life, and kill him for what he did, she remembers exactly what his face looks like. It is always in the back of her mind.
Once she became a Paladin at the age of 19, she has been in search for an angel. She has been successful at capturing 3 angels, but she caught them to donate them to the Paladin Masters who would give them to other Paladins who may have lost their angels in battle. She has been searching for the strongest angel she could find, and keep them for herself, to fight and kill the demon she's been after for so long.

Weapons: A long sword and a gilded shield with sun rays engraved on it. He also wields a massive iron great bow that fires large, spear-like arrows, said to have once been used to hunt dragons. He also goes into battle wearing armor made of pure gold, knowing full well the sub-par protection it grants, believing that the light of the sun is the only protection he needs.

Personality: Stein is a very definition of a chivalrous knight. He is honorable and courteous to a fault, and possesses an iron will and a scholar's intellect, especially when it comes to strategy. He sees himself as a sort of father figure to his men, and as such is very supportive of others, both on and off the battle field. Most who meet him often question if he is actually an angel himself in the guise of a man, for he exudes kindness and always seems to be in a jovial mood.
Bio: Stein was born to the great Oxbran family, a long line of great knights and noblemen. Since he was born Stein was left with huge boots to fill, and has dedicated his life to doing just that. However during his service, Stein found himself spending more and more time at local cathedrals, and eventually gave up his knighthood to become a priest, renouncing violence all together.

During this period he spent most of his time working with the poor and converting people over to the way of the high-lord, whom his sect believed was embodied in the form of the sun. He even worked with criminals and murderers, getting them to renounce their ways and reshape themselves for good. One such criminal was an infamous serial killer, "Bloody" Mary Onette, whom he managed to get to repent her crimes and redeem her soul. The two would later fall in love and go on to have two daughters, Joan and Martha.

It was the increasing direness of the war with the demons that finally brought Stein back onto the battle field. Due to his connection to the church Stein was selected to undergo training as a paladin, and went on to become one of the most renown paladins in history. Well known for his prowess in battle, though perhaps more so for the fact he recruits angels to the humans' cause rather than capturing them. He's fought along side many angels in his life time, training along side them before passing them on to guide younger, less experienced paladins. Because he changes which angels he works with often he's developed a fighting style that relies mostly on his own strength rather than the power of angels, so that he will be just as efficient in battle regardless of who his angel is.

Weapons: The demon that has possessed Brunhilda physically manifests himself in the form of demonic blade. The eye in the center, along with the ones scattered about her armor, allow him to see in multiple directions around him, and share his vision with Brunhilda granting her multiple different views at once. The sword also grants Brunhilda enhanced strength, speed, and durability, far above regular human limits, and allows her to create and manipulate blue demon fire.

Personality: Brunhilda was once a kind and honorable knight, believing in justice and righteousness. She was generally down to earth and easy to get along with, though perhaps a bit rowdy when drunk. However after becoming possessed she is little more than a shell of her former self. She spends most of her time in a stoic, almost trancelike state, only showing emotion when Ras'kar takes over to use her as a mouth piece. Because of Ras'kar's love or irony and flair for dramatics he often has Brunhilda spout poetic monologues about the righteousness of the demons' cause, acting as if she is still fighting on the side of good, mostly to get under the skin of her former allies. Though when agitated he'll often drop such theatrics and instead resort to arrogant and malicious taunting, always using Brunhilda's status as a possessed to his advantage to screw with their opponents.
Bio: Brunhilda was once a great paladin of the Earthen Kingdom. Born to a fairly well off family she spent much of her youth struggling to break the bonds put on her by her family to become a "proper lady" and instead pursue her dream of becoming a knight. Suffering through years of training, prejudice, and even being disowned by her family, Brunhilda clawed her way up to the position of paladin, carrying the rank with honor and prestige. However during a siege waged by the demons against one of their cities Brunhilda fell in battle trying to protect the city walls. Cut off from her allies the girl was tossed down from the barricades and carried off back to the demon's stronghold. There a powerful demon, "Ras'kar of the Azure Flame" took possession of the girl's body, turning her into a tool for the demon's plans. Ever since she has been seen hunting down angels and paladins alike, Ras'kar using her knowledge of the order and familiarity with the other paladins to his full advantage, always taking them off guard and hitting them at their weakest points.

Personality: Timid, sweet and truly selfless, Ay'luna would never hurt anyone, not even her worst enemy. She is one of the kindest, yet, most timid angel on earth. She constantly travels to small villages and performs holy practices on possessed humans, or sick and dieing humans. She never stays in a village long, afraid she will be captured by a Paladin.
Bio: Ay'luna was born on a full moon, and gains all her power from it. She is one of the kindest angels born in the night. She fell from heaven during the war. Leaving because she was horrified at what the demons were doing to the defenseless humans. Ay'luna hated being up in heaven and not being able to help them, so, against the High Lord, she fell from heaven because she loved the humans so much, and wanted to aid them. Its been 5 human years since she fell, and she's evaided the paladins so far, however, her appearance alone is a dead giveaway that she is an angel. Humans do not have purple hair and gray eyes. But she is incredibly fast, despite not using her wings. She still prays to the High Lord not for herself, but the welfare of the injured humans she assists. However, she is growing weaker because of avoiding capture all these years, she has not returned to her angel form. She is terrified of being used in battle against the demons.

Name: He goes by many names. Other Angels call him Cuardo El Sol, while other races refer to him as Susanoo.
Age: He has been alive for many years. The form he takes though appears in either its late teens or early twenties.
Race: Angel.
Occupation: Bodyguard for a royal family.
Weapons: A custom greatsword about the size of an 'Odachi. The weapon has eight edges with a flaming red tomoe on each one.
Crush: Ay'Luna
Personality: Soft hearted with a strong sense of justice and honor, Susanoo is a man who is compassionate to humans and other angels. He will not stand for anybody attacking the family he has sworn himself to protect though. He still ruthlessly hates demons and doesn't hesitate in killing them. When conversing, he can be witty and sometimes a little flirty. He overall tries to find fun and happiness in his new life.
Bio: Susanoo was, and even is, known as the God of Battle. He is the son to Izanagi and the younger sibling of Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi. Else than being a God of Battle, he is well known for being handsome and a "flower-bloomer" just like his mother. Although he may not have seemed like it, long ago Susanoo was fond of mischief, often upsetting Amaterasu. It was during the war that Susanoo fell from heaven. Like few other angels, he couldn't stand seeing the humans get torn apart by demonkind. As the god of battle and a man who knew entirely of honor and conduct, he found what went down as completely unfair.

On the day that he went down, he took down a swarm of Oni alone, however slowly lost his godlike power as he stayed on earth. He was saved by an elderly man with a demon slaying blade after going down in battle, and was allowed to rest at his home. He decided to give his life for protecting the family and did so, becoming a bodyguard for the mans daughter. While his hair and features of a well known god are features that can be easily told by other fallen, humans may have a harder time finding out he's an angel. At least, that would be the case if it weren't for the petals that grew on his body. Since falling, they began to grow from his right shoulder and left hip. If someone realizes that it's more than a decoration, he'll definitely be in trouble.

Weapons: Manipulation of the Magic Energy: Zane has no weapons or weapon training. He has the ability to use magic, like healing and destructive like magic, to either hinder his foes or to aid his allies. This magical energy has more uses than in combat. Due to his many sacrifices to aid those in need, he has sense of sight, hearing, feeling, tasting, or smell. To help himself sense the world, he uses the magic energy to do these things, like seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, and smelling. He can also speak through the magical forces, making his voice sound 'God-like'. He can make it sound as if the voices are coming from the sky, or from inside someone's head.
Personality: Zane is a true miracle worker. He does his best to help those who are in need. He is careless of himself, and will sacrifice himself to help others, like giving an eye to heal someone of their blindness. He is a bit of a trickster, pulling pranks on people. He will even trick demons and angels a like. Though most angels are against being captured, Zane is more welcoming to it, though he will not let just anyone capture him, he is seeking just one person, and he has his sights set on that person.
Bio: Most know this little guy as the 'Child of Black' due to his shadow like body. He is mysterious and his past is unknown to many, even to most Angels. His he one of the only angels that refuses to use weapons or to even fight for that matter. He rolls into town, tending to those that need his help, riding the town of any demons, enjoys a drink or two and leaves. The war keeps the little guy busy.
Though some time ago, he came across the fallen little girl in the forest. Her body was damaged and broken. The smell of blood and demon seed was coming off of her. This was twisted even by demon standards. Though having been sacrificing most of his body to the residents of this world, the only thing he could give was one of his wings. Wishing to kill the demon the did this to her, he sacrificed his left wing to give her the life that was stolen from her. When this was done, he left her, sensing a presence coming. He left her, knowing her pain and sorrow would turn into anger and revenge, which would guide him to the demon they both seek. From that point on, he simply started to roam the world, hoping one day that the woman from the woods would come to capture him.

Bio:
Since the beginning of time, heaven and hell have fought. Each side had countless warriors: angels from heaven, demons from hell. One of the archangels that fell, Gabriel, had been on Earth the longest among his comrades, been disguising himself as a human and given himself a common name of Jonah, to avoid suspicions from his enemies.

Traveling on Earth for almost 10 Mortal Years, had gain him knowledge of speaking the common languages of the Earthen Kingdoms. Learning the way of humans as he stay on Earth, He often helps those in need. When ever he uses his power, it usually reveals his Angelic White Wings. Some humans that have a glimpse are able to see tremendous white wings behind him and a crystal halo above him without even reviling his Angel Form and truly believe, that he is an angel, which soon lead to rumors spread around the kingdom.

During his time in the Earthen Kingdom, Jonah had began to encounter a few demons who wanted to capture him to offer to their High Demon Lord Lucifer, as he summons his army, he finally reveals his Angel Form. Soon after he defeated the demon, Jonah quickly flew away from the country to avoid more innocent life suffering because of his presence and since then, he had been wandering around into the other bordering countries of the main Kingdom of Earth. Jonah's strength began to weaken when he started to feel that his comrade's existence had begin to fade away.

One day he had come across a Paladin that heard rumor about him being an angel and wanted to capture him. Without his angel strength he was barely able to dodge off most of the Paladin's attack. Unwilling to release his Angel Form the Paladin stated that he will return one day, personally come and 'collect' Gabriel and leave him be for now. But before the Paladin left he hinted to Gabriel, that most his comrades had been captured by other Paladins and/or consumed by demons. As he demand for more information, the Paladin had already disappeared into the horizon.

Jonah is now endeavors to discover what has become of his comrades and to restore the Light to the Earthen Kingdom.

Personality: Being a womanizer and dark, Kla'Riian is the demon Lord of the Underworld. His father was often referred to as the Devil himself. Kla'Riian took over for his father after he died. Kla'Riian is heartless and has millions upon millions of demons to control. He is often seductive and crafty, but will not hesitate to kill.
Bio: Kla'Riian isn't the oldest demon, but is one of the most powerful, and he controls the demon hordes going after the human kingdom. One of his powerful disciples, before he and Kla;Riian met, by the name of Maas'Riidan, murdered Sai'yurri's family and raped her. He is Kla'Riidan's right hand demon, and will do anything he commands.
Kla'Riian is in search of angels too, to consume and steal their angelic powers to make him more powerful. Hes already consumed countless Fallen, who hid in the remnants of his domain. They are incredibly easy for Kla'Riian to find, and he will catch them and imprison them if they are weaker. He often uses them as slaves and servants if he doesn't find them to be powerful enough to consume.

Personality: Calm and collected, Koba is almost emotionless at times. He is thought to be a fearsome demon, who stands about 6'4" tall, with fangs, glowing yellow eyes and wolf ears and tail. But, really, Koba is quite sweet and very protective. He can be hot-headed at times when it comes to protecting the ones he loves.
Bio: Koba was born in the demon territory 100 years ago. His mother was fleeing the country, in fear for hers and her son's life. Koba had an older brother, Sika, who is 20 years older than Koba. Sika was kidnapped at a very young age, and Koba hasn't seen him since. He believes he may be dead. However, Koba and Sika's mother, Juna, lives in a small human village on the coast, just on the outskirts of the Earthen Kingdom. The humans there know they mean no harm. Personality: Verstill, while still malicious, isn't quite as entertained through suffering and chaos as other demons may be. Verstill, though still quite villainous, craves challenges. He will drop almost anything to pursue the opportunity to face off with an opponent that can prove their worth. By almost anything, that of course means there are limitations. Verstill is beyond loyal when it comes to his role in the royal guard, if he were to know his lord were in danger there would be no hesitation in his staying put. His willpower can be the greatest asset int a situation, but also a down fall as he tends to me rather tenacious. The only word that he will follow totally and utter, are those given by the lord himself.
Bio: From the moment he was conceived, Verstill showed promise in the power he carried with him. Once reaching hid childhood stages, he was put to training in efforts to hone his abilities. Verstill passed exams, sessions, battles, etc. all with flying colors and with little effort. It was only until he was pushed to apply for the royal guard that his training became harder. He started applying still at an early age of maybe only 20, far younger than the others around him. After failing the trial multiple times he finally made it into the lord's army at the early age of 150. It was only until he was twice that age before he was even considered worth the royal guard's league. Finally at the age of 600 he passed the trials necessary, still young for this position, he made it where he had been working for for the majority of his lifespan. He has been within the guard for an estimated 200 years since.

Personality: Rekku is cold and hard from a life of servitude and living on the run. She values her freedom above all else and will go to great lengths to protect it. She has learned to trust no one out of necessity. Her many combat skills only grow as she continues to survive, she has never failed a mission and refuses to accept any failure.
Bio: Rikku was born into slavery to one of the wealthy demon families. She stayed their for what felt like an eternity, kept under lock and key. When the humans started growing in strength, the demons started to focus on the war. Things got.. sloppy in the house hold. Rikku managed to find an opening and escape away, but she could not remove the collar from around her neck. She roamed the landscape of Demon territory, trying not to be found by anyone who would reckoning or report her. Eventually, she ran into another run away. This demon was weaker and lower class. She felt the need to protect him, so she took him under her wing. Rikku found food and shelter for them. She fought off demons that wished to hurt them and protected them. As time passed, more and more outcast and outlaw demons found their way to her, and she obtained the tittle of "Mother". Her and her family lived a life of danger, but she was happy. The other demons were too distracted with the war to notice her and her little band of children. She never cared for the war. Rikku just wanted her freedom, and she loved her family in which she shared it. But soon that all would change...

Personality: Very cheerful and friendly, Avo loves to makes friends with anyone and everyone, whether they are human, demon, angel, or beast. She loves to help people who are suffering and tends to accompany Paladins for healing support. When she isn't helping others, she can usually be found somewhere outside reading. Although she is friendly, she will turn on anyone who attacks her friends.
Bio: Avoria is the offspring of a banished angel and a human woman. Her mother, Zera, told her that shortly after she was conceived her father left without saying where he was going or if he was coming back, forcing Zera to raise her half-breed daughter. Avo never really played with children her own age, so she spent her time reading and helping her mother in their modest garden. Avo discovered her healing magic when she was young after he mother sprained her ankle. After this discovery Avo would help the village healer, tending to the sick and hurt patients. She grew slower then normal humans, aging one year every 5 human years. Because of that Avo had to watch her mother grow old without being able to do anything. When her mother passed away Avo decided to travel to the Capital to put her healing powers to use. Along with practicing healing people she uncovered her angelic powers to conjure magic shields. She was recruited to assist the Paladins and accompany them on their battles to heal the wounded.

Personality: Apollo is a enigmatic individual. Choosing to be alone rather than be with around others, he considers himself to be the last of his species. This aspect makes him brood over his existence.
Bio: Apollo was born into a high class in the earthen kings. Ever since he was a child, he dreamed of becoming a Paladin. He would see them from his balcony as they moved through the streets. He read the legends of old and the bravery that they showed in battle against the overwhelming demon armies. His father at first did not approve but was eventually allowed to begin training as a Paladin. Dedicating his childhood years, he became one of the top candidates for Paladin. Upon his completion he became a Paladin. He was moving his way on becoming a Paladin Commander, but something happened to him. Something that drove him away from the Paladin order and become a vagabond. He has since been known as a traitor in the Earthen Kingdoms.
