Prologue



You are a warrior. Your power could be of magical, technological, or just of pure brute force and the capacity to completely overwhelm those who oppose you. Maybe your power is the ability to reel in the Warriors, seduce them, and win through man's greatest weakness. It matters not. You have been awoken this night to an unidentified noise, shortly after, pain rages out through your head and everything goes black. When you awake you are within a strange cold metal cage suspended from a ceiling. Around you is a cold very strange chamber and more cages each with another occupant. All that is known is that none of you come from the same place, time or dimension, and you can somehow understand one another. You may not be human, you could be half animal, demon ,vampire or lycan. The end result is the same. Even androids and cybernetic enhanced creatures are found in the cages. The question is what are you and how will you live?



Welcome To the Forsaken Games


In this roleplay your character has been kidnapped, and they know absolutely nothing of their captors. When they awake they find themselves inside of a strange metal cage with all their weapons. All their powers have been untouched. Within the chamber is a total of eight cages. All of which have a different person within. Freeing themselves from the cage is yet their first challenge and outside help from the others is strangely blocked, although they will find that out. They then must learn out nearly everything about their situation from scratch with no information. Will they work together as a team, or run solo? The most thrilling element of this roleplay is that no matter who the character or how powerful there is a very real chance they will die. Don't worry if your character is going to die it will be made glorious. Also note that this strange new area sometimes can revive those who die regardless of their circumstances. But finding out how to get that to work is another hurdle. As the Roleplay continues more characters will be found within the halls of the unknown. This leaves the roleplay open to have more members as well as for those who have lost to return with a new character. Also note this rp environment is to make a rich intense storyline the goal is not to kill you all, although it will be difficult to survive. Are you a survivor?

Now I know everyone knows the basic rules but please lets keep this cordial and work with each other. If there is one thing I dislike the most it's when someone violates the rules to the extent where I have to take action.

1: I am the absolute authority in this RP what I say goes. I also reserve the right to alter the rules and regulations and or add more as necessary.

2: Gaia TOS is enforced by gaia. Sexual stuff gets a timeskip however generic romance and kissing is rather entertaining. Cussing is not a problem for me however please keep it in tone. I don't want large strings of cussing. Violence and a level of gore is inevitable lets just not get it to the extent where everyone is loosing their lunch please and thank you.

3: No Godmoding, I have a very long list of what is godmoding. For some general advice on what not to do refer This Reference (I did not make this)

4: Posting Unspoken Courtesies: Since this roleplay will be involving several individuals the posting will be open but somewhat limited. I do not want to log in to see five pages of two people posting, everyone has lives and things happen please give time for other to react to what you have done. Now if your characters are somewhat off in a corner and no one is bothering them you may post a stringent of posts however be limited, if you go beyond one page then wait for a few other posts to occur. Otherwise the whole group is in conversation while two people go and spend six hours in a confrontation, leaving the group behind.

5: Literacy I am not significantly enforcing on literacy to some degree. I don't require perfect grammar and exceptionally written methodology. However I do require that a person is semi literate. This means most of your post will have one very large solid paragraph or two minimal. I will not restrict your literacy however in terms of how far you can go.

6: OOC Please keep the out of character conversation to the OOC thread. That's what it's purpose is for. Talk to everyone else there, mull over what's going on and ideas before posting them with your character. Plot strategize or just get to know your fellow rp'ers. Just leave it out of the main thread.
Character Applications.


Characters are virtually left open to the creators mind. In other words I have no limits in certain terms. Race, powers, weapons, time frame. That is all up to you. However do know that the restrictions fall in power level. If your character is a full dragon with all the natural abilities of a dragon it is simply too powerful. As such certain epic legendary creatures are not allowed, if you talk to me however something can be worked out. Angels, demons, Dark elves, everything is technically allowed.

As for examples of characters of which would be accepted use this as a form of example of what is considered acceptable. If your character was to get into a life or death fight with these following profiles there is a chance either one would win with the exception of just naturally being adept against one or another. For example water almost always beats fire.

Power: Tremere Blood Magic Level five Path of Blood and level three Bio-Thaumaturgy

Background: Akeshi Karesu began his life as a Vampire. Since the day he was born to the current day he has actually only lived 264 years but has managed to age himself with Thaumaturgy. Like most of his bloodline he has been rather recluse in his dealing with most anyone, from vampires to others. As such the others know very little of him.

As a boy he showed promise and had mastered the Thaumatergic art as well as even some of his elders. His body stopped physically aging around the mid twenties and by the time he had grown fifty he committed a successful ritual and aged a generation. However he was found shortly afterward by superior Vampires and they where not too promotional of his insight in power. He was labeled as another of the power hungry magician types. While this was not unheard of in the Tremere it was a mislabel that brought many of them to an early end. In Akeshi's case he had been moved to a new home where the Tremere had previously lost their representative. He was still a Tremere ad he did hold some relevance to the larger scheme of the Tremere clan. The city of Osher was considered an important place of contact with other vampires.

Akeshi has now been there for a hundred years he has his own private laboratory and wanders around the halls but rarely ever leaves the mansion. He has an utmost respect for the leaders in the precinct in which the second has given him a deplorable nickname that makes his veins crawl. (Provided you are okay with this as you play her). His value has been noted for his rather unique approach to much of anything. As most Tremere he seems reputably educated and scientific.

As far as he is concerned the fight with the werewolves was inevitable to happen anyway. The downside was this would mean his magic and research into Bio-Thumaturgy would be more pressed upon. It's resolute capacity after all, would be infinitely usefull in the fights case. The constant interruptions have caused him duress recently and he is now forced to leave his reluctance to interact with others and actual once again return to a more interactive approach with fellow Kindred.

While he complains of this sort of interruption rather fervently, it is known that he is always there when he is needed and will obey orders given almost without any sign of question.

Other:
Thaumaturgy or Blood magic Described. The Tremere Clan of vampires has dabbled in magic for centuries of their existence but turned the fuels of the magic into the most potent force they can find, their own blood. They have roughly 40 paths for which their magic can be focused into but are only able to master a few paths (total of three) in which exudes them from the use of other Thaumaturgy. In this case The two paths for Akeshi are The Path of Blood and the path of Bio-Thaumaturgy. Each path has only fivelevels of mastery with spells available based on the Vampire's mastery of their path, and some paths have rituals, some of the spells require rituals to work as well.

The Path of Blood


Almost every Tremere studies the Path of Blood as her primary path. It encompasses some of the most fundamental principles of Thaumaturgy, based as it is on the manipulation of Kindred vitae.

A Taste for Blood: This power was developed as a means of testing a foe‘s might - an extremely importantly ability in the tumultuous early nights of Clan Tremere. By merely tasting the blood of his subject, the thaumaturge may determine how much vitae remains in the subject and, if the subject is a vampire, how recently he has had, his approximate generation and, with effort, whether he can recently committed diablerie. This is done so in the form of a blood missile. It is launched alike to an arrow pierces the enemy takes some of their blood then trails back feeding the Mage who fired it. This heals a very minor amount of damage when successful. For example heals a cut or bruise, makes a bleeding deeper cut into just a cut, a gauge into a deep wound and a broken bone into w weakened bruised bone etc.

Blood Rage: This power allows a vampire to force another Kindred to expend blood against his will. The thaumaturge must touch her subject for this power to work, though only the lightest contact is necessary. A vampire affected by this power might feel a physical rush as the thaumaturge heightens his physical attributes, or may even find himself on the brink of frenzy as his stores of vitae as mystically depleted. This can be used on other beings that are non vampire in nature and will cause them to effectively frenzy, in case of another character they go angry for a very short period of time and loose their concentration.

Blood of Potency: The thaumaturge gains such control over his own blood that he may effectively “concentrate” it, making it more powerful for a short time. In effect, he may temporarily lower his own generation with this power. This is to say he literally makes himself become older. The older a vampire is the more powerful their blood. This requires an incredibly long and testing ritual to be done. However if successful the vampire effectively ages 100 years. This ritual cannot be done very often.

Theft of Vitae: A thaumaturge using this power siphons vitae from her subject. She need never come in contact with the subject - blood literally streams out in a physical torrent from the subject to the Kindred (though it is often mystically absorbed and need not enter through the mouth). This bleeds the victim as fast as a cut artery so if the stream of blood is maintained for about 30 seconds the victim will die and in a minute the vampire will have stolen all of the victims blood. Time is doubled on vampires.

Cauldron of Blood: A thaumaturge using this power boils her subject‘s blood in his veins like water on a stove. The Kindred must touch her subject, and it is this contact that simmers the subject‘s blood. This power is always fatal to mortals, and causes great damage to even the mightiest vampires. This Spell has high costs and drawbacks when used. Cost is a significant amount of the current blood which makes the Tremere rather weak for at least an hour unless new blood is obtained. This spell can only be used once an hour regardless of whether new blood was found or not. The victim touched cannot be the source of the new blood.

Bio-Thaumaturgy


This bizarre path reputedly has its roots in the secret tomes of the inscrutable Black hand. Over the past few years, its esoteric secrets have spread among certain cabals of Tremere, who regard it as a curious mixture of Hermetic science and genetics. Biothaumaturgy concerns itself with the manipulation of life energies. In the laboratories of inspired biothaumaturges may be found strange creatures almost out of myth, veritable Frankenstein's monsters and less wholesome creations.

Although it is not considered a "taboo" path, Biothaumaturgy is nonetheless strange and unsettling to those who observe its results.

Biothaumatugy does not require the expenditure of blood to create its magic. Rather, the powers of this path simply require a laboratory where the Thaumaturgist may conduct their experiments. This need be nothing more complex than a doctor's table and a few sharp knives, but it may be as complex as the "mad scientist" affairs of pulp fiction, with steaming alembics and crackling generators.

Thaumaturgic Forensics: By taking a tissue sample from a living, dead or undead creature, the Thaumaturgist can ascertain distinguishing characteristics and a wealth of information that "normal" forensics and genetics fail to yield. Including age, generation, Clan, etc.

Thaumaturgic Surgery: The Thaumaturge uses their knowledge of magic and physiology to aid a body in its regenerative capacity. Even the most grievous wounds may heal more quickly if aided by this sorcerous art. This can be used on themselves or others but only in their laboratory and only with a ritual process.

Lesser Animation: The Thaumaturge mystically endows a dead lifeform with magical energy and imparts to it a rudimentary set of instructions. The resultant creations carry out their orders to the letter; biothaumaturges use this power to populate their havens with deathless guard dogs and other, quirkier "pets." These pets however almost never have the capacity to leave the laboratory and if they do they must be within a very short distance of the Thaumaturge.

Greater Animation: The Thaumaturge, with refined knowledge, animates more complex creatures to life. Even human corpses and large animals may be given the "spark of life" with this power.

Cognizant Construction: The pinnacle of Biothaumaturgy, this power bestows a dead creature animated through one of the lesser powers of this path with a semblance of the intelligence it had in life. Animated animals possess a malicious cunning while higher lifeforms gain a shrewd ability to reason deductively rather than satisfy rote commands.

At this point the Reanimated creations have gained a complete control of their form and can literally go anywhere without restriction.

Weaknesses: Sunlight will result in death, Garlic while sight and proximity is not particular being inserted into the blood stream works alike to a high grade allergy, if inducted in high quantities will result in near instantaneous death. Silver is a natural weakness for Kindred and causes terrible wounds. Wooden stake to the heart can end the undeath of the vampire resulting in death.

Personality: He's a very self closed guy not very socially outgoing although he does enjoy company he won't admit it.

History/bio: A Skaarj Hybrid who has very little of his remaining memories. He was originally from Na Pali, as an owned slave by the criminal marketing. He was an arena fighter and slew many opponents. One day he challenged his master and won his own freedom through blood. He wandered the galaxy for many years in search of a purpose. He worked as a mercenary then was caught by the human confederation and made into an Unreal Tournament combatant. He Won again taking UT championship and then returned to his race now with a large amount of Hybrids who all were granted freedom due to his victory. The skaarj as a powerful race already suddenly grew a lot greater in power.

Jekirato was made into a General like figure, although the Skaarj hierarchy of power is not something that the other races understand very well. He now hunts like the others and revels in the glory of the hunt.

Weapons: Dual Claw blades attached to both wrists length of 4 foot very thick blades. Dual shoulder mounted plasma canons. A stinger, a form of machinegun that fires crystal like ammunition. Two Enforcers (handguns signature to the UT) And a single Flak Canon (another signature weapon to the UT)

Shield Belt: When entering a fight it is fully charged with 250 points. A single point can be taken by so much as a tiny shred of shrapnel nicking the side of it. A well aimed punch will drain 25 points of its power. The most powerful level of destruction it can shield Jekirato from harm is an explosion that would erase every fiber of Jekirato's being. This is considered from 250 to 0 in one shot. So in effect being directly hit by anything of the power of a rocket. Something alike a fireball would be 50 points. It is equally resistant to all things including electric weapons but is susceptible to EMP based technology, or anything else that shorts electronic devices without direct contact.

Ammo Counts and firing rates:
Stinger: Blue Crystals 200 Green crystals (paralyzers) 50 Red Crystals (Acid) 50 The firing rate of the Stinger is a pulse shot the first fires alike to a tracer giving a second of hesitation then can fire 5 more rounds within that post that are all chained as long as the trigger is held. Each consecutive round of firing without release from trigger can get up to 20 crystals per shot. The Stinger has a very simpl round changing feature. The time to change a round type during fire is the same as loosing 2 rounds of firing time. So in a round of firing where the ammo type is swapped it can only fir 18, second time 16 and so on. The stinger has no clip the lightweight crystals are all stored within the weapon making it useless when empty until refilled.
Flak Canon: 48 rounds Can only fire this twice per post. Holds 8 rounds per clip
Plasma Canons: Can fire 5 plasma rounds per post however Optimal use is 2 per round. If fired 10 times in two posts they will overheat and require f posts of cooldown or 2 in water.
Enforcers: 100 rounds per enforcer in clips of 25 Can fire semi automatic fire for a rough 8 rounds a post. If firing a single enforcer for 3 posts straight he will have to reload. When wielding dual enforcers and firing they can be held angled to stabilize fire allowing the trigger to be pulled faster, if held in this manner 10 rounds per gun per post can be fired however their actual accuracy is reduced to 72% of standardized firing for the first post and the second and third post they are reduced to 50% if the target is over 15 feet away. Optimal use is when close up similar to a shotgun.

Weapon ability's: The Plasma canons have various effect based blasts. The primary shot is a solid plasma round that will go through most armors like butter and leave a gaping hole in a persons body. The secondary does little damage other than impact force but instead instantly freezes that which it comes into contact with on a molecular level. The third plasma blast is a concussive blast one one side and an implosive on the other. The final round blasts loud sound waves that completely mess up anyone nearby. It sends them off their equilibrium making them dizzy and sick so they cannot coordinate their movements.

The stinger has three types of crystals. The primary fire is a blue crystal that is similar to an explosive round. Where the rounds are not too good at piercing through armors they shoot outward immediately after impact. Take one round to the chest and crystals will split and burst through their whole chest. The secondary is a piercing round that goes halfway into its target then secretes a neurotoxin that causes the prey to become helplessly paralyzed but remain conscious. One shot will knock the prey out for an hour or more. The final round is designed to explode directly on contact releasing small amounts of acid. While this round is considered far weaker than the other rounds is almost impossible get a kill shot with it, rather it is designed to destroy their armor.

The flak canon fires a primary shot similar to a overpowered shotgun blast as it's a blast of flak rather then a shotgun. It's secondary is to lob a condensed shell of flak that explodes with more force than a typical fragment grenade.



Powers/abilities: Bloodlust. Three parasitic canisters. Hunters instinct

Explanations of powers, weapons, and abilities where applicable: Is able to see in the dark through infrared spectrum. Berserk allows him to ignore damage in a fight and continue to fight at full capacity until dead. Bloodlust is so when he tastes blood of either his own or his enemy he gains a temporary increase in physical traits allowing him to move faster and stronger to finish the kill. The Hunters instinct is simple. It is an increase in instinct when dealing with hunting and sensing one's surroundings almost animalistic like.

Attacks: Parasite drop: Drops three Parasite canisters which release three parasites User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. These nasty fiends bounce around and chase a person once latching onto the prey these one foot biological fiends begin tearing at and attempting to burrowing into the prey and eat from the inside out to spawn more of their kind.


Special Attacks:

Weakness: He wears no armor and is relatively unprotected. He also has no real ability to ward off or fight magic.
