Maria caught a glimpse of someone looking like he was going to attack Rem. Maria pulled out her gun and pointed it at him.
"Don't you dare think about hurting Rem" She said with a meat bun in her mouth.
Rem snarled at the person threatening him. Maria just patted his head and he calmed right down.

A hybrid and a mercenary. Stumbling upon the sight, Eliza took a few steps back and watched in silence. The mercenary had her gun drawn, but it didn't seem like there was as much of a threat as she thought there was. Or maybe Eliza was wrong. She supposed she would find out.

Maria put her gun away and began to walk away. "Rem forget this wacko, we got work to do"
Rem snarled at the person who threatened him then turned to follow Maria. Maria turned back to face the young man. "You even think about pulling anything to my dog and i'll put the fear of God in you"

The creature emitted a large, audible yawn as it crawled out from the marsh. How many days had it spent sleeping and recovering? Three? Five? It didn't matter. The last hunter to come after him now lay dead, even though he had left his marks.
Morgramul lumbered lazily onto the bank of the water, each of his four legs shaking off the last bit of rest that remained within them. His long tail was last, sloshing about in the muck and the mire. He stretched, particularly sensing the muscles that had been scathed in flame from the hunter. No marks remained, but the mental damage was still there. The creature would have to be more careful next time.
"What to do, Oh, what to do..." He mused to himself. Or at least it chose to refer to itself as he, so long as it didn't take a female form.
Morgramul slumped out into the woods, his slumbering gait becoming more agile and rhythmic the farther he went. His daily hunt for drama in mortal and immortal affairs had just begun.

Maira left the marketplace and headed out into the woods to hunt for the Dark One on the bounty poster she recieved. She made a list in her mind of what kind of food she should buy after she kills this monster.
Rem nudged her arm. She looked down and the Dark one whimpered. Maria smiled and stroke his head. Maria was always judged because she kept a Dark one around her at all times but she did not mind.
"C'mon Ren, pick up a scent of something we could kill" Maria ordered pulling out her gun.
Rem snarled and began to sniff around the forest floor the the rotten stench of a Dark one

Kaori woke up in their small den she and Katsu had made. She looked over at the peaceful sleeping wolf and patted his head softly as to not wake him. She wanted to be able to go to the lake and rinse off a little bit and didn't want to bother him as he hadn't gotten much sleep lately. Too many dark one's were appearing in the forest more often, causing him to stay up at all hours watching over her as she rested. Closing her eyes momentarily, she pictured him as the young pup she'd found, weak and starving. "Oh Katsu..." she whispered as she looked over to him, now a huge wolf. "...I took you in to care for you, and you ended up caring for me more." She smiled as she patted him again then began to crawl out of the den, while listening if there was anything nearby. She knew he'd be able to sniff her out easily, so she began to head towards the lake, hiding amongst whatever shadows she could find on the way, her tail swaying softly with the wind and her wings lay flat downward.

Rem perked and began to growl. Maria caught up with him. "What is it Rem? You catch the scent?"
Maria saw something shifted in the shadows. Maria smirked thinking it was the monster on the bounty poster. Maria patted Rem on the head. "Good boy...you ready to fetch?"
Rem readied himself to captured the prey ahead. Maria pointed her gun at the target. A sly smile appeared on her face. "Adieu, Ma'charie and Bonjour bounty!"
Maria pulled the trigger of the gun letting out a loud bang sound. However instead of hitting the target, who was hidden in the shadow, she hit the tree near it. "DAMMIT! REM GO!"
Rem barked and charged after the target.

Kaori jumped at the sound of a loud bang. Oh no! She thought. "Mercenaries.." She whispered as she spread her wings and flew to a branch in a nearby tree. She could see the Dark One coming after her, her heart began to race and she only hoped that Katsu was still sleeping safely. She attempted to make more leaves to cover her, but she was still trying to work on her powers. "Why would a Dark One be with a mercenary?" She whispered, as she was guessing it had to be with a mercenary. She took out her throwing knives, but held them tightly, as she wasn't the type to rush into a fight.

"It's pointless to flee Dark one..." Maria said loading her gun. "Because I 'Saint Maria' and the loyal Rem are going to hunt you down until i fill you full of holes heart "
Rem Stopped underneath a tree and began to bark alerting Maria. "You found it?"
Rem snarled baring his fangs as Maria approached. "Guess this fox hunt has come to an end...now!"
Maria pointed the gun upwards. She flinched catching a humanoid shape in the trees. Maria was silent for a long time. She lowered her gun and reached into her pocket and pulled out the wanted poster. "This thing is it right...?"
She observed the poster with the Wanted monster on it then back up at the figure. Maria pouted and turned around to leave. "C'mon Rem this thing isn't even close to it!"
Rem looked up at the figure growling then turned to follow Maria. Maria stopped and looked over her shoulder. "Thank whatever God you whorship Dark one, because i've decided not to kill you, No point in it now since you are worth zilch"

Morgramul scrambled up a large willow tree as his legs regained their natural energy. He stretched from his perch amongst the branches and took a moment to calm his mind and focus on listening. The large protruding auditory sensors on either side of his head could easily be mistaken as ears, but they were far more developed and complex. It was after a period of about twenty seconds that he could pick up on a fun shot roughly a mile away. His monstrous grin spread wide.
The fold at the center of his stomach spread open in a cruel and disgusting manner. Inside, where many would think organs would be, were feathers. Long and jet black. What was the monster's stomach now spread out and enveloped his body, shrinking in size and changing form. Where the monster known as Morgramul was, a large vulture now perched. It's wings spread wide as it let go of the branch and took off in the direction of what he had heard before.
Coming to land with a rustle of the long black feathers, he watched the scene. A woman with a gun had control over a Dark One, while a hybrid lay inside with a wolf. Interesting, he thought to himself. But how could one of my kind answer to one of theirs? Mongrel wretch. A taste of disgust filled his mouth for Rem beneath his eyes.

Rem's ears twitched and he stood still. Maria looked down at him. "Eh what is it?"
The Dark One's ears folded back and Rem began to growl threatening something that was out there. Maria held her gun loading it with bullets.
"A Dark One? where is it? Show me Rem"
Rem took off and Maria chased after it leaving the hybrid behind. She stopped and looked back at the hybrid. "Again...thank whatever god you worship"
Then she followed Rem again

Morgramul swore internally. That b*****d mongrel must be for smelling out my kind. He flapped to a higher branch, meaning to avoid their attention momentarily. The monster meant to change forms again. A human would be preferred, but there were no clothes nearby. He could not make artificial goods. And a nude human would be useless. Thus, he decided upon a raven. Smaller, faster, and all the more beautiful than this nasty form.
The transformation was over in a matter of seconds, and the split in his belly sealed up again. Morgramul gracefully lowered himself to a branch of a much lesser altitude, so that he could get a good eye on the girl and the Dark One below him. A light caw just seemed natural for the energy of the woods today, so he allowed it to slip as they drew near. While normally the split in his belly would give away his unnatural state, the small form and feathers hid it quite well.

Rem stood underneath the tree snarling at the raven. He attempted to crawl up the tree but his body was made for no such thing.
"Rem what is it?" Maria asked him approaching. "Where's the dark one?"
Rem continued to snarl at the bird in the tree knowing it was one of his kind. Maria however did not know. She looked at the bird then at Rem.
"You got excited over some dumb bird? Rem!" she snapped. She gently hit his head. Rem whimpered as Maria turned away. "C'mon we can't waste time here, let's go! We have a Dark one to kill"
She held up the wanted poster. "remember?"
Rem looked at Maria then at the bird in the tree. He then decided to follow her in the end.
