Victoria looked over the crew, smiling as her First Mate took the lead. Finally jumping from the railing so that her feet were flat on the ground, her eyes looking up and around at her crew. No one dared to back sass the first mate, and the few that were going to attempt to were cut pretty short by the monkey that was shouting orders. " Sargo! Stop being full of yourself. Berry is the First Mate!" Victoria yelled as she ran her fingers through her hair, fixing the banana Conceded monkey was conceded, but he was her conceded monkey so she just dealt with it.

Admitedly, she had some of the craziest people on her crew, everything from a monkey, a two hundred pound dog that would tear the flesh off of anything, to a crazy man in her Crow's Nest. Many Captain's would have up and ran by now, but they were hers and they all belonged to the sea. This just left a smile on her face as she reached over to Isha, and started rubbing his head, and leaning agains tthe large animal. It was the only time, one would be able to see Victoria giving anything an innocent show of affection, but she was happy with him. He protected her better then anyone she'd ever met. And that was saying a lot because she had an amazing Crew.

But... speaking of crazed men in the Crow's Nest, her attention was pulled from Isha and her crew to him and she looked up at him. This caused her to be lifted up off the dog, and almost at a angle were her long hair was falling down her back. Victoria couldn't remember how she had come across the radiation crazed guy, but he either always had her laughing or wanting to kill him. This was the latter. " Stone! What the ******** did you do? I've told you a hundred times, no random shooting on the ship." Her voice wasn't hard to carry and she knew that he was going to be able to hear her through her yelling. Shaking her head softly, she rolled her eyes at him, knowing he couldn't see it but not really sure she wanted to stick around for him to explain his self. He normally chalked it up to Cujo, who ever the hell that was.
                                                                                  No I can't slow down

The Dauntless

Lyger nodded, leaning into her kiss and pausing for a moment glancing back towards the town, his mind ever plotting, a sly grin traced his features. Hearing her words though he'd shelve that thought for now and they made their way back towards the ship as the men worked.

"We got booze for days now, I'm sure the crew will be pleased" he said as they neared the Dauntless, he couldn't help but marvel abit at his ship. To him it always seemed so tall and majestic, and yet its body was slender, allowing it to still be relatively swift in a strong wind. Either way it was more than he could've asked for when he came across it, and it'd certainly served them well since then.

His eye twitched a bit as a small voice echoed within his mind, something of a whisper,

"boss, we got company.. theres another ship heading this way, still too far out to know who yet..." Lyger glanced up to the high crow's nest on the center mass, finding Lisa's smiling face before she turned to peer through the hourglass once more. Though initially her ability was rather unnerving at times, the voice of a youthful girl manifesting within your head at random moments throughout the day and night, he found it was invaluable in times like these.

"Come on" he said to Anora calmly, quickening his pace down the dock and stepped back onto the Dauntless. He'd barely come aboard before Cylas was barking out orders, it seemed he'd also gotten the memo about the oncoming ship.

"Ship on approach, we're moving clear of the docks" turning his attention to the men currently off the ship he'd continued, "continue your duties, if it comes down to it defend the ship" he chuckled a bit shaking his head, "but it won't." A roar of cheers echoed throughout his crew, all genuinely excited at the prospect of a good fight. Lyger could only shake his head, as the ship grew nearer it looked more and more familiar to him, he smirked devilishly.

"I know who this is..." he said calmly, as they made to dock, turning to Cylas he spoke quickly, "have everybody be alert, this might not be that serious." Cylas glanced back at him shaking his head, he remembered the ship from that last time they'd seen here, a few years now.

When Berry heard Sargo assist her, and made sure that no one belittle her, it made her happy to know that someone supported her. Perhaps it had to do with their shared tail appendage, although she hid it most of the time, She was sure that he knew of it. Although, when she considered it, she was doubtful that was the reason. Sargo didn't seem like that kind of person. Perhaps it was just to make sure that the other people who'd been expecting to become First mate didn't speak out, or wonder why a reserved woman like her had gotten it. Well, either way, she was still glad.

As they grew near to the port, she made sure that it did not run astray and that all went as planned.... And it had gone even smoother than she had planned. "Tie us off, and lower the anchor!" She shouted and moved back toward The Captain. "Cap'n, we've successfully docked and are ready to leave.. When ya' are ready, o' course"

Soren Markov,
Eagle Eye

Soren sat on the dock over looking the sea. He watched the sun setting from a small bench. He listened to the waves lap against the legs of the dock and smelled the salty air. He loved the smell of it. He lowered his eyes to the book in his lap and skimmed through it for a little longer. He looked up after awhile to see a large ship making it's way to port. He studied the shape of the ship and the way the sails caught the wind. He closed his book and stood up, his cloak slipping down from his shoulders to cover his sheathed Rapier and assorted weapons. He slipped his book into a satchel hung along his lower back and waited for the ship to pull into port. He had made up his mind. This ship was calling his name.

He walked back to the end of the dock and up the stairs then sat in the darkness beside a building over looking the water. He watched and waited to spot the captain so that he could follow him and ask to join.

Sargo Kazaki
Ape Man of The Prince of the Sea

Sargo looked at the Captain and rubbed the back of his head, "Just stickin' up for the first mate, Cap't! I know she can handle herself but ya know me!" He said with a laugh before going back to his work. Sargo had a certain amount of respect for the First Mate, though he'd never admit it. He glanced back at Berry, offering the women a confident smile and a thumbs up. He then turned his attention the Captain, gazing at her as she rested against the wolf. For a moment the ape man spaced out, before being hit in the head with a barrel by one of the other crew members, "Hey! Watch where you're swinging that damn barrel!" He growled. "Stop eye humpin' the Cap't then and get to work then!" Was the retaliation.

Anora nodded her head lightly as Lyger spoke. "Indeed, they should be very pleased." She said lightly. Arching an eyebrow as she noted his eye twitch, she was about to ask when she heard the voice in her head. That still bothered her at times. Glancing up the the smiling Lisa in the crow's nest, Anora chuckled as she followed Lyger onto the ship. "Yes, yes. I'm coming, Chaos..." Anora said with a soft chuckle. Glancing to Cylas, Anora smirked again. Always one step ahead. Arching an eyebrow as she glanced to the new ship, Anora sighed. She recognized that ship. "Lovely..." Anora muttered as she glanced to Lyger out of the corner of her eye. "Only alert? It didn't exactly end on a good note last time..." She muttered with a slight shake of her head as she glanced to Cylas who was still barking orders to the crew. Anora and the lady captain of the Prince of the Sea didn't exactly get along. To put it lightly. "Hope you know what you're doing, Chaos." She said simply as she let her hands rest on her hips.

Max heard the captains voice and shook his head " Wasn't Random. The monkey wanted to mutiny, as quartermaster of the ship it was my job to make sure the thoughts didn't spread! Any mutineers will be killed." You could tell by the way he was speaking that he genuinely believed that what he was saying actually happened even though he was really alone in the crows nest. He set the telescope down and sat down. He looked to his left shoulder, to his imaginary friend Cujo, "You better behave you little p***k..You get me in trouble again I'll drown you!" he threatened quietly to the nothingness he was looking at.

At one time Cujo was a real Capuchin monkey, Max liked him better when he was a real monkey because he didn't mouth off as much since he couldn't speak English. Now that the monkey was a figment of his imagination the monkey could do whatever his imagination would allow him to do, which included talking and encouraging Max to do things that most normal people wouldn't do, like paralyze every sailor on his previous ship, including the previous captain, buy sticking the blade of his Gerber Mark II into the spine of anything that moved. He figured that'd learn them for insulting himself and Cujo.

The hulking galleon drifted in near silence on the water, headed towards Pyandonea, one of the various islands under their influence. Aside from the occasional splash heard on both sides of the ship, and the creaks of the large wooden vessel, their was an almost ghostly silence. Within the captain's quarters, there sat an empty bed, the captain nowhere to be found within. The crow's nest too was left empty, a fact of the ship that the crew had never fully come to understand. However, that would not be problematic. If he was needed he would appear. But for now, the steady rhythm, the feeling as his back muscles contracted and released in unison with his forearms. The structure was settling, yet exciting in a way. They were making much more progress, and a nice little break would do the men good. After all, they must do what they want because pirates are free.

As he continued to row the oars in his lonesome, sweat began to bead upon the crown of his head, more and more of his hair slipping from the head band, allowing for his mane to emerge once more. This silent task, while miniscule for others, was in fact a factor of the Red Queen's fabled speed. As he continued to row, each movement exaggerated to get the maximum push forward, the ship made noticeable progress, foaming water in it's wake. Zane, energized as he was had done such plenty of times, an event which mystified the crew greatly. Tonight however, he would not have to row very hard, especially with his left arm, the wind coming from the northeast having filled the sails. However, to progress a whole ship in such a manner was no small task, even with the wind. But that was of no importance to Zane, the smiling captain alone in his own ship, rowing in silence to a rhythm that only he could hear.

Tabris lay resting on his own little pillow in the crow's nest, the position of being Zane's pet having it's perks after all. The half eaten cracker sat next to the sleeping bird, a testament to his astonishing ability to eat in moderation, a trait rarely seen in animals. The bird waited for its captain, knowing exactly where he was and what he was doing. The breeze from the south was one of movement, not of weather. Once again, Zane was giving them that extra boost. But that was above the mind of the bird. The only thing he cared about was when his next cracker would be arriving.

"Is it night or is it dae?"

Dal`enne Kitsum`a but I'll let your pretty face call me Dae
User Image

xxxxxDae continued up the dock, stopping a moment to look back towards the ship. The captain and first mate were together. Other members of the crew were together. It seemed that Dae was alone, something that she didn't care for much. Sure she was quiet, but she enjoyed company. She stopped to peer back up at the ship and then towards the sky. The ship was closing in fast and she could tell it would dock soon. Because of this, she didn't want to be anywhere around unless she was called for by her captain. She wasn't one to bring attention to herself, nor was she one to start drama, but she surely could finish it.

xxxxxShe allowed her feet to swiftly carry her, knowing that she wanted a drink and soon found herself coming closer to the shops that the port had to offer. Sure there were all sorts of shops that a woman might be interested in, but now, she graced the bar with her presence. She truly was a beautiful sight to see, but to her, there was only one man out there for her. Sure the sea was her love, but she knew that it also held the other part of her heart. Some part of her mind had hoped that he'd be here, waiting at the dock whenever they arrived, but she was sadly mistaken. Of course she would never tell her captain, or any of the other crew mates, but in her heart, there was sadness. She walked across the wooden floor, the heel of her book leaving a soft 'clack' as she went to signify her presence. It was pretty empty at the moment, save a man and a large... dog? It didn't bother her too much. She could hold her own, even if it was against a beast. She wondered what type of creature it was, for she couldn't rightfully see its color. Sometimes she wished she could see colors instead of shades of grey, but in the end colors might mess up how she saw everything in slow motion. This was one reason she was drawn towards her love, for his eyes were different as hers were. She'd see him again, she was sure of it, just exactly when was the question. She didn't want to be an old woman by the time their paths cross again.

xxxxxDae pulled up a stool there at the bar and peered down at her hands a moment, seeing that they were dirty from when she was on the ship. she took the cloak that was wrapped around her shoulders and cleaned them in a haphazard manner before looking up, waiting on someone to attend to her so that she could get a drink. She wondered if she could get food here as well, but figured she'd have to wander around until she found an actual tavern or restaurant for that.

Isha enjoyed the petting that his handler was giving him. He moaned softly, his leg twitching every so often. When she leaned on him and shouted to the man high in the air, Isha sat still so that she wouldn't fall.

Isha glanced at the hurried crew and met eyes with Sargo. He didn't understand him... he looked like a monkey, but talked like a man. He smelled like a mix of the two, and that was appalling. Even for the dog who would damn near eat anything.

Then the First Mate gave the update to the Captain about them being docked and Isha barked quite loudly. He noticed his handler was not leaning on him and he took off for Berry, his second favourite in the crew. He nuzzled against her as if to congratulate her for a job well done before licking her hand.

Location: The Dry Dock Tavern
Company: Ale? At least she hopes it's ale.
Thoughts: Shut up.

Alex had been sitting in this tavern for the better part of a few hours now, nursing at a cup of ale. At least, she hoped it was ale, she couldn't really tell anymore, and she actually wondered if she even cared anymore. It did the job it was supposed to do. So many people were in the tavern, and she could hear every one of them, and not just their voices. Well, she supposed it was their voices, it just wasn't the voice coming from their lips, though she of course heard those too. Alex had very poor control over this, try as she might to tune everyone out.

She brought the cup to her lips and got another drink from it, though her gaze didn't leave the wall behind the bar she was sat at. Best to keep it there or her lap, lest she get into any unwelcomed trouble. She was the captain of The Hellbound, but her crew was out doing... whatever it was they were doing whilst they were docked for their short time. Probably brothels and the like. Seven hells, if she were a man, that'd be the first thing she did once her feet hit land. If it weren't for the fact that she'd made it quite obvious on her ship that anyone that put their hands on her got a dagger through the eye, she might have a problem with her crew. But she did, and she didn't. It was well known that when The Hellbound did something, they did it right, and it was also well known that when Captain Alex Carter said jump, her crew said how high.

The Red Queen had finally hit port in Pyandonea, weighing anchor a clique or two north of the docks themselves. Zane, allowing his crew to take the night off and nap, crept through his ship, walking in silence from the brig all the way up to the deck. As he rose up, the cool, salty breeze, combined with the night air hit him hard, causing him to give a slight shiver. Realizing that he had broken a nice sweat, he looked down at his body, forgetting for a moment that he had changed into an outfit more suited for relaxation than work. This however suited him just fine. Tying a rope to the mast, he threw it over the edge of the ship and into the water below. Swiftly stripping from the flowing pants, he dived in face first, spiraling under the water. Spinning back upwards, he burst up above the surface of the water, his legs kicking beneath him, helping to keep him afloat. He began to scrub himself vigorously, most of the grime on himself from the time spent at the bottom of the ship, rather than his time acting as captain. Nonetheless, it was wiped clean, and soon he was climbing back up the side of the ship, using the rope he had cast down before.

Minutes later Zane emerged from his quarters, dry and smelling of the exotic spices which he sold for such an expensive price. His signature headband remained bright as ever, a notable trait about him that was on him at almost all times. Diving into the water once more, he swam several yards to shore, soaking himself once again. However the soaking was of no matter, it was quite a walk to the bar and he was certain that he would be dry by then. As he reached shore, his boots stepped onto the sand, trudging up the beach as he finally exited the water. Shaking the water from his hair, and ringing most of it from his clothes, he began the walk towards the port. As he sauntered down the beach, a wonderful thought occurred to him. He would stop and have a quick drink to celebrate a nice taking for the day. After all all work and no play is not what the life of a pirate was about. Licking his lips, his gaze was now set on the bar.

He entered the bar as he did most things, silently. He made his way over to the counter, his kindest smile on his lips. He sat down on the closest free stool, placing his palms steadily on the counter. He was quite patient at the moment and was willing to wait to be served. He did note however, that it was quite packed in the bar today. And by goodness the pretty colors that emanated from these various people. Even the man sprouting fur from places he didn't think normal on a human was emanating colors that he had seen only in brothels. Zane chuckled to himself, shaking his head slwoly. This was turning out to be quite interesting.

Berry stood return to the center of the deck, to oversee everything that was going on, although her concentration was broken when a furry creature rubbed against her. She froze for a moment, but then quickly realized what exactly was against her; It was Isha! The Wolf like thing was nearly as tall as her, which for others would have been intimidating or frightening, but not for her. No, she had always wanted a pet, and while it wasn't exactly hers, She felt that Isha favored her.

"Who's a good boy?" She said as she ran her fingers through his fur, scratching him behind his large ears. "You are, ain't cha'? You commin' ta' give me praise fer a job well done?" She didn't know for sure why he had come to her, but for whatever reason, she was happy for it. Berry really liked Isha, although she would always admit to being frightened of him the first time they'd met. But that was all history, as she began to scratch his right side.

"Well, thanks fer the praise. I know that some of th' others aren't so happy wit me." She whispered to him. "But not you, eh?"

Victoria's eyes had finally came down to her first mate but they were zoned out, her body lurching with the boat as it docked in the port. The ocean was slamming in them again, causing her eyes to flash and look a little bit on the evil side. Her tail was going ninety to nothing behind her and the smile that was once planted on her black painted lips was gone, only left with a frown pulled back almost into a snarl. The eyes wasn't looking at the woman she'd appointed to be her 'right hand man' they were focused on the boat in front of them. There rested the boat of the very man, that turned her into the b***h she was today, possibly still with that b***h whore that caused the whole problem. She wasn't jealous of the woman, she was more attactive then her and well, basically she didn't have to go for someone seconds to get something. It was the idea behind her and using the fake beauty she had to lure Lyger away. It was pretty shitty in the Captain's eyes. Oh, well, to each their own and she was ******** Victoria's sloppy seconds.

Trying to get herself out of the nightmare day dream, her eyes flashed to Sargo, and she got the laughs when he got hit in the head with a barrel. It actually drew a smile from the woman, not because he got hurt but because he was dumb enough to stand in front of the barrell way staring at her. She just had to love the monkey. He was completely odd. Just like the rest of her bloody crew. It was alone a moment of her laughing at the monkey before she looked back up at the Crow's Nest, her body shifting as Isha ran from her towards Berry. " Stone!! You have lost yer bloody mind, you landlovin' fool!" This was graced with a set of laughs that had her doubled over and shaking her hair out of her face. " Are you coming to the Tavern with us, or is Cujo dealing you enough hell you are staying up there?"

Not even waiting on the answer from the man, she turned from the bow and walked to the deck, kicking the ramp down so that it hit the pier. Looking around, and making sure she was presentable she turned to her crew and smiled brightly. " Alright, ye asses, be gone with ya! I dun wanna see you until mornin' light and you better have ye partying out of ya." This was all said in a loud commanding voice, her eyes flashing as she looked around and towards the other ship. At the moment, she didn't care about them, she was more worried about headed to the Dry Dock Tavern and getting her something strong to drink. Maybe wash away her worries. " Berry, Eagle Eye, Isha, Sargo! Ya'll are with me. Stone, keep the gun fire down and watch the ship!" She called out as she turned from the ship and started down towards the bar, her body swaying in the now rising moon light. Oh, it was going to be a fun night. She was going to make sure of it.
                                                                                  No I can't slow down

xxxxxDae was losing herself in her thoughts as she sat there at the bar. She was thinking over just how long she had been with her current crew. Before that she had briefly boarded a ship which was later taken over. And then before that, she had spent most of her life training once she realized the immense power behind her gift. Now, as she waited for something to drink, she heard the footsteps of someone else enter into the bar. It was about time, in her opinion. Normally people, especially men were all over the bars... right? It had been so long since she had been on land that she honestly couldn't remember. The last time they docked, she stayed on the ship, not caring for the place that they stopped at. She preferred the water to the land now that she was used to it, but she had to admit that she missed the days whenever she could just be a girl. She used to wear beautiful dresses and go to dances in elaborate halls that were decorated for grand balls. But once her training began, it was all she focused on. She was too wrapped up in bettering herself that she forgot who she really was... or was that even true? Had she dug down past the facade of a girl to find her inner self in order to portray? In some ways, this sounded true, but in others, she disagreed with it.

xxxxxEither way, she turned her head to look at the man who now sat down the bar a little ways from herself. Her head didn't turn much, for she didn't want to start anything and certainly didn't want his attention. Normally men only meant trouble for her, so she did her best to stay away from them. Of course finding her fiery self at the bar wasn't the best place to elude men. She kept her eyes to herself as she sat there, looking over the place and noticing how it was decorated. She moved her hand to tug softly at her cloak, making sure it was tight and secure in front of the base of her neck. Her stomach rumbled, but not loud enough for anyone to here. Dae closed her eyes for a moment, keeping quiet as she thought, wondering exactly what it was that she wanted to eat. She knew she wanted something that wasn't covered in salt, so it had to be fresh. She remembered whenever they had to eat pickled meat before and it only made her curl her lips in disgust. For that week, she didn't eat, knowing pickled foods were all they had. Now, she was free to get whatever she wanted, for it wasn't as if she was lacking in money.
