~I often give myself such very good advice...
"Well then let's go" Vincent said as he finished washing the plate in which he had some breakfast, and then proceeded to walk out of the room and into the front door, before returning to Cassandra "Wait you are the one that knows the way" he said before laughing nervously."By the way Why are you so afraid of your father? Is he a bad person? Mine was..." Cassie shook her head as they walked out the front door, and closed it behind Vincent.
"Oh, no He's not terrible he's just...." She sighed.
"You just don't understand. He likes to have control of his world, and everything in it. He isn't a violent man, but he can get angry." In her mind she heard her father's voice screaming at her for one of any number of trespasses she had commited during the course of her life. She showed outward signs of fear, but shivered them away as she lead him to the street. "He's going to be very sore with me for sneaking out I'm afarid." She hailed a cab on the street. One eventually stopped and she opened the door and slide in.
"122 Cavendish street." She told the driver once Vincent was in the cab. As the driver went to his radio to get directions, she leaned over to Vincent.
"Again, thank you for coming with me. I feel alot safer. I'm sorry I won't be able show you around London..." She gave him a soft smile, before turning her face to the window to watch the city pass by. They sat in silence for the rest of the journey. She saw flashing lights and heard sirens as they neared the pouche neighbourhood in which Cassie lived. As they neared her family's mansion they saw a large collection of police cars in her entrance way, and a large collection of reports behind the gate. Cassie's eyes grew wide with shock as they pulled up to the mansion.
"What the Bloody Hell is going on?" She asked.
Bursting out of the cab she ran through the entrance gate and up the driveway. The grounds were surrounded by detectives, constables, ambulances, crime tape, and men wearing gloves. Cassie darted her way through the crowd and up to the front doors. A police officer tried to stop her from entering the house, but she bowled her way past him. As she entered the house she saw the first signs of the attack. Blood covered the walls and destroyed room. Vases were smashed, pictures hanging off the walls. She saw claw marks on the doors and walls. Her breath started to become short and painful as fear filled her heart
"What happened?" She whispered. Turning to the police officer she shrieked.
"WHAT HAPPENED!" The police officer tried to take her by the arm and escort her outside, but Cassie started to fight against him with a crazed strength that would previous be though impossible by a woman her size.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL HAPPENED? NO DON'T TOUCH ME, WHAT HAPPENED HERE, WHAT HAPPENED? THIS IS MY HOME. WHERE'S MY FAMILY? WHERE'S MY MOTHER? WHERE'S MY FATHER?"
A set of police officers came down the stairs, carrying a stretcher with a body bag. The policer officer from the doorway tried to restrain her, but Cassie broke free. Quickly she rushed for the body bag and unzipped it before anyone could stop her. There on the stretcher, in the body bag, was her mother. Her Mother's skin was pale as a ghost. She lay in her nightgown, rollers still in her hair. Her eyes were wide, and bulging and her face was in an unmistakable mask of fear. She was covered with blood. Cassie back away from the body in horror. Her back pressed against the wall as she gasped for breath, and then she gave the most blood curtling scream that any of them had ever heard before.
...but I very rarely listen~
