Glory tried not to get drawn into the open expanse that was her mind. She had read about that being a lethal thing, being the single quickest to wind up in a permanent dream state. Also known as becoming a vegetable. She followed Tres to the glowing star that had burned her eyes before, but now was nothing more than a light in the dark.

"You'd think my mind would have more in it," she said aloud, but commented to herself. She understood what he meant though. Abilities were always tailored to the user, not the source. Give ten people a box of matches and you have ten different varieties of uses. She close her eyes and with a touch of will opened them.

"Ah!" There was a sharp gasp on her part as she faced the room again. It wasn't that she was surprised. It was that she had held her breath while exiting the dream state.

"Something indeed," she said, suddenly hankering for a cigarette.

<Well, at least someone shut him up. She watched as he fell to the ground by a surprise attack, but it was only when Wyvern rushed her way that she became confused. She did not try to raise arms against him because she was assuming he knew better. But instead, he did the opposite, and once again put his hands on her. She could not stop him time, removing her from the area in a swiftness she could not react to until they had reached the other side of the city.>

<It was only then that she removed his grip with a powerful backslap of her free left arm to break Wyvern off of her, causing her to stare fiercely at him. His disregard was a nuisance. A very huge one.>

"The only reason I have not maimed one of your limbs off is because I want answers. I am seriously ticked off to the point that this city, whatever it is, is not going to be standing for long if someone does not answer me."

"Your not gonna be bending spoons like neo or anything on your first day but I think we ought to do a little exercise so you know what it feels like to use that psionic power."

OOC: We can do this tomorrow or whenever, but I got to go to work in the morning so, I'll leave you with this.

Wild Talent

Wild Talent

The Wild Talent is a creatures predisposition for the development of Psionic Powers. This ability is the presence of naturally produced and stored psychic energy within the mind. This can result from many things ranging from evolution to mutation. This store of power can be cultivated and increased as a person strengthens there psionic ability through training. This ability grants the user with two power points, allowing them to manifest psionic powers. Power points are a measure of how much of this psionic energy a persons mind has access to.

James left Seig where he fell. It wasn't his job to attend to the warrior's wellbeing after he just knocked him unconcious. A good samaritan or two in the crowd would probably head out to check on the monk, and would probably take him to the nearest thing that passed for a hospital, if the Sigil possessed such a thing.

Most of the gathered audience parted way as the daemonslayer walked through. His eyes swept from side-to-side as he made his way, what they were seeking James did not know himself. He had the instinctive feeling that there was definately something else here that was a threat, was it Yusuke's mystery girl? Most of the faces he passed now were just that, no alarms to be raised, but he knew Seig had definately been looking at someone.

He had to be alert. Seig was correct in one thing, the war between Good and Evil, Order and Disorder, was unending. Unlike the monk, who was older, and probably less flexible in his thinking, James had long since accepted the idea of eternal war. As his clan's champion, he was a "gift" to the world to protect the innocent, but at the same time, he was his own curse and doom, destined to be strong and fight forever not only for the weak, but for a world where one could choose to be weak.

Leo, standing not five yards from Trinity would be standing half within her wall of hellfire flames. The contortion of his own seething Recondite darkness pulsing in a small torrential whirlwind engulfed around his languid stance, deterring the flames easily enough given the Recondite elements potential for voiding any manner of heat, or electrical current among other inconsequential things. The whirl wind affect was more so for show, as he doesn't seem to bother removing himself from the outskirts of roaring flames erupting around Trinity. Within this swimming barrier of palpable dark substance Leo would watch the current events unfold, Sieg being knocked out by James, and Wyvern rushing to Trinity's rescue so to speak. This being the point in which the malevolent monstrosity decided to involve himself in the gradually diminishing conflict, doing so easily enough by lifting Deceptions length from his shoulder in a single fluent motion to arc above Trinity's form. The cruel scarlet length of Deception appearing to extend almost instantly, gaining almost fifteen feet of length to strike Wyvern down as he swooped towards Trinity. The whip like extension of Deception being almost like a crimson flash through the hellfire pillar, retracting immediately after as Leo digs the giant blade slightly into the ground to lean languidly upon the protruding hilt.

Leo would waltz on over to Sieg's unconscious form. Deception still wielded over his shoulder, nudging the warrior monk with his booted foot with some measure of casual thoughtfulness.

"You still alive there, buddy."
~~~ The Forest on the OTHER SIDE Sigil ~~~
"I highly suggest you do not threaten this city, because if the order of it were to be thrown to far, I can guarantee that you would not be making it out of here alive, after all, this is the city in which The Lady of Pain resides. I will skip details and put to mind how much you do not want to upset her. When once this city was ruled by a god, fully fledged god, of portals, he threw off the balance to much and with a thought, she killed him. Now that you know this is not the kind of city you want to threaten like that...Wait...you knew my name...does that mean...Damn it all, the fun is over then! I was hoping so much that I could have twisted your arm enough that you would become the fully fledged killer I wanted you to be." Wyvern took a moment as he went off on a tangent, hardly noticing the red mark that was likely on his face. After a few moments of his pratling on about this and that, he finally came to a stop, the glow in his eyes shifting from a cyan to a dark purple suddenly, and with it, a change in attitude. It had seemed that Wyvern had more accurately broken himself enough to effectively have given himself multiple personalities, all of which, however, were based off or some form of rage...well most of them.
"Enough of this talk, you are going to have to be specific in the questions you want answered, but I'll go ahead and tell you the jist of it because I have some questions that I want you to answer then...To start you off, you are in a place that is considered the center of multiple universe and dimensions. It is the crossroad of sorts, this is the city of Sigil. From here, if you know where you are going and what you are doing you can go to anywhere, literally. You are being persued by The Spirit Detective (Yusuke), The Hunter (James), The Corrupted Warrior (Sieg), and it seems The Tainted One (Leo). I am sure I am forgetting someone though. I think you are well aware why The Corrupted Warrior is after you, but it seems The Spirit Detective was hired and that The Hunter is along for the ride. The Tainted One, I can't say what his motives are for sure...
Now I could beat around the bush but I think we both know that I was listening to you longer then you knew I was, after all, I was here first. Before we speak of your precious little Ashita business, you will sit down and you won't cause a ruckus, unless you don't want to know, then you can find out your own answers and your own way back...Also, before I go any further about the Ashita, is there anything else you might want me to address at the same time? I'm letting you have your turn at questions before I have my turn at mine..."
Wyvern stood for a moment, collecting what he had recalled from that night as he waited for her response. He placed his arms behind his back and stood there, the ruckus of the city behind him and Trinity ahead of him. As he stood here, he almost felt like he had become Kire, which disgusted him to no ends. He had to remind himself why he was doing this, and that was because, unlike Kire who had a sick fascination with the woman, Wyvern was interested in what she was capable of, an oddity to him of sorts.
The glow in his eyes were rapidly changing as she probably could guess that a flurry of thoughts and ideas were coursing through his cracked head...
~~~The Pub of Nine Swords~~~

"Hmm, would she kill you...well you said she was collapsed outside in the forest, so I would assume that she is confused and tired, but there is one way to make sure of it. Besides, you don't seem to be enjoying yourself in here young lady. So, how about I escort you out to find her. If things get a bit to hot, then I'll make sure she doesn't lay a hand on you...I may be old, but I'm quite limber for my age after all!" The old man seemed to be showing off his physical capabilities as he pretended to flex his muscles to amuse the young girl. "After all, I once taught students at a temple, taught them the means of defense and that such a thing should only be used to protect, and I wouldn't mind protecting you while you got the answers yourself from that scary woman...How about it? As for that man, I guess I can't tell you who he is unless I know more about him..." The imposter stood there with a head cocked to the side as he awaited the young ladies answers. Wyvern himself wanted to bring this girl out to test two things, he wanted to see Trinity's reaction first hand and from that, he would find out the second thing he wanted to know.

(( Post was a little rushed because I am as tired as sin...good night... ))

Outside burnt forest ((Sieg's unconscious body)) ~~ Ladies Ward

Shrugging, the thought of killing Sieg never seemed to cross his mind. Though the opportunity to accentuate some manner of entertainment in the future blossomed quite a few different idea's, some of which he was sure would change Sieg's perceptions or ideals quite a bit. A minor feat, really. Leo thought to teach Sieg a very valuable lesson, one the holy monk no doubt already knew though would rediscover on a whole new level. A paradox of sorts, though only viewed as such by the limited comprehension of those that automatically assume 'light' equals good, and 'dark' equals bad. Such common ignorant assumptions would test Sieg against those he fought for whether it was the good fight or not.

Philosophy aside, Leo would begin his work. Now, how do most people describe evil in appearance? Demon's often get stuck with either soot black, blood red, or various other 'evil' colored skin. Red eye's often being assumed malevolent as well, along with extra appendages. Leo wouldn't bother himself with to many details, since his mischief would be easy enough regardless.

"Time for a new make over, oh holy of holy monks"

Crouching down beside the unconscious Sieg, Leo would use his one available hand to hover over the largely built monks head. Such a simple display wouldn't merit any immediate attention, though Leo didn't bother with any showy energy displays, flashing lights, or other such spectacles. Nope. Instead he'd quite simply wave his hand over Sieg's form once from head to foot, this causing a wavering mirage affect to coalesce over the warriors form. His previously healthy brown complexion rippling as Leo moves his hand into a rough pitch black texture. Should the monk open his eye's he'd find the iris's were now blood red, though without any manner of luminescence. With this accomplished, Leo would add a little extra detail work. Fashioning two demon like horns to protrude perhaps an inch and a half from either side of the top of Sieg's cranium.

This sort of transformation hinting at no manner of 'Magick' or 'Runic' affect introduced to Sieg to change his appearance. Rather Leo was working more so on an alchemist, and psionic level. Altering Sieg's physical anatomy with his pre-existing physiological body, fashioning the horns as an added growth of his skull rather then something implanted. The pigment of his skin easily altered along with the texture, as was the pigment of his iris's. For all intensive purposes, Sieg would now appear as some manner of black demon with red eyes. Humorous, since his aura, abilities, and techniques would all function exactly as they had before. A demon in appearance who channeled celestial light.

"Wonder how long you'll spend searching out who did this to you, or how to reverse it"

Brandishing an amused grin, Leo would nudge the man with his foot once more. Of course anyone with skill in alchemy, or physiological psionics/manipulation could return Sieg to his previous appearance by altering back the minuscule things Leo had altered. Yet he wondered whether the holy warrior would actually grow to appreciate his new appearance. After all, one shouldn't judge another based off such deceptive qualities as physical appearance. For those that know Sieg, his facial features, muscle/bone structure, and so forth would still be the same aside from the horns, eyes, and skin tone. Finished with this simple wave of his hand, Leo would scratch his chin a moment as if contemplating. Leaving Sieg here would probably only frustrate him once he learns of his new appearance, since the last thing he'd remember was his battle with James.

"Guess the least I could do is transport you some where more comfortable then here, huh."

Hoping back up to his feet, Leo would brandish Deception to thrust the pointed edge back into his chest. The spray of blood released appearing to freeze within thin air, drawing back along with Deceptions length into Leo's body in slow motion until the sword, blood, and wound were no longer visible. Brushing some manner of dirt or dust from his shirt, Leo would stand over the demonic looking holy monk. A bright flash of his scarlet iris's rending a fluctuating rift to render just beneath the both of them, who would then sink in gradually through the seemingly impenetrable flat black hole. Such a dimensional portal instantly transferring them to some street outside a rather large estate within the Ladies Ward of Sigil.

Allowing Sieg to be carried in part by the tangible Recondite darkness, giving the monk the appearance of being carried by some invisible force concealed within the opaque substance swimming about his new visage. Leonardo himself would continue his leisurely stride up to the front gate of the estate, waving casually at the guard posted before a patch of the Recondite element erupts from beneath the guards feet within his little station building. Suffocating the man easily enough, Leo would fluently kick the gate in with a speed break boom causing the metal to bend mercilessly rather then simply swing open. Advancing forward, the casually clad Leo would construct a barrier out of a single dimensional portal. Bending the rift around them as any that looked at them would rather see what was there only minutes previously, pending some sort of time flux as a cloak.

Once within the house, the rest blood bath would begin. Guards of course stationed around, as Leo playfully seemed to jog about in place, delivering brutal blows to the back of peoples heads, rib cages, and spines. These speed break punches, and kicks devastating the two men standing just within the front entrance. Sending them reeling through a wall together, one of which finds himself impales on some ornate trophy head of a creature closely resembling a unicorn. Disarming the previous time flux cloak, Leo would continue to demolish guards in this same brawler style. Sieg following mindless just behind or to his side levitated by the Recondite flowing across the surface of his body. Upon reaching the second floor Leo would navigate himself to an empty room, setting Sieg down on the bed to rest.

A thoughtful gesture, though with this accomplished Leo would stroll on back out into the hall way. He'd already left a trail of carnage up to where he was now, and hadn't finished just yet, especially as the Ladies Ward was home of the rich and well protected. Why though was he doing this? A second thought really, as he aimed for Sieg to wake up to his new appearance and assume in some unconscious way he'd been the one to kill all these people. At the least, he'd know that whoever changed his appearance had killed these people if he hadn't. Frivolous details really, ones Leo wouldn't bother himself with as he paces room to room to slaughter whoever was still awake. Those asleep would be spared, as Sieg wouldn't even in conflicted rage kill someone that was defenseless.

Once finished, Leo would simply exit the house. Pausing outside near the front gate a moment, he'd ponder a moment whether he could set the place on side. Deciding that wouldn't be in Sieg's best interest, he'd instead wander his way back towards the Nine Swords Pub. The itch to kill, bleed, and slaughter just hardily scratched after the blood bath within the three story mansion of sorts. No one in there had been much of a challenge, though he'd content himself for a beer at the moment. Fishing a single cigarette from his pant pocket, he'd ignite the tip with a flame conjured from the tip of his thumb. A poor parlor trick, though he didn't have his favored silver zippo on him. The path back to the pub would be a long one since he was way out in the fancy part of town, deciding to walk the distance rather then gate about. Instant travel wasn't as entertaining as good ol' fashion walking.

Sieg/Tres:

"If you're not cool with this, feel free to let me know and ignore it. rofl

Thought it would be an interesting twist I could help you out with, since the changes are literally only skin deep. Being the only one left online after everyone else left, I though to curve my boredom with a bit of mischief.

Enjoy."

Even the alleys and backstreets of The Ladies Ward were extravagant in comparison to the loftiest avenues of Gaia Prime. It was something that Ale continually found himself grinning about as he carried a small satchel full of clanking vials filled with milky red liquid. Finally finding a suitable sewer, the young man tipped the bag over, spilling it's contents into the shadowy underground. The silence of their decent was suddenly punctuated with the collective shattering of glass, and somewhere behind the splintering of the containers was the faintest sound of an elderly man screaming as if being politely pulled through a grain thresher.

His quaint smile widened with pride as he stood upright and turned to make his way back up to the exquisite Rofflebottom estate. The large mansion was nothing special in the light of it's peers in the Ward; however, it was a glorious spectacle by Gaian standards and it would serve as the new house of the Vorad clan perfectly.

Ale's contacts back in Durem had spent the better half of a year sorting the paper work to make the Rofflebottom estate disappear with standard protocol, allowing Ale and his family to move into the vacancy as legal inheritance. The man who now so casually made his way through the back gate into the garden with astonishing posture had spent an equal amount of time eliminating the Gaia bound members of the Rofflebottoms and shaking the trail, and now with the patriarch out of the way, there was nothing stopping Ale from setting up shop and operating out of the prestigious City of Doors.

The city's location and unique accessibility ensured a safe environment while House Vorad built a suitable offense against the coming of the Siblings. Something he was not ecstatic about, but the security here allowed them time to be ready.

The next step would be to get to work on reprograming the house's doors and portals to open in new locations and with appropriate keys. Ale made his way up to the mansion's library and began studying the dynamics of planar portallisicm and hoped that the letter he had sent to his father would reach him and that the oaf would be able to understand the directional instructions on how to meet him in their new home.

<Wyvern was an independent being. He always acted upon his own whims and was always plotting. Always. There was not a minute that went by where he was not thinking of some other plan, other than when he starts to go into his small ramblings whenever he spoke. She did not mind this attribute of him. It meant he was never going to act on impulse, which also meant he knew better than to do anything to anger or even think of making her do anything unless it was a huge favor. However, the fact that he just implied of taking advantage of her amnesia or whatever state she was in at a time made her tense up. He stepped over the line, just now realizing she was once again the Trinity that was aware of her transgressions throughout her life.>

<She wanted to torture him and teach him a lesson in discipline. She wanted to, yet, she was amused. Like the intelligent guy he was, he knew to wait until she was not aware of herself before guiding her in the ways that he had done to her before she got her memories back. On the good side, it meant that he respected her power. It was a minor thought, but it held a world of a difference between hurting him and leaving him this chance to have his deeds forgiven. Thus, she took a step forward.>

"If you ever think you will have the voice of authority between us, I am going to have to reteach you about who I am, Wyvern. I am going to let your acts be forgotten only because the only thing more useful than killing you is getting all the answers to my questions."

<He was going to tell her what she wanted to know anyway. There was no other way she was going to go about getting the information she deserved. She was not going to be left here with no idea of the current scenario. The more she understood, the better she will be able to plan her next course of actions. So, she received the location and the current people going after her. It was not enough.>

"Why were they after me? How did I get to this city? What happened to me after the Dark Tournament a year ago? Where is Maria?"

<Maria was the only one she truly loved, so it was only natural that she asked about her well being. The last thing she wanted to hear was that Vivillian managed to use her to destroy the one she loved. If that ever had happened, ooooh the things she would do to that woman if she ever got her hands on her.>
