Life is so repetitive. You wake up, you work, you head home, you sleep, then you repeat the process all over again. There's nothing exciting about it at all. Some of you like that. You enjoy working a regular nine-to-five job and spending quality time with your family. Your husbands, your wives, your sons and daughters. All of them mean something to you and you would never change that for the world. Some of you like to take risks in your life. You hate having to live your life following someone else's rules or going through each of your days like a machine, repeating the same task over and over again. It gets tiring. It drives you insane. So you live life on the edge. Though, each of your definitions of "excitement" vary. Some of you like to travel around the world and explore all that there is to be see. Whether it be catacombs to hidden towns and villages. You love to meet new people and learn about their cultures. Some of you like to take even bigger risks. Sky diving, mountain climbing, deep sea diving, and cliff diving all get your blood rushing and your mind soaring. You want to be free and live with no limitations. Some of you take it into a whole new perspective. You kill and you commit acts of terror. Anything illegal will excite you. But, everyone should do what they love, shouldn't they? Who's there to stop you?

Well, maybe death of course.

Are you dead? Not exactly. Before you died you were taken to a strange room. Though, it is not like most rooms you would see at your friend's house. There are two door on each side, one to leave on the left and one to gather any items you will need on the right. There is a television set at the front of the wall, some old piece of junk. Never be fooled by appearances. You and those around you are the lucky ones. Every second someone is dying, but only you have been chosen. Why exactly? Outside of the room is a strange city. Where you from Japan? or maybe Australia? No matter where you came from, you have been transported to a room in the mysterious city. Through the windows you can make out more rooms built exactly the same as yours containing people in them. In each one, everyone is reacting differently. Much like the room you have been transported to. Some of those inside of your room are curled into balls crying for their mommies. Some of them are curiously staring out of the room trying to make sense of it all. A select few may even be standing together, watching you as if to mock you while keeping to themselves. The TV suddenly snaps on, words on the screen appearing on the screen.

Confused? You should be. Those around you act in all sorts of ways. Questioning the purpose of them being gathered, crying and sobbing, or still keeping quiet like some kind of predator. A door opens, the closet door slowly moving back to reveal an array of items. On hangers, a number of clothing waits for their owners. The exact number of clothes as the people inside. Attached to the strange uniforms is one weapon for each person. It looks like a simple pistol, but be careful not to pull the trigger. They have a nasty blast. Do not lose your uniform or your weapon because you will not be getting a replacement. Do you really think you will get to holds hand while here? While there are both children and the elderly, having to show a step-by-step process of everything is just a bore. In every other room the people inside are going through the same process. Do you see it now? You've all been gathered here for a special reason.

To play a little game.


＂ｌ ｅ ｔ ' ｓxxｐｌ ａ ｙxxａxxｇ ａ ｍ ｅ . . .＂


From all over the world, those who have been chosen to participate in the game have been put into teams at random. What if you are American and died visiting Italy? Well then, hopefully you speak their language. It makes it fun that way. The message on the screen has been written by an unknown entity name 'Ruler'. You'd better listen to it or you will face dire consequences. Don't believe it? Sure, test it out. The world needs less idiots anyway. That brings up something else. If you die during your time in the city you won't be revived again. This is your second chance, be glad you have it. Though, if you are still clinging on to life when the mission is over you may still be transported. So please, be careful out there.

While you can explore the city and its many wonders, remember one simple rule. Don't leave the boundaries. Don't know where it is? Maybe you should conduct a trial-and-error experiment? Be sure to make some friends or stay with your relatives because you won't be leaving the city for a long time. There is no leaving. You can return to the room at any point in time by either entering through the door you came through or, if you're lazy or maybe got yourself lost, ask to be transported back. Though the Ruler only listens to some so keep that in mind. The city is built to simulate a regular, bustling city. There are people you can interact with and there are animals you can meet. Beware, the same bad apples are still wandering the streets. Not to mention a couple of creatures. They are not what you may think they are either. Some hide behind human flesh and wait for their prey. Some will attack in broad daylight. Others may even try to help, but you can never be sure. Don't you worry though, they are merely a simple aspect of the game. There is even a little bonus surprise for you all. Every so often there will be a mysterious drop from a random location. Inside are certain items. You will receive on of the items made by the machine itself. Go right ahead. Want a new uniform? You got that as well. Want to switch teams or even, wait for it, bring someone on to your team? Drama is always good to have. The world is a dangerous place even after you've already experienced its tragic horrors for yourself.

Enough of that. The doors are open. Grab your partners, form a group, make some enemies, and remember to have fun. There is no time limit. The doors close at night if you want to rest safely inside. The barriers are up. The world is alive. This is your second chance to live. Don't screw this one up as well. We're cheering for you.
