Location: Hotel Room
Company: William
Thoughts: Things were as simple as this back then.
OilyOrganCans:
Smiling Venus flipped over her rather low straight and then sat back in her chair. "I haven't played far too many card tricks on you. I've been on my best behavior for as far as I can tell." She slowly picked the cards up from the table and began to gently shuffle them until placing the cards in the center of the table. Venus then leaned her head against her hand on the table," Me? Bring someone home?" She paused for a moment to consider herself ever falling in love. Her entire life she had done so much to protect Dione and yet be different Dione she had never thought much beyond that. If Aphrodite had found someone then surely she had some capacity to do the same. Though she didn't think finding a man in her profession would be the wisest idea. "Well I'll be sure to be on the look out for someone presentable for you to judge." she finally replied. As usual William seemed to dance around this idea of him being popular with the ladies. Ever since he was young he had that charming face and he never knew how to behave with it. Leading one girl after the next into his web of clever phrases and sweet whispers. It made no different to her though how William chose to live his life. If he found it fun than she supposed there was no reason to criticize him for that. Sighing she nodded," Well of course you are popular still. Don't think I didn't hear about almost immediately after we got back that you and that ethnic....Egyptian girl have something going on. Then of course I am more than aware of what your relationship with Stella should be...." Pausing she then giggled to herself," Though the very idea of that has always been a bit laughable especially with you, but I leave that for the higher ups to figure out. I'm just along for the ride until that settles."
She gave another brief pause as he seemed to think she would want to play a more physical game. Taking a deep breath she truly did not care for the game of chess, but after a brief silence she nodded," Why not chess? You've played all my card games with you so I do believe I owe it to you to play a game of chess." she replied. Moving the cards to her side of the table to make room for the chess table she gave a small glance back towards the door to Aphrodite's room. She hadn't heard anything yet so she assumed Aphrodite was resting peacefully which was good. Venus had some extra rare pieces of steak in the refrigerator just in case Aphrodite woke up with any cravings. To be honest she wasn't particularly worried though. After all she knew that Aphrodite was made up of the same potential and abilities as she was to some degree. In which case given the time to rest without fear Aphrodite's body should be able to figure out how to fight off the Virus.

A little over a mile away one of Venus's clones had found Ren. It growled to him lowly. In the darkness of night its entire frame was hard to see, but the one thing that could not be mistaken was the glowing of its white eyes. Slowly the clone shadow hound began to circle around Ren. There wasn't much it was going to be able to do other than to try and move Ren back towards the hotel. It could not cause Ren any physical harm because it would just phase through him. However; if it did phase through him it would cause Ren to become unnaturally sleepy. One more it wouldn't be able to catch him and drag it away because it did not have the ability to make other things tangible or intangible. All it could do was the basic plan of trying to scare Ren into a particular direction. Having found Ren's location Venus glanced over to a window. Closing her eyes slightly she then tapped the table slightly. Her other hounds would be heading in that direction soon so hopefully between all of them, they'd be able to get Ren back to take care of Aphrodite.
