"You'll find me where the water touches the earth and birds sing sorrowful songs of love. You'll feel my strength in the rain and wind that caress the shores of my home. And here, is where I belong. Where no one can harm me again."

✓Wish's eyes darted back and forth as most of everyone in the kitchen acknowledged her presence. She smiled when Nora offered her some of the tacos she had made. Nodding her head she thankfully accepted the offer with the sound of a rumbling tummy and a small laugh. Then another voice chimed in filling her ears. "Care to join us for a bit of lunch? I know when I wake up from a nap I'm usually starving." The dark haired girl gave a sheepish smile and scratched the back of her head, turning towards Fin now. "Yeah, I am pretty hungry, as you can tell from the sounds my tummy keeps making." She pulled her hair over to one side, eyes looking over to a figure who had started laughing. She had noticed his presence probably first, considering the notice able water features and other things that stuck out with him. She laughed with him, understanding all too well what he meant. Time beneath the water was much different compared to the time measurements they use above water. She may not have lived beneath water for as much time as he, but its still like a second home to her. Though, she had to admit getting to know someone like him would be fun. She's met many different kinds of water dwellers throughout the years but it wasn't as often as she'd like. She wasn't in the ocean very much, and it wasn't common to meet someone like herself in a creek at home.
Slowly Wishlyn stood up from the table so she could grab a plate and put together a couple tacos for herself. That's when Nora spoke up speaking of having been rude. Wish shook her head and smiled. "No, no. That's alright. I'm Wishlyn, Wish for short. Its nice to meet you." She watched as the little sugar glider companion jumped from Nora to her plate where it picked from a small pile of goodies set aside for it. "Oh my goodness! And who might this be??" She asked looking closer at the tiny creature. It looked so soft and friendly and for some reason, Wish found herself wanting to hold the little guy. "He's absolutely adorable!" She smiled and went back to prepping her tacos. Once she was finished she sat back down and took a bite. "Mmm." The spices mingled perfectly with the lettuces, cheese, and salsa she put on them. She felt a ting of envy, knowing her cooking would probably never be this tasteful. How was she supposed to 'win' any one over if she couldn't do even these kinds of tasks?
She let her minimal worries subside and took another bite of her taco, everyone seemed to be enjoying their tacos or were making them now. Looking up once more she saw the pink haired girl looking towards her direction with an answer to Wish's question for a moment earlier. "Its 1:15 already?? Damn.. I must have been really tired.." She rubbed the back of her neck wondering what it might have been that knocked her out so hard. Wish ended up just shrugging her shoulder and smiling at the girl. "And thank you." She watched as a slight change took place in the girls hair. Wish's eyes widened for a second before going back to normal. She shouldn't be too surprised over that, considering everything else she's seen here already.
At that moment she noticed that another unfamiliar face was making its way into the kitchen. Blue eyes looked up to put a voice to the face and slowly chewed her food. He seemed a bit, preppy? Or something similar to that. He immediately went over to speak with Kae who was still swallowing down his foreign cuisine. Wish just finished off her plate and then took it to the sink where she began washing it off. "I agree, those tacos were pretty good. I give kudos to the cooks." She turned off the faucet once she finished cleaning off her dish. The skin on her hands instantly absorbed the water that covered them so she had no need for a towel or anything. She then decided to help clean up the kitchen while others ate. "Once your done just set them in the sink and i'll get it all cleaned. After all, we don't want the cooks cleaning as well." Manors, manors, manors. Wish had more than enough when it came to good manors, to the point where sometimes people think she's too sweet. But if she was anything but, then she wouldn't be the Wishlyn everyone knew.
