June had been in this town for about a day, and long from home for about twenty-two suns. She's seen a lot on her travels, more than she could of imagined. Her place back in the homes and the other islands had a lot to behold, it seemed every where she went there was always something new and little room routine interest. The only thing she could ever come to a comfortable view was herself alone, she could seem some familiarity from time to time though nothing ever seemed to be the exact same. Maybe it was wrong to enjoy this too much, but there didn't seem to be a penalty for it.

She had wandered through town returning from some wetlands to pick a decent worth of wild grass for a man who was willing to pay. At the stand he stood, and when she returned he gave her a decent amount for what she had. She smiled, "I hope it's green enough." she said, unsure what he was to do with it, but it didn't matter to her. She had waved goodbye and placed the money within her small, left satchel. She had two small waist bags on each side, one for her general combat and the other held more personal items. She had her usual bow and arrow set tied to her person as well, though many didn't seem to be too bothered by it, June hadn't payed attention to those that were possibly watching her.

She was hungry and the day would end soon. With such time she felt she hadn't made much progress, but surely the illness beyond would be slower than her. She had to hope, and keep trying each day, and starving would only slow her down. She had headed to the tavern, seeing a few people flee from it and hearing a lot of yelling along with glass and plates breaking against the floor. She had wandered in curiously, dodging quickly to the right as some man was thrown past her. A smile was brought to her face at the sight, she looked around quickly towards one man tossing another onto a table. June had wandered in to face him head one, giving her best of a bunch. Most had already had the taste of alcohol and were a bit hindered on their balance, regardless June was laughing and taking what others were willing to throw at her. To her, it seemed like an old fashion bar fight.

Artemis pulled the woven together branches over the small tent like shelter she had made herself. It would keep her dry and hidden from the creatures that go bump in the night and would easily hunt herself and her Catra Chuck. Artemis pulled her hood down from over her brown hair and off her shoulders. She lay it on the ground and whistled. Shortly after a large great horned owl and her Sand Catra made their way to the shelter. Artemis sat down on the cloak and looked at the creatures. They both had a mouse of some sort in their mouths and she smiled. She patted the Chuck’s head. She didn’t enjoy eating meat she preferred to eat plants. She was a vegetarian. She pulled out her small pack of food she started to pick at it. “I suppose I should start a small fire.” She said the the cat and owl. She got a small meow from the cat and the words. ‘yes’ crawled through her mind from the owl. She smiled and stood again. She started to gather larger rocks. Placing them in a circle she finished gathering the required items for the fire and puled out her flint and struck it with a rock.

When sat down on solid, beautiful land, she had never been more thankful in her life to be out of the god forsaken icey waters. Wrapping her arms around herself as if it would help any, she shook her head at his apology knowing that without him she most likely would have burned to death, "It's f-f-fine. Thank you." Watching as he begun to take off the large metal gauntlet hiding his soon freed hand along with a generous amount of water, a clap and a moment later and his hands were glowing a pale yellow, emitting a bit of warmth. It wasn't much but Elektra was definitely not in the position to complain. Another joined them, red-headed, large wings, tall, muscular and... almost naked. Well, hello. So she wouldn't be caught staring and gawking at him like he was a tall glass of water in the middle of the desert, she pried her eyes away from beautiful pecs and abs and spotted Eris, Everett, and the rest of their group along the river bank as well. She hoped they wouldn't mind if she tagged along, if only to be with people she was more familiar with.

"Th-thanks again. I'll return to my... friends." The word sounded foreign and unfamiliar on her tongue, almost unsure if it was proper to call them as such being who she was. Breaking off from the two men to re-join with them, she caught just the last bit of their conversation upon approach. Elektra had taken a good bit of coin from Nithall's private stash before leaving, pulling out the few gold coins she had in her back pocket and holding them out towards Eris, "Should be enough to get a nice roo.. r..." Quickly she turned her head away to sneeze, wrapping her arms around herself again and continuing where she left off, "Room. I'm not really all that hungry..." All she cared about right now was just getting comfortable, being soaked to the bone and was seconds away from turning into human-popsicle. A long, warm shower was just right up her alley.

Ageni looked to her mentor when she mentioned that they couldn’t afford an inn. Considering that probably the majority of people from the ship probably escaped onto the docks, there would be no room for them to stay anyway. Well they could always camp out in the forest perhaps. Ageni gave Eris a nod in understanding then glanced over at Everett who had looked at her. Face going red she turned away again. That man was… mean. Very much so after that… attempt to save his life. She should have just pushed him back into the water once more. Ageni perked up at the sound of silver. At least they could get food. Hopefully the food wouldn't taste as bad as the food on the ferry. Her stomach dreaded to recall it.

Takkashi took the money from Eris and turned to go. As she to turned to follow, happy to get away from the awkwardness with the wolf man, a sudden burst of courage flooded through her. She should have just left him in the water. Ageni turned around, walked straight up to the man and slapped him around the face. She was angry! He had been a… a jerk! But seeing his shocked expression now on his face made her cower back and squeak an apology. “I-I’m sorry!”

She had every right to for what he did but… Slapping someone was still mean! Red faced she didn’t even have the gall to see her mentor’s expression and quickly scampered off after Takkashi. He did deserve it! He did! But why did she feel so bad for slapping him. Ageni sighed. She didn’t feel like explaining to Takkashi why she had done such a terrible thing.

They both arrived quietly to the dock town where refugees from the ships all seemed to try and bustle into the taverns while crowds of them stood around discussing what had gone down. She overhead one man say it was a drunkard who had accidently set the ship alit while trying to lit his cigar while others said it was one of the sailors after a row with his girlfriend. Ageni sighed as she carried on. No it was that demon… but… she wondered now, was that little child alright with him? Maybe the demon wanted it eat it. Ageni frowned. Had it been right of her to leave that girl in his hands?

Takkashi now ordered some fish at one of the local fish stands. The vendor’s expression was stunned from the string of events that occurred. She looked over at Takkashi and asked him quietly. “What do you think will happen to all these people?”

Out of habit, Roland’s eyes swept over the paladin to check for any injuries even though he claimed to be alright. Satisfied, he gave his own little glance over towards the boat, shaking his head and turning his back around just in time to see the soaked, shivering woman walk off to re-join her own companions. Dressed like she was and given her disheveled appearance, she was extremely distracting; on the equivalent of looking like a dangerously gorgeous water nymph that leads men to their doom at sea. Even Roland could end up being sucked into those alluring eyes of hers. Peeling his gaze away and following after the blonde-haired man, the chill from being outside finally hit him, goose bumps rising on his overly exposed skin, I need to put something on… Roland muttered, shifting the cloth he had around his hip a bit to try and cover up more. Least to say, it wasn’t really working, The name is Roland by the wa… what the hell? He looked back up in time to see a random shirtless man come running from out of the tavern and crashing into the singer they were with before they got separated, currently dressed in skimpy woman’s flight attendant garb.

The sight was very disturbing, especially compared to the beautiful woman he had literally just saw not even minutes before. Roland didn’t quite know how to react to this, extremely tempted to just turn around and walk away like he didn’t know either of them, so off-put by the sight that he hadn’t even seen the stranger who ran into him come this way only to get knocked onto his arse by the blonde companion, his attention snapping over from the heavy ‘thud’ noise and sending Roland into hysterical laughter at how comical it looked. Practically pointing and laughing now, his laughter quickly dried up when the boy had the nerve to hop up and try and knock the paladin over, Hey, you little pri— Markus’s voice pipped up over his though, catching Roland off guard by the parental scolding he was now giving this Seraphyn idiot. Intrigued and amused, he crossed his arms in front of his chest and smirked at the sight. Now this was definitely worth sticking around for, a man dressed in drag scolding a boy like a father. What a morning.

Sara Lightfoot
Captain of the Greatest Venture

Nope, it was no good- there was nowhere in this place to get a drink or a meal without someone throwing something, or setting something on fire, or. Sara sat at the bar, trying to sip on her pint. The fact that this was her second already, and she that apparently hadn't come up for air, didn't make the arduous task of bringing the tankard to her mouth all too easy. She had already missed her mouth once, and had to dodge a flying glass before trying again.

Okay, let's try again. Sara's hands, rather unsteadily, grasped her tankard and began to lift it. Easy... Easy... There we go- now, just take a sip--

A chair, the remnant of some drunken brawl on the other end of the bar, crashed to the floor behind her stool and bounced, knocking her seat out of her from under her. Sara screamed a little as gravity took a hold of her and deposited her, rather unceremoniously, onto the floor of the bar, her tankard spinning off the bar. It tottered and spun off down, missing her head and landing on the floor with a spin. Surprisingly, given her luck today, the tankard did not manage to spill a drop on its decent.

Sara's eyes gleamed as she snatched up her drink and retreated under a table with her bag to take a breather and a long-deserved sip. She raised the tankard to her lips, savoring the moment, before her cover was flipped over, scattering cards everywhere, and a brawl started over her head.

"Nononononono!!!" she whined, huddling over her bag and her drink. There was an uneasy moment as she was grabbed by the belt around her waist and tossed away from the scuffle, beer spilling all over her as she rolled into someone. She sat up, leaning against the person's legs and glanced, without much hope, at her empty mug.

"Noooo...! How can today get any worse!?" she whined, more to herself than anyone else. She looked up at her stopping point and blinked. It was quite a view; a short-haired woman in a bikini made of blue scale.
"Oh. H-hey, up there. M-mind giving me a hand there, cutie?" Sara blinked and blushed, hiding behind her bag as she realized her drinks were doing the talking. "Sorry, I didn't mean...! H-hang on."

Sara managed to pull herself up on the second attempt by use of a table, which she leaned against and grinned. "There! No bones broken!" she assured the woman, who probably wasn't interested. "Sorry!" she added again, trying to wring out her skirt and giving her new acquaintance an embarrassed grin. "I'm Sara."

June had just averted one of her attackers near to the window until she felt something on her leg, as if something was about to grasp it. She'd quickly turn her upper body and look down to see a drunken lass waving at her. June had already been smiling to look friendly enough, maybe too friendly as she wasn't aware how startled the woman was. Watching her try to pick herself up, having tilted her head in curiosity she laughed slightly at her apologetic nature. June would reach her hand out to try and forcefully grasp Sara's hand "It's nice to meet you, and don't be afraid, everyone's just playing."

At least, that's what June thought, as far as she new. This felt like play fighting, surely everyone was just playing and having at it with their frustrations. "My name's June," she'd eventually release her hand "I can probably buy you a new p-" June didn't see it coming, she wasn't sure how many others possibly did. One of the men came back for revenge and charged at her from the side, a simple attack, but she'd fly into the nearest wall or table that had been in her way. Not much harm would of been done to her except given a minor concussion, some dizziness to follow.

XXXXTakkashi seemed somewhat reluctant to go, but he did not argue, simply asked for help. Eris nodded for Ageni and Biqa to do so -- hoping the little geomancer could stand on his own at that point. She smiled apologetically as he turned to leave. She was sorry anything had to end up this way. The white child stalled behind for a moment, seeming like she was sizing up Everett for a moment. Eris watched, somewhat curious and somewhat worried, feeling like a mother that needed to separate two children about to start a fight. Sure enough Ageni reached up and slapped the large man, only to apologize briefly in her embarrassment. Eris was so shocked for a moment that it took her a second before she burst out laughing. Oh, she wanted to hug her so tight for that.~

XXXXEris was about to show Ageni how she was supposed to do it correctly when her attention was pulled away by a clinking of coins. The witch turned with a confused frown as Elektra approached, handing her a small pouch that looked much heavier than her own had. "Oh sweetie, come here," she took the pouch offered and practically yanked on the offering hand to pull the cold dancer into her chest for warmth. Ageni was in the same boat, but she at least had a decent amount of clothes on. Her apprentice took the gold as she rubbed a little warmth into Ele. "Why don't you take your own money and buy something warm and dry, hm?" she suggested, letting her go and nudging her in the directions her companions had gone. "Ageni, you do the same!" she called, hoping she had heard. She was tempted to just steal Everett's big cloak and yank it off of him to tie the two poor girls together for warmth, but she let it be. Didn't need to make the wolfman any angrier.

XXXXSpeaking of which... "I'm assuming you're expecting to be fed and warmed up as well," she nodded to Everett, closing up her case carefully. "Go ahead and follow them then. I have to..." she lifted the case with an annoyed frown, "...refill my stock, as it were." She turned away from the scene and walked off in the opposite direction toward the trees. She wouldn't be able to find a lot of the ingredients she needed, but she would take what she could get. The mountain was lush and green. There should be quite a bit she could work with without having to purchase it all over again.

Seraphyn was beyond confused at this point. A man in drag, who actually looked good as woman, was scolding him. Seraphyn was doing his best not to laugh but snorts escaped him. This was to much for him to take and seeing as he was inibriated he just laughed. "Im sorry, hahahahaha, I just... BWA HAHAHAHA. I'm not... bwahahah, Im not being rude i swear. BWAHAHAHAH." Sera looked to the paladin and apologized for attacking him between fits of laughter. This was probably one of the funniest days hes had in a long time. After he calmed a bit he pulled out one of his sweet smelling smoke and lit it. Being polite he offered to the other people around him.

"Ok im terribly sorry you guys got involved, but I was only trying to escape the bar. Some guy tried to heckle me about being a half-breed. Well lets say it didnt end so well for him. Oh if you see the big guy who is hunched over holding his balls tell him im sorry, but he had that coming." Sera took a few more puffs of smoke then put it out and back into his little pouch. Looking back to the guy in drag he put his arm around him "Hey do you do this often or is this a special occasion. Gotta admit you look good as a chick. ".

She almost was tempted to punch his hand out the way and most likely would have if not taking notice to her new friend backing its way into the darkness of the tunnels again. Why didn’t it want to come up? Did it not like her anymore? This made her all the more upset. Recalling it’s curious nature, she glanced around the tunnel for possibly another rat or anything really to try and lure it with them until Fang spoke up about a cat that Brick had hid in his jacket earlier, making a lightbulb go off in her head.

                                                                                        Perfect!

Windy also took note to the chimera’s feet and size, placing a hand on her chin in a thoughtful manner and staring down at it for a while, Hmm… if we could make the dragon’s mouth just a liiiiittle more welcoming… Grabbing her Warhammer, she strapped it back onto her back securely and crouched very low to the ground, sucking in a big breath and hopping rather high. Hands caught grip to the edge, hoisting herself up and over with a loud grunt and wasting no time nor asking permission, she stood up and lifted the cat from out the metal man’s pocket before laying back down flat on her stomach on the street, slowly lowering the cat down the hole for Fang to bait the creature with. Once the cat was taken, Windy attempted to wedge her hammer within the opening but not even it could manage to fit in the opening all the way much less pry the thing open, the struggle earning a whine from her as she begun to hop on top of the hammer as if it would help any being that her weapon weighed much, much more than herself, Nooooo! Whhyyy!?

By my own hand, or none...

The Paladin was suddenly sent staggering forward from some force or other. He staggered into the bard and spun around, fist cocked and ready to swing, before Markus was in the midst, calling the man out and telling him off like an errant schoolboy.

Krayden shook his arm to let the tension ease out of it as the bard ranted at the shirtless man. Well, that seemed to be that- the man, clearly drunk, seemed to be amicable enough. He was getting on well enough with the Bard. Krayden was in no mood to try and deal with him in this state, so, with a glance to the Angel, he jerked his head to the street and walked over.

"Sorry- proper introduction time." he announced, turning to the angel and extending his gloved hand, taking his and shaking it firmly. "Krayden Jevel. A pleasure, Roland. Now, c'mon- let's see if we can track down your red-headed friend."

To the bard, he called, "Singer! We're moving out."

Now it was just a case of tracking down the demon.

'And so the tune will play on and on...'

Markus kept up the stern expression, not amused by the man simply laughing in response to him. The stern look wrinkled into a look of disgust as the man pulled out a foul smelling smoke of some kind and began to partake in it. He covered his mouth and nose and raised his hand to keep it far away from him when the man offered him some. "Your actions do not match your words much..."

Frowning, he lowered his hand as the man finally apologized. Rather poorly in his opinion though. Judging from how he was acting however he figured it was the best he was going to get. His body stiffened when the man put an arm around him and proceeded to flirt with him, which only got worse as his companions left. Thankfully it seemed they were expecting him to join them.

"I do apologize..." Raising his hand, he pushed himself away from the strange and absolutely foul smelling man. "But I am straight. And married." Sighing, he picked his regular clothing out of the muck and slipped it on, the dress soon being hidden from view. "Besides, I would rather not be around someone who smells so foul as you." Turning, he walked off after the two toward whatever it was their current destination was.

Ozymandias
"Horror, despair, fear without compare! Abandon these all of thee, lest you stand no chance against me!"

User Image

Honestly, Ozymandias was surprised by the generosity of the Time Mage, and he suddenly found himself re-evaluating the Time Mage, since he hadn't exactly done anything kind or noteworthy to merit such teamwork. Honestly, Ozymandias was already sickened by having to pair up with a team of all things to do something as mundane as killing a bunch of bandits, but apparently today was nothing but surprises. Accepting the potion with silence, Ozymandias downed the potion and felt it rejuvenating him, and in combination with his current non-combat state, he was already feeling his wounds and injuries begin to repair themselves... even if it would take more than half a day for them to heal on their own. "Thank you... I guess I owe you one time mage, so here." And Ozy passed his own mana potion to Maximillian, considering that Ozy didn't even use mana for anything, but still kept the mana potion on him should he happen upon some healer and need to get healed up in exchange for one of these potions. Regardless, the time mage could make better use of his mana potion than he could at the moment, considering that they could end up in another fight with a sewer dweller... and it had better not be another sewer gator. Most significantly, Ozymandias was just about ready to say that this mission had been almost entirely an utter waste, as what should have been a simple mission to kill bandits had devolved into a debacle involving sewers and a bloody kraken.

Looking over the time mage and the gunner elf, both of whom looked as annoyed as he was with their current situation, Ozymandias decided that maybe they should just call it quits for now. "It might be best if we just try to find the others and get out, potions or not it will be some time - without any sort of assistance - until all my injuries repair themselves... provided we don't enter combat beyond this point. According to the recent trend of how things are going, we might end up having to fight the kraken, and honestly: no bandits are worth taking on such a beast for absolutely no reason." With this in mind, Ozymandias could sense two groups with signatures familiar to him, and he began to follow the one closer to them at the moment, however this rush to find the others ended up costing Ozymandias. With his significant bulk, and with the rather pitiful state of the sewers, Ozy unknowingly stepped on a worn grate, and found himself plummeting into a tube barely large enough to accommodate him, and soon found himself in another sewer tunnel, farther from the others, but apparently much closer to one single familiar signature. Dazed yet again from hitting his head against the floor, he yelled back up the tunnel, "Alright, if you two can hear me, try to find our group, I can sense a good portion of them nearby your location before... ugh, my fall. I am going to try to find a way to either meet up with you, or to find a way out, either way: you're on your own, so... good luck, I guess." This message was delivered with a hint of concern bleeding into his words for the two, although Ozy knew at times like these, there was no guarantee if they would ever possible meet up again.

All in all, this was just not Ozy's day, and he was seriously getting annoyed with all these hurdles that just sprung in his way, and especially frustrated with being separated from his teammates... again, Ozy was just about ready to call it a day. And this was for good reason: he was in some sh*tty f*cking condition, and that was saying something considering he could normally handle a bit of pain and nausea. With the injury to his shoulder he would be lucky to even swing his sword with anything resembling power, and with the injury to his eye his vision in battle was cut in half and that was dangerous here where it was already dark without the extra issue of his eyesight to add into the equation. So it came as no surprise that Ozymandias was ready to just postpone this entire mission, at least until he could get his injuries treated and his body back to something resembling full health. And with this in mind, Ozymandias decided that he would hold off on his desire to kill the bandits until he was able to actually fight them, even if they were to come along and find him instead. Sure he could fight them as he was now, but that wasn't the challenge he sought in battle against worthless bandits while in being such a sorry state. And Ozy had originally come in here just looking for a good fight, something that would excite him before he could move on to other things, namely: more fights with worthy opponents. Instead, he had been shanghaied into some random adventure that had produced almost nothing for Ozymandias to be considerate about, and he felt this entire situation was nothing more than a waste of his time and talents.

Letting out a sigh, Ozymandias rubbed his head from the bump he had gained from falling, and sighing in that he had managed to hold onto his weapons and items in that fall, Ozy tried to follow the faint signature that felt a bit familiar to him. Fortunately for Ozymandias, he was getting used to the tunnels, and as he was getting closer he could now hear the familiar source of noise that had occupied him earlier, and fortunately he could sense that individual that felt quite familiar, along with a few unknown signatures. Moving towards where he felt those signatures, Ozy finally came upon a portion of the remnants of his group: in the form of the necromancer, along with quite a few new faces, some being quite bizarre. But Ozymandias had traveled ever since he had become who he was, and he had seen - and interacted with - stranger things. Letting out a sigh, Ozy sheathed his shield and sword on his back, partially because he was tired of having to continue wielding them in case of attack, and partially to signify his own lack of hostility in case the others took him for a threat. "Necromancer, good: you seem to be in excellent condition all things considered. Did you happen upon the remainder of our group? I've seen... and been separated from the Time Mage and the Gunner Elf. I figured we could go find that annoying sword wielder and take the map and that stealth gem off of him: I'm just about done with this little trip." Pausing to observe the others, and finding that once again he felt out of place among such a menagerie of individuals, "I also see you've picked up some hitchhikers... by Indra: are sewers some sort of unspoken social hangout? And what is she trying to do?" The last question was directed towards Windy, whose current actions just seemed to befuddle him.

Seraphyn lifted his arm in the air and sniffed. He took a shower about 30 minuted before he came to the bar, he shouldnt smell like anything. Raching for his pouch, he pulled out a little bottle of cologne and dabbed a little on him to rid of any smells that might be assaulting ones nostrils. He wasnt one for being stinky and didnt want others to think so either. Sera walked over to the large group of people and tapped them all on the shoulders. In a very serious and sincere tone he bowed and apologized to the group. "I am truly sorry if I have caused harm, or made wronged anyone. You were not part of the fight and I dragged you all into it. I ask for your forgiveness, on my honor as a monk and on my families honor I again am sorry."

Sera stood upright again reaching for his pouch and pulling out a flask and taking a swig before continuing. "I would like to ask you all to be my guests at the tavern, I would like to buy you all a couple of rounds to apologize and also to become possible friends?" it was a long shot, he had already made a wonderful impression, but as his master taught him always try to make up for your wrong doings.
