The treasure has been taken! No body knows who took it first. For all anyone knows they might have accidentally dropped it off at the Nexus Space Port when they were delivering "acquired goods" from Venus. The point is though, this treasure is valuable. Priceless even! Four crews now scramble across the solar system hunting for clues... as well as... well... pirating!

Come join our four teams as they attempt to find the stolen treasure!



☠ The Venus Corp ☠
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

The luxury planet of Venus was established in 2255 AD. The Venus Corp were once part of the elite forces that guarded the Central Venus Space Terminal. Of course their duties were mainly harassing tourists and swiping loot on the side. Eventually they were caught and given a dishonourable discharge. They're luxurious lifestyle lead the crew to privacy and infamy.

Arrogant, spoiled and in search of the finer things in life, the Venus Corp search the stars for the lost treasure in hopes that they can finally retire.


☠ The Mars Raiders ☠
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

Mars became colonised in 2075 AD. However it took many, many decades to finally establish itself and thus become a recognised ally of Earth. The Martians are the oldest intergalactic civilisation in the inner solar system and take that title with pride. The Mars Raiders, tired of being seen as second class citizens by Earthlings, decided to take matters into their own hands. Now they are a pirate force to be reckoned with!

They're rough, yet loyal to each other. By retrieving the treasure they seek, they plan to bring further glory to Mars, thus proving it to be a mighty and formidable planet.


☠ The Mercury Farmers ☠
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

The extreme heat of Mercury meant that it could never be truly terraformed. Thus, they buried themselves under the crust of the planet, creating a thriving city. The Mercurians are a laid back people, preferring to take things slowly. Despite this, they produce the solar systems best and most sustainable crops. The Mercury Farmers accidentally fell into piracy having lost their prized tomatoes to a swashbuckling crew.

Never one to let a slight slide, the Mercury Farmers search for the ones that stole their hard work. If they find any other treasure they'd probably open a new vegetable patch.


☠ The Europa Brigade ☠
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃

One of the six satellites that circle Jupiter, this tiny little moon is very young and very small. Most Europians are considered to be citizens of the Jupiter Alliance, a tentative political construct that just keeps it alive. The Alliance is very poor due to the distance between satellites.

The Brigade only wishes to feed their families, or even better, move them to a planet where they can finally live in peace.

There was a lead. It was a bit far fetched, but you have to start somewhere. There's a possibility that the treasure is buried in the Mercurian Vault, deep beneath the Central Terminal. Beware the information may change at any moment. Better look fast!

Feeling rather: Hungry

Cassandre blew away a stray strand of hair from her eyes. She poked at the red, ripe tomatoes. God she was hungry. When did she last eat? Stomach grumbling, Cassandre walked away, trying her best to place her rumbling stomach out of her mind. It was hard what with the smell of rich soil and sweet fruits and vegetables surrounding her. The Mercurian farmers sure knew how to put on a good spread.

"Where are they?" Cassandre found a pillar to lean against as she watched patrons wander between stalls. Sure re-entry had been rough but it couldn't have taken that long to find someone to look after the ship. It appeared that there was nothing more to do than just wait. So for a time, she watched the bustle in the warm glow of the Mercurian cavern that was the Mercury Terminal, hoping for a lead to spring upon her.

"No no no! What're you doing!?" The girl continued to yell at the small time mechanic that was finally hired to watch over the ship. While the team was in Mercury, someone would have to make sure the ship stays safe. Following the man's trail, and closing every door, panel or hatch that he previously had opened, the young woman finally caught up with the man, removing a very large crescent wrench from his hands. "And quit touching my stuff!"

The two bickered back and fourth, for several minutes, over how best to fix the ship. The result was that the local would make a list of recommendations, and the young woman would ignore that list and fix her ship however she wanted to. Finally satisfied, the girl left in search of the rest of her crew who had all but abandoned her.

Riika made her way into the Terminal away from the ship docking. It was a bustling hot-spot, like any planet terminal, with people walking around, finding their ships as well as charters to other destinations. Soon, as she molded into the crowd, Rikka struggled against other visitors bumping and pushing their way around her. The team needed better planning. Out in the distance, through the small breaks in the crowd, Riika saw someone that she immediately recognized.

"Cassandre!" Rikka forced herself through the crowd, meeting up with her shipmate. "God, I thought I'd lost you all." Riika gave the woman a once over. She was older, and much better dressed. Given the kind of job Riika preoccupied herself with, it was of no one's fault really that Cassandre was also significantly cleaner most of the time.

Cassandre smelt Riika's presence before she could see her sauntering towards her, dusting her hands on her oil soaked clothing. She was dirty even for Mercurian standards. "You've been hounding that old coot of a mechanic again haven't you?" Cassandre sighed.

"We pay good money for that man to look over our ship and you just go and waste his time! You should be learning from him at least." It was hard to stop herself from scolding the enthusiastic girl. She liked her well enough but one day she was going to get herself into trouble with how well she could put people out. Despite this, Cassandre ruffled her crew member's hair affectionately.

Looking about there was no sign of the other crew members. That worried her as they desperately needed to push on if they were to beat everyone else. "Looks like we might be here a while. I'm friggin starving and those food stalls have tempted me long enough. Come on. It's on me."

As they wandered through the chatter and haggling of the store vendors, looking for a meal, Cassandre asked, "Didn't happen upon any leads did ya?"
