Around noon time. Royals should have been already informed about thier partners by thier parents. When arrived at the castle where they will live for a while, it was decided by the kings and queens that the couples shall share the rooms with one another. There are attendants at this castle but not many. This castle is found near the Earth kingdom in the mountains. There is a small town that surrounds the castle, but not many people live there, mainly farmers and travelers. just below the mountain there is a mountain that is about a 5-10 minute walk that the royals have access to as well as a luxurious garden. Might I remind you this is the Victorian Age RP.

I'm wondering where you are and what you are doing now.
Are you at the other side of this blue sky?

Jenavive was at her vanity desk looking into the mirror with her bright blue eyes. Her eyes showed sadness and slight anger. When she received the new that she was being arranged to marry a prince from another kingdom, she knew that her life was about to change. Whether it is for the worst or better. How can her father just agree to such arrangement? Was this the only way to bring peace? Jenavive wondered about this for several house in her room. Eventually, she came to terms and realized why such thing was to happen. Unfortunately the thought of marring someone that she didn't know and love made her feel uncomfortable. When news came to her all she a quiet for a moment but showed a little delight. Unfortunately it was all an act. Truth be told, she still had someone in her heart and couldn't bear having to give a piece to someone else.

Jenavive's items were packed in a bag. The maids came in and started to assist her in her soon departure. They bathed her, brushed her hair and dressed her. Standing in front of another mirror, she wore a dress that was floor length. It hugged her torso and it flared from the waist down. In some way Jenavive looked quite elegant. Maybe a bit to elegant. "Can't I just wear a more simpler dress?" Jenavive looked for her main maid. " Teresa, I look silly. Can I please wear something simpler?" She nodded and went into the wardrobe closet. When her maid returned, she came back with a white strapless dress. It was an empire cut and flowed all the way to the floor. Soon enough Jenavive was taken out the one dress and put into another. "Much better. Thank you."

The maids then left the room. Jenavive twirled once to test the flow of the dress. It was quite nice and she was happy. Looking in the mirror, she fixed her hair as she usually had it. "He would like this." Jenavive sighed; All she can think about now is her beloved prince from the lightning kingdom. It has been years since she last saw him. She was yearning for his touch, his smile, his scent, his presence. "I wonder what you are doing. I hope you are healthy. I hope you remember." she mumbled as she looked out the window in the Ice kingdom. She sighed and closed her eyes for a moment and then a maid came in. "Miss Jenavive, it is time to go. ." When the maid was about to leave, Jenavive caught her attention. " Ma’am tell her i will leave before her. Go prepare a separate carriage for us." The Maid nodded and left.

Her slim and fragile frame sits erect on the throne, the golden crown that had once been her mothers resting on her brow with a slight tilt forward. A sign it was just a fraction too large for her head. But, that was not the reason for the troubled frown that rested on her lips. Nor was the fact that her bottom was getting sore from sitting on the flat slab that was the seat of the throne. No, the reason for such a look was due to the man on his knees several feet from her, his pleas not falling on deaf ears. Which was precisely the reason for the look she gave him. "Veronika, it would not be wise to show leniency toward one of them. After all, if you do it to one, who's to say others won't demand such leniency." The man at her left bends enough to murmur this lowly to her, though her eyes do not leave the man before her, his head bowed. "Yes, but...I feel pity for him..." "You're doing it again." This comes from a man at her right, his voice sounding as grizzled as his appearance. "You cannot rule with your heart, Milady. Rule with that pretty little head of yours once in a while." He gives the side of her head a light tap. He was one of the men she trusted entirely, however the man on her left had yet to earn that trust from her. "Now, what is your heart and head telling you to do?" She contemplates for a moment, at last taking her eyes from the man and looking up to the adviser on her right. "My heart is telling me to pity him and give him the resources he needs to get himself back on track, but my head...my head is telling me to let him sit in stocks for a day and then let him go back to his home to use his own power to prevent this from happening again."

Closing her eyes, she looks down, kneading the tips of her fingers into her forehead. "Send this man to the stocks. But tomorrow when he is released, send him on his way with some resources." The guard at his side nods, bowing from the waist down before grabbing the mans arm and pulling him up, leading him away. Once the two disappear from the throne room, she slumps in the throne, though wincing as the stiff back digs into her shoulder blades. Sitting back up with a low and unladylike grumble, she stretches her arms up, grunting slightly as her back gives a satisfying pop. "I'm done for the day. I don't know how father did this every day." Standing slowly, she winces as her whole body felt stiff from sitting on the hard and uncomfortable throne all day. Settling her hands to her low back, she leans back as far as she can before slowly making her way from the grand hall flanked by the two men who had been standing at her sides nearly all day. As she exits the hall, she is stopped by a maid who bows from the waist addressing her. All of the preparations were complete for her to leave for the castle to meet her fiancee'. Acknowledging such a thing, she halts, turning to face the two men still flanking her. "I trust you will prove yourselves more than capable of overseeing things in my absence." "Of course, my queen." The other man simply nods his agreement, giving her a slight bow as he does so.

Veronika knew it would be a lie if she said she wasn't tense about leaving her nation in the hands of these two. Yes, they were both quite capable, she knew that, but the two had such different opinions on everything that she feared there would be more fighting going on than actual overseeing of the nations affairs. At that thought, she smirks a bit, looking to them both. "And please, try to not kill each other while I am away." With that, she gives them a dip of her head and a small wave of her hand, her way of dismissing them from her presence. Making her way to her quarters, a maid assists her in slipping from her dress and into clothes more durable and sturdy for travel, however the attire was still regal, showing her obvious wealth and position still. With that, she goes to the carriage, plastering a smile to her face as she passes others, but keeping her lips sealed. If she spoke, she was afraid this whole facade would fall apart at the seams and her worry, fears, and anxiety would be revealed. However, as soon as her frame settles in the carriage, she allows the smile to fall, slumping on the seat, and putting a hand to her forehead. What if this marriage didn't work out? What if she allowed her hate to get the better of her and she reignited the war with foolish actions or words? So many what ifs and not enough answers for them. Just thinking about it gave her a headache.

She shoots erect and plasters a smile as the carriage door suddenly opens, a maid entering after dipping her head. Once the door closes, Veronika releases a pent up breath, slumping a bit again with a smirk. The maid only smiles at her knowingly. She was one of the few people Veronika trusted enough to not show this sort of facade. Not bothering to speak at all, she simply lolls her head against the curtained window of the carriage, allowing herself to drift into sleep. That didn't seem to last long as soon enough, she was being jostled gently awake by her maid informing her that they were approaching the castle. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, she just barely cracks the curtain as the approach the large front entrance of the castle, the carriage coming to a halt. After a moment, the door is being held for her while she is being helped from the carriage by one of her knights before she strides confidently into the castle, flanked by the same knight who had helped her from the carriage, as well as another knight. Being that she was the only monarch alive for her nation, she had made sure to take extra precautions for this visit. Veronika wanted to have faith the other nations wouldn't try anything, but she had witnessed far too much greed to truly have such a faith in them. A maid is sent to escort her to her room while the carriage driver and her maid organize her things to be sent up to her. As she enters the room she would be sharing with her fiancee', she dips her head to her knights who position themselves, one on either side of the door, blades drawn, tips pointed to the ground with both hands resting on the pommel. Should anything happen, they were more than ready to fight for their queen.

The first thing she does is take a seat on the edge of the bed before flopping onto it on her back. Curling on her side, she brings one of the plush pillows under her head, closing her eyes again and trying to quell her worries and fears as she drifts off again. She wanted to be well rested before meeting the others.

Aurora stood on the balcony over looking the Kingdom of Air with a soft smile on her face. Aurora turned around when she heard a light tap on her door and turned around to see one of her maids. She smiled and walked over to her, “Good evening Lily what are you doing up here so early?” The maid looked up at her with a soft grin playing at her lips. “My lady it is time for you to get ready for departure, I’ve brought up the dress that you asked for.” Aurora smiled happily as she turned to walk towards the bathroom, “Thank you Lily I really appreciate it I will be back soon just I’ve me a moment.” Aurora walked into the bathroom washing her hair with her favorite strawberry shampoo. When she was done Aurora came out in her under slip on her hair in a towel. Aurora stood in front of a large long length mirror as Lily helped her put on her dress. “Lily its beautiful thank you for going to get it for me could you help me with my hair as well if you don’t mind?” Aurora sat down in front of her vanity as she awaited the answer from her maid. Lily simply laughed “Of course my lady what sort of maid would I be if I didn’t help you with your hair.” Aurora laughed while lily brushed out her hair. Lily always had a way of making her laugh no matter the situation. While Lily was finishing up her hair by putting some lavender colored flowers in her hair aurora was putting a little color to her lips. When she was all finished Aurora looked at herself in the mirror with a smile. The color of the dress complimented her light hair very well. Aurora turned around giving lily a hug, “I’m going to miss you while I’m gone lily you’ve been such a good friend to me please take care of yourself.” Lily patted Auroras back gently as she started to shed a tear, “Same to you my lady take care you will be a lovely bride.” Wiping a tear of her own from her eyes Aurora smiled and waved a small goodbye as she walked down the stairs and to her carriage. Aurora looked around seeing that her brother still hadn’t arrived yet. With a sighed she turned to one of the couch man, “Could you please make sure another carriage come and picks my brother? I love him to pieced but if he insists on being late he should take his own carriage.” The coachman nodded and helped her up into the carriage. Once she was settled he handed her a small envelope, “Thank you kindly lets be off now shall we?” He nodded closing the door tightly and making his back to the front of the carriage. Aurora opened the envelope and read it out loud, “Dear Lady Aurora this letter is to inform you of the name of your soon to be husband. You are to be wed to Sir Dante the heir to the throne of the Lightning Kingdom.” Aurora sat there stunned for a moment as she re-read the letter multiple times to make sure she understood it correctly. One the shock wore off a bit Aurora sat the letter in her lap a small blush coloring her cheeks. “Its him… I’m going to be married to Dante…Oh I hope I can make a good impression on him.” Aurora leaned her head back her thought full of him the whole ride to her new home.

It was finally here. The day had finally arrived in which Dante was going to be forced to marry someone that not only did he not know, but he did not like. To make matters worse, it was all his parents idea too, and there wasn’t really too much that he was able to do about it either, no matter how much he wanted to. He couldn’t really believe how it had managed to come to this. Dante didn’t really know just what had made his parents agree with the kings and queens of the other elemental kingdoms that it was alright for them to marry off their children. It wasn’t something that he was happy about. He wasn’t happy about it at all, and he just couldn’t understand why this seemed to be the only way in which the war could be resolved. Sure, he knew that the war had been going on for a long time, but in his mind, he was sure that there was some other way in which peace could be obtained. There had to be some way other than this, that was for sure. He just didn’t like the idea of marrying someone that he didn’t know, and it was a forced marriage at that, so it wasn’t as if there were going to be any feelings between them. Well, Dante could think of one feeling that they would probably both have for each other, and it sure as hell wasn’t going to be love. He could imagine that they were both going to hate each other’s guts. As he thought about this, he remembered being told that it was going to be the Air princess that he was going to be paired with. This didn’t really make Dante feel any better, because he was unable to forget a time in which him and his men had been attacked by a large member of men from the Air kingdom. He knew that it was pointless to marry him off to the Air princess, or any other princess for that matter, because he knew that he was never going to love any of them. He would never be able to give any of them his heart, because he had already given his heart to someone else. He had given his heart away a long time ago, and he didn’t feel as if he could give any more of it to anyone else. Not now and not ever.

Dante was sat in his room, on the edge of his bed and he had his hands in his lap, looking down to the ground and sighing to himself. This has to be the worst possible day of my life. I have to meet the person I am going to have to spend the rest of my life with, and it’s not even the right person for me. How selfish can my parents be? Did they not think how I might feel about this? He sighed to himself as he shook his head. Shortly afterwards, he got to his feet and walked over towards his window. He knew that he was still going to have to get dressed, but at the same time, he wasn’t too worried as he had reluctantly already had what he was going to wear picked out for him. All he really had to do now was put it on. When he reached his window, he sighed to himself once more as he leaned against the window, looking out of it and staring off into the distance. ”Oh my love, I hope and pray that you are well. I wonder where you might be on this day my love.” He whispered to himself as he gazed out of the window longingly. ”It is a shame you are caught up in all of this mess my love, but I wonder who you are being forced to marry? I can only wish that it was me, and then we would be together just as we had always wanted, just like I still want. You are the only one for me. You will always be the only one for me, but my love, I hope you still remember me....wherever you might be. Please....don’t ever forget me.” He whispered once again as he slowly rested his forehead against his window, placing a hand on the window and closing his eyes in the process. He hated this, he hated all of this, but there was nothing that he could do about it.

The door to his room opened a few minutes later, and one of Dante’s butler’s entered the room. He soon saw Dante over by the window and noticed he had yet to get dressed into what had been chosen for him. Because he seemed to be so lost in his own thoughts, Dante hadn’t really heard the door open, or if he had, he hadn’t paid any attention to it. It was his longest serving butler who had come in. ”Dante, it is time for you to get ready. You need to be leaving soon.” The butler said, speaking in a soft, yet somewhat serious tone. Slowly, Dante turned back around with a sad look on his face and he nodded his head. ”Yes....you’re right....as always Gerry.” He almost whispered. Gerry then walked on over to the suit that had been picked out for Dante, and he picked it up and walked over to Dante who was still stood over by the window. He handed Dante the suit when he reached him. It was a black and blue suit and not the sort of thing that Dante would have worn by choice. He looked to the suit Gerry was holding in his hand, and then he shook his head. ”Oh no, I can’t wear that. Not now I look at it.” He stated. ”Gerry, you know me. See if you can find me something that might suit me better.” He spoke in a somewhat dejected tone. A moment or so later, Gerry took a step back. ”I will sir.” He turned around with the suit in hand and walked on over to the closet that Dante had in his room. Pulling it open, he searched through it before pulling out something he was sure Dante would have preferred a little more. With the new suit in hand, he turned back around and walked back over to him, showing him the suit as he walked. Without saying anything, Dante simply nodded his head and took the suit from his longest serving butler. He then walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind him and he proceeded to get changed into the suit that Gerry had picked out for him. It was a suit that was all white, and much better in Dante’s opinion. As soon as he was dressed, he tidied up his hair, brushing it out of his eyes and he walked out of his bathroom to see Gerry looking at him with a small smile. Ah, much better sir. I do wonder what your parents were thinking by picking out that suit for you. You do look much better in that suit.” He smiled a little bit, keeping his hands clasped behind his back. This did cause Dante to smile just a little bit. Not a lot, but a little bit. ”Thanks Gerry.” Dante lightly scratched the top of his head for a moment, looking down towards the ground before his attention turned back to Gerry once more. ”I guess it’s time we get going then. Umm, could you get a carriage to pull up outside for me. I don’t know whether my sister is ready or not, so you may need to get a carriage for her too.” He gently patted Gerry on his shoulder before turning to sit back down on his bed. Gerry simply smiled and bowed his head once more. ”Of course I can Dante.” With that said, he walked from turned and walked from the room. Dante leaned back on his bed slightly, tilting his head back and looking up at the ceiling as he let out one big sigh. Even though Dante knew he wasn’t looking forward to this, and even though he knew that he didn’t want to get married to the Air princess, he thought he would have to at least make the effort with her, even if it was something he didn’t want to do. It was something he felt as if he had to do as he knew he would probably never be able to be with the Ice princess; his one true love ever again.

After several hours of traveling, her carriage finally came to a stop. She peered outside the window and infront of her was a castle that was so old and it almost looked as if it were abandoned and recently took over again. A servant then opened the door and held out his hand. "Miss." he said. "This is where you would be saying. From what I hear you are probably one of the first to arrive. Come I shall escort you inside." Jenavive took his hand and was escorted inside. Her bags were then carried in and brought to her room.

When Jenavive walked in, she was in awe. She couldn't belive how beautiful the inside was considering that the outside looked a bit of a mess. "This is the foyer, may I show you to your room?" She nodded. Up the stais they went and into the long hall way. When they finally got to the room, her bags were sitting near the closet. Her first thoughts of the room was that is was big so it was spacious to put some sculptures up. Unfortunatly the room didn't fit her presonality, it was so high and mighty looking with its reds and gold. The bed was huge and there was even a fireplace. "This is just too much and old looking. Looks like I'll just have to spice it up a bit later. Rearrange things here and there," Jenavive then looked at the servant and thanked him. He left ther room and she was left there sitting on her be.

A moment later, the serveant came right back forgot to tell her something. "I'm sorry but I forgot to tell you. It was noted that you will be sharing your room with your fiance." When he left, she kind of knew that was comming. What was to be expected, her parents did tell her she would have to get to know her betrothed in some way. Jenavive sighed and decided to stoll around the castle.

It had been a really long ride to the new house be she enjoyed seeing the country side. Her parents never let her venture far from their kingdom so it was a nice change. Aurora carriage pulled up to the new house and she looked at it and smiled. “Oh my its so large and its beautiful.” The door to her carriage opened the coachman offering her his hand as she stepped down. She looked around and smiled happily as the wind blew through her long hair. The man came up beside her holding her bag, “Ill take you up to your room miss.” Aurora turned and grabbed the rest of her bag so he wouldn’t have to do everything himself. “Thanks so much for escorting me to my room I appreciate it.” She walked inside and looked at the room in awe it was so gorgeous inside she couldn’t believe it. She quickly snapped out of it and hurried up the stairs after her escort. They came up to a dark oak door and the man opened up the door ushering inside. She walked inside and looked around. The room was so large and beautiful but it was a little to dark decorated with dark reds and blacks. ’Look like ill have to lighten it up a bit in here first lets get some sunlight in here.’ Aurora walked over to the curtains and opened them up wide letting the sun shine through. “That’s better some sunlight brightens the broom right up." Aurora turned around and looked at the man who brought up her rooms. “Thank you so much for bringing my things up but may I asked why did they give me such a large room? It seems much larger then one person would need.” The coachman turned and looked at her and started laughing. “Did no one tell you miss? You will be sharing the shame room with your new husband that’s why the room are so large.” Aurora stood there stunned as she looked at him, “Oh I um thank you for informing me. Thank you again for your assistance.” The man bowed and excused himself from her room. Aurora sat down on the bed her face red and her mind a little flustered. “I have to share a room with him? My parents didn’t inform me of anything how on earth am I going to share a room with him wwhen im so shy and can barely talk to him.” Aurora sided softly and walked over to the balcony that was in her room. She smiled against the wind as it blew into her face. The view was beautiful and the best part it was facing the front of the castle so she could watch as the carriages arrived.

Love can touch us one timexxxxxxxx
{ } xxxx and last for a lifetime

Princess Constance Sigfinn stared at her reflection in the mirror as her maid fixed Constance’s hair. Constance wanted to leave it alone, but her mother insisted on making sure that Constance looked beautiful for her fiancé, The youngest twin prince of the Fire Kingdom. “Oh, you look absolutely stunning!” Her mother exclaimed happily, “If this doesn’t make him fall in love with you I don’t know what will.” Constance wanted to laugh at her mother’s remark, but she couldn’t so she gave her mother a small smile. She didn’t want to get married at least not to her fiance. Her heart already belonged to someone else… She closed her eyes and tried not to let her true emotions show in front of her mother as her thoughts drifted back to Dayus, her one true love…

Princess Constance turned around to look at her mother and smiled, “You’re so grown up” her mother said as she walked up to Constance. She placed her hand on her daughter’s cheek and gave her a sad smile, “Going off to get married and start a life with someone new. I do hope that you will come to love him someday…” Her mother’s words trailed off and she looked at the ground. It almost seemed as if her mother didn’t want Constance to marry someone she’s never met before let alone loved. That almost made Constance ask her mother why she agreed to the marriage in the first place, but she kept her thoughts to herself. “It will be okay mum,” Constance said as she hugged her, “Oh” her mother gave Constance a tight hug and pulled away. “Yes, it will be okay won’t it” Constance smiled and nodded her head. It would all be okay it had to be.

A half hour later Princess Constance knocked on her brother’s door and opened it to see him sitting on his bead looking at the ceiling. He almost looked as heartbroken as she was. For a moment, she considered telling him that she felt the same way that she didn’t want to get married, that she was in love with someone else. Maybe then, they could help each other in some way and she wouldn’t feel so alone in this whole fiasco. She opened her mouth ready to tell him, but then closed it and sighed. She couldn’t tell him about her feelings, she was the selfless sister who would do anything for her family and people even if it meant marrying a stranger. To tell her brother how she really felt would seem strange.

Princess Constance walked over to Dante and stopped at his bedside, “You ready to go?” She asked looking at him; just then, Gerry walked in and bowed at the two royals. “You carriage is ready sir” he straightened his back and looked at Constance, “Will you be riding with your brother, milady?” Constance looked at Gerry and nodded her head, “Yes, I think I will” she looked back at her brother, “If you don’t mind that is.” Honestly, Constance didn’t want to take that carriage ride alone this way if she rode with her brother her thoughts wouldn’t drift to unwanted memories.

Even though Dante didn’t really want to get married to someone he didn’t know, let alone like, he knew that it was something that he was going to have to do whether he wanted to or not. It was one of the many things that was going through his mind. He only wished that there was something else that they could do to bring peace to all of the kingdoms. Anything other than having to get married to someone he didn’t know. On top of that, Dante knew that he was probably never really going to love the Aurora, the Air princess. Not when his heart already belonged to the Ice princess. He wasn’t even sure if he would be able to allow himself to try to learn to love his fiancé. It wasn’t something he had thought about, but it was something he knew he was going to have to put some thought into. However, the main thing on his mind was of course, his one true love, Jenavive. He wasn’t really sure just who she was getting married to though, but that was mainly because he hadn’t taken the time to find out. Dante felt as if his head was about to explode when Constance, his sister pushed open his door and walked into his room. As he heard his door being pushed open, he looked over towards his door and managed a small smile when he saw Constance walk in and ask him if he was ready to go. Dante didn’t do anything for a moment, but then he did nod his head just as Gerry also walked in. He didn’t really bother to say anything as Gerry had asked his sister if she would be travelling with him or not. Dante honestly didn’t mind if she did really, even though he did tell Gerry to prepare another carriage for her just in case she was still getting ready after he had left. When she had asked him if it was okay to travel with him, he looked up at her, smiling a little bit and he nodded his head once more. ”It will be just fine if you travel with me Constance. I was going to get Gerry to prepare you a carriage just in case you weren’t ready when I had to leave anyway. Since you are ready though, there is no reason as to why we can’t travel together. We have to go to the same place after all.” He paused briefly as he stood to his feet, and then he turned towards his sister and sighed a little bit. ”Not that I really want to go, and I can guess you don’t either. Unfortunately for us, we don’t have too much of a choice.” He shrugged his shoulders slightly before he took a deep breath, and he ran his fingers through his light blue hair before letting his hands fall to his sides. After doing so, he focused on Constance again. ”I guess we better make a move. After all, we don’t want to be too late now, do we?” His lips turned into a small grin as his eyes met with the eyes of his sister. Dante felt as if he was always able to be himself around his sister. Despite the fact war had been raging between the elemental kingdoms for years, he was still able to joke and laugh with his sister. It was just the way they had both always been. Besides, he knew that she felt exactly the same way he did about these marriages. He knew that she hated the idea just as much as he did. ”Okay, let’s get this over with. You look beautiful by the way Constance. Anyone would be lucky to have you. It’s just a shame you can’t choose who that person is. Still, if things don’t go well between you and your husband to be, you can always just shock them into oblivion.” There was a small grin on his face as he had said this. The funny thing about it was that he was being serious too. He was just trying to make a small joke out of it.

Love can touch us one timexxxxxxxx
{ } xxxx and last for a lifetime

Princess Constance Sigfinn laughed at her brother’s remark about her fiancé and shook her head, “Oh, but if I were to shock him into oblivion I would be liable to start another war” and that was something no one wanted. She linked her arm with her brother’s arm and started walking towards the door, “Besides, I’m sure our fiancés won’t mind if we are a little late,” she said as they made their way down the stairs and towards the foyer, “I bet they don't want to go through with this arranged marriage either.” Constance really couldn’t care less how late they would be, just so long as she could delay that meeting…

Soon the brother and sister were walking out the front door and towards the carriage that awaited them. Once Princess Constance’s eyes fell on the carriage, her heart started to beat faster and she had a sick feeling in her stomach. What only took a few seconds for them to walk to the carriage seemed like an eternity to Constance. She finally allowed herself to grasp the full reality of what she was about to go through and she didn’t like it. “I don’t want this!” Her heart screamed at her, but her mind kept saying that it was for the best. “But I don’t want it” she thought to herself; then she let all the ‘what ifs’ come to light in her mind. “What if he doesn’t like me? What if it doesn’t work out or what if he was in love with another woman? What if?” All these questions and more ran through her mind as she stared at the carriage waiting to take her to her fiancé. She was so scared of what could happen that she almost turned around and ran back into the castle.

However, Princess Constance sucked in her breath and turned around to face her parents. She gave them both a hug and tried to settle her nerves, “Goodbye, I’ll make sure to visit as often as I can” as much as she didn’t want to go through with this she really didn’t have a choice so she entered the carriage and sat down. Her parents said their goodbyes and once Dante was settled in the seat across from her, the carriage sped off towards the Earth Kingdom. Constance stared out her window at her home until it couldn’t be seen anymore, then she leaned against the leather seat and looked at her brother. She smiled at him trying not to let her emotions show and started fiddling with a strand of her hair. In a few hours time she would finally meet her fiancé and although it was for the best, she didn’t want to meet him.

Hours later Princess Constance was waking up from a dreamless sleep as the carriage slowed to a stop. She rubbed the sleepiness out of her eyes as a servant opened the carriage door and offered her his hand. Constance stepped out of the carriage and gazed upon the castle that was to be her new home for a while. It was quite beautiful to behold and she found that she couldn’t wait to explore the place and learn its secrets. “This way, milady” Constance looked over to the servant who helped her out and followed him into the castle, it was truly a magnificent place.

The servant brought Princess Constance to her room and set her things on her bed, "Thank you” she said as she looked around her room; it was quite large for just one person. Was someone else staying with her? “Will someone else be staying with me?” She asked the servant before he left, “Yes, your fiancé will be staying with you, milady” With that the servant left and Constance was alone. Her fiancé would be sleeping in the same room with her? She wandered over to her bed and sat down as she absorbed the news; well that was something her parents didn’t tell her. She looked around for a second bed, but it seemed there was only one in the room, she would have to fix that before her fiancé arrived.

Princess Constance walked out of her room and saw a servant coming out of one of the other rooms, “Excuse me” the servant looked at Constance and bowed respectively, “Has my fiance arrived yet?” “No, milady” “Very good, would you please put another bed in my room?” The servant replied that he would and bowed before he left her. Suddenly, Constance was alone again and she began to wander if Dayus had arrived yet… She looked down the corridor as an overwhelming feeling to go find him came over her. “No!” She couldn’t go see him, what would she say to him? Would he even recognize her after so long? She quelled the rising feeling of fear in her heart and started walking through the hallways. Eventually, she would see Dayus and she would tell him everything, but for now she was just going to explore the castle and hope that neither Dayus nor her fiance were here. She didn’t want to face them just yet…

Are you at the other side of this blue sky?

After touring herself around most of the castle, Jenavive made it back to her room. She peered in and saw that her dear prince has not arrived yet. In a way she was relieved. She hadn't had a clue of how to react when she would first meet her fiancé'. Personally, she would of been rude and tried to cut their engagement. However if she did, her father would of been furious.

Jenavive went down to the foyer and sat in one the chairs. When she sat, she positioned herself in a way that she thought no one would see her. She closed her eyes and hoped that the day would have gone faster. Here and there the servants and maids would pass by and ask if she needed anything but she would just shake her head. Boredom over came her and she wished she had met somebody. Anybody. Loneness was feeling at the moment. Thinking in her head she tried to remember her beloved prince Dante. She remembered his hair and how she would run her fingers through it and mess with up. She also remembered the way he would hold her in his arms before she would have returned back to her room. Oh how she missed that feeling. It has been a while since she last saw him. Year’s maybe. 'I hope he hasn't changed.' Jenavive prayed that he was still safe and that he was happy where ever he was. 'If only I could see you one last time before I get married, I would be happy.' Unfortunately, her father failed to mention that all the kingdoms royalties were coming there. So she hadn’t have a clue of the prince of the lightning kingdom would be there.

User ImageSerenity stared out her window from her bedroom, as the sun rose from the water. She watched the sunrise flash a gorgeous mixture of reds, oranges, and yellows as it steadily rose up into the blue sky. It looked liked it would be a beautiful day, not like she was going to be there to enjoy it though. Today was the day. The day she would meet her fiance, a man she already didn't trust. She hadn't trusted another man, since that night. But she promised her father, she would try. So try she must, for her father, and for her kingdom's sake.

Serenity gave one last glance at the rising sun, before she got off the window's ledge and walked across her room into her personal bathroom. There she looked into her large mirror and looked at her sleep derived face. Her eyes looked sunken in and she had dark circles under her eyes. But that was nothing that make up couldn't fix. She sighed to herself and splashed some water on her face. She stripped her clothes off, and took a quick bathe, washing her hair as well. Once she was done she came out, with a towel in her hair to let it dry. She walked back into her room and dried herself up as she walked over to her large mirror. She turned around and dropped her towel to look at her scarred back. She grimly looked over her shoulder as she watched her marred torn skin, healed together in awkward disgusting ways. She could see the burn marks in various places, scarring her skin. She shuddered with disgust and quickly grabbed a very simple white under dress and put it on, hiding most of her skins from her vision.

A knock at her bedroom door made her turn around, as her lady-in-waiting opened the door and peeked in.
"Ah, so you are awake princess, as always." She said, as she swung opened the door and walked into Serenity's bedroom, with a beautiful blue dress in hand. She placed the dress on her bed before going over to Serenity. Cecelia sat her in front of the mirror, on a red plush chair as she took out the towel from her hair and started to comb through it. "Cecelia I told you not to call me that when were alone. We been friends for so many years now, so please just call me Serenity." Serenity asked her friend in a sweet voice. She looked at herself in the mirror and watched as her friend styled her hair. Cecelia chuckled a bit as she fixed her long silver locks into two tight ponytails. "Sorry Princ--Serenity. It's just habit. Now here's the finishing touch." She said and pulled out a pretty light blue lily and placed it in one of her ponytails, and fixed it. She then came in front of Serenity and fixed her bangs to frame her pale face. "Now for a touch of powder, to cover those bags under your eyes, and then were done!" Cecelia exclaimed happily.

Serenity smiled up at her friend. Cecelia was her closest friend in her kingdom, the only friend that stuck with her through all her hardships. Cecelia had seen her at her lowest point in life, at least the lowest she has become so far. Who knew how much this arranged marriage might torment her mind. She hasn't been able to fully trust another man, and the only men she can trust right now, is her personal guard and her own father. Otherwise, she refused to open her heart again to another. But right now, she threw those thoughts away from her mind and only continued to smile up at her friend. She was definitely going to miss Cecelia.

Once Cecelia finished with her make up and moved out of the way, Serenity stared at herself in the mirror. Her lady-in-waiting, had done a wonderful job like always. In the mirror was a stunning, smiling girl with a refreshed face that looked like she slept every night.
"I look wonderful, thank you Cecelia. I wish you could come with me." Serenity told her as she stood up from her chair. She pulled off the white under dress and let Cecelia help her into her new blue dress. Once it was on she looked at herself once again in the mirror, and looked at the beautiful girl in blue looking back at her. While she stared at herself in the mirror, Cecelia came and put powder on the few scars that were poking out from beneath her dress. Once she finished she stepped away from Serenity and held a smile on her face. "It's gorgeous, I love it." Serenity said with a smile and turned to face her friend. Cecelia smiled back at her. "I will miss you Serenity. Now don't worry, with your looks, he will love you for sure! I know your scared Serenity, but it going to be alright. Your a strong girl, you can do it." Cecelia told her confidently and then suddenly reached out and hugged her tight. Serenity nodded her head and hugged her friend back. They stayed like that for a few moments before Cecelia pulled away and gave a little curtsy. "Now I will go get your carriage ready. I will see you soon Serenity." Cecelia said and gave her another hug before walking out of her room. Serenity watched her go and sighed.

Before she had a change to herself though, another knock was heard on her door, as her father, the King came into her room. Serenity smiled at her chubby little father, as he made his way towards his daughter.
"Look at you! Cecelia can definitely work magic, you look stunning!" He exclaimed and walked over to her, and hugged her. He let go and pulled out a letter from his pocket and gave it to her. "That will tell you who your husband to be will be. Now Serenity...I know you---" "Father it's okay. It's for the kingdom so it's okay" Serenity offered him softly, when she cut him off. She knew her father didn't want her to go, but she had to. It was for the kingdom, and it was to end the war. So she would take any opportunity that she could take. He nodded grimly and sighed. Serenity held his hand with one hand and held the letter in another. She walked them out of her room and down the corridors to the front of the castle where her carriage awaited for her. She gave his hand one more tight squeeze before she let go and hugged him goodbye. She hugged Cecelia once more and bid them both farewell as she climbed into her carriage. The driver shut the door and off they went to her temporary home.

Inside the carriage she opened the letter and read the contents, stating that she will be marrying the Eldest Prince of the Fire Kingdom. She lifted her head and looked out her window as she wondered what he could be like. She had never met another royal before, not even the allies they had. She had always been within the Water Kingdom and never left it. So this was a rather big adventure for her. Serenity didn't sleep on the long journey as the carriage took her to the large castle in the Earth Kingdom. Serenity admired the castle as the carriage came to a stop. An attendant opened her carriage door and held a hand for her to take. She took his hand and let the attendant lead her to her new room, as she knew other attendants would bring in her luggage.

Once in the room she looked around at the rather large size of it. She looked at the large window on one of the walls, and smiled when she saw the small window bed, which she could use for her sleepless nights to watch the moon. She looked over and noticed the one very large bed, much to big for one person, and then grew curious. She turned to the attendant.
"Why is the room so big?" She asked him, as curiosity was upon her. The attendant held the door handle and bowed. "You and your fiance will be sharing a room together, that is how it will be." He stated and with that, shut her door. Serenity stood there, shocked at this. She took a seat on the window bed and stared at the floor in disbelief, the smile wiped from her face. How was she going to survive this?

Love can touch us one timexxxxxxxx
{ } xxxx and last for a lifetime

Princess Constance Sigfinn busied herself by exploring the castle and talking with the servants every now and again. Eventually she found that she made her way back to her room and was now standing in front of the door just staring at it. She was almost afraid to see her fiancé in there when she opened the door. She sucked in a deep breath, grabbed the handle, and opened the door slowly… Constance peered inside and saw no one in the room except for her reflection in the mirror on the far side of the room. “Thank goodness” she thought happily. At least she didn’t have to meet him just yet.

Princess Constance closed the door behind her and looked around, all that changed was that there was a second bed next to hers. “Good” she said aloud as she started unpacking her things. She may have been engaged but she wasn’t married yet and she liked her privacy. After she was done putting all her things in her wardrobe, she picked out a simple gray dress and walked into the bathroom. She couldn’t take walking around in the elegant dress her mother had made for her, she loved it, but it was a tad much for her tastes. She slipped on the gray dress and pulled out the pointy pins that were keeping her up. She fixed her hair a bit then looked at her reflection in the mirror, she almost looked the same as she did when she was pretending to be a maid in the Dark Kingdom. She shook her head trying to suppress the memories and walked out of the bathroom to place her dress in the wardrobe. Since she was still alone she was going to go find out if any of the other royals had arrived.

Princess Constance soon found herself back in the foyer admiring the paintings that were placed upon the wall. She recognized the faces as great generals who served the Earth Kingdom centuries before. Her history teacher made sure she knew all she could know about every kingdom. She sighed quietly and turned to see a young woman sitting down in the corner. At first, Constance thought that the woman might be a servant, but then she realized that her garb was much too extravagant for that of a servant or a noble. Perhaps she was a princess form another kingdom?

Suddenly Princess Constance felt a tug at her dress and looked down to see a little girl staring up at her, “Hello”. The little girl smiled and clasped her hands behind her back, “Hi, you’re tall” she said as she began to rock back and forth on her feet, Constance almost laughed and shook her head, “Yes, I am very tall” then she thought that the little girl could help her. “Do you know if Queen Veronika Saldis has arrived yet?” The little girl nodded her head and stood straight, “Would you go tell her Princess Constance wishes to speak with her?” “Yes m’am” Constance smiled at the little girl and asked her one more question, “Do you know who that woman over there is?” The little girl turned to look at the woman sitting in the corner and turned back to Constance, “its Princess Jenavive Thoran of the Ice Kingdom” Constance’s eyes widened and she looked back at the princess. So that was the woman who stole her brother’s heart.

Princess Constance looked back at the little girl and ushered her along, “Don’t forget to tell Queen Veronika I wish to speak with her” “Yes m’am” with that the little girl skipped away humming a quiet tune. Constance looked back at Princess Jenavive and pondered on whether or not she should go say hello. She always wanted to meet princess Jenavive and she would have to eventually, why not now? With that, Constance walked over to Jenavive and held out her hand, “Hello Princess Jenavive” she started, “I am Princess Constance Sigfinn of the Lightning Kingdom.” She put a small smile on her face and waited for the princess to shake her hand.

Minutes passed and Jenavive was on the chair slowly falling asleep. Though she was quite dazy. She was still able to somewhat see what was around her. She tried seeing if any of the other royals have arrived at the castle and saw about two or three of them arrieved. In her mind she wondered if she should greet them. In a way she was a bit nervous since she never met any of them before but she was going to eventually meet them.

After a few, Jenavive was still in her chair with her eyes closed. She then felt a presence amoung her. She opened one of her eyes and saw that there was a hand infront of her."Hmm.." Jenavive opened both her eyes and saw that it was a girl with blue eyes and blueish hair. "Hello" She said as she got up and shook Constance hand. "Its very nice to meet you." For a moment Jenavive stared into Constance eyes. It seemed quite familiar. As if she seen them before. And then it hit her, it looked like those of Dante, her lover. She must of been his sister. After all she was a princess of the lightning kingdom. "Siblings. Do you have any? Are they here?" she pondered with a shocked expression.
