xxＴｈｅ Ｓｔｏｒｙ

Over five hundred years ago, a devastating war erupted on earth between the angels and demons - killing of entire human populations and leaving three of the five great kingdoms in shambles. The humans went into hiding... trying to avoid the war. They had been peaceful creatures… why did they deserve this? They had always been led to believe that these pure winged angels were their saviors - but they were far from it. As the portals, a mile long in length and diameter, opened up upon two different sides of their home.. It was at this moment, humans soon began to realize that this religion of theirs had been a sham and these creatures were from another world. They had been manipulating them from the beginning and now the humans were all going to die because they were caught in the middle. These humans were simple and peaceful folk.. of course they had the occasional issues with one another. Murderers and thief's will always exist. However for the two hundred years before the great war, they had been living peacefully with one anthers kingdom.. never having any wars of their own. They learnt that they needed one another.. now three kingdoms were burnt to the ground and the other two were lucky that they were so built up and tucked away that they didn't come into much contact with any of these monsters.

The war of the gods lasted for five years and a hundred and sixty-one days. Their world was in ruins, and yet two kingdoms stood tall. They took in the lost and homeless and helped one another. However, to their shock- the story was no where near over even as one of the portals had been destroyed.. it was the angels gateway. Any of them left over had lost their abilities.. they had become like flies. Now all that was left was the demons. The monsters they had been taught to fear all their lives. But, to the humans relief.. the demons portal eventually shrunk until only two unbreakable pillars remained in their place. Of course they tried to break them, knock them down but it was impossible. The gateway would remain there. Eventually the humans just assumed it was over.. they could start rebuilding their lives.

It wasn't until a disciple of lucifer made his way to the north kingdom and requested a meeting with the king . People gathered to watch him as he walked through the streets.. The king did not hold back, and order his guards to eliminate the demon on sight.. It only took a few minutes too kill all of his guards and stun every human. He entered the castle, doing the same once again. And A blood soaked king sat stunned as the demon explained to him the terms of Lucifer's treaty. This demon was the top disciple, with an appearance like an angels but his wings as black as tar.. and those eyes piercing he stood before the king and withdrew a sealed envelope. The remains of the human world now belonged to Lucifer, the demon king of hell. It was the demons who drove the celestial scourge back into their realm and so the mortal plane resided under the protection of Lucifer and his demons. But that protection did not come without a price.

Underneath the cruelly beautiful deceiving exterior of the demon race a panic was starting to emerge. The class of demons and followers closet to the Demon King had not emerged from the war unscathed. It was the angels last retaliation, a curse that would take away Lucifer and his commander's abilities to continue on their bloodlines. Never again would they be able to procreate between each other, demon upon demon. No more would offspring be created and brought into the world with even more power than their parents. Demons lived a very long time, but so did the angels and they were very patient creatures. They would wait until Lucifer and his group of high borns grew old, and unable to fight back, and then they would have their revenge.

However there was a way around this, something the angels didn't consider: the human race. It had been going on for centuries, the breeding between demon and mortals, the offspring a halfbreed. It was now time for the highborns to partake in this otherwise forbidden fruit, but they wouldn't have just anyone. In exchange for protection from the angels and any other forces that dared rear their ugly heads, the remaining two kingdoms would sacrifice ten of the most beautiful and skilled humans every thirty years to the demon realm and the demons that ruled under Lucifer. However, a word of caution, as there was no guarantee that the all mortals would be claimed and bound to a demon, and their fate would be something worse than death. But, if luck and charm did favor them, a life of unimaginable luxury was just within their grasps.

This has been going on for the last five hundred years within the two remaining kingdoms. The chosen humans are given a year warning. Some choose to be pampered, others choose to live their lives like they had before. But there is something dark brewing as secret plots have started to unfold and with each passing day the chosen put at a greater risk. Betrayal, love, agony, and lust; the time is coming fast and you have been chosen.

I'm not going to slam down an iron fist when it comes to Posting. After all this RP was revived on a whim and we just want some stress free fun! However Please use size TEN or ELEVEN font, its really only for readability reasons. If you use colors, just keep them dark enough so its easy to read. Oh and please decorate your posts, at the very least a picture and name, just don’t over do it and don't page stretch. I am more interested in your actual post than what it looks like, so again do as little or as much as you want. This is a Long Term Literate RP! So if you could post several times a week, maybe even every three or four days, that would be lovely! Trust me I know you all have lives outside of the computer, but it sucks when the RP is held up because someone isn't posting. Most importantly We would love some dedicated Roleplayers who are willing to plot and plan! If you have something come up, no worries just let me know! However If you're not prepared to wait for the roleplay to open once the majority of the slots have been filled, please do not apply!

This is a Litterate/Relaxed roleplay, so I'm not asking for much, at least THREE paragraphs per POST. No one, two or three liners. I know people get writers block, but even if you have writers block you should be able to fluff it up enough for a few paragraphs. By literate you should know I also mean your posts should have proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Don't sweat a few mistakes here or there, we’re only human after all. But your posts need to be readable. Obviously use proper capitalization and don’t use chat speak, even in the OOC, it’s annoying. There is no maximum of how long your posts can be but keep in mind not everyone writes in novels!

Please PM me all character skeletons and reserve forms. The subject of your reserve should be the character your reserving. After you reserve a slot you have Three Days to send in your character’s profile, no more time is allowed. If you miss the time frame, you can try to reapply, that is if someone else hasn't taken the place. Also, when you’re sending in your reserves make sure everything looks correct. If pictures aren't sized right or the contents wrong i won't accept it. If at any point in the roleplay you want to change a bit of your character’s profile just PM me and tell me and I'll be more than happy to fix it. When choosing pictures use fantasy art/anime for your characters. Or else you will not be accepted.Mix things up and create some really complex characters! Feel free to play up to three characters. It would also be super helpful if you decide to pick up another character that your second would be the opposite gender. Actually yes, thats a rule, unless if you want to play all male demons, go for it! As per usual I expect the female roles to fly off the shelf while the Boys are left feeling Neglected!

Aitan – an ex-angel that was thought to have fought on the side of Hell, but during battles, it became unclear which side he was actually on. He disappeared in the middle of the war. He looks to find a way to open a portal to heaven, and to control both the Heaven and Hell portals. Only certain people can pick up on the difference between the planes and he needs that person to help him find ‘the key’. He needs a human of strong conviction and another human of purer intentions. He needs an angel, current or ex, as a sacrifice as well as a virgin sacrifice. He needs to seal Lucifer, even if only temporarily because Lucifer is stronger than he is. He needs people like Zuriel and his family, Dreavyn, and other strong demons/ex-angels out of his way. He looks to control all three realms, and when he finds that there is truth to there being a fourth realm, he wants to have that under his control as well. To keep things as under control as possible, he waits until one or more of the girls becomes pregnant to hold them as collateral. He threatens to kill the unborn child as well as the girl. One of the human girls is the key to opening the angelic portal and Aitan succeeds in getting the portal open – not only in the human realm but in Hell as well. The angels are only all too happy to get to decimate the demons that had untimely sealed them. This interplane rip is not only between the three main realms, but a fourth uncertain realm in which a lot of spirits reside. This breaking open of the forth plane provides a large power supply of souls for those that know how to use them. Aitan does.

While the girls are distracted by the literal ghosts of their past, Aitan kidnaps them. The girls that are captured or otherwise used find, transmit, and use information on what Aitan is going after and come up with a plan on how to stop it. Part of said plan includes a way to close both of the portals forever, which they obviously want, but the demons obviously don’t. The girls rescue themselves and escape from Aitan’s hold.

The demons and human women have a common enemy.
The demons and human women do not have the same end goal.

This causes troubles and tensions, paired with one or two girls actually falling for their demon ‘to be’. Even those that have not ‘decided’ to be with any demon, must choose one to bond with, as the connection between demon and human is strong enough and multiple bonds will provide the strength to close the portals for good. Only the human girls can actually close the portals through sheer force of human will. As long as they want it enough, the portals will be sealed. Aitan interrupts before they can finish closing it. Zu, Drea, another defeat Aitan and tear him apart.

The portals are closed, and the human girls are stuck, once more, in Hell. After so much action, settling down into a ‘normal’ life and developing a routine can be challenging. Since everyone is now bonded to a demon – because they had to be – everyone gets babies, or close to it. Thus begins the adventures of living out the rest of their lives and adjusting to a candid lifestyle. The side effect of being forced to bond and using that bond to close the portals is that all of the human girls now have longer life spans. They’ve come to realize that parts of Hell really do rely on the procreation that can only be done with a human.
