The year is 2013, Japan.

Two new bands have been established by the same records company.

The first one is called "Pure"and it's a j-pop boyband. Some of its members were friends since childhood, and in search of bands members they found the others and established the band. They all share deep love for music and friendship. Their first single was a hit, and guess what, it was called "Pure Heart". They immediately signed a contract. Soon, their posters were in every girl's wall -perhaps in some guy's too-.

The other one is called Paralysis and it's a rock to hard rock band. The agency found each member and decided they forced -cough- I mean they talked it over with each member and they decided to create it. They became pretty much famous in no time. However, the band members always seem to be fighting for some reason with each other.

Both bands are about to their first tour all over Japan.

Due to arrangements made by the records company, the two bands are going to have the exact same tour. That means, they both sing at the same destinations, travel with the same means,stay in the same place. The only time they will be separated is during performances. All that until the end of the summer.

What will happen between them? Will they become friends? Enemies? Or perhaps..lovers?

GENERAL
▌READ THE RULES PLEASE! Please follow Gaia's Terms of Service. The leader of this roleplay, is me, Hearts and Diamonds. You will treat me equally all the members of the role play. ANY FORM OF GOD-MODDING IS FORBIDDEN! IF YOU EVER DO THIS, YOU ARE OUT! Good, good. So, this is a remake of an rp I made last summer, however it's updated and has differences from the last rp.

ROMANCE, DRAMA AND VIOLENCE
▌Some romance is needed there, right? I am not going to allow love at first sight, guys. Even though this is BL, there is not going to be graphic content in this. Though, you can time skip sexy moments or just blur or do whatever. BUT DON'T TYPE THEM OUT. Keep it PG 16. Drama is also VERY encouraged . Violence is pretty much cool. I would prefer that things don't get very gory. Also, swearing is fine with me, I know because I swear a lot.

LITERACY
▌So, this is going to be...semi-literate to literate. This is around three chunky paragraphs. If you want this with words..I would say...around 400-500. This is however the minimum. I encourage you to write a lot more! But, quality over quantity, guys. I don't want a huge paragraphs full of meaningless stuff like for example how shiny your character's shoelaces are. Don't end up writing a novel. I love the ones who are able to, but there are many who can't keep up.

CHARACTERS
▌No Gary Stus. Many people tend to do them, but please everyone has flaws. Respect this and try to contain yourself. Even I do sometimes, but please, be original. Please, don't come here with seme/uke bullsh'it stereotypes coz I am going to chop your heard off. Also, your character can't get along with everybody! Keep feelings balanced.

APPLYING
▌So, you only need to send the form bellow. No profiles. Yay for simplicity~ Yeah, I am bored, you are bored, so why bother! But anyhow the form bellow pretty much serves like a mini-profile or something....title them with something that has to do with the title please. Anime pictures only, and I will be approving the pictures as well.

ACTIVITY
▌I would prefer if you post, well, two or third times a week. Don't keep the one who you are interacting waiting for a long time. If you are way busy please inform me and the rest of the rpers in the ooc. A name and a picture for the layout is enough. Pretty posts are really welcome. Font size must not be smaller than 10 and bigger than 12. You are obliged to show yourself in the out of character.

Ah, Natsume. The boy with the angel voice. Topped off with his rather handsome face, he was bound to be a hit in no time. Natsume is no stranger to the craft of singing---be it part of the school choir or singing solos for various school bands, you’ve guessed it. Name it, he’s done it. He had been taking voice training since he was young, after all. He was pretty popular among his peers as well, for his level-headedness as well as his charisma, which has earned him many a favor. He knew what to say at the right time. He was naturally just charming. So it wasn’t much a surprise that he became a singer for a band; much more one that had quickly become popular. Topped off with his rather charming personality, what’s not to like about Natsume? He’s a rather notable figure as is.

Hiro has a sort of double life. While being the guitarist for Pure, he is also a loving father to a four year old girl. The relationship that brought the child, Nina, into the world was one of the worst mistakes Hiro ever made. Though he does not talk about her mother, the man loves his little girl more than he ever thought he would. He had been a musician for a very long time, teaching himself to play the guitar at a very young age. Never once did he think that he would ever be able to make a living out of his music, something which he was so passionate about.

Akihiko is a confident, healthy, flirtatious young man who wouldn’t mind sharing his bed with a girl or a boy, and he is far from being a virgin. However, he was not always like this. Akihiko had a very normal family life, two happy parents and an only child. He never really excelled in school, he was always too busy goofing off to play attention. And he was bullied and teased relentlessly for his appearance, saying that he looked like a girl. He grew up with self-esteem issues and his self-defense mechanism from the bullies was to laugh with them and joke with them. Akihiko is still a childish, prankster still stuck in the body of a child who was bullied and would do anything just to fit in. And when sex or jokes didn’t help him feel accepted, he would turn to music, his only true solice.

The first member to join outside of the band's founding childhood friends. Born into a wealthy middle class family as the second son, Shiori was doted on since his youngest years. Musically inclined, studious and intelligent, his future appeared to paint itself just great. Naturally, he was enrolled in a prestigious all boys school, where it was expected of him to keep this standard. The only problem lay with his shifting attitude. Constantly seeking pleasure, he would move on from one activity to the next, change scenario, the people he interacted with and once he grew tired of them, the cycle would renew. In fact, only his love for piano remained stable and unrivaled. At one point he made the acquaintance of the original PURE(s), and for one reason or another, Shiori stuck around. In any case, a career in showbiz did not sound to him half as bad. Mind you, he takes the band seriously. He's also the one that usually deals with the records company, since he wouldn't trust the other members to see through with their band's best interests. He loves the dimwits anyway.

DELDRENI

[Natsu Kazuo], THE [Pure] ● [Bassist]

A docile giant, Natsu is a quarter European, though his hair is in fact bleached to be white and is not some crazy light blond, his European genes seem to have all gone to his height. He grew up with his father, step-mom and two younger half sisters, both half American. What can you say? Apparently his dad had a type. Though he spent his first eleven years and finished grade five in Japan, his family moved to North America right afterwords before his sisters started school. He didn't return to for six years, luckily he came back in time to run into other members of the band in high school. Though it was an odd fit. Natsu had never been that into music, didn't even have a favourite band and could barely name anyone on the radio. But he could do anything on his bass! His father taught him a couple of chords on his old bass, a hobby from his high school days, and afterwards Natsu had been inseparable from it. He continued to teach himself how to play even after his mom found him a cheap neighborhood guitar teacher in America, and quickly surpassed him. It always came first, even before friends, books, TV, homework or when he started to get into football. No matter how much you want out of him or how high your expectations he can meet them and often surpass them, on the bass at least. He just can't compose or write lyrics or read music very well... He was very happy when Oliver joined and more than made up for his lack of ability.

[OLIVER JAMEOUSON WESLEY], THE [PURE] ● [COMPOSER]

Born to a Japanese mother and a British father that both worked in the model and photography industry respectively, Oliver was very quick to be involved in the arts, taking up the piano, violin, cello, and creative writing. After having modeled for a few years, a temporary job from the suggestion of his parents, he decided to pick a job that didn’t involve him being shown off around all the time like a product, and did more laid back work with something he preferred doing. He spent a couple of years after that performing and singing in jazz bars for some decent cash, and getting a chance to do up some of his original songs in the pubs. Enough to pay the rent and bills, plus food. Playing his own songs was how he got started with the band in the first place, and despite being a rather new face to a group of friends, he was rather warmly welcomed and soon formed a bond with the other Pure members. Although he tends to be rather distant and closed off around people, he works very closely to the band when brainstorming ideas for fresh new songs. However, when he does get the inspiration to write and compose, he's often holed up in some kind of room for privacy, often going hours without food or drink to focus on his composition before the inspiration fades and his muse fails him. He doesn't keep his modeling a secret, he just chooses not to mention it during conversation unless asked.

[SEIJI IGARASHI], THE [PARALYSIS] ● [SINGER]

Seiji had always had a rebellious sort of nature. Always bending the rules and seeing how far he could push the line. With two loving parents and two younger sisters, his life was pretty good, but he was restless, he hated being tied down. In high school he started a band as to release any pent up emotions and restlessness and even though the band only played a couple songs and fell apart a few months later, his parents encouraged him to keep singing. When he graduated, he moved on with support from his parents to sing at bars and clubs and anywhere that would take him, moving from band to band that need a singer at the time. After a few years of this he was finally confronted by a scouting agent that wanted him to be the lead singer for a band he was putting together. He agreed without issue. Seiji expected this to be like most bands that did a few shows and was never heard of again, but it was nice to be scouted for once after all those years. Needless to say, Seiji was surprised when Paralysis ended up hitting it big and going on tour with another band that he wasn't really into. Rude and a bit selfish, Seiji is known for sleeping around with anybody as long as they're attractive enough and breathing. While this doesn't exactly make him anyone's idol, he couldn't careless, just happy to be on the road where he always felt the most comfortable.

Amren had loved music since he was a child. His parents had bought him every toy instrument they could think of, trying to encourage him. He was the only child of a fairly rich family, so he was spoiled. He was showered in music lessons from private tutors in many different instruments. He had taken to the guitar most of all, and it was what he ended up sticking with. He had gotten quite good over the years, with a lot of extensive training. His parents had even hired famous guitarists to help tutor him, or just meet with him to give inspiration. They bought him concert tickets to go see his favourite guitarists live. So, when he was given the chance to actually become a famous guitarist, he jumped at the chance.

Playing was suppose to be just a hobby. In high school, he formed a joke band with his friends, writing songs about how 'lame school was' or about 'the girl with the golden eyes'. A teacher enrolled them into the school talent show and they've been flourishing ever since. They were very popular among the students, but with a lot of good came with a lot of bad. After graduating, the group promised to play music as a living together, Three years later, the boys still haven't been able to be part of a record label, or even book themselves a gig. Many old friends and fans began to slowly forget about them and has gotten to the point where even the band members started to lose sight of their youthful dream. Soon, they had a falling-out and went their separate ways. It hit home for Ruto, it was suppose to be their promise. At the Music Store, where he worked at, Ruto was done working for the day and decided to relive his memories on the drums. Ruto played with all his might, giving it his last run before completely giving up his dream. Just as he was about the forget his dream altogether, a mysterious man asked him if he wanted to play professionally. All he could think of was how he'd forgotten to close the shop. Thank goodness he hadn't.

Kakashi My Hatake Anyday

Not much of Yuuma's life was known. For as long as he could remember, his doting mother remarried to some rich guy and he, himself was drag along with it. His biological father who he had came to known was rarely ever in his life due to some circumstances. Because of that circumstances, his mother was always being chased by the loan shark. Before his mother ever gotten remarried, Yuuma had promised his loving mother that he will pay off his mother's debt and possibly move the two out of the country. However, it wasn't that long until his mother decided to tell him the news of her fiancé. Upon hearing the news, Yuuma decided upon himself that he should move out and let his mother live a happy life. At the age of 19, Yuuma self-taught himself on how to play the piano, however, during some of his college years, he played a few songs and was later recruited as a keyboardist to the band Paralysis.

Nothing in Dimitri's life seemed to go according to the plan; with a bossy sister, divorced parents (both of which just happened to be into the same bad habits) and being a bulling victim, all he could do was just ignore everything and drawn himself even more into playing his beloved bass guitar. His whole life changed after he finished high school and begun working part time in bar to play the bass in order to entertain the customers. One day, after his usual performance a guy who claimed to be a talent hunter approached him and offered Dimitri a position in a band. Dimitri accepted, and before he knew it a whole new world appeared before him. Sure, Dimitri isn't quite sure if he has gotten used to being famous just yet, but he is trying the best he can. After all he can't let his fellow band mates down, right?

Taylor has always been the creative type and love writing. He picked up piano first when he was young, and as he grew he started picking up more and more instruments. His parents were also in the entertainment business, so they helped him out a lot with those things. He then started writing songs to the music he was playing at school, and by the time he graduated he was an all around musician. He moved out of his home to a small one bedroom apartment with his bearded dragon Archmage, and found this band needing a composer, THE PARALYSIS, and was so happy he found a job that he would love to go to everyday.
