Could an unborn pup have a life already? Some would say yes, others would say the opposite so it was probably dependant on who you asked. A certain black pup had been enjoying her life or her ... unlife. Everything was warm and safe, though a little crowded, she didn't mind. One day, though, it all changed. Things began moving around and suddenly she found she had much more room. That was great! Lots of room to ... well ... not do much but, still, there was now plenty of room! Though .. wait ... was she moving? No! Why was she moving? There was this tunnel she was suddenly being pressed into and she didn't like it one bit! Not one, single bit! If she could, she would have squirmed and protested but she found that she simply couldn't.

Soon, there was cold everywhere. She was so cold. She'd never felt cold like this before! Of course, little Trouble had just been born so she'd never experienced anything past being in her mother's womb with her brothers and sisters. But, despite the cold, the black pup felt something warm and soft on her - her mother's tongue as she was licked and nuzzled and nudged, encouraged to move about and make noise. However, the tongue left and the little pup cried out in protest, at least that's what she thought she was doing, she couldn't actually tell since she couldn't hear herself .. or see anything for that matter. Quivering and shivering, Trouble scooted around like a turtle, seeking out warmth. Little did she know that she was moving away from her mother and towards her brother, Marrok. Her instincts told her to seek out a teat to suckle and, upon discovering the warmth of her new brother's body and believing it to be their mother's, the black pup nudged him repeatedly, trying to find a teat to suckle from.

As he was growled at by Meesha, his own hackles raised in defense not caring for the younger wolf's attitude. His teeth were bared and the sadistic thoughts began to swirl, part of his wanting the fight to began and end with a bloody victor. Snapping his teeth together with a harsh snarl, he spoke firmly towards Meesha. "I suggest you get back soon, the pack I am sure will need fresh food anyways." His voice now had evened out and not a word was stuttered this time. No he wouldn't stutter one bit when he thought of how he could cause Meesha's suffering, it excited him far to much to be fearful of a fae. But soon his reality of being able to take on Meesha was pulled away when he heard the voice of Luna yelling at the two of them. His head turned with teeth still bared towards the ebony coated fae and her teal colored eyes, not much caring for her input on the matter between himself and Meesha.

"And who asked the Taichi fool of it?! Shouldn't you go find your Zeta and see what you are to be doing now anyways." Shifting his body as he spoke to face both Meesha and Luna, not sure who would try to attack him first or who he should go after. His mind seemed to smirk to itself of all the cruel and wicked ideas of what could be done. The white pelt of Meesha could be stained red as he tore her body parts off piece by piece. Growling to himself now he tried to focus on what was in front of him and that his deranged fantasies and pleasures. That was not as easy as it sounded sadly and worse off if Luna got a hold of him the fight between them would more then likely leave both in pain and blood covered, which brought out his more masochistic side to his thoughts. A sneer caused his lips to curl up before they relaxed some once more, noticing finally that the Iota was here as well.

"Good morning Faylen, out making sure there is no one to bring us harm?" His words were not firm and they could be said to hold a slight uneasiness but the stutter was not clear in them. But if you listened closely enough you could tell Lykaon had focused all his will power to say them as clearly and with out issues as he could have. It wasn't easy for Lykaon to do this and the longer it would last the more likely he would break out stuttering even when his mind was in a sadistic pleasured state. Talking to three faes at basically the same time was quite a big change for the shy sigma. Worse off two of them were causing his cruel side to truly show but the third he had no reason to be upset too. Which meant his words would not be the same to her as they were to the two who he had tension with.

The scent of their head scout filled her nose as her thoughts were else where. Truth be told Sable wished she was the head scout but secretly knew she didn’t have the leadership skills for the task and would be happy as his second in command. Her head automatically lowered some to Ansel seeing as how he was of a higher rank than her. Though after the formality was given she raised it up to a comfortable level and sat down before him. Her icy blue eyes watched Theo dance happily as well as the healer and sitter comes forth to help the new mother. That was one thing she loved about her pack, they could always be relied upon.
Reeling in her thoughts she looked Ansel and smiled to politely. “Yes I have made my early morning rounds and all seems quiet for now, there are prey next to the river though it’s just small game. I saw tracks of bigger game to the south of here, they seem to be coming back since the…” Sable’s voice drifted off she couldn’t bring herself to say what had plagued the lands.

Her paws padded the earth slightly nervously as she looked around for her son Uranus, she still had not seen him and hoped he was okay. With him getting so big she felt old almost as if she were an old maid never to be mated. Shaking her head free of such sad thoughts she looked back to Ansel. “There were no signs as of yet of, other, wolves about but I don’t think it will be long before they try to come after our prey. I did not see tracks crossing the packs line but that doesn’t mean there isn’t prey over there for them.” It was one thing she herself feared two or more packs going after the same prey could be deadly.

The last few weeks had been a blur for the white fae Russia, so much so she was often caught in a daze during those weeks. A lot of the Taichi wolves had died during those days and by a way that wasn't right for any wolf to die by. The white fae was glad some of the wolves that died had died fast, rather then suffer. Some though weren't so lucky. Rabies was a very scary subject for Russia and it was one subject she didn't care to talk about. But at least her friend Comanche and she hadn't gotten the hated disease , or her beloved Alpha fae. Russia had a lot of respect for their alpha female and she was so glad the fae had finally taken a mate. She was even glad they now had a new alpha male to help along the pack, and even maybe some pups to go along with it. She wasn't really sure what to make of the new Alpha male just yet, but if Katerina thought the male was perfect for the job, then who was she to judge. Another good thing that happened was that Russia was promoted to Zeta warrior. It had been her life long dream to become Zeta and now that was she was head Warrior, she planned to train harder and work harder to make the pack safe. Only bad thing about that is, she was and is the only Warrior in Taichi.

As the early morning sun came shining into the Taichi den, Russia opened her golden eyes to a wonderful morning. She was in the far corner of the den all by herself, but being alone was the least of her worries. Even though deep down inside she wished she had a mate to cuddle with during the lonely and cold nights. Flicking her ears forward and then all around her, the fae could tell that some wolves were up and about. She lifted her head and sighed, though it wasn't a lonely or sad sigh, it was more of a content sigh. Sitting up on her hunches, Russia scanned the den. The two Alphas were gone but everyone else appeared to be asleep. Getting to her paws, the white fae made sure to stick one of her hind legs out behind her and stretch it, then the other. She then pulled forward, stretching up on her front toes, then moving into a arch to stretch her back, yawning wide as she did so. Once that was done, she moved slowly through the den, trying to make her way to the entrance of the den. It wasn't easy trying to be quiet as she stepped over or moved around the sleeping wolves, she even clipped one in the nose as she walked by it. It earned her a growl and when she saw who it was that she clipped, Russia snorted. I hope it hurt, the Fae thought to herself as she moved passed Comanche. She loved her friend dearly, but lately he hadn't payed her any attention, that was due to his new friend he had hanging around him. Well at least he wasn't alone..

Finally reaching the entrance to the den, Russia let out another sigh as she took a minute to compose herself. "That wasn't easy." She spoke softly to herself, while looking back behind her at the still sleeping wolves. A small smile touched the corners of her maw as she turned back around to the face the singing forest. Hearing the birds chirp excitedly among themselves, caused Russia's ears to flick forward. It was then her ears caught the sounds of two squirrels barking at one another up in a tree near by. Yes today was a wonderful day. Russia listened to the squirrels bark at one another for a few more seconds, before turning her gaze to the area around the den. She searched for any signs of danger as well as sniffed danger. All seemed right in the world at the moment, but that could change quick, fast, and in a hurry. One had to be ready for anything and everything. Moving away from the den, the fae hurried into the bushes to go take care of some personal business. Once that was finished, Russia came back towards the den. She picked out a nice spot to plant her rear and wait for anyone to wake or wait for the Alphas to return. Either way, it really didn't matter to her. She was just going to sit and enjoy the sunshine for the time being, hopefully someone would come talk to the lonely Zeta.

((I hope the pictures of my wolf is ok. If not I will edit them. Sorry If i used someone's wolves, if not then cool.))

Lavita’s eyes closed as he enjoyed the soft licks from his love, he enjoyed being around her and helping her in any way he could. His long white ears perked up as the sound of another wolf came closer. Lowering his head his eyes narrowed upon the one who would disturbed their precious time together. Quickly he recovered when he saw it was Kaylah the friendly caring fae was always nice to be around too due to her friendliness. “Good morning Kaylah, I hope you could be of some hope too….”he gave her a friendly warm smile before returning his mates licks of affection. “I have brought you breakfast, and Kaylah has brought the mother food so that will ease her mind. That is good thinking of you Kaylah.” Lavita was trying hard to get his mate to put some of the pup watching responsibilities upon the other sitter before them. He knew Sitka would want to check upon the pups and this did not bother him though he did not wish to go without seeing her for hours at a time, when she would sit with the pups. “I would like for you to eat before you go look in on the mother, the shaman is there now tending to any complications so Im sure you have time to eat.” Lavita nuzzled into her fur trying to be gentle and nice about his words though in all honesty he felt like a selfish pup himself, trying to hog all of his mates attention. Which wasn’t right of him and he knew he should let her get to it. Raising his white furry head he looked about the pack. He figured he could become a guard within the pack or maybe a hunter, he was rather big and long so hunting would be a big help. He wasn’t the best hunter but he could be a big asset when it came to take down big prey.

xxxxxx >> >> ☯ A sharp pain in Akilla’s shoulder caused her jolt up right, she was still have nightmares of her twin coming back to hurt her some more. Though as she finally realized where she was she realized the pains were just her nerves in her shoulder, acting up. They had not healed properly and only now was the fur starting to come back making she shoulder look somewhat normal. Giving her body a rippling shake to ward away the nightmare Akilla took in her surroundings better. The pack had been hit hard by the plague that took place. Their pack had grown much smaller, Akilla feared it would make the easier target for muiji pack or even the Karamniel pack.

Her ears perked up as she heard a shuffling of movement and saw her Alphess get up and go to the river. Dipping her grey crown and green eyes to the Alphess as a sign of respect, though Akilla could see the stress and worry in her Alphess’s eyes and wished she could do or say something to make it better. Slowly standing up she stretched her back and then lowered her torso slowly to the ground. Her shoulder protested at the stretch but Akilla knew if she stayed there alittle longer her muscles would thank her later. The greyish fae with green eyes decided to go on a hunt, but without the proper use of her shoulder she would only be able to hunt small prey. She hoped a healer would join their pack soon so she could have her shoulder properly looked at but for now she would do the best she could.. Sitting down her forest green eyes scanned the small pack for signs of life and to see if anyone would join her on a hunt. Movement caught her eye and she saw it was the Zeta Russia, dipping her head to the fae though the clip to Comanche’s nose made her brows come together and it took a lot not to growl at the higher ranked fae. She didn’t like seeing anyone hurt Comanche, he was her friend too. Standing up she walked close to Russia with her head still slightly lower. “Good morning Russia, would you care to join me on a hunt, my shoulder leaves me slightly handicapped, and I cannot hunt much more than a few rabbits by myself. I think it would bring the pack around if they were to wake to a meal rather than the small numbers…”her voice softened at the mention of their pack’s size.

ooc: I didnt have the layout but I found this old picture, Im going to save Akia's post till later I dont have much going on with her right now unless she's needed in the hunt.

Three Legs and Handsome

xxNightmares. Again. Would this winter haunt Ace forever? The brute was locked in the grips of one now... Foaming mouths, glowing eyes, lashing canines. Blood everywhere, everything stained red even the once satin white snow. The stench of death clogging everything, it was the only smell, it was the only thing, disease and sickness, death and decay, and wolf's blood.... Ace was running, full out, as fast as his three legs could carry him. But she was so far away, too far... but still he had to reach her, he had to try! His dream self was making no progress, the image of Artemis, of his friend was getting father and father away. "Art!" He screamed, "Look out!" but the she was too far to hear him, she gave Ace a smile and a friendly wag of her tail seemingly oblivious to the death around her. And then the image changed, Ace was there with her now. Her maw was stained red, her eyes danced with that mad gleam of the completely insane. A pink froth coated her mews, and yet still her tail wagged. Ace woke with a helpless yelp, he felt no better than a scared puppy. His chest was heaving. It was a physical effort just to keep the contains of his stomach from being expelled. Ace closed his eyes, like Raine his first mother had taught him to do whenever he was frightened, and counted, until he was calm again, until the night mare was where it should belong; in the past.

xxA wide yawn stretched the brutes maw and he slowly blinked his eyes open. A sigh passed his mews, the beginning of yet another day, Ace's happy-go-lucky attitude had taken a big hit this winter. And the pupish brute had been smiling a lot less than was typical of him. To be honest he wasn't feeling much like himself anymore. The effects of the rabies outbreak had hit him hard, Karam Niel was his family and so many had been lost. Not only that but mentally it had been challenging for the young brute to accept the properties of the disease itself. Seeing members of his family, wolves he cared so dearly for turn savage and attack others, it had broken something inside Ace. Artemis had been among the wolves lost to the sickness, that one had been particular hard for him. He missed seeing her, missed her outgoing antics, it was just so weird not seeing her around anymore. To top off all this sadness, all this sinking depression, Minnie had been distant. Ever since Ace's confession she had turned her affections from him. They'd been intrusted after Ace had told the fae of his feelings, and ever since it seemed as if she'd been avoiding him. They'd even gotten into an argument at one point, publicly so, which was even worse. Having her yell at him in front of the others wasn't exactly one of Ace's shining moments. And worse yet she was spending time with another brute. The subject of their first argument had taken her from him. Kadzait; the newest member of Karam Niel, Ace didn't trust him. There was something deeply wrong about the brute, Ace just got an awful forbidding feeling anytime he was near him. Kadzait was inherently competition for Ace, and he knew it too, the black wolf would goad Ace with a wink here and there, whenever Minnie's back was turned.

xxAce didn't have long to ponder these thoughts before he spotted the massive form of Theo the zeta bounding around like a mad man. Ace's head took on that tilt of confusion until the elite's words hit him. Lyra had gone into labor, freaking finally. Ace had very little tolerance for anything lately, being so grumpy and depressed himself. But hey puppies, that was a good thing right? Ace's tail gave one little thump, he couldn't quite get the enthusiasm for much of anything. The brute pulled up his front legs and gave a sort of little hop to get his last leg up, he swayed for only a second before he was stable. -What's on the agenda for today?- The golden brute wondered once he was out of the den. He sat there just soaking in the warm sun's rays while he pondered exactly what he should do. Going to see the new puppies just sounded boring, newborns didn't exactly do anything yet, and new mothers were protective so that didn't sound like too much fun anyway.

xxAs Ace's eyes scanned the den site, they made contact on a black pelt near the alpha den, he immediately recognized his sister Ashley. He hadn't paid much attention to her lately had he? Well perhaps it was time to rectify that. The young brute trotted his way over to ebony pelt, sliding right up along side her in greeting. His sunny pelt mingled with the the black fur of her side, and then he gave Ash a little lick of the mews, to show that he was a least a little apologetic even if she didn't know for what. "Hey Ash. Hey Dad, hey Marissa." Ace said it an almost mockery of what used to be his normally up-beat tone, but hey at least he was trying to sound happy right? "So Sis I was thinking we hadn't done anything together in a long time, how about a game? Or a Hunt? The world is yours today, what do you want to do?" He gave Ash a little grin. At least this was a good way to keep certain thoughts off his mind, whether they included one fae or the other he couldn't be sure, but today he'd focus on his sister, at least that was a safe female to dote on.

The white female was curled around her three pups, licking them in order the mother checked them all to make sure they were okay and suckling. Ahriman was first and she nudged the brute toward her belly so he could feed, already his personality was starting to show and she could tell this pup may end up lazy which slightly annoyed her but she would break him of that. She had time to do it, the zeta would not allow any of her pups to be lazy balls of fuzz. Next she checked the closest pup to Ahriman which was her only daughter, Kalynn, the female was fine and she was suckling. The zeta licked the little pup clean and then moved toward the next one Ulfric, he put up a little battle but then went to suckling.

The zeta warrior had yet to eat and she was hungry but no one but her would suckle and protect her pups, the female growled and waited until her pups were all finished nursing and simply sleeping before she uncurled from around her white pups and she got out of the den, she was quite far from the main den area and she was not going to allow her pups to sit alone that would be stupid and the zeta was not that. Lifting her head she howled for the only wolf she could almost trust with her pups and that was the theta, Sidero's howl was loud, long, and if the theta ignored her howl then she would leave her pups and kill her then using her body as a fur blanket for her pups.

Sidero sat just outside her den her ears perked as she waited for a response or for the black theta to just appear. Sidero was not a very friendly female when she was hungry and she was indeed hungry, and because of this fact she felt like she was waiting far too long to get a response from the theta. A dark and deadly growl left the zeta as her claws dug into the earth. The father of her pups, and the alpha male had ignored her for quite sometime and because she was protecting her pups she was pretty much out the loop with what was going on with the pack, not that she cared either way. The only thing that Sidero was sure of is that, her warriors would not much like her after she was done with them.

While she had been with her pups she had been thinking, and she noted how lazy the warriors have gotten. Well they would not be for much longer, she would make sure that they did something, and if that meant she sent them on hunts with the hunters or on scouting missions with the scouts she would. They could only fight each other until they learned each other's styles and knew how to take them down. Sidero's ears flicked as another deep growl left the female, she was tired of waiting but her motherly instincts kept her in front of her pups. That stupid b***h better hurry and get over here before I make her my dinner. the zeta thought as her hackles rose and her lips pulled off her fangs.

Stephy Says: :'3 oh Sidero, I missed you.
OKAY, so for Sidero's pups, I want them to still be feeding,
but if you guys want you can have them moving around with
their eyes open and what not but they should still be pretty young.

The onyx three year old was officially part of the pack and against his adopted father he became a hunter simply because his adopted sister hated the idea of being a hunter but of course once he selected it and told his adopted father, she followed suit and he found it quite annoying. Kenyon and Meesha once were close, and that was many years ago, when they were pups, the white pup came into his pack's land and when he returned her to her pack, her father killed many members of his pack and then was going to kill him if he didn't stay with the pack. So Kenyon left his pack of Taichi to become a Mujihi, as he learned more about the pack he had to change who is was deep down to form and fit into Mujihi.

As a yearling, he started to hold a hatred toward his adopted father and sister, and it only got worse as he got older. His adopted mother had followed him from Taichi or at least that is what she tells him, not that he gives a s**t about her either. Kenyon feels that he is on his own even though he is in the pack he sometimes wants to go back to his "home" pack of Taichi. Now Kenyon hates his adopted father and alpha, Aron, more then he hates even his adopted sister and fellow hunter, Meesha, his first adopted parent and warrior of the Mujihi pack, Luna, and he hates her possibly more then he hates Aron and Meesha.

Now Kenyon is three and a hunter, most days he wishes and wants nothing more then to return to Taichi so spite Aron, Meesha and Luna. The sleepy hunter was curled up in the main den but off to the side and alone. The hunter ears flicked as he listened to the sounds of his pack mates sleeping and not getting ready for their day, including the himself. Kenyon felt someone step on his tail and instantly the hunter snarled loudly and snapped his razor sharp fangs at the moron who stepped on him. He was ignored which only pissed him off more, but he shook his head and got up.

He stretched his body out and growled darkly. Lupen, help me, another day in Mujihi. he thought as he shook out his thick black coat, his bright green eyes looked around the den before moving out and going to do something better with his day the sit on his pelt. His stomach rumbled loudly as he started toward the river for a drink of water, and as he neared his nose told him that Luna was nearby so he growled and shook his head and turned around and headed into the forest to hunt something to eat for breakfast. The hunter lowered his nose to the earth and picked up on the scent of a rabbit, his tail wagged as he slowly moved closer and closer, the rabbit seemed to have something near it which looked dead. The wolf lowered himself to the ground and then pounced at the rabbit, locking his fangs around the midsection of it. He crushed the animal and made quick work of it's meat as his nose picked up the scent of Meesha. His hackles rose and he licked off his maw and waited to see if the b***h would come toward him, knowing her she would and he was ready for her.

Stephy Says: I love Kenyon, and missed my baby boy.

User ImageA pup of the rusty red colour squirmed and yawned, his legs stretching out and one pushing against his brother Lane's face before a paw came to scratch an itch on his belly, the action caused the foot that had lightly pressed against his brother's face to repeatedly kick the white pup ... in the face. Until he settled down, snuggling into the warmth that was his parents. He was so warm and the snuggles were amazing. Just as the rusty coloured pup was about to settle down again, his "uncle" Theo burst into the den and began shaking his current pillow with enough force to shake the pup awake and send him on a tumble course behind Roan. It made him a little dizzy and he shook his head, ears flopping about and it went all the way down, causing his little body to wiggle. He popped his head up behind his father. Marissa's tail would only find one of the pups as Rau was currently stalking his favourite prey - his father's ears. The more difficult they were to reach, the better the game was.

The rusty coloured pup walked towards Roan's side as quiet as she could, keeping himself as low to the den floor as he could manage. Whether or not he had been noticed or spotted, Rau couldn't honestly care less. Spotting his prize, one of his father's ears, the little brute crouched down, rump in the air before he leaped, shouting out,
"ATTACK!!!!!!" Of course, this was done at the top of his lungs, breaking the peaceful, blissful, morning silence without a care in the world. He was a pup, who could blame him? Although, due to him being a pup, he wasn't quite able to clear his father's large body and had to scale him much like a mountain and then had to balance before being able to launch his next attack. Needless to say, it wasn't working very well. Not that the pup didn't try because he most certainly did but every time he ended up sliding down either back onto the floor or down to the space where his parents furry bodies came together. Looking up at his parents, Rau offered his most charming grin and a wag of his tail. A voice caught his attention and he looked over, spotting his black coloured sister[Ashley], which made him grin. Moments later, his older brother Ace came into view as well, causing Rau to squirm in attempts to get to his paws though it didn't work. "Ace!! Ashley!!" If there was one thing about Rau, it was that he was always happy to see his older siblings.User Image

Lane was nestled close to his mother, his white fur blending in with her as the little family of four slept peacefully. Sleeping next to him was his brother, Rau, who was the more rambunctious one of the two pup litter. Laying next to his mother was the newest addition to the family: Roan, the alpha male of the pack, or simply "dad" as he now called him. When the ivory pup had first seen the brute, he had hide behind his mother and pretended to have disappeared. Though, that was his usual reaction when it came to meeting new wolves. Lane was a painfully shy pup. Though, as Roan started to visit and bond with them more, he slowly grew accustomed with him and started to open up to him. It took some time but Lane eventually began to chat and play with Roan. That had been the first real "brute time" he had ever received, and he had liked it. As the days passed, he had grown to like the brute more and more. Roan was a pretty cool and nice brute in his opinion. Not only that, but it seemed like he made his mother even happier when he was around them, which of course made things better. If his mother liked the brute, then so did he. Though, what helped to win Lane completely over was when Roan asked him for permission to ask Marissa to be his mate. The pup vaguely knew what a mate was, for his favorite sitter, Sikta, had introduced them to her mate. All he knew was that having a mate meant that the two wolves loved each other a lot. With a bit more explanation, Lane learned that Roan did indeed love his mother, and that, given permission, they would become mates. Not only that, but Lane and his brother would gain Roan as a father, something that the pup never had before. Of course Lane had agreed for Roan to do so, for he liked the idea of having another loving parent. Also, the fact that Roan took into consideration about his thought and opinion about the matter made things even better. To him, it should that the brute actually cared about him.

Lane briefly woke up to a foot being pressed to his face which was soon followed by a kick. The pup simply moved his head away so it wouldn't happen again, and he stretched out his leg to give a quick and hard kick back at Rau. Before he could really try to go back to sleep, his eyes snapped open when his body started to shake and someone was yelling. His head popped up to see what was wrong, and his green eyes slide over his mother and father. What on earth was wrong? Though, when he noticed that their attention was focused on someone, Lane's gaze followed to see who they were looking at. Upon seeing the new and unfamiliar brute, the pup's ears flattened on his head and his head sunk back down. He snuggled closer to his mother's warm and soft fur, and rested his head on her body as his eyes glanced downwards. With any luck, he would blend right in with his mother's fur and the gold brute would never even notice him. Lane didn't really like meeting new wolves. He was shy and liked to just be around those that he already knew, which was basically only his parents, brother and his favorite sitter, Sikta. Around them, he could act his usual and sweet self. But add one stranger and he would go hid behind someone. With the way things sounded, it seemed like the new brute hadn't even noticed him yet. Good. Though, as the adults mentioned something about pups, Lane could help but curiously glance up at them. New pups? That meant new wolves that he could play with... Of course, that was once he got over his shy problem. Hopefully some of them would be more of the quieter type, like him, and they weren't all loud and rambunctious, like his brother. Lane didn't think he could deal with any more Raus.

Lane kept his gaze down as he waited for the gold brute to leave, though he never noticed when he actually did. So when his parents started to talk about them all going to bless the pups and then go on a walk, the pup was quite confused. Were they still talking to that guy? Glancing up, Lane's confusion quickly passed when he noticed that it was just the family of four again. Oh, so they were just talking to themselves. That made much more sense. "I wanna go on a walk!" he suddenly piped in as his head popped back up. "Please," he added politely. He had put up such a fuss when he first had to leave the den, but now he didn't mind it so much. Though, when he was out he always stuck close to his family. That outside world still seemed kinda scary, and he didn't want to get lost and be out there all alone. "And mornin'!" he finally greeted his parents with a smile and wag of his tail. Not long after that, Rau disturbed the quiet setting with shouting.

The family of four didn't get much private time before someone else entered the den. Glancing over, his ears flattened at the sight of Ashley, his new step-sister, and he lowered his head back down. Just like that, he was back to his shy self. Sure, he should probably put up more effort to be closer with his new sister, but it'd most likely be awhile before he did that. Not long after that, his step-brother, Ace, came in as well. Green orbs glanced at his brother, and landed right at the spot where a leg was supposed to be at. To him, it was still so strange to see a wolf with only three legs and he always wandered what happened to the brute. Not wanting to stare, Lane looked up at his siblings and let out a shy, "Hi," as he pressed closer to his mother.

Taichi's alphaess who was mostly aware of her surroundings unless she was sitting and thinking, then any wolf could cross her path and she would never even notice them unless they touched her, then very quickly she would snap out of it and most times she would be very grumpy and lash out on the wolf who pulled her from her thoughts. Currently the female was completely in her mind, her thoughts churning about her pack and the hunt she wants to do, she knew at least her and the others needed to bring home a doe for enough meat for the pack to eat for a few days happily. She knew that some of the hunters were hunting small meals but she wanted a big meal to bring everyone's spirits up.

Feeling a wolf brush across her Kaireena growled darkly and her fangs instantly were shown and she was about to sink her fangs into the other's flesh until she heard her mate speak and then she dropped her ears and whimpered at him. "Oh goodness, Calon, I'm sorry you scared me. Good morning Calon, how are you my love?" she said as the male licked under her muzzle, her tail thumped on the earth as she wagged her tail. The female was very happy with her mate, she had fallen in love with a male who was as sweet on the inside as handsome as he was on the outsider and someone that wanted the best for Taichi as she did and who actually loved her for her and not her rank. The female nuzzled her muzzle into her mate's chest fur and nipped playfully at him, she chuckled as the male's stomach let out a loud growl.

"I think you are hungry, alpha. I am going to see if I can gather enough wolves for a deer hunt. It will be enough meat for everyone and keep us happy for at least a few days." she said softly but loud enough that wolves around could hear her in case they wanted to join in on the hunt. Kaireena's ears twitched as she heard paws on the earth and she looked over to see one of her hunters Akilla, the female seemed to be having issues walking and as a hunter that was not a good thing. With her shoulder acting up, the alphaess would not allow the female to hunt until she was checked out by the shaman. The female licked her mate's muzzle and stood up padding toward the hunter who was now with the zeta. The alphaess came in at the end of the hunter's sentence toward the zeta and her heart broke, Kaireena knew that feeling all too well.

The alphaess sat down, her tail curling around her paws, "Hello Russia, Akilla." she said softly then looked at the zeta with a serious look on her face, "I would like to request you Russia to come join me as well as some others I hope, for a deer hunt." she then turned toward the hunter with a sorrowful look on her face, "Akilla I'm sorry, I would like you to sit this hunt out, with your shoulder I don't need you hunting yourself, or worse." she said and hoped the female would understand. Kaireena was all about the protection of the members of the pack and a hunter with a hurt shoulder could get her killed, the alphaess had seen it first hand a few times and it was not pretty, her ears flicked her ears as she heard more members of the pack slowly leaving the main den. This hunt would only happen if Kaireena could get enough members going on this hunt. She hope the promise of deer would get the pack ready for move out.

OutOfCharacter: I would like for Taichi to hunt, if you have an issue with that just let me know.

A scruffy black and white brute laid at the entrance of the den upon his side, his legs occasionally moving and a whine or growl came forth every so often. Wilton was having another nightmare, though this time he couldn’t wake up, not until it was done. The pack had been hit again by the rabies and almost everyone had been infected. Wilton had nowhere to turn nowhere to hide; his pack was so big everywhere he looked infected wolves stumbled about like zombies. Snarling and snapping at him trying so hard to sink their canines into his fur. He only had one objective, find Aphrodite she was the only thing that meant anything to him. She was his best friend his heiress, his light in the dark. He couldn’t stop running till he found her, a worried whine escaped his muzzle as he searched for her. Though suddenly they came to their den and he saw her eyes catch the light. He sighed a sigh of relief though was instantly caught off guard as Aphrodite came out. Her muzzle covered with froth her eyes wild and crazed as she snarled at him. A long defeated whine came from Wilton as he only sat down waiting for her to strike. When Aphrodite came at him, Wilton jolted up right with a yelp only to wake up and look around. Aphrodite was lying next to him and he quickly nuzzled his nose deep into her fur. He knew they were not mates as he wanted to do this the correct way by courting her first. Wilton prayed her feelings would not ever sway for him. But he had to know she wanted him for what he could become, not out of pity. Standing up he stretched his long skinny body, looking at himself he was ashamed, he need to get stronger and faster as well as back to his full size. Seeing a big white male made him envy of the brute and also remember how he himself used to be.

What a winter it had been. Rabies had devastated the pack, taking many lives in a violent rampage. Wolves that the fae had grown with had died. It was such a same. But, the alphas and the pups had survived, she still had Wilton by her side, and now Lyra was having her pups. Aphrodite had awoken when Theo had announced the pups' arrival and she couldn't help but feel happy for the excited father. How exciting! And just what the pack needed. Aphrodite's excitement waned when she turned to see Wilton, deep in a nightmare. Whining sadly, she layed her head back down and let herself drift back to sleep. She knew there was no waking him from this one, and that all she could do was wait it out and be there for him when he finally woke up.

The fae's eyes fluttered open once again when Wilton nuzzled her and rose. She watched him for a moment, then raised her head and smiled. "Good morning. Where are you off to today?" Aph had decided she would stay near the densite today and guard the area. Pups always brought the attention of predators, especially newborns. The pack would need the help if it attracted something big and dangerous, like a bear or cougar. Rising to her paws, she padded over to him and brushed up against her pelt. Truth be told, she was getting a little impatient of the brute. She knew that he shared feelings with her, but he hadn't gone beyond courting her in what felt like moons! She never pressed him on the matter though. He had gone through a lot and she knew he needed his time. So she would just wait and hope she wouldn't have to wait much longer. Wilton had improved so much since she'd first met him, and she was confident in how much further he could go. She never minded when he tagged along with her on her patrols or when he needed help. She was eager to do anything that would further bring him out of the shell he had been living in.
