                                                        • Night had fallen, covering the Alexandria forest in a dark blanket of clouds. It wasn't too long ago that Ajax claimed the title of Alpha as his own, and luckily for him, without another challengers. Fayne sighed, laying her head on her paws as she lay in the den. Though Fayne was a motherly-figure to her litter-mates, she remember Ajax from when Kesali would rough-house with him-- she remembered all the play-mates her siblings had. She obviously did not like Kesali and Ajax rough-housing, but the two were inseparable even by the controlling Fayne. The ivory fae stood up to stretch her legs out; first the front, then her hind legs, then she point her snout up to stretch her back. Shaking her pelt, a sense of relaxation and relief came over her.

Fayne couldn't help but have her share of doubt in Ajax, but she was hopeful of his leadership. She starred blankly at Ajax as he conversed with some other wolves; her sister being among them. Fayne didn't mean to ease-drop, but she did not like what she was hearing thus far. Sighing, her head hung low, trying to keep her mouth shut and opinions to herself. She was hopeful that the Alpha would listen to the council of his pack members and close friends-- if not, well, nothing could be done of it.

Fayne's head curved as her sister trotted off to look for Valor. She had lost hope.. Fayne felt as if nothing else could be done. Shaking her head, almost unnoticeably, she turned away. On her way to the healers' den, she stumbled upon the sitter, Lobo. Seemingly enough, he was disappointed with the new alpha in charge. Fayne remembered Lobo's severe injuries, but more importantly his nearly severed hip which hadn't healed properly. She pitied him; from a warrior to a sitter. Still, with his warrior experience, he seemed fit to protect and watch over the pups... if the pack were to have any more. She smirked, approaching the veteran brute.

                                                          "Hello, Lobo."

However, before anything else could be shared, Ajax howled a rally of his wolves. Fayne's ears twitched; her head turning back to look at the ebony Alpha. She whined, still hoping for a call off at the last minute, though she doubted that would be even an option to the tough alpha. Fayne admired Ajax's tough nature, but thought his arrogance could be altered just a little.

"Never mind," She looked at Lobo, "It seems as if we're being summoned," she dreaded the idea of being in a battle, but that what she couldn't help to think. Fayne hoped to stay behind, to save her strength for any injured wolves that would come to her after Ajax's call. She wouldn't be of much help either, but more if she stayed behind to ready herself for any injured wolves.

Fayne momentarily looked at Lobo, then continued on her way back to the healer's den to ready herself. Though, she knew a waged war wouldn't end so quickly, there were some wolves still recovering from the war that took their alphas. She merely worried for her courageous brothers and sisters who'd join Ajax's rally for war-- it was painted all over her face. Obviously, nothing could stop Ajax so she wouldn't bother... at least not at this moment.

With her head held low, Fayne trotted back to her duties.

Allucia’s tail did not stop wagging for the happy couple, even though Val was as still as a statue upon seeing her long lost mate. Rather than thinking something might be wrong, she simply assumed that she was too shocked with joy to think properly. Waiting for an explosion of happiness between them, the fae’s ears perked when she heard someone say her name. Looking to the side, she gave a friendly smile when the Aiyanna continued to speak to her. However, her smile faded when she apologized for her alpha’s actions and that his was acting oddly due to the loss of his mate. “Hmm,” she hummed for a second. “He has a very funny way of showing his grief,” she commented. So, Ajax was grieving over his “mate.” Mate. She wondered if that was the term to describe such a relationship. Perhaps the fae had given it her all for whatever they have, but she had her doubts for this new alpha. Especially considering how fast and hard he chased after Val’s tail, despite her obvious protests and trying to deny him.

When Aiyaana suddenly mentioned going hunting, Allucia’s mood picked back up. “Oh yes, please. Traveling makes you work up quite the appetite,” she mentioned as her tail slowly swayed. Following after her new acquaintance, Allucia carefully watched Aiyanna’s stance as she led them through Karam Neil’s land and searched for their food. She paused in midstep whenever Aiyanna did, perked her ears forward even if she didn’t hear anything, and lowered herself to the ground despite not knowing what to really do. Despite having traveled for seasons with her sister, she still wasn’t the greatest huntress. Aiyanna, however, looked like a pro. Surely if she mimicked her actions, she’d miraculously become the same way. Looking ahead, Allucia’s stomach growled quietly at the sight of the rabbit that Aiyanna had found. Licking her lips in anticipation, the female tried to wait until Aiyanna sprang forward or gave some sort of signal, but her hunger got the best of her. She lunged forward with jaws open wide, and her teeth only captured air. Aiyanna tried to make up for her mistake, but the damage was done and the prey was gone. When she noticed Aiyanna’s fur bristle with annoyance, Allucia’s ears fell back as she gave a sincerely apologetic look to her. “My apologizes. That was completely my fault,” she explained. Rather than getting angry at her, Aiyanna simply devised a plan for the two of them and how she could actually help the next time. “Oh yes, I can do that,” she said with a confident nod.

Aiyanna’s plan worked perfectly, or at least in Allucia’s mind it did. To her, she had done a perfect job in flushing out a rabbit and pheasant to her companion, and Aiyanna had done a marvelous job killing the rabbit. Who cared if she didn’t get the bird? The rabbit would suffice for now, and she couldn’t ask her for anything more. When Aiyanna told her to eat here, Allucia did not object or hesitate to tear in to it. She devoured her meal, and by the end of it, she was picking the last little bit of meat off and licking the bones. “Thank you,” she said once she finally finished, and licked her maw to clean off the blood. Looking over at Aiyanna and noticing her gloomy look, Allucia stretched her limbs before sitting up. Before she could say anything, Aiyanna mentioned how they head back. Nodding her head, Allucia followed Aiyanna in silence for a couple moments.

“Odd, isn’t it? You’d think my sister and I would be good at hunting considering how long we were traveling by ourselves,” she mused. Distracting thoughts were always useful. “But I guess we were both too busy with ourselves to pay better attention and learn. Val was looking for Remus, and I was searching for Mewol. I wonder if it’s here. I’ve been searching for it since I was a pup, and I’d like to have some results too…” she explained as her voice trailed off, and her brows furrowed at the mention of Mewol. She wondered if it lived in these parts. Val had found her mate, so now it was her turn to accomplish her quest. She wondered how many other creatures lived in these lands. Her lips quirked up in a smile at the idea of finding so many more. She’d make Merus proud. It never crossed Allucia’s mind that Aiyanna would get confused about who or even what Mewol was. Focusing back on her original thoughts, the fae continued, “But perhaps now that we’re here, we’ll have a better chance at finding something we’re truly good at. Maybe I can learn from you and get whatever rank you have. Or maybe I could be a story teller,” she said with a smile. She could tell everyone the legends and stories of all the creatures she knew of. Perhaps some could finally help her find them all. She liked the idea of that.

After more mindless chatter, the two eventually reached the den site. Allucia’s ears perked at the horny alpha’s announcement of attacking the savage pack that they were fighting. Although she wanted to ask exactly what the issue between the two packs was, Aiyanna offered herself to fight. After wishing her hunting companion luck, she watched Aiyanna trot off towards the group. She hoped that all of the rabbit-porcupine creatures would cross their paths and lend them the strength and speed they needed to successfully fighting against the savage pack. It’d be awful to see her hunting companion get hurt. Looking away, Allucia searched the unfamiliar den site for the familiar faces of Val and Remus. When she didn’t spot them, she smiled slightly before walking to the edge of the den site to lie down. The feeling was wonderful; to relax and know that she didn’t have to travel miles and miles a day anymore.

And if the birds are just hollow words, flying along, singing a song.
xxxWhat would they do, if they just knew, what they could do.
                xxxxxxIf they just knew.

The pack's generally "happy" demeanor didn't come as much of a surprise to the alpha. After all, they were Mujihi; the most ruthless, bone-crushing, blood-thirsty pack around and the thought of finally getting their paws wet with the blood of some Karem Niel low lives was sure to send some of the pack into a bit of a frenzy. It was a good feeling to know that the pack was one-hundred and ten percent on her side. They were ready and willing to fight, most for their own reasons, but still ready to lay down their lives on the line for Mujihi's territory.

As expected, not many had volunteered to actually stay behind to protect the densite. No matter, she'd just have to pick exactly who she wanted to stay behind. "Selix, Layla, Varrin and Wamika, thank you for your volunteering to stay behind and keep our densite safe." Granted, none of them had actually came forth and insisted on missing the raid, but this was Evana taking charge of her pack and doing what she saw fit. It was a situation of them moreso being voluntold what to do, rather than them volunteering. Obviously, at least one guard member should stay behind, since that was their job. She'd chosen Selix over Nox because, perhaps, she trusted him more. With all that had gone on in the past few days, the brute had proven himself to be quite worthy of tasks that she had assigned him. He hadn't failed her yet, and hopefully he had planned to keep it that way. The other three simply stayed behind because of who their roles in the pack. No doubt, they would be much more help back home than out battling Karem Niel.

"Phoenix, Zelie, and Xira will all take point of the western side of the forest, where Karem Niel lands meet that of Mujihi. Keep a sharp out for any movement by the enemy. If you are to come into contact with anyone who is not of Mujihi, Zelie will sound the alarm. And Phoenix? You are free to grab yourself something to eat from the killpile before your departure. You will need your strength." Evana wasn't too happy with allowing the brute to eat so soon after he had been the sole reason for the death of one of their packmate's, however, she couldn't have him out there with no nutrition fighting for his life. Of course, part of him wanted to send him out just the way he was, but.. who knew.. perhaps, she had a bit of a soft spot for the hard-headed brute. "Stannis, Nox and Aerys will head to the eastern border. Again, if you see any movement, Nox will sound the alarm." Her eyes shifted between the two groups. Some weren't yet present but they still had a bit of time. Hopefully, the others would be smart enough to track down whoever was missing in their group before actually going out to ambush the raid. "As for myself, I will be located closest to the position of our den, in between the two groups that I've set up in any case that the mongrels get past you all. Zayev, Guinevere and Vetis will all be accompanying me." With the plan in motion, Evana sent everyone on their way to gather themselves and possibly strategize amongst their little groups. "Let's start moving out." With that, Evana moved to gather her small group, her eyes scanning for the small crowd for Zayev, Guin, and Vetis.

~*Mujihi Pack Member*~

As the names were called out of those who had 'volunteered' to stay behind, Phoenix felt some tension in body dissipate. He had been worried he would be chosen to stay behind not only for causing the death of a fellow pack member, but also because he was probably the newest to the pack. Then again, she could be sending him out there hoping he would get himself killed. That's what he thought, until the alpha agreed, by no action on his part, to allow him to feed before they left. His blue orbs glanced to what was left of the decaying meat pile. Most of the choice pieces were long gone, and it was no longer fresh. However, he would take what he could get. Glancing back to Evana one last time, he sensed no hidden malice. She may not have been particularly fond of allowing him to eat after she had already denied him before, but she didn't seem to be testing him, or to have done anything to the food supply. He doubted she would risk poisoning the entire pack just to teach him a lesson.

He could already feel the moisture building in his mouth as he stepped away from the group to approach the food he had been denied before. He still would much rather depend solely on himself, but desperate times called for desperate measures. Ears still perked and listening as their alphaess spoke, Phoenix sniffed at the remains of the beast, nudging through the bones with his muzzle before he found a piece to his liking and chomped down, holding the bone down with one massive paw while he ripped the flesh away. The sensation caused a feeling of deja vu in the brute as a vision of blood splattered through his mind. It was a familiar motion, one he'd done hundreds of times before, not only in feeding, but in battle. His tongue lapped out across his lips, licking at the blood that now stained the white fur that coated his face. He wondered how many wolves of Karam Neil would have to suffer the same fate before this pack would take him seriously.

It seemed Wamika would be staying behind, which was probably wise - you shouldn't put your only healer on the front lines. In fact, if they could take out the healer of the Karam Neil it would probably mean their end. Even slight injuries, if left untreated, could cause death. And if there were no one around that knew how to treat said injuries even a scratch could kill a wolf. The humans had called it something like...'infection.' Sometimes they didn't even try to help the animal, they'd just use something...something small, shiny, that made a loud noise, to put the beast out of its misery. If the Karam Neil were stupid enough to bring their healer with them to this 'ambush' and he could take her out, well...the rest would be easy.

It seemed that he would be joined by two faes on the Western side of the forest, which had its pros and cons. On the plus side, both seemed capable of fighting to some degree. Xira was a warrior, obviously she could hold her own in a fight. He doubted Evana would allow someone to hold a position she didn't believe they could handle. Zelie was a hunter, which means she was at least good at killing things. Hunting and fighting were two different worlds, though similar in some aspects. If nothing else, Zelie would be useful for tracking down any Karam Neil that entered their territory. And since their territory would naturally be covered in the scent of any Mujihi wolf it wouldn't be suspicious if two or three wolves were gathered in an area. Which meant just because a Mujihi wolf's scent was caught it wouldn't set off any alarms with any Karam Neil.

The other advantage to having two faes go with him was just that - he got to spend some time with a couple of pretty faes. Faes and fighting, two of his favorite things. He wasn't much of a socialite, but he was still a male.

The down side to all this was that he had to work with a couple of wolves with whom he'd never really worked with before. He was unsure if he would be able to trust them. Would they have his back? Would they run off at the first sign of danger? Would they gladly sacrifice his life if it meant saving their own? He'd always fought by himself for himself, and now the tables were turning. He would have to work with a team to pull this off. If not, they would probably all wind up dead.

As the briefing ended, Phoenix took one last chomp of his meal before he turned and headed over to the group he'd been assigned so that they could hopefully start moving to their designated location. Xira was more experienced than him when it came to fighting as part of a group, which meant she would hopefully have some sort of strategy. That, and he was the lowest member of the group, being the only member not holding a rank of some kind. Which, to his dismay, meant he would have to be ordered around by a couple of faes...again.

He snorted at the idea as he approached Xira, swallowing the last bit of food he'd pulled away from the kill pile.

                                                        • Needless to be said, Twig’s helping paw on the hunt with Kesali and Meeka probably did more harm than good. His boulder-sized paws were not made for hunting, and wherever he went, he managed to scare away most of the prey apart from the dumbest ones. When they finally returned to the densite and reported to Ajax, the two faes were no doubt very glad to see him go. He was left to his own devices once he returned, and with Ajax too busy being alpha to spare any time for his idiocy, Twig went off to curl up by himself and take a much needed nap.

It was night by the time Twig was rudely roused from his slumber by one of his fellow packmates. He opened his mouth to complain about the rude intrusion, but before any sound could leave his maw, he was ushered out into the centre of the densite. Someone must have heard Ajax summoning him for the raid, because the next thing he knew, he was standing next to the newly appointed alpha. Without having a full grasp on what was going on, Twig found himself ushered along with the rest of the group as they made their way to Mujihi’s territory.

Contrary to everyone’s apprehensive attitude and careful, quiet steps, Twig’s rock-sized paws made enough noise with each step to alert every single prey in the territory. He maintained a blank expression, aside from the occasional huff and snort when he accidentally tripped over loose pebbles in his way. He stuck close to Ajax’s side, ever the loyal and trustworthy companion. It was questionable whether or not he truly understood the seriousness of the whole situation, judging from his blank and slightly clueless expression. Surely, if Mujihi did not know about the raid beforehand, they would hear his thundering pawsteps even from a distance.

He was itching to have the taste of blood, and quite honestly hoped that he could kill a few of those worthless mutts. As he hung around, he spotted Zelie and gave her a smirk and a nod. Maybe, if Karam Niel was stupid enough, Zayev could work alongside his sister just like the good ole’ days. His tail wagged slightly behind him at the thought.

When Evana addressed the pack, she gave a list of names that were to stay behind. He was thankful that he wasn’t one to be left away from the action. Had he of been chosen to be left behind, he likely would have argued. The brute huffed, his energy and bloodlust building in him. He shifted in his spot and when Evana assigned groups, he wasn’t surprised that he was to go with her. He had already offered once today, before they found out the other pack was going to stir the chaos before them. He gave a smirk and as everyone began to gather in the groups assigned, the red brute approached the Alpha.

Although Zayev wanted some front of the line action, he was fine with hanging around the Alphaess and keeping her safe. As he approached he dipped his head slightly and then looked at the other two wolves who would be joining him and Evana. “Mmm. I’m itching to get my maw covered in some of those mutts blood.” He gave a low growl and his piercing eyes glared at Evana. “Shall we head out darling? Lead the way” He gave a wink and then look towards the two other wolves. Although they were around, that wouldn’t stop Zayev from acting like his self and flirting with the Alpha. What could you say, the brute was a ladies man!

As the group started to move into the forest, Zayev kept his maw shut and his ears erected. His tail swayed side to side and his eyes scanned the area around them. He knew that if Karam Niel was having some sort of raid, that they could very well already be in the territory. He needed to prepare himself, and make sure he was ready to put on a show and spill some blood. The brute rolled his shoulders and gave a deadly smirk to no one in particular.

After they laid Willow beneath the only willow tree in the area, Nevaeh stood quietly near the body. She stared at the fae for a long time. Driskoll and Kavindra suggested that they head back, but Nevaeh wasn’t going anywhere and didn’t mind the other two leaving without her. She wanted her peace with Willow. Her eyes closed and she sighed softly before lifting her head to the sky and howling a solemn song. She closed her maw shut and looked back at the stiff body of Willow. Her ears flickered when Ajax was calling the pack together, but Nevaeh didn’t move. Whatever her brother wanted, could wait. “I’m sorry he didn’t take care of you like he should have. Trust me, karma will hit him. Hopefully you are in piece my dear friend” She whispered softly and closed her eyes before turning her body away from Willow. “Maybe you are better off with Lupen than with my brother..” She gave a soft sigh and casually began her way back to the densite. She still couldn’t wrap her head around how heartless her brother had become.

As she returned to the den site she was informed that Ajax was going to do a raid? Her heart dropped and she growled in anger avoiding anyone during her raging moment. Her eyes pierced at her brother as he gather everyone together. Are you mad?! You’re going to get everyone killed!. She snorted and looked away before the pack began to move towards Mujihi territory. Nevaeh kept close to her brother as they moved out. Her eyes wandered and her nose worked constantly. The last thing they needed was something to go wrong. As they continued towards Mujihi, Nevaeh watched her brother faulter and she knew exactly why. Something was wrong, and she was worried that they were being watched. “Ajax. I don’t think this is a good idea…” She moved towards his side and looked at her brother. “The forest feels off.” She looked at her brother. The wildlife was completely silence and there was an eerie feeling in the air. However, because they were already in Mujihi territory it was hard to pick up any live scents. Everything stunk like the enemy pack. They wouldn’t know if someone was watching them or ready to attack them.

Watching Valkyrie, he half expected her run and never seek him out again. After he explained himself, she still looked unsure. It also didn’t help that Ajax was rallying his troops and going off to some war with Mujihi. Remus growled and looked towards the alpha. He was literally just appointed and now hes going to get the entire pack kicked. Just lovely! The brute turned his attention back to Valkyrie as she bumped into him and motioned him to follow her. He did so, watching her as she walked. Something was wrong, and he wished he could fix it. This was not the happy reunion he had wanted with her. He missed her dearly and she was probably going to tell him off and say she couldn’t be with a brute like him. He wished that he could take everything back, but he was enjoying his life. He held the rank of a hunter, and he meant something to a pack. It was different here than in Rarain, but it was all for the better.

Valkyrie sat beneath an old oak tree, and Remus watched her. He continued to stand in front of her and watched her as she spoke. She asked him a million questions and Remus kept quiet until she finished. Watching her eyes drift towards his silver ones, he knew that she was watching for a lie. “I have not killed another wolf. I have come close, but I haven’t killed anyone.” He looked at her dead in the eye, speaking the truth. “I promise you Val. I haven’t changed. The only thing different is I’m not some lowly omega. I have a purpose here. I’m a hunter. The reason Ajax is going all nuts is because he just became Alpha. He’s trying to impress everyone and is only resulting in them likely getting killed. He’s young and stupid. It’s not always like this here, I promise. The only concern is the pack across the way. They are sinister and evil, which is why we have to be tough and keep our ground. They want to wipe us out, but from my understanding, Karam Niel has always been here.

There was obvious tension in Layla’s movements. Nox knew very well that something was wrong. Inquiring with the fae, she seemed depressed and mentioned that Stannis was nowhere to be found. Nox scoffed and rolled her eyes. It was a typical brute thing to do. That’s why Nox wasn’t involved with any brute currently. Why set yourself up for heartbreak? Nox looked towards the sitter and when the white fae asked if she could help her possible train, Nox gave a smile. “[color #a50b5e]Anytime, we can begin tomorrow if you wish. Soon enough, you won’t need a brute to protect you” She gave her a wink and watched as Selix had joined them.

It wasn’t soon after that Evana had given the run down what was happening. They would be fighting the other pack. However, the other pack believed that they were raiding Mujihi. Nox couldn’t help but chuckle. Nox snorted and listened as she was assigned a group and she looked towards Aerys. Evana had called Stannis’s name out but he was still not present. Nox snorted and looked towards her other group member before the teams started to head out.

As the two began to travel towards the spot they were assigned, Nox stopped and looked towards her other group member. “Don’t go screwing up.” With a growl she continued to move along, hoping that they would maybe even come across Xira. Nox didn’t feel all too comfortable fighting without her sister.

ᴏᴏᴄ: not much i can do, both people i was assigned with aren't here. Stannis i believed was removed and Aerys isn't fully created.. so heres to hoping I can make it all work..

Valkyrie was relieved to hear that Remus had never killed a wolf, but was later chilled when he admitted that he had come close to. Her ears bent to the side slightly, perhaps in fear, as she stared at Remus, a wolf who almost became a killer, a murderer. In Rarain, killing another wolf was completely taboo, capital punishment, and just unthought of. Obviously, they weren't in Rarain anymore, but she stuck to those same morals, and expected Remus to do the same.

She did not speak up initially, unsure of what to say. Eventually, Val lost her chance to say anything as Remus continued to explain himself and Karam Niel. He tried to paint the pack in a positive light, saying that it was the opposing pack that was the evil pack. Alpha Ajax was described as confused and disoriented from just being appointed alpha, which Valkyrie could partly understand. Still, though, Val was not swayed about Karam Niel being a decent pack. Unlucky circumstances or no, it was still a pack embroiled in a war, and Valkyrie had no interest in being a part of that.

"Well," She started with a delicate shake of her muzzle, as if to shake off previous thoughts. "I don't care about Karam Niel anymore. What's most important is that we are together again." She stood up and padded to Remus, gently touching her nose to the ruff of his cheeks. "We can start our own pack now, our own family. We can be our own alphas, and no one can tell us what to do or who to mate with." She lightly groomed Remus' neck with a few tender licks.

Talks of such running away and starting a pack did not scare Valkyrie, a fae who had been molded to become an alpha since birth. A normal wolf would see it as a daunting change, but Valkyrie just saw it as the inevitable. She was going to end up an alpha eventually--why not be her own alpha? "We can leave right now. Allucia will be with us too. And soon many other wolves will join us. They'll see how kind and fair we are, and feel blessed to be a part of our pack."

RAWRAs the sun came up to the middle of the sky, it found two wolves licking their chops from their most recent meal. It wasn't much, just a couple of rabbits. Igneous could sniff out all the prey she wanted, but they both lacked the skills to actually take down something large. Even medium sized, for that matter. One rabbit they had caught earlier that morning and the other about an hour ago. Iggy was terribly hungry, but she was used to going with out and made sure her adoptive little brother got the nutrition he needed. At two years old he was already quite larger than her, but he was a gentle soul and the most noble brute she'd ever seen. Her father had taught him well, it showed in the way Bhaltair held himself. He looked like he could be an alpha one day. Her brother's voice called to her, making her turn to him just as he fell over his paws and right into dirt. She wasn't sure how he'd managed it, but he'd tumbled in a way that all four paws were sprawled out from under him. This pup would be the world's clumsiest alpha for sure, She thought with a smile. He had a long way to go if he were to ever be an alpha wolf, but he had his moments. Iggy got up, abandoning the little bit of rabbit she'd been gnawing on, and walked over to her brother. She lowered her head down to his and asked, "Are you alright, buddy?" He heaved a sigh, but offered a goofy grin. " 'Course I am sissy." He says, using the nickname he'd given her years ago. She smiled at the nickname, at first she'd never really cared for it, but it grew on her. She straightened up and looked around the area, thinking about which way to go next. Stopping here hadn't been an accident, she'd done it because her own parents stopped here to rest when they were leaving the pack. She was trying her best to retrace their trail they'd taken when she was a pup, but she did make a couple of wrong turns now and again. Iggy lifted her nose to the air, praying she'd catch a familiar scent on the wind, but they were still too far away.

RAWRShe turned to look at her brother and found she had to look up a little more than usual. She felt a surge of a proud sister moment, he was growing taller. "Well, I say with full bellies, we start our trek again." She said and then turned back to look at the trail she'd chosen."We still have a lot of ground to cover, but the surroundings are starting to look really familiar. We're not too far away." She assured him, already starting forward. Her ears twitched at the sound of Tair whining. She turned to him with a soft look and felt bad. She didn't mean to push him, they were just so close!"I promise we'll rest when we get closer." He nodded, but he still didn't look enthused. "Okay, just a little bit longer, right? We'll be there before we know it!" He grinned, tail starting up in a wag. She smiled at his enthusiasm and together they were off again.

RAWRThe two were blissfully unaware of the chaos that was about to happen. They didn't know about the death of an alphaess, or that the packs were about to go into battle. If Igneous knew, she wouldn't dare step a paw back into the territory, probably turn around and either go back to her parents for Bhaltair's safety or just find a new pack all together. She'd knew that the reason for them leaving had a lot to do with the neighboring packs, but she thought maybe it wasn't so bad anymore. Maybe peace had been made. It was a lot of optimism, but she lived off of that at times. Igneous held true to her promise, so as the scent of Karam Niel grew stronger and stronger, she slowed their pace until she found a suitable placed for them to spent the night. She peered under a rock, it was a bit snug, but there was enough room for Bhaltair to fit. Maybe not the both of them at one time, but that was alright because someone need to keep watch. With some convincing on her part, she got Bhaltair to settle down and take a nap so she could do the first watch. In the morning, she decided, she would let the pack know she was on their lands. Then, when they came, hopefully they would allow them to join. For now, it was time to rest. She felt a stab of hunger, but knew she could go at least another day or two without eating before she absolutely had to.

RAWRSleep wasn't going to come easy though, she felt a something in the air. Something was off, but she couldn't figure out what. Igneous hoped coming back here wasn't a bad decision. They were too far in to be backing out, the two of them weren't going to last too much longer without a pack to help with hunting. As she lay there worrying, she also thought about who was alpha now. Or maybe it was the same? If it were the same, it would be easier for her to slip into the ranks. Or at least that was her thought process. "Stop worrying, sissy." She heard her brother say, wriggling out of their temporary den to crawl up beside her and lay his neck and head on her back, curling around her a bit and making the size difference more obvious than ever. The thought was bittersweet. He was no longer her little brother to coddle, though she certainly would try."You know I can't help it..my brain never shuts off." she sighs, but lays her head back on her paws and tries to focus on the sounds of the forest.

RAWRAs the sun came up to the middle of the sky, it found two wolves licking their chops from their most recent meal. It wasn't much, just a couple of rabbits, but it was enough for Bhaltair and his sister. She'd done a great job tracking them, he was the best scout he'd ever seen. Of course, he'd only ever hunted with and known one pack, but that's besides the point. It was no secret he admired his adoptive siblings, he wanted to be just like them. Although, he feared he would never make it out to be a great hunter like Fell or a brilliant scout like Iggy. He'd tried to sniff out prey before, but he'd landed them finding a large grizzly and her cubs. That was a very bad day for the two of them because mamma bear seemed to have a very low tolerance for wolves in the vicinity of her precious little cubs. He stopped his crunching and cringed as he remembered the memory. Suddenly, a noise caught his attention. Curious, he went to figure out what it was. The limp unidentifiable prey that was once a rabbit still hung from his maw as he went up a small hill to see a couple of vultures and crows galore. It wasn't even a big kill! Just two rabbits. He shook his head at the birds. Things must be getting hard for them to just hoard over what ever smell of death that they could. "Iggy, I'll never understand b-whoa!" He cried, tripping over his paws and tumbling down the slope. He landed with a thump and his limps sprawled around him. Ears flat with embarrassment, he looked pitifully up at his sister as she walked over. "Are you alright, buddy?" Her brownish orbs peered into his golden ones. Bhaltair heaved a sigh from his silliness and said," 'Course I am sissy." He pushed himself up until he was on all fours and shook out his fur to rid himself of the dirt and embarrassment. As he stood there, he peered down at his sister with shock. When had he gained three more inches on his sister? She'd never been the tallest wolf their family pack, the females of the pack ranged from small to average, but at some point he'd grown at least another three inches.

RAWR "Well, I saw with full bellies, we start our trek again." Iggy said, having moved away while he was lost in thought. "We still have a lot of ground to cover, but the surroundings are starting to look really familiar. We're not too far away." She told him. He hung his head, still exhausted from yesterday's not stop trek. He let out a soft whine without really meaning to and instantly regretted it. He saw her quickly look back at him, eyes soft and caring, "I promise we'll rest when we get closer." He nodded, if she could do it, so could he. "Okay, just a little bit longer, right? We'll be there before we know it!" He grinned, tail starting up in a wag. He trailed behind her as she started down a path only she knew. He may be tired, but he would follow his sister until the end of time.

RAWRThe day drug on and he was slowly falling farther and farther behind. It wasn't clear if he was just being distracted or really was tired. Nothing was familiar here, but Iggy said they were getting closer. She'd been saying it since they stopped at the highest rise of the sun. He was never really one to doubt his sister, but she had gotten them off track a few times. Just when he was starting to think they were never going to get there, he started to smell unfamiliar wolves. It was getting stronger the farther they walked and also gave him a second wind. When they stopped, he was wired for sound. They were so close, yet so far away. Iggy let him know that in the morning she would howl to the pack and let them know they were here, wanting to join. For now, they needed to rest. He tried to get Igneous to rest first, that he would take the first watch seeing as he was so hyped up anyways, but she wouldn't have any of that and sent him off to bed. Sleep wasn't going to come though, he was just so excited! But Iggy didn't seem to be, if anything she was on edge. As he peered out of their den, he could see in her stiff posture that she was worrying. Probably over worrying like she always did. He crawled out of their den and cuddled up next to her. "Stop worrying, sissy." He said, his voice betraying how tired he really was. "You know I can't help it..my brain never shuts off." she sighs and lays her head back down. He snuggles closer, bringing a large paw and leg around the fae as if to hug her and started to drift in and out of sleep.

The three that was in her group finally assembled themselves. She watched as Zayev's anticipation on the raid began to build up. It was notable in his eyes, his body language, and his demeanor all together. In fact, it was contagious. "In do time.. but yes, let's go." She answered, and began toward the forest in order to take their position. "Vetis, see if you can track down their alpha anywhere near out locatioin." She announced quietly, allowing a small smirk to plaster itself on her maw. "I want to see what this little mutt is all about."

The groups has finally set out to put a halt on Karem Niel's up coming raid, or at least, keep them from making their way to Mujihi's densite. It was interesting to have the whole pack on her side, it was empowering to say the least. It seemed that she was molding into a decent alpha and the thought of it sent chills up her spine. Aron would have been proud. . . Aron. He was her potential mate in this whole thing. Honestly, without him she probably wouldn't have stepped up to this position. Her hatred for Karem Niel was because of the lost alpha. A ruthless killer, and power hungry brute he was, but that's what had attracted the fae to him. That, and he had a, somewhat, softer side that she had been a witness to. Or perhaps, that soft side was just for her. Either way, her heart ached for the ivory God. Despite having the pack, often time she felt quite lonely without him by her side at night. A shitty feeling it was.. often times, she found herself pushing the thought of him aside in order to avoid the emptiness in the pit of her stomach. Even though she was accompanied by three other pack members, the Alphaess had never felt so alone. The silence between the four of them was making her thoughts unbearable. Therefore, she decided to occupy herself until they had reached their destination.

Evana's eyes flicked over to Zayev, The male had showed interest in her before. She'd played along but never actually entertained the thought of having him as a mate.. until now. Sapphire orbs met his piercing yellow ones before sliding across him russet coated body. He wasn't at all half bad looking, and in the moonlight he had a different appearing that was somewhat alluring. It was.. attractive to say the least. Quietly, she took note of Guinevere and Vetis.. being the dominate female she was, she decided to mark her territory for safe keeping. The alphaess abruptly moved closer to Zayev rubbing her body close to his, mixing their scents into one. She nipped at the brute's scruff, not at all tenderly, but a clear indication of flirtation and possibly a hint to a bit more. Carefully, she slipped her body just under the brute's neck, almost like a needy cat, allowing her tail to coil around his muzzle before tracing the underside of his neck before appearing on the opposite side of the warrior. Just as quickly as the flirtatious action had started, it was over and her attention was back on the mission as she took the lead.

When they finally came to their position, Evana halted their small group, her eyes flickering to Vetis. "Anything?" She asked in a hushed tone, wondering if he could pick up on their enemy's scent of their leader. In the meantime, Evana began coating her scent with that of the nature around her. She rubbed her pelt against nearby trees, and even went so far as to dirty her pelt with the dirt beneath her paws. Most likely, the other three would follow in her example. It wasn't long before Karem Niel's stench was carried down wind to their position. Fortunately for them, there were a few of their members coming right their way. Quietly and hastily, Evana moved to get herself in a better position before low lying bushes and shrubbery to attack whomever was coming their way. As the group came closer into their circle, Evana was the first to leap out of her cover position. She went straight for the brute who looked to be of high position within the group, which happened to be a black and white pelted male, with silver orbs. [Ajax] If he wasn't an enemy, Evana would have liked to think he was handsome. Vicious snarls escape the fae as she used her body like a battering ram and railed right into the brute's side, while chopping down hard into the brute. She had been hoping to catch him off guard and knock him over. Hopefully, her sudden outburst would have distracted his nearby companions into trying to go after her, thus leaving them wide open for Guinevere, Vetis, and Zayev all to strike.

~*Mujihi Pack Member*~

Now that he had been able to eat, Phoenix was feeling much better. He could already feel some of his energy returning, and his stomach had stopped growling in protest. It would have been a great inconvenience if his hunger had given away his position, and thus the trap the Mujihi were preparing to spring. The Karam Neil believed themselves about to ambush to blood-thirsty pack, when in fact it was the other way around. Phoenix was able to maintain his composure easily, but he could already feel the excitement of the fight beginning to grow in his bones. He wasted no time in starting out to his designated location after the order was given, he only hoped the two faes would follow quickly.

As he entered the forest along with his pack-mates, he noticed as the sounds of nature seemed to grow quiet. The animals that normally scurried about froze where they were, hoping to keep hidden in their borrows or in the safety of their nests high above the ground. Phoenix was a master of stealth by no means, but he was agile for his size, and quick. Keeping his head and tail low, he made his way through the maze of trees as quietly as he could toward his destination. Once he had made it he quickly lowered himself to the ground and pushed himself into some of the thicker foliage. The small branches and brambles of the bush tugged and caught in his fur, but he ignored it. He'd become good at that throughout his lift - ignoring the pain. Pushing himself to the edge of the foliage, he sat in wait. The spot he'd chosen was clear in the direction he was facing, so if an enemy approached it would be easy enough to mount an attack, pouncing on his victim.

As it grew darker sounds began to make their way through the forest, his large ears easily picking up the sound of the approaching wolves though the otherwise silent forest. His muscles tensed and he readied himself. His scent shouldn't give him away - afterall, this was their territory. Their scents would be all over the place. So he watched as three wolves made their way onto Mujihi land. Two dark, one light-coated wolves. One was a female, the other two male. It seemed the darker of the two was the Alpha from the way the others acted. So he was their new leader?

Suddenly, the group stopped, the leader seeming to check his surroundings. The odd silence of the forest must be spooking them, as it should. The female stepped forward, objecting to Ajax's obvious determination to attack the rival pack. He should have listened...

Instead, the group continued forward, the largest of the group stumbling through like a bumbling idiot. It was obvious that the lummox was the one he'd heard crunching his way through the forest. He was probably there for muscle. Judging from the way the ivory wolf carried himself he may not be the most graceful, but he knew how to hold his own in a fight. The alpha obviously would, otherwise he wouldn't be alpha. Which left the fae. Not that she wouldn't know how to fight, but she would be the easiest to pick off. Take out the weakest link and you only have two left to watch eachothers backs.

There was some distance between them, which meant he would have to wait for the opportune moment to attack. Too early and they would hear and/or see him coming. Too late and by the time he got there they would already be alerted to his approach. Loading up his hind legs he readied himself to bolt. Waiting...waiting....waiting........there! Evana had been the first to attack, going for the Alpha of the Karam Neil. The other two would be too distracted (he hoped) to notice his attack from behind. They would both be trying to defend their leader, which meant it would leave them open to an attack themselves. Shooting from his cover, Phoenix made a mad dash toward the small group. As he ran his lips pulled back in a snarl, revealing the razor-like teeth he planned to plunge into the hide of these wolves. His icy blue glare was locked on the fae, planning to take her out quick to get her out of the game. Once he'd drawn near he decided there was no need to slow down. Instead, he continued to barrel towards her in hopes to broadside the ebony fae. Lowering his head, he attempted to ram her with his shoulder, throwing his entire bodyweight behind it. For the smaller fae, it would be a big hit if she didn't notice in time. It was too bad she was a member of the Karam Neil, she was a pretty fae, and her black coat caught his attention. Still...he had to do what he had to do.

Location ;; Karam Neil Territory Mood ;; Uneasy & Unsure Company ;; Stranger(Jasper) Thoughts ;; Who is this wolf?

Resting with a soft whine every so often escaping her maw, the full feeding wearing on her weakened muscles. She wasn't used to being so heavy and having to run from the cruel bites of her pack mates. More so from the one she thought would finally show her a chance at favor. In the end he was just as the rest, seeing her as nothing more then a worthless hunk of fur that should of died in place of the pups she had lost to a rogue. Because of these memories and her general lack of awareness, she never noticed she was being watched or tracked by an outsider. If anything she wouldn't of cared at that point either as it was a chance at death. Staring into the pool of water in her laying position, she wondered if she really could continue living the rest of her life as an omega. She loved her beautiful coat, that now was ruined with scattered scars and patches of fur shorter then others.

Her eyes closed as another whimper of pain escaped her, this one not of the physical kind but of an emotional scar that would never truly heal. She missed her family so much right then and there, most of all her brother Jasper. He always knew how to cheer her up back when they were younger, but now she was all alone in a pack she wished to call her own. Fear driving her every move, to appease those around her. All in hopes that some day, some alpha would take pity on her and show her kindness and remove this death sentence of a rank she had earned. A foolish earning it may of been, but all the same she knew she deserved it. As her mind wandered through her past, she failed to notice the large brute appearing near by. It wasn't until he spoke her name, that her head shot up and sleepy eyes searched for whom was speaking towards her.

Her tail tucked and ears flattened back as fear gripped her, her body hugging the ground while she stared over at the strange wolf whom laid like a sphinx before her. Whimpering softly, she slowly stammered out a response as she feared she had finally met her maker. "I...Am Meeka...What do you want with me?" It was then she took in the scent that surrounded the strange brute, noticing it didn't smell like her pack. And yet she felt as if she knew the scent all the same, her head began to tilt as her eyes scanned the male closer. Her ears slowly began to perk up, listening to their surrounds to see if they were alone. "Who are you? Why do you smell like him..." With the questions spinning in her head, she began to mumble to herself more so then pay attention to the male in front of her. "He died...I was so sure he I lost him...It can't be, the humans killed them all. But, he smells so much like him, why?" Her eyes averted as her head perked up even more as she realized how late it had gotten.

Staggering to her feet, she heard her alpha call for the raid to begin and for the wolves to come forth to fight. Her heart suddenly sank, as she feared losing so many to this battle. But she knew Ajax would keep them safe, he just had too as the alpha now. Looking back towards the brute, then away towards the den area she huffed. "I...I should go back, not that they will care much of my absence, I must support my alpha." Shifting her weight, she staggered and fell flat the heavy weight of her stomach still to much for her tired muscles to handle. Between helping chase her meal and running from Ajax her energy was thoroughly spent. A soft wince of a whine escaped her as she felt her stomach churn in anger. She had stuffed herself quite well and far passed her limit. It caused a bit more pain then she was used to and her malnourished body was starting to have trouble digesting the meal with all the movement. Perhaps it was best for her to remain here after all and figure out who this strange brute was for Ajax's sake. After all, he could be a part of Mujihi for all she knew. She must protect her pack, even if it could mean her life being ended there tonight.

Deep within the SHADOWS, I'm the hungry wolf you FEAR
But I can see you're the only EVIL creature here
Before you came we lived in peace
but you have brought us DEATH
I sing my pain up to the MOON, but it's a waste of breath...
                                                            Because I don't speak HUMAN!
