In a recent epidemic the rabies virus has run rampant through the Alexandria Forest, bringing with it the death of many wolves. The great leader of Mujihi sought to put an end to the disease by taking out those whom he was certain where to blame. Aron rallied what strength and numbers the hell hounds had left and attacked Karam Niel! But the proud and larger pack were not so easily defeated, the battle raged on and many more wolves were lost. It would appear that Mujihi was determined to take Karam Niel down even if it brought destruction upon them as well. The alphas of Karam Niel knew but one way to defeat the sadistic pack, and working as a pair they were able to separate the Mujihi Alpha, They drove him down towards the river. No one can forget what happened next.

The battle was bloody, but the odds were not in Aron's favor, he was loosing and with every misstep he was brought closer and closer to the thunder of the water. In a split second the alpha female of Karam Niel made a fatal mistake, and Aron took her life without mercy trying to gain the upper hand. Blinded with rage, and fueled with adrenalin Roan was able to make one last valiant effort, though he knew it would not be without sacrifice. He lunged at Aron, throwing his entire frame into the brute, and together the rapids overtook them. With the loss of their alphas, and so very many others, the packs receded.

It has been just one moon since this epic battle almost destroyed both packs, and while they lick their wounds they must rebuild, and thus our story begins...

Ajax's first order of business that typical morning was to seek out Willow, his most current lover. After having a rather raunchy dream last night, he was itching for some private time with his lady. The brute made a beeline from Karam Niel's main den towards the smaller alpha den, where Willow, as the newly appointed alpha, slept. He stood before the entrance and scooted his nose along the ground to inhale her scent. Such a delectable smell was like ambrosia to him--his fur tingled and he couldn't help but emit some sort of lustful cross of a grunt and a whine.

Ajax expected Willow to come right out of her den and appease his wishes, but she did not. He waited a few good long moments before he started to get rowdy. Impatiently, he pawed at the ground, digging his claws into the earth quite deeply, and yowled restlessly. Not once did he stop to consider that, maybe, Willow wanted to sleep in that day. No, all Ajax cared about was fulfilling his hormonal desires.

The warrior was about to ignore all respectful customs and barge into the alpha den for his fix, when Twig, a brute who was practically his brother, came over to see why Ajax was in such distress. Ajax grunted at Twig unhappily, feeling a little faeblocked with his presence, but otherwise was not particularly mad at the fellow warrior. After all, if Ajax really wanted Twig to leave, all he had to do was ask. Twig was a very obedient lackey of his.

"I just want to see Willow, Twig." He tried to assure the massive brute that everything was alright. The last thing anyone needed was Twig trying to "fix" something on his own... "I think she is still sleeping. Do you want to sit with me and wait for her to come out?"

Being a warrior in Mujihi was a busy job, at least recently it was. As a warrior you are the brute force of the pack, there to protect and there as strength. In the last few weeks Zayev has been productive as the pack has had several battles with the neighboring mutts known as Karam Neil. Zayev didn’t like the mongrels, he honestly wished they would just go away. They were like fleas, small and useless but annoying as hell. In the last week or so, everything had been quite quiet. That was because rabies had flooded the packs once more. It had been a disease that had haunted Mujihi and Karam Neil for years. It always showed up at the most inconvenient times. This time it took a toll and took out some vital members of the packs. Since it struck, the packs had not interacted and well, Zayev was able to take a long needed break from his duties. It was unusual for him to be up so early, but after sleeping in a den for almost an entire day and night – his body was itching to move.

Trotting out of the den site, and headed towards the border line that divided Mujihi from Karam Neil, Zayev put his nose to work. He was searching for an early morning meal. However, it was not for himself. He would be feeding his sister Zelie but he couldn’t come baring food for just one fae and not the alpha. Therefore he’d bring Evana prey as well. Coming close to the border, Zayev stopped dead. His yellow eyes narrowed and scanned the area for any intruders. However, there was no one but him. He huffed and then continued to search for something to eat. The first hare he found was easy, he was quick to catch it and snap its throat clean. He snorted and then carried the dead hare in his maw, the white hue of his fur stained blood red to almost match his red hue. As he continued along, he caught sight of another decent sized hare.

Dropping the one on the ground gently, he rushed forward. He ran right into the border of Karam Neil and didn’t even care. He rushed the hare, and the bloody thing took off. He growled in frustration and chased it until he tumbled onto the ground with the hare in his mouth. In anger, his jaws worked almost with hesitation. He severed the head of the hare from the body and tossed the head aside. He snarled and panted, his eyes narrowed and his tail raised in almost a dominant manner. He huffed and picked the carcass up by its paw and carried it back towards the full hare he caught previously.

Heading back towards the densite, his first stop was were his sister was slumbering. “Here you go” He grunted and tossed the hare with no head towards her. He gave her a wicked grin and then a wink as he continued his way through the densite. He growled lowly as he approached the Alphas den. He alerted the female and dropped the dead hare at the mouth of her den and spoke in a low tone “Brought that back for you, I checked the borders while I was out there. Doing a scouts job” He spat and looked away “No sign of those mutts around at all” He spoke in almost a happy tone, maybe the Karam Neil wolves have learnt their lesson and wouldn’t be sticking around much longer.

Nevaeh was definitely a morning person. She loved to be up to listen to the birds sing and loved to see the sunrise. Being up early never affected her mood like it did to some. The young fae would be up and hyper as ever. However, she learned multiple times not to disturb anyone else. So, in order to keep herself occupied until her pack members were up and roaming about – she would go out and scout close to the den site. In the recent weeks, she was allowed to go, but needed to return immediately if there was any scent of Mujihi. The neighboring wolf pack was vicious and would likely kill her in an instant. She didn’t understand how a group of wolves could live the way they did. They were so mean, ruthless and just cold hearted. The packs had been at war for a long time, but recently the battles between them back increased but that was not the only threat lurking in the forest. Rabies had spread and wiped out a majority of the pack. Nevaeh had been scared when it happened. It seemed like Rabies constantly targeted the packs and well – she had seen it take away someone that she loved and that cared for her when she was so young. The last few days however, it seems as if the rabies was a fluke and just only got a few members. They were lucky it didn’t wipe out the entire pack.

Going about her normal daily routine, she had suddenly been stopped by the rustling sound and a strange scent. Hiding, her lanky body allowing her to be silent, she ducked near some bushes and watched with curious eyes. Before her was a large red furred brute, who was chasing a hare. Her eyes locked onto him, and his scent gave away that he was not of this pack. She almost hightailed it out of there, to warn her pack members however it seemed he did not notice her. She watched him chase the rabbit and then finally take a hold of it. He mauled the rabbit and tossed its head towards her. She watched it carefully and then turned her eyes towards the brute whom was leaving the territory. Finally breathing, she moved out of the bush and stared at the rabbit head for a very long time. If anyone were to know Nevaeh, she was a silly and rather special individual. She didn’t really know the things from right or wrong yet. Taking the rabbit by the ear, she proceeded to skip towards the den site. Tail wagging high, ears forward and a goofy smile on her face while the severed head of a rabbit hung from her mouth.

Humming to her own tune, she was quick to find her biological brother Ajax and her ‘adopted’ brother Twig. She approached them and tossed the head at AjaxI brought you guys a gifttt!” She howled and pranced around the two all proud and joyful. “Isn’t it great? I watched some dude rip it off the body. I wanna know how to do that!” She growled and mocked the brute from Mujihi. “Will you teach me Twig?” She turned her eyes towards the large brute, a hopeful glare in them. Twig was not related to Ajax or Nevaeh what so ever. But the three of them had gotten pretty close during their puphood. Nevaeh thought Twig to be a brother.

Get in my way, all you can do is pray...Stand in firm, lie down and learn...I am like no other you will know...Soon you will see, why you will never be free...

Sleep had claimed the white wolf for the night as well as the morning, knowing all to well she had a big day ahead of her. It was time to clean out the sitter den and begin to get things ready for the up coming season. The war had finished, new time would be a welcomed thing for this wolf. For as she sat by watching, unable to do more then protect their home from any wolf who dared to come to close. Not many ever made it that far and the few that did, were so weak from battle they were almost dead anyways. So much so, even this poorly trained sitter could finish them off completely. Though the howls of begging brutes and fae's haunted her now in her sleep, it reminding her of her past she wanted to get away from. Her mother's begging voice to end it before the rabies took her completely, screamed in her mind as her body twitched with fear and anger. A whimper of pain escaping Layla as she shot up in a panicked standing position, a low growl escaping her.

Looking around the area, she noted she was still in her new home and safe from that horrid disease. With her trembling disappearing quickly, she sat on her haunches and licked her maw clean. Once she felt clean enough, she got to her feet and moved out of the den long enough to see Zayev tossing something in the direction of the alpha. Tilting her head with a bit of confusion, her stomach growled slightly. The scent of the once living hare hitting her nose and she realized she had yet to eaten recently. Discontent began to grow inside of her, as her wonder of her mate's location became more of a notable one. After all, to her, he was now to be her provider of sorts. And this meant if she hungered and the pack was not on a hunt, he should bring them a meal to share. Even a small one like a hare would be acceptable, for it meant he thought a head about her for once. More so because he always seemed to show more fondness to other's faes then her.

A huff of anger left Layla as she stretched and turned around to head to the near by sitter's den. Work needed to be done and she could not wait idly around for Stannis to show his face. It wasn't like she was completely lost with out him, but to ask such simple task wouldn't be to much, would it? Shaking her head clear of the thoughts of food, she focused on her task a head. Knowing it needed to be dealt with all the same and hunger would not be an excuse either. Looking the outer section of the den, she snorted at it's condition almost a shamed to even look at it. Her poor den had suffered in her absence and now she had to try and push past her disgust to fix what she had done. Getting straight to work, she dug away at the plants that grew to close to the entrance, taking in the scents of everything. She was searching for signs of unwanted life in the whole, it not going to end well if anything dared to take refuge here.

Working hard, the entrance was easily cleared away and it was now time to head into the den and change out the bedding and clear away any dead carcasses. Or in Layla's small hope, kill any intruders and make a meal out of them. Since she had yet to notice if Stannis was around or not, it meant she was left to her own devices. It shouldn't be to hard, it wasn't like she didn't have some basic training after all. Though at the same time, she knew her bark was still far worse then her bite compared to most wolves in this pack. It was something that needed to be fixed and soon if pups were really on the way. Perhaps after she finished with this, she would force Stannis to up her training. Time wasn't going to wait for them and she needed to grow in strength and skills sooner rather then later.

                                                        • Before many of Karam Niel’s wolves have even begun to stir, Twig was already lumbering about minding his own business, his enormous paws tripping over many poor souls and earning many grunts of protest. The giant’s nest was easily located within the main den, because it was littered with rocks of varying sizes. As usual, Twig’s morning was spent on quality time with his rock friends. He laid down and sniffed each of them, giving each of them an affectionate lick as a morning greeting. At first this strange habit of his was met with raised brows, but the wolves of Karam Niel have long since accepted that Twig was not going to change no matter what they said. Or maybe they’ve just given up on trying to reason with the simple minded brute.

Twig’s heavy paws took him towards the entrance of the main den, where he made a beeline for a particularly lush patch of flowers. He shoved his muzzle into the dirt and roughly yanked out the whole flower patch, roots and all. A bit of dirt got into his nostrils and he sneezed loud enough for the whole pack to hear, spraying snot everywhere and scattering his flowers on the ground. Undeterred, he bent to pick up his precious flowers as delicately as he could with his overly wide muzzle.

Twig was initially going to take his flowers back to his den to beautify his rock friends, but the sight of Ajax pawing impatiently in front of the alpha’s den made him stop and take a detour. With his flowers still dangling limply from mouth, he plopped his bum down heavily beside Ajax, raising a small cloud of dust when his heavy form sat down. He tilted his head to one side and regarded Ajax with a quizzical expression, wordlessly asking if he was okay. He towered over the other brute, making even a large male like Ajax look like a yearling in comparison. ”Twig wait! Twig make Ajax happy.” He reached over and opened his jaw, dropping his flowers onto Ajax’s head along with a generous glob of saliva. With his tongue lolling out of one side, he regarded Ajax with a cheerful expression like a pup waiting to be praised.

Before Ajax could explode on him for ruining his perfectly groomed pelt, Neveah showed up with something dangling from her jaws. Twig’s eyes were fixed on the rabbit’s head, his expression unreadable. For a few long moments, it wasn’t clear whether he was disgusted or pleased with the gift. That mystery was solved when he pounced onto the rabbit head with a joyful bark. His teeth closed around the rabbit’s ears and he chewed lightly while shaking his head from side to side, uttering happy little yips as he did so. His long tail, thick as a tree branch, wagged madly from side to side and repeatedly slapped Neveah and Ajax in the face, covering them with showers of dirt. He doesn't seem to be aware that he had completely ignored Neveah's question.

As to be expected, Twig agreed to wait with Ajax until Willow woke up. The brute did anything Ajax asked, from dangerous things such as raiding bumble bee hives, to menial tasks such as fetching sticks. He was the epitome of an obedient dog. Ajax did not expect anything less than Twig's unwavering loyalty to sit by Ajax's side until Miss Alphaess awoke.

Of course, he could have gone without the pleasure of having partially crushed flowers and thick slobber dumped onto his head. Twig apparently did not understand that Ajax fancied Willow, and as such, wanted to look his best for her at all times. In Twig's defense, he didn't understand much of anything... but that didn't mean that Ajax wouldn't get mad at him nonetheless. "Twig, what the ********] He exclaimed, instantly backing away from the behemoth and giving his body a vigorous shake. Not bothering to explain to Twig why he was upset--Twig probably wouldn't be able to comprehend it anyway--Ajax quickly got to work licking his paws and wiping his face clean.

It was as if the gods themselves were trying to further lessen his chances of getting any tail that day, as his own sister came prancing up to the pair. Ajax had let out a groan almost as soon as he had scented the fae approaching, and tried to ignore her in the hopes that she would move on to another, more interested wolf. But she came to him and Twig anyways, depositing a disembodied rabbit head at their paws. Whatever sexual drive that Ajax previously possessed was quickly dashed upon seeing such a grotesque thing. He turned up his nose snootily and got back to work grooming himself.

Twig, on the other hand, seemed quite delighted in Nevaeh's gift, as he started to gleefully play with it. The bumbling dunce managed to kick up more dirt as he played, which made Ajax, once again, scoot away from him in irritation as he tried to salvage his good looks in preparation for seeing his dear Willow.

"It's ******** disgusting." His voice was harsh, annoyed, and unloving as he spoke to Nevaeh--a tone that one would think he would not ever use with his last blood relative. "Why don't you go ask the freak who did it to teach you?" Ajax seemed clueless that the brute Nevaeh was talking about was a Mujihi wolf. Or, maybe he just simply didn't care.

Mujihi's Alpha Female

Patience.. That is what was needed after the last battle that had taken Mujihi's previous alpha, Aron. Evana was simply awaiting the time that she would be able to avenge his death. Surely, it would be foolish to go after Karem Niel any time soon. Mujihi was greatly outnumbered and still licking their wounds from the fight a month prior. Still, there is not a day that passes that the thought of taking out Karem Niel doesn't cross the Alphaess' mind.

Being in charge was still a bit new for the fae. Aron and Evana had never been officially deemed as a mated pair. For a while, Aron had been courting Evana and majority of the pack knew it. However, Evana's slightly stubborn personality she never actually accepted, nor denied, his love. Instead, she'd keep him at a close enough distance that if she needed to, she could turn him down or if she wanted, she'd accept the brute. The fate of their relationship used to lay in her paws. A part of her had felt as though she wasn't ready for that sort of commitment. Not to mention, Aron's whore-ish ways wasn't something that she could see herself dealing with on a daily basis as his mate. In the past, she had let her twinge of jealousy get the best of her and killed one of his previous pup-bearers, while she was still carrying a litter. Those two reasons were why she remained at his side as his beta, and as his right hand-wolf when it came to killing.

When Aron died, however, Evana immediately took the place as Mujihi's newest alpha. In her eyes, it was only right. Despite her never actually taking the brute as a mate, she did grow fond of his presence and one would even go so far as to say that she cared for him.. loved him, even. His death weighed heavily on her mind, even though she never let the rest of the pack know of this important detail. She'd always been one to keep a steady, calm composure and it was important to not let anyone see you weak, especially in a pack like Mujihi. Either way losing Aron is what fuels the fire in her heart to carry on his legacy. He'd wanted to take out Karem Niel and she'd fight to her last breath to carry out that dream of his. It was, after all, the least she owed him..

The strong scent of rabbit blood was thickly coated in the air. Evana lay on her stomach, resting her head between her paws as she peered outside from the mouth of her alpha den. It wasn't long before Zayev announced himself. The alphaess rose from her position and exited her den to meet the warrior. The was a freshly killed rabbit laying on the ground, for her. This was a bit of an odd situation, for her. It wasn't always often that other wolves would bother to bring her food, however once she began Mujihi's alphas the food baring became more common. The behavior was still something that Evana wasn't exactly fully used to, but allowed to go on. The blue-eyed fae listened to what the brute had to say before speaking, herself. "A scout's job.." She repeated lowly. "Zayev, if you'd like to have a rank change to that of a scout, we can have that arranged." If it wasn't for Evana's blank expression and steady tone, he'd probably be able to tell that she was poking fun at him. Or at least, it was a weak attempt. She had never been really any good at those things. She was always to serious and all about business. "Perhaps they are still gathering themselves after losing both their alphas," She continued, going on to address the rest of his previous statement. "That, and they usually keep to themselves. I believe our presence is enough to keep them away from our territory as much as possible. It won't be long until it all belongs to Mujihi, however." Evana rolled her shoulders before glancing around the densite. It seemed that the other wolves were finally stirring from their slumber and starting to get a move on for the day. Hopefully one of the hunters, or anyone rather, would be bold enough to assemble a hunt without her actually having to tell them to do so. One rabbit wasn't going to hold her for along, although she did appreciate the effort.. "Thank you for the snack.. Did you bother getting something for yourself?" She asked, genuinely curious. In her mind, his answer would determine a few things..

The crisp air of the early morning was fresh as it's early breeze ruffled through the shaggy ivory coat of the sleeping female, the sun's rays had begun to peek over the rolling hillsides as eyelids had slide back to reveal golden irises that lazily gazed about. An annoyed growl of having to awake from her slumber emitted from her chest while pulling her large frame to her paws, as it soon gave-way to a long and satisfying stretch and ended with a brief shake of her snowy pelt. After waking herself up the huntress moved away from her sleeping spot and through the den-site catching sight and studying each wolf that had passed her, their numbers were smaller and suffered a huge blow after the rabies outbreak, the thought caused a huff of annoyance to leave her chest as the memories of her previous pack dying to such a thing crossed her mind but, she left the thought within her mind. As she wandered she caught sight of Zayev bringing back what looked like to be a hare to the alpha, her golden irises watched him a moment as she chuckled softly to herself.

As the female walked she soon spotted Layla cleaning out the sitters den, which it very well needed after all the time that had passed but, Guinevere soon was back to more important matters as it had seemed the pack was awaking and Evana was always stirring from her slumber and one simple rabbit wouldn't feed the pack nor hold over their alpha. "Alright lazy mutts...let's get a move on.." her words were a whisper to herself as she watched the groggy animals move about before she finally came to the middle of the den-site allowing her head to tilt back slightly before giving a short and light howl to start a hunt as well as calling any of those who wished to go to come out and join in on it. After her notice was given she soon came to sit silently as her ivory tassal came to coil itself around her paws, she had remained scanning over each wolf as she watched their actions, movements, and interactions as it almost made her wonder where her brother was but, she figured he was either still sleeping or out doing something but, she would attend to that later for now she waited to get this show on the road.

Guinevere could feel herself getting impatient as she shifted her weight between her two paws. She then allowed her mind to wander about what would be out and about in the early morning, with the rabies virus going out and venturing had almost terrified alot of the wolves, they wished not leave their sanctum in fear of contracting the virus.

Behind The Paws: Bleh, intro posts suck, figured this would be a good way to give anyone who needed something to do a thing to do!

Sleep had evaded the young cream colored scout for yet another night. It wasn’t for lack of
effort though. It had been a whole moon since the war between Karam Neil and Mujihi and their
newly appointed alpha had warned the pack that without rest, their wounds would take longer
to heal. However, for the last few nights, the amber eyed fae would lie in the grass beside the
main den – purposely avoiding many of her ill-tempered pack-mates and attempt to give into her weariness,
but the moment that she would, her own mind would draw her back into a fit of anxiety and she would be
awake and alert once more. It was becoming a nightly ritual that Solarai was becoming frustrated
with. It had been several years since her family had been destroyed by the Taure fire, and yet, every
time the scout thought that she was over the trauma it caused her, the night-terrors would make it just
as real as the day it happened.

Solarai had been up well before the sun had enveloped the valley in its fiery hue. The fae had been
out of the camp well before she heard anyone else stir from their dens. She had told herself she was
awake because she needed to patrol the boarders – all Mujihi needed was an invasion so soon after
the war. There were still several festering wounds that were taking their time to heal on the scout,
and although she preferred to ignore their presence, she knew that she would be far less efficient
if another territory war were to break out. In truth, however, Solarai just needed an excuse to roam
and not have to deal with the dreams that terrorized her each night.

It was well into the morning when the scout took a break in her patrol to take a drink from the nearby
creek. As she lapped the water, she felt relieved when the aching in her smoke-singed throat ceased.
That relief only lasted a moment before her ear flicked towards the sound of heavy paw steps, pounding
through the grass as if chasing something. The scout dropped to her belly instantly as she peered
through the tall grass that surrounded her. Her amber eyes followed the sight of a russet male with
red-stained jowls chasing some form of small prey through their territory. Zayev... Solarai had recognized
his musty scent and heavy footfalls almost instantly. He was one of the few wolves in her pack that
she tried to steer clear from. The fae was far from scared of the brute, but disliked his overzealously
                    brutal personality highly.

Something about the sight of the warrior heading in the direction of the Karem Neil boarder was unsettling
to the cream colored fae. Almost instinctively, Solarai followed him – making sure to stay upwind,
her slender body, slinking low to the ground as she tracked his movements. She was almost at the
boarder when she watched Zayev cross over into the other territory without a second thought. Her
eyes narrowed but she remained silent and stone-still. That foolish brute would be the cause of the
                    damned war!
A part of her wanted to retch at the sight of him shred the rabbit without a second thought,
and just toss the head aside and stalk back into their territory. The Neanderthal had grotesquely disfigured
a perfectly good piece of prey and had just left the evidence and his scent splattered all over the enemy
pack’s territory! It was uncharacteristic of the mute fae, but she wanted to snarl in disgust but the
sound just wouldn’t escape her previously burned throat.

Solarai had stayed in her hiding spot until well after Zaeyv had departed back in the direction of camp.
It was only by happenstance that from her spot, she managed to catch a glimpse of an ash colored
fae, who seemed to be observing the bloodthirsty warrior, much like herself. That mouse-brained brute
was seen by the other pack!
The scout was infuriated at this point. Mujihi would be drawn into another
war all because this foolish decided to cross territories over a single rabbit! When the fae watched
the Karem Neil Scout pick up the rabbit’s head and take it back to camp, Solarai rose from her hiding
spot and take her leave back towards camp after Zaeyv.

When she arrived back in camp, she saw the warrior speaking with the Alphaess. She snorted softly
to herself – he probably didn’t even mention how he managed to obtain those rabbits… The scout
kept herself within earshot of their conversation, but out of the way as she sat back on her haunches
and gently licked her healing leg wound. She exchanged a mere glance in Zayev’s direction, her eyes
narrowing in a knowing gesture before continuing to clean her wound.

Kavindra's day tended to start of earlier then some of the pack, as was her duty as a guard to get a good early start in the day in order to make sure everything was in order and safety. Today, was a prime example of that, the timber colored fae stood within the deep ends of the forest as close as you could get to the border, she snorted lightly at the faint and weak scent of Mujihi as it was clear something or someone of Mujihi scent had briefly came upon the land but, if it was one of actual Mujihi's mutts or just a passerby she could not tell. Heavy paw-steps soon moved off to the side as they sunk in the earth beneath her but, remained as ever silent as she could in order to still keep a decent look-out in case it very well had been an intruder. After some moments passed and nothing had seemed out of the ordinary, Kavindra slowly turned her frame away from the border and began to slink back towards familiar territory but, once back had stopped by the river for an early morning drink.

As her pink tongue brought the cooling liquid up to her to her maw and rushed down her throat as her silver pools continued to watch the scenery around her. Once she was finished the fae went back towards home, as she knew a scent of a Mujihi on their land was something that would need to be reported to Willow . The sight of awakening wolves was seen all about as the female arrived, some still slumbering and others getting on with their duties for the day while some were a mix in between the options. Kavindra continued moving forward towards the alpha den only to stop at the gathering crowd whom she quickly spotted Ajax whom she guessed was the first to arrive, he had trouble keeping his paws to himself when it came to Willow, and not to far from him she had spotted Neveah and Twig who were discussing something over a dead animal of some type.

"Well...seems there's a little gathering party.." her voice was calm as she gazed at each of them, then back to the alpha's den who she guessed was still asleep. Kavindra wasn't one for crowds and so she figured she would find the female later "When you are all finished with what you are waiting for...just let Willow know I have something to report...Good Luck Ajax" she gave a teasing chuckle before moving past the three and to the other-side of the den-site, she silently gazed back over at the siblings from time to time, remembering when it was she had found them being dropped off and brought them back to the home they were in now..and the strange wolf whom had left them but, still wished to know of their existence, the female huffed lightly as she watched the scenes around her and awaited to report her duty.

Curled up next to her brother laid a wolf that was lost in her dreams and thoughts. The two wolves, Zayev and Zelie were never far from each other for very long. Lately since the fighting and rabies break out has settled down they wolves have been side by side and causing havoc as normal. The female wolf’s ears flicked listening to the sound of paws moving away from the space around her, she was sure that her brother was leaving. Zayev as much as Zelie longed to move and since they had been coped up in the den with the rest of the drooling morons that she called a pack, he was sure to get moving sooner rather than later.

Zelie doesn’t hate her pack per say she simply adores her brother and would kill any other wolf that she felt the need to – included the twit of an wolf they called their alpha. Granted NO OTHER WOLF aside from her brother knew the level of hate that ran through her veins for Evana. (meaning - no one else knows at all they all think she likes her) She counted to five before lifted her head from the earth and she blinked twice before her body told her back to sleep. She obeyed and closed her eyes to catch another round of sleep. It was rather short lived as the scent of blood woke her up quickly. Her tail thumped on the den floor as she spotted her brother with a headless hare in his jaws for her. He dropped it winked at her and was off again. She snarled at the wolf next to her who tried to take her hare. She snapped her fangs around the belly of the rabbit before setting her paw on the lifeless body before making quick work of the rabbit.

Leaving a small pile of bones and a bloody paw track she licked her muzzle clean before padding toward the entrance. Her golden hues flicked to spot her brother chatting with the alpha. Had it been any other wolf that hated the ‘fearless’ leader their hackles would have been raised and a snarl leaving her throat, however Zelie was quite the actress as well as having a strong will to survive. She knew better that to make any hint of distaste toward an alpha. A white shape moved and she rolled her eyes seeing a sitter – a useless rank if you asked her but no one ever did and it was just another thing she kept to herself. Padding over toward the alpha and her brother she wagged her tail a touch and lowered her head in respect toward Evana. “Brother. Alpha.” She said simply and noted the alpha’s question toward her brother; a slight smirk would have been on her blacken lips if she had the ability.

’Well brother dear – it seems you would like to lick some horrid tail this morning. Oh how I hope you have a delightful idea in mind.’ she thought to herself but didn’t speak, at least until she heard the howl of her fellow hunter. She rolled her eyes and shook her head, “Pipe down Guinevere. It is rude to waken sleeping wolves that you want helping you to hunt.” She said in a low tone, out of the two of them it was pretty clear the better hunter was Zelie. She also didn’t just push her plans onto the whole pack, she brought up a hunt the night before in warning but no Guinevere seemed to think that they would be bright eyed and bushy tailed to follow her into a hunt – and if they did Zelie would not be joining that shitstorm.

Out of the corner of her eye she spotted another whiteish form. This one was giving her brother the evil eye and it caused quite a fire into her belly. Zelie outwardly made no move or hint of the building rage in her belly. Her golden hues were simply locked onto the scout’s weak point, her throat. ’b***h better quit it before she wont be able to heal from her next wound. she thought darkly another wicked smirk would have been playing on her black lips but again wolves did not have such a freedom of movement and even if they had, her iron tight will would have kept her face even and soft.

out of character; yep shitty layout is shitty - but deal with it. :D

Though the war had come to a halt, it wasn't over. These wolves wouldn't stop fighting until only one pack was left, and that was fine with him. Infact, he wouldn't mind if every other wolf in this forest ripped eachother apart. It was what he was used to, and the scars from the war only added to the others that told the story of his life. The only reason he'd joined this pack was because he knew he had to choose one side or the other if he didn't want to be torn apart, Aaron was just the first one to approach him. He could care less that the pack's leader was gone. If Evana wanted to do it herself, let her. However...if he could move up in the pack he wouldn't have to take orders from anyone, which was what he longed for. To be free, not to have to worry about anyone but himself, not to have to take orders from some b***h in heat. He snorted at the thought.

And these stupid mutts went and started a war over what they thought was some plague or something caused by the other pack. He doubted that was the real reason, Aaron was probably looking for any excuse to start a war with Karam Neil, but Phoenix knew the real reason behind the crazy deaths. It was something the humans called "rabies." He'd seen it a few times before, dogs would go crazy, turn on anyone, bit them...sometimes even humans died from it if they couldn't get the vaccine in time. One of the reasons Phoenix hadn't been infected was because they gave him the vaccine every year. Of course, he didn't tell Aaron that. If he wanted to tear the other pack apart who was he to stop him? Besides, it presented this perfect opportunity. And the more wolves died from the disease the better off he'd be. Phoenix didn't have any friends, and he didn't plan on making any.

Phoenix usually did everything by himself. He slept by himself, ate by himself, and even hunted on his own sometimes. He wasn't the best at tracking, but he was good at killing. The only reason he wasn't made a warrior before was because he hadn't been in the pack long enough to earn a title. Aside from just adding numbers it was the main reason he was recruited into Mujihi. Some of the others had thought he was weird, since most of them seemed to do much of their daily tasks in pairs, at least. But he was the one still alive today...most of them were gone.

Waking from another restless night (it's hard to get sleep when you believe everyone is there to kill you), Phoenix wandered out to where several other members of the pack had gathered. Smelling the slight scent of blood in the air, most of it draining from the animal as it was carried back to the den, Phoenix glanced at the small carcass laying at Evana's feet. With a shake of his head the brute started off towards the forest. "Pathetic..." he muttered to no one in particular. Always trying to impress the Alphas. He hated the concept, but understood it. He understood why Aaron had chosen Evana to be the Alphaess. She was strong, and wouldn't go down without a fight. That didn't mean he was going to grovel.

Wandering out into the forest, the brute began searching for a morning meal. He hated depending on others to find food for him, and he wasn't a pretty fae, so he wouldn't have idiots tripping over themselves to bring him anything. He'd rather depend on himself, and that's what he was going to do.

As the sounds from the den drew quieter he began travelling upwind. He knew most other animals would stay away from the dwelling place of wolves, and if he wanted to sneak up on anything he knew he couldn't let them catch his scent. So he wandered, boldly close to the Karam Neil border. He wasn't dumb enough to cross it, he didn't want to give them a reason to hunt him down while he was alone. Not that he was afraid, there's a difference between being afraid and being smart. He welcomed a fight, not his own massacre. Now, if he could just find something to eat.

Movement beside Selix alerted him to the rousal of his sister Guievere and he huffed lightly, grumbling along with her for the fact that their day was starting so early. Whilst his white counterpart rose, the grumpy male shifts his body weight and flopped over onto his side, his eyes groggily opening to stare blanky at nothing in particular. Deep gold hues shifted towards movement as his nose twitched towards the scent of blood, shifting his head he noticed Zayev dropping off a headless rabbit for his sister Zelie he noticed as the warrior made his way over to Evana's den and his eyes narrowed slightly. ’Trying to weasel your way into our Alphaess’ heart? Ha! As if anyone could be favorable of you’ he snickered internally before his attention turned towards his sister. Guinevere was howling for a hunt and Selix sighed, knowing he wouldn’t hear the end of it if he didn’t tag along. Besides, what better way than to spend his morning than with his sister and possibly his favorite fae Zelie if she joined along?

Heaving himself upwards towards the sky, the guard stretched himself outwards, lowering his front half and alternating weight between his paws as he yawned. Shaking out his chocolate and black pelt, his tongue swiped over his maw before his ears flicked in the direction of Zel. He frowned a moment as she spoke, naturally his maw raising as she spoke to his sister in such a negative manner. ”Relax Zelie. You’re just cranky because you haven’t eaten yet. I agree with the idea of a hunt, however. I hardly doubt two measly rabbits could feed the entire pack” he shot back, alluding to her brother’s attempt to be in good favor with the alphaess. Padding over to his sister, he stood tall and proud, naturally dominant over her just because he could be. She could try and battle him on this all she wanted, but it was just his nature. Brushing against his sister, he glanced at her before waiting to see if anyone else would be joining them.

Out of the corner of his eye, a flash of red and brown was finding its way at a quick pace in his general direction. Snarling as a warning, Selix turned towards Zayev, preparing to dislodge his impact. It was clear that the guard would yet again be caught up in the warrior's bad temper, and he frankly didnt care, he rather enjoyed pissing the brute off. He deserved it.

Zayev didn’t care if he looked ‘pathetic’ or not while giving the Alpha a rabbit. At least he was feeding the most important member. He didn’t do it to lick the tail of the alpha, but rather out of respect and some dignity. He knew that the hunters have not hunted, and he knew the last few days have been tiresome. After the battle with Karam Neil that resulted in the death of Aron, Evana had a lot to step up into. She would be the alphaess, and Mujihi hadn’t had an Alphaess in a long while. It would be different to adjust too, but a simple gesture as getting a rabbit was not ‘Pathetic’. It was showing respect and loyalty to the new leader. Zayev had no intentions currently of chasing after the female for a mateship position, that would cause to much stress on Evana. She had lost her ‘mate’ in a way. It was obvious that Aron and Evana had been courting. Right now, she needed just the support from the pack and nothing more. She would let the brutes of Mujihi know when she was ready to start looking. When Zayev spat about doing a scouts job, Evana sarcastically said he could change ranks. He chuckled and gave her a playful wink “Then you’d lose one of your most valuable warriors darling” He gave a cunning smirk and then turned his eyes towards the pack members slowly waking up and making their way around the den site. His ears turned towards Evana as she spoke about Karam Neil and he nodded slightly. “I just can’t wait until we don’t need to worry about those fleas.” He grumbled and then shook his fur before turning his yellow eyes when she thanked him “No worries, seeing as the hunters haven’t gotten about a hunting session, at least that will do you over until they do.” He paused and shook his head to her question. “No. I’m fine however” He gave a short quick answer. His eyes turned towards the first approaching wolf.

Guinevere seemed eager to assemble a hunting party and Zayev cocked a brow. She must have read the expressions on everyones faces. A hunt was much needed. The pack had time to heal from their wounds – now would be the perfect moment to bring down a nice, healthy buck and feed for a few days. Zayev however wasn’t much of a hunter, and really disliked hunting. If their numbers were down, he would join – but if there was a enough he would hang back with the remainder of the pack.
The next to join them was Zayev’s lovely sister Zelie. He nodded towards her and noted her eyes travel towards a white wolf known as Solari. He locked eyes with the fae, who seemed to be giving him a glare. His eyes narrowed and he slowly bared his fangs in a slight warning. There would be no words needed for the threat, it was a simple glare that said ‘What the hell are you looking at’. He snorted and rolled his eyes before His eyes caught sight of Phoenix but luckily his ears didn’t catch what the brute had muttered. He watched him leave the den site without a word.

Rolling his shoulders, his eyes turned towards Evana for split second until Selix approached and spoke towards his sister and then mocked him for the two rabbits. Zayev’s golden eyes narrowed once more. He was already fueled by Solari’s deadly glare and he wasn’t in the greatest of moods anyway. As the brute moved towards Guinevere, Zayev watched closely. He turned his eyes towards his sister and snorted with an eye roll. Lately, Selix had been getting to close to Zelie for Zayev’s liking. As Selix started to turn his body towards Zayev, Zayev lunged forward. His powerful paws drove him quickly towards Selix. The brute had let out a warning snarl, just as Zayev was in reach. However, it was far too late for Zayev to skid to a halt. He powered his way into the brute. Using all his weight and strength Zayev was quick to take advantage of Selix unpreparedness. With struggle, Zayev finally managed to pin the brute on his back below him. His teeth fully bared, a sinister snarl erupted from his throat. Zayev’s tail was held high and his eyes dancing with danger. He could easily kill Selix right there, his throat so exposed but he wasn’t about to murder his own packmate – althought tempted. He snarled and snapped at his muzzle but purposely missed. He didn’t want to get to bloody. “Listen here brute. Keep your comments to yourself, and your paws away from my sister.” He said loud and clear. Leaning closer to the brutes ear he whispered for only him to here. “You go near her, at all and I’ll make sure you never produce any more offspring then those weaklings that you had to dispose of..” He gave a sly smirk.
