"Aye. At least now I can keep my promise to my late wife." His yellow eyes was following Yiva and noticed her reaction. But it seems like she was alright for now and continued on gazing at those attending the festival. If push really come to shove then he would gladly take in as his daughter's escort. A very familiar scent had soon caught his attention as he searched for the source. So Aramis is here as well. He has a rather sharp memory and remembers his solders no matter their rankings.

"Ah how is King Raine doing these days? I haven't seen him in quite some time. The last news I've heard of him was he had married a rare beautiful gem?" Which is true he was busy sulking in the shadows in loss of his former wife. Faolan had tucked a strand of his dark from his eyes when he had turned his attention back to the general.

Raine smiled faintly as the girl Dita rattled off her questions about what he could do as a vampire and was then scolded by the prince. "It's an honor to have you all here, young lords," his eyes locked with Dita, flashing the young girl a smile that showed off his fangs, "Indeed I do drink blood. I cannot, however, turn into a bat though the beasts of the night do obey my commands," Quite the opposite of being annoyed by her questions, he rather enjoyed it in fact. It was rather pleasing to enlighten curious minds about his nature rather than to be reviled as a monster because of it.

When the princess handed him the letter, he accepted it and placed it into his pocket. "Hmm very well. Though that puts us short by one sovereign as the king of Moon Crest has already arrived. I pray your parents won't be too far behind," When the princess formed the rose and dome of adamant, he raised an eyebrow. It was a curious ability and a curious gift, one he accepted graciously. "Well I thank you for the gift. I'm sure we can find a lovely place for it in the palace," the king said as he admired the construct. In truth he wasn't normally one for such flashy items but he also wasn't one to turn down a gift either.

"We are all looking forward to your talents as an artist young Layla," He nodded politely. Once again his eyes trailed over to Dita, he was still uncertain about the girl but based on her interactions with the prince it would seem that she was a close servant or maybe even friend. Tearing his gaze away from the girl he smiled broadly at the trio. "Now if you'll all excuse me, I must take my leave and await my own family. No doubt my daughter gave the servants trouble with how fussy she can be," he chuckled to himself at the thought. Though some might consider it a nuisance, he rather adored his daughter's preference for the practical and simple over the extravagant and flashy.

"They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give themselves to me. In great armor shall I clad them and with the mightiest weapons shall I arm them,"

Gustav briefly considered asking the king about the promise made to the late queen but decided against it. Instead his gaze followed Faolan's towards his daughter, "With the war over, I could take on the duty of full-time bodyguard if you require it of me. I'm sure my king won't object, it could go a long way to helping promote greater kinship between our kingdoms as well if the people see us cooperating in such a manner as well." It seemed like a sound enough suggestion. With the war over, the need for active generals was significantly lessened and he had trained up many a worthy captain to take over his duties should it be necessary.

Returning his gaze to Faolan, the general found it difficult to suppress the smile that crept across his features at the mention of his wife. "Peace suits him quite well. Now that we aren't devoted resources towards a war effort, we've made great strides towards producing synthetic blood. I suspect soon enough we'll be able to eliminate the need to feed on others entirely, most of the royal family already does as does a good portion of the populace and our standing military. You've also heard quite correctly, Raine recently married the lovely Lady Akeldama of the DeLestat family. You might recall her from the signing of the treaty, when she represented her family as part of the vampire's portion of the peace council. They married just a year after the treaty was signed, expanding the king's immediately family by 2 as the Queen also had an adopted daughter as well," Gustav spoke quite fondly of the royal family of Crimson Falls. It warmed his heart to know that his king was finally able to find happiness in others, too long had Gustav and Raine been side-by-side on battlefields torn by violence.

Monica Loore

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Monica stood in a long line outside the festival grounds, waiting, along with guests from all over the kingdoms, to pass through security. She tugged uncomfortably at the hem of her attire for the evening, a short olive dress hardly reaching her knees and sporting a collar, which wrapped around her neck in an elegant lace complimented by tiny sparkling gems. Something from her mother, no doubt. No one else in the family had such cheesy taste in clothing. If it were up to her, she would have come wearing her everyday wardrobe, but the woman insisted that this event wasn't only for having fun. It was for looking your best and putting on a good image, as well. You never knew who you would meet in a place like this. She sighed as a gentle breeze swept through the area and pulled the fabric down her legs a little farther. Honestly, the sides and back of this thing were completely non-existent. It left her feeling very exposed to the night air, plus any wandering eyes that happened to glance her way. She'd already been unlucky enough to have a run in with some knuckle-heads on the way here, a couple of jerks getting drunk long before the party started, thinking they were going to make a pass on some sweet young lassie. "Bastards messed up my hair." She huffed, raising her arms to make sure her braided low ponytail hadn't come undone. Of course they didn't do anything, but it took a lot of effort on her part to get them to leave her alone. What the hell was her mom thinking?

Ah well, none of that would stop her from enjoying this night. Not after waiting for so long to come here and experience the festivities. When she first heard about the event being held in Crimson Falls, Monica thought it was a great idea to have all the kingdoms coming together for some fun. Though no one could ignore the fragile ties between them, it was a nice gesture towards making everyone feel more secure in the fact that any issues they had with each other in the past were long gone. She shuffled ahead as the line moved forward, glancing past shoulders to watch the security check everyone passing through for anything that might be considered dangerous. Not much time passed before her turn came up. Monica lifted her arms to be patted down gently, grinning back at the soldiers as they apologized for the wait and told her to have a wonderful night. Luckily she'd anticipated being searched and decided to leave her gauntlets at home, those might not have passed through so easily. "Thanks, you too." Free to roam the area as she pleased, Monica looked around at the many stalls set up. "Alright, which one should I go to first? There's always the games, but I am pretty hungry.." She mumbled to herself. Her stomach growled at the mention of food. Getting something to eat seemed like a good idea, so she set off in search of something to fill her gut.

A big smile showed on Dita face when she saw Raine fangs "he got sharp teeth but yet he don't hide them"she thought to herself as she gazed a quick look at Ryosuke but quickly turned her head away"he he it was a honor getting to meet you king Raine"she said sweetly and softly giving a curtsy.

Ryosuke watch the interaction of the two and saw Dita face that held many questions, that he know if he let Dita met the lycan king or any lycans she would be swooning with questions about her own self that right now and having to deal with his father and rule of the kingdom but since peace is between all kingdom he wait until he tell anyone. Nodding his head at Raine"I understand king Raine"he said looking back and forth at his sister and his servant who separately is a handful but together nothing but headachesb when the staff and knights come to him about them.

A hyper Dita look around at all the game tables that they have"master can we try a couple of games"she asked pouting seeing his cold look on his face that told her he don't do games. Turning her head slowly she wrap her arms around Layla arms"princess can we play games pllleeaaassee master no fun at all"giving Layla the puppy dog eyes which she do very well and Ryosuke just have them both a cold glare"games are for children and something I don't do"he reminded Dita .

Then he gazed at Layla"why didn't you tell me father made you perform I would of spoke to him"knowing how Layla is shy in public, Ryosuke love to hear Layla music but not at the cost of jet being nervous in from of the whole three kingdoms.

The lycan king had pondered about the offer as he watched his little princess win the first prize of the game she was playing. Ah seeing the smiles of his two children is the greatest joy for a father. In his eyes, Yiva was looking more like her mother each and every day. But his yellow gaze soon shifted to the guard that was meant to be her escort and the way he had his arms around her waist irritated him. It was more than rude to him, his actions were a little inappropriate to say the least. "I believe...I will take you up on being her full time bodyguard. It will make less worried of her roaming about and also..." He paused a bit to bow his head in greetings to the people that had passed them by. "I trust you more than your soldier there with her..." At this point and as he spoke, the said soldier looked as if he was trying to forcibly kiss the lycan princss and that angered him more.

"They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give themselves to me. In great armor shall I clad them and with the mightiest weapons shall I arm them,"

Gustav politely bowed his heads to the other guests that arrived, his attention wasn't fully on the princess and her escort so most the man's actions were unnoticed until the king pointed out how he trusted him more than the current escort. The general was about to make an off handed comment about how his men were well trained when he saw it himself. This was completely inexcusable behavior from a soldier he handpicked for the event. "Forgive me sire, but I had expected better of my men," the general's eyes flashed a noticeably darker shade of crimson as he approached the princess and her escort.

Coming up behind the man, he jabbed into the soldier's pressure points near the neck to disable him then pulled him into a headlock. "You are teetering dangerously on the edge of an incident that will not only cost you your job but also your life," he hissed to the soldier before shoving the soldier away. "Report back to the barracks to await re-evaluation," he said sternly, watching the soldier scamper away quickly to avoid further tempting the general's wrath. Recomposing himself, Gustav sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "I apologize for that Princess, I had hoped the men I hand selected would be above such petty trifles and harassment. Seems like entrusting another to the task of watching you is impossible. So I'll be serving as your escort instead," he said with a smile and a bow of his head.

The Lycan princess watched as the now former escort was being scolded by the general himself. Gustav...the very man she had wanted to be with all this time. But she never said anything since he was always so busy. Sighing softly, she shook her head and smiled at him. "No no...If anyone should apologize it should be me..."Yiva paused only to hold onto the teddy bear that she had just won in a tight grip. "It seems like no matter where I go, there's always something about me that brings out that side of men...something I don't know what could be."Her expression is of someone lost in thought until he had mentioned that he'll be her escort. It made her smile and look at him. "That would be wonderful.Thank you!"

Layla watched as the king left before she was almost got knocked over by Dita grabbing onto her arms. She could not help but laugh seeing how over joyed Dita was and the comment about her brother made her laugh even more. "I am sorry Ryosuke but you are kinda a stick in the mud" Layla playfully stuck her tongue out at her brother. Then an idea came to her mind to get him to join them. "The only reason Ryosuke does not want to play the games is because he is really bad at them" Layla pretended to whisper to Dita but was not even whispering since she was teasing her brother just the right amount to get him to play some games.

Hearing her brother comment about why she did not come to him about playing Layla turned towards him with a smile yet her face showed that she was totally serious. "Look Ryosuke I decided I wanted to do this. I was never as strong as you to be able to fight in the war to help my kingdom but I want to do this not only for all of the kingdoms but myself as well. I cant keep hiding behind my own fears while I saw you fight through so much for both for me, Dita and our kingdom." Layla spoke from her heart to her brother as her eyes never waived from him.

Turning back to Dita Layla started to walk towards the game booths. "So Dita what game do you want to play first?" Looking at the different stall Layla could see that there were all sorts of games but the main one that caught her eye was the knife throwing game. Her eyes were locked on it knowing all to well that she could win it easily but at the same time she did not want her brother to find out that she was a master in swordsmanship and knife throwing. It was supposed to be her secret as well as the soldier who trained Layla.

Avania Angelique Moondust
Captain of Crimson Falls

Just as always, Avania was on her guard. It was weird because of the way she seem so lost in thought that think she wasn't. The still new vampire was on the other side of the festival grounds making sure all is secured. So far there was no trouble at all everything was peaceful and serene. There was no one suspicious enough to cause troube or start a fight of any kind. It wasn't long that her yellow eyes had spotted her savior the prince that she smiled. But that smiled faded when she saw his expression of not wanting to be bothered so she didn't. Instead she went to greet all those who were just coming in.

Avania had spotted two lycans. A male lycan that went inside a venue to change his attire. She could tell what he is with her new found sense and another one. The other was the one called Monica. Of course she didn't know the girl's name but she can sure hear her stomach growling. It made her chuckled as she approached the girl with a warm smile. "If you want a food stall, that one is the best one ." She pointed to one with various types of food that she tried before. "Try the burger is delicious."

Back on the streets, Aramis had eaten now and was keen on finishing up the few tasks he had at hand. Of course he wasn't about to rush things, it was the easiest way to get caught, no, he was a patient man and knew better than to underestimate the Crimson Falls guard.
He would just need to bide and this lycan could wait for months if he needed to, for now he was back to relearn the layout of this beautiful kingdom.

Back into the main festival ground, Aramis wasn't sticking to the shadows, preferring to be out in the open and enjoying himself. He wasn't concerned about being seen, he had never been much on the radar and had never really become known.
Really it worked in his favor, the only ones who might really know or care who he was were other nobles who had been around two hundred years ago when he'd first left, or perhaps his former commanding officers.

Moving between the booths, Aramis was genuinely pleased to see the various things offered at the festival had greatly increased in numbers.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Monica stopped in her tracks when she heard someone approaching, turning her head to give a curious glance over her shoulder at the pretty blonde female casually pointing out a food stall she'd nearly missed in her rush to find something edible. Apparently their burgers were pretty good, but as she turned again to look at what they had on display, everything stood out to her as 'delicious'. Guess hunger had a way of making even the simplest of meals seem like gourmet dinner. "Thanks, I'd eat just about anything right now. But I guess you already knew that." She smiled gently at the girl, reaching back to rub the nape of her neck in embarrassment. Had it really been that easy to tell she was hungry? Her gut could be pretty loud at times, but she didn't think it was loud enough to be heard from a mile away.

"I don't think we've met. My name is Monica Loore, what a mighty fine pleasure it is to meet you." She crossed an arm over her torso and leaned forward in a polite bow, being careful not to lean too much, lest the hem of her dress rise over her legs again. "And who do I have to thank for saving me from starvation?" She asked jokingly, straightening out her posture. Whoever this person was, she obviously wasn't of Lycan descent. She didn't sport the peculiar smell her people normally carried, but that of someone from Crimson Falls. It didn't come as much of a surprise to Monica, seeing as they were all in vampire territory, and she'd come into contact with people from other kingdoms on more than one occasion.

Akeldama DeLestat
Queen of Crimson Falls

Soon after Dawn came inside of the limo, the driver drove off with the queen and princess inside and towards the festivals grounds. Her beloved must be worried about them being late but then again their daughter has always been a bit slow at these things. Akeldama stared at the scenery out of the window until they have arrived. Ah her husband and the others did a wonderful job with the decor and the preparations and it seems like it was at full swing already Hopefully Dawn can relax just a little but if not she'll have to create a jewel or something to help control her blood lust.

For new vampires that has always been such an issue. For her even though she was born a vampire the blood lust was never easy for her either. It wasn't long that they had arrived and stepped out of the limo. Upon doing so though the announcer had announced their arrival but her crimson eyes were already searching for her precious king.

Avania nodded her head toward the booth she had pointed a moment ago and smiled. "How about we take care of the hunger first and chat more.Don't worry it's my treat."She spoke while leading the way to the food booth. Her pace is slow to make it easy for Monica to follow her. Her new found speed is another thing she has trouble with sometimes.

After departing from the human prince and princess, Raine continued to anxiously watch the road. It wasn't long before he spotted the limo approaching, the announcer confirming it was indeed the one that carried his family. His heart seeming to soar as he saw his fair wife step into the festival grounds, he wasted no time in making his way towards her. Gracefully approaching Akeldama, he couldn't help but to smile brightly at her. "Akel, my beloved. I've been waiting anxiously for you and Dawn to arrive. Many of the other royal guests have arrived already, though I've been informed that the king and queen of Celestial Skies are running late and won't arrive until later," as he spoke, he offered his hand to his wife. Now that she was here, it was a given that he'd likely be staying by her side for the duration of the festival.

Remember the adamant rose that the princess of Celestial Skies made for them as an offering, he showed it to Akeldama, holding it up to the moonlight. "Speaking of Celestial Skies, their princess made this most interesting gift for us," It was still quite amazing to his eyes to see such an object formed in front of him. In his long life, manipulation of adamant was a new one to his eyes. "I trust our daughter didn't give the servants too much trouble?" he cast a thin smile towards the direction of Dawn. Though the girl wasn't of his blood, he loved her just as the same.
