Description: In appearance, she isn't entirely intimidating. Kanan is slender and graceful, has flowing red locks that is rarely pulled back, and gentle eyes to match. She usually wears a red kimono with white hakama, and black tabi.
Alias: Kanan is often called the Lady of Calamity by those that greatly respect her. ((kanan means literally 'fire calamity'))
Weapon: An unwieldy-looking axe that seems far too large for someone Kanan's frame to use properly. Formally known as the Axe of Courage, the weapon itself was named Taishou by Kanan, meaning "crushing victory", and is most certainly used effectively in her hands. The axe blade is engraved with blood channels resembling flames that dance along its sharp edge.
Personality: As one of the Barbarians, she has a very strong sense of honor and pride. Kanan's passionate fires can become all-consuming, though she is usually very kind. As fire, she is impulsive and during long battles tends to burn herself out. She isn't very patient, but logical and realistic. Naturally, she tends to shy away from water, sand, and rock.
